  1. Technic General Discussion Welcome to the Technic General Discussion topic. Here you can post small questions or comments about Lego Technic which don't need a topic of their own. This way we will keep the number of topics limited. Examples Has anyone built vehicle x? Where can I find this or that? I missed this set on eBay...darn!
  2. Hello. I have around 16 used shock absorbers that I purchased from BrickLink, all used. When they arrived, I cleaned them thoroughly with a Clorox Wipe. I spent about 1 minute wiping each one. Can the bleach in the Clorox Wipe rust the metal spring? Is there anything I should do to prevent rust? Thank you.

  5. Futurama's Bender Minifigure

After the release of the Simpsons house and the first Simpsons-Minifigure-Series last year, I thought that it would be cool to have some Futurama-themed LEGO sets/figures as well. So I designed a Bender-Minifigure. I had to adjust some of the parts to fit the LEGO-pieces (like lifting the foot-pieces, upscale the hands and fingers, etc.). Most parts are ment to be made out of "normal" plastic (ABS). The legs, arms, fingers and the antenna should be made out of semi-hard rubber (like some of the tooth/horn pieces).
  6. Hellforged

In the fields the bodies burning as the war machine keeps turning So, as with most of the stuff I build, there isn't really a story behind this guy, I just wanted to use up a bunch of the big silver shells I had sitting around. making the figure look like it has a furnace inside, glowing with an inner flame was also a goal, I've wanted to do something like that for ages now. It mostly pulls inspiration from Privateer Press' Warmachine boardgame and it's Warjack units. I also wanted to experiment with proportions a bit, hence the whole top-heavy look tapering to tiny feet. Not really much else to say about it, he think the figure is pretty self-explanatory. Also, I think this guy is the first creation I've actually extensively used the new 2015 parts, having finally gotten some sets a couple of weeks ago. Anyway, thanks for taking a look, your feedback would be greatly appreciated!
  7. Metal Gears

I have a small question to ask yourself: do you know sites that sell lego technic metal gears? I've had enough need since my Tatra truck has already broken two in half .. the problem is that I do not notice when they break because it happens suddenly. I realize after several minutes that lacks a gear since my truck is powerful enough to continue to advance with little difficulty. I hope that has not already been made any discussion of this topic.
