My model is a city bus with New York City MTA livery. I have put more detail on this model comparing to the lego buses in current or past city sets. The reason to build this bus is to provide Lego fans specially to kids to have a Lego bus with the more realistic look. Bus is a popular vehicle type among children. I remember when I was a child, I always wanted to own a great looking lego bus. I believe I am not the only one who has same wish. I submit the project to LEGO Ideas. Red five-car electric passenger train set (60051 / 7745 MOD)

This electric high speed passenger train was inspired by both 7745 (High-Speed City Express Passenger Train Set) from 1985 and 60051 (High-Speed Passenger train) from 2014. The train features two locomotives (with no motors in either), one club car and four coaches. The roof of each car comes off to get at the inside, and all but the locomotives have interior details such as tables and chairs. (The cab cars are supposed to have generators and mechanical details, but I couldn't make it look good so they were removed.) The cabs on the two locomotives have computer screens for the drivers, but the rest of the open space is empty. You can add in PF / or 9v motors to either (or both!) of the locos, but I did not due to my personal preference of hand pushing things around. This car is one of four identical ones that all have removable roof sections. The club car's top roof section is removable to get at the upper floor, but the lower section is not accessible at all. (I did try unsuccessfully to make it work. The LDD file for this model is at brick safe. Please note, the red of the train can be completely replaced by blue, if you wanted to give it some variety. 4-4-2 "Atlantic" steam locomotive with Great West passenger train

I don't see many 4-4-2 Atlantic types steam locos around in LEGO, and even less orange-colored trains besides the TGV-like Horizon Express and SP Daylight 4449. This should fix both problems at the same time, and yes, it's build-able in this color in real life. The Atlantic type 4-4-2 (4 leading, 4 driving, 2 trailing) was the top-of-the-line express train hauler in the middle 1890's to early 1910's. Some continued right up until the end of steam in the Fifties, with the Hiawatha's of the Milwaukee Road hitting 100 MPH speeds daily with this wheel arrangement. The engine should have "3110" printed on it's cab and "GREAT WEST" on it's tender in 1 x 1 tiles. The cab of the loco with four printed gauges and the firebox door. Four identical passenger cars in matching orange paint-scheme are pulled by the Atlantic-type steam locomotive. The words GREAT and WEST are supposed to be printed on the 2 x 4 tiles on either side of the cars. Here you can see the whole train at once. I'm not sure when or if this loco and it's consist will be built, but if it is I will update this post here with better, real-world photos. LDD file available at this link here. Goal was to make as similar wagon as this one from Roco company, which make locomotives, wagons etc for model railway. This wagon was made in Epoche III and for "Deutsche Reichsbahn (DDR)". Of course, some modifications and compensation was made, because of lack of some LEGO pieces in right color or they are too expensive, like curved slopes for the roof in metallic color. Emmm, I'm sorry for the unclear pictures. Wagon is without interior, because there is no room for anything detailed, except LEGO seats. I try to make chassis frame as on the picture, but use the original LEGO wheels. The wheels are a little bit too far from each other what causes some friction on LEGO curved rails, but on bigger radius like ME Model tracks has, there is no problem at all.

This is my attempt at making a Touristic Bus - Coach. I tried to keep the vehicle 6 studs wid, like all other LEGO models are, but now, when it's made I see, that 8 studs would be better. Well, next time. :) As mentioned already, creation is 6 studs wide and 33 studs long. Both doors can be opened. I tried to build both doors the same size, but 4 studs wide front doors was too wide. I tried to build with SNOT technique and made 3 studs wide front door, but then "Battle droid arm" for opening the door can't be mounted. So I decided that the front door will be two and the rear will be four studs wide.

Hello Building a coach was something I wanted to do for a long time, but now after several digital attempts I managed to build one with real bricks. The prototype was a Volvo 9700 from Norway. I chose this bus because I traveled two and a half years ago with such a bus on this route. The line is called Lofotenekspressen, Lofoten is a group of Islands in the North of Norway, Ekspressen means express in Norwegian. I tried to replicate the typical shape of the Volvo with the sloped windows and the curves on the front. There are also openable doors on the bus. Hello all I would like to share a coach (this time one from the street, not from the rails). The prototype was a Neoplan Cityliner in the newest version. I picked this coach because of its special look of the windscreen. I built the long version with three axles as a 8wide model with the LDD. The most difficult part was of course the curved windscreen but also the rear was a bit tricky and there is a lot of SNOT work on both ends. So a couple of people have asked for a more detailed look at some of my MOCs, and who am I to say no? Each gallery will come with the LDD file. Although the LDD designs are always my own work (unless otherwise stated), a lot of inspiration will have been taken from other people's work. I will endeavour to credit anyone who's work has inspired me. To make things easier, I'll provide a link to all my MOCs from this first post: Locomotives - Coaches - 6 Wide Pullman Wagons - More MOCs to come! 6 Wide Pullman The basic style for this build was very much inspired by youtube user technoandrew's Pullmans. LDD File: Click me! LDD notes: Roof is held on by friction alone. Turn tables fit into the smaller arched formed windows to make the toilet windows. The 2x4 black tiles (of which there should be 4, not 2) fit into the larger arch formed windows to represent the door windows (and hid the ugly stuff behind them). The frames under the coach are formed using some chopped 3mm hose.

Everyone remembers the 9V Train's sub-theme "My Own Train"... or if you don't and are wondering what I'm talking about look here on Bricklink for a list of all the sets in that theme: http://www.bricklink...ing=124.315.694 The passenger aspect of this sub-theme is covered by this set, #10015: Passenger Wagon. (seen in this stock Bricklink photo below) Also, I might suggest you look at -R8-'s 2011 Reviewer's Academy review of the set here on Eurobricks: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=59018 Everyone loves a classic, and the set deserves the affection if gets. However, it really lacks variety if you have a whole train of these running around. I asked myself these questions: Where does the baggage / mail go? Where are the end tail lights? Why am I talking to myself? Thus, I built my own version, which I plan on getting in real life soon (if not next): I went ahead and added inter-car walkways, giving it less a 1870's feel and more a 1910's look, plus two sliding doors for the combination baggage / passenger car. A small rear platform for the observation car was added, as were 1/2 stud recessed doors for platform access. These coaches are also build-able in tan, dark purple, reddish brown, white, black, and red. They are to be pulled by engine #4613 around my layout: (EDIT: 7/22/14: Updated the photo of the engine to a more recent screenshot... now I just need to take a real life photo!) What do you think?
