    [MOC] Officer Cop

It's been a few years since I've been afforded the time to build with Lego. My collection is at home, I only am a portion of the time. And summer jobs make things tough. But, rambling aside, I'm trying to get back in the game a little. So here's something I whipped up as a preamble. Officer Cop the Robot Cop Officer: Officer Cop pulls long night shifts, because he loves serving the public so much. But if he's on for too long, he'll over heat!! Good thing his inventors installed a handy little thermostat right in his chest! All he has to do is glance down. Officer Cop is (swift?) pursuit of a perp. Officer Cop staying in shape, doing some pushups. That's all she wrote for now. More on the way!

    [MOC] Mixel robot

All are complete sets of 3, except the red. I was unable to find the red bird one. Used the fire for hair on the red. Really wanted the gray to be bulkier, but ran out of parts. I really like how the orange turned out. Had the most difficulty with blue and brown because of fewer joints.

[MOC] MIXELS Robot Again and Again

HI, here is the robot built by 3 brown MIXELS sets only. I feel difficult to build this robot by using just the brown MIXELS sets as there are fewer hinge/ball joint parts comparing with the orange and blue sets. It takes me much time than the orange and blue one. The last is a group photo of 3 Mixels Robots of series 2, hope you guys like them.

    [MOC] MIXELS Robot Again

The Blue robot is created by using the parts of MIXELS 41509-11 only. I had difficulty when building it because these 3 bags only have 158 pieces of parts. Hope you guys like it!

    [Timelapse] Microfig Iron Condor

Hello everyone! This is actually the first time I ever recorded something I am doing on my laptop, so any suggestions would be much appreciated. So this is a timelapse of me building a microfig scale Iron Condor in Lego Digital Deisgner. Aside from some small features, the main look and color scheme are intact. Comments and critiques are welcome! Thanks for tuning it.

    [MOC] MIXELS Robot

Hi, this robot is built by using the 3 MIXELS set 41515-17 only. There are not much ball joins parts in these 3 bags. I use the clips as the joint of the legs and foots but it is stable when it stands. Hope you like my creation. Thanks!

  9. Hello there everyone! After watching The Lego movie on the 9th, I noticed that in the movie, Metalbeard has some differences to the Metalbeard in the set: 70802- Metalbeard's Duel. I decided to change it to be more "Movie-accurate" (I apologise for the bad quality photos) Front: Back: I noticed there was a 2x4 dark grey plate on his back in the movie: Source image: Hope you like my 'mod'

    Filth

Flith - Experimental Biotech. So I got a bunch of these white parts a few weeks ago and just started putting them together. This is what came out in the end. It draws inspiration from the cat creature from the movie 9, as well as the machines from the Portal series. I'm rather satisfied with how it turned out. Your comments and criticism is very appreciated, as always!

    [LDD MOC/Wallpaper] The Jackal

Warframe Lego Jackal Wallpaper 1366x768 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr In attempt to exert power and authority The Corpus recently introduced the most the most dangerous security proxy yet. Nicknamed the 'Jackal', this is the same deadly quadro-bot which has become extremely problematic for Tenno in the field. Jackal is the final boss of the Venus system. It can be found on the mission Fossa. The Jackal is a massive four-legged mechanical beast with yellow-green armor plating (in my version it's yellow). Jackal armed with two heavy machine guns and grenade launchers capable of taking off a squad of Tenno in one blow.

    Friendly Pollinator Drone

The pollen from the giant "Fuschia Bellis Perennis" is an expensive delicacy to humans but is the primary source of food to the peaceful insectoid Nalongii. They use giant drone worker robots to collect it's sweet harvest.
  16. Here is something I built for the MCP Program, using exclusively parts from set 31313: This is Santa Claus' sleigh, pulled by his faithful reindeer Rudolph! Rudolph pulls the sleigh by using the same leg mechanism I came up with for : a simplified version of the Klann linkage. Besides the large motor for walking, there's another one for (very roughly) adjust the angle between Rudolph and the sleigh to allow for curves, and a medium one for making Santa wave his arm.Of course, Rudolph has to have a red nose! The colour sensor, set for reflection mode, gives the nice redness. Like with , I made a point of using the infrared sensor "upside down" for Santa's eyes, to avoid the "aggressive" look given by the lines printed on the sensor. I tried to have the EV3 prominently displayed, with its side ports for USB and SD unobstructed, and reserved space for the rechargeable battery.I really like how the robot turned out to look: it was fun trying to make the most of the 31313's relatively limited assortment of parts (for example, some dampers for Rudolph's hooves would be most welcome). On the other hand, I really wasn't able to make it work well: with an EV3 loaded with batteries, a large motor, a medium motor, and assorted parts, the sleigh got really heavy for Rudolph to pull, even with wheels underneath. Also, the steering is just too abrupt for direct remote control, and I couldn't find a way to gear it down while using the available parts and still look cool. Here is the video of it in motion. And here are some more pictures. If you want to see any detail or other angles, just ask. I hope you like it!

    [LDD MOC/Wallpaper] The Hyena

The Hyena Wallpaper by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Recent innovations in Corpus robotics has led to surge in productions. The newest breed consists of small unrelenting animal-like proxies that stalk their prey in packs. Code-name: 'Hyena'. Hyena is the final boss of the Neptune system. It can be found on the mission Psamathe. The Hyena resembles a smaller light blue Jackal. Armed with the same twin machine guns and a shockwave emitter, also able to shoot homing missiles which can cause a formidable amount of damage. The Hyena.lxf

    Police "Rabbit"

As a child I always played with the “Lego city”, but to the Lego Police has always been missing something... here what was missing!!! 23. I came up with the idea to build a robot that can get me a beer or soda from the fridge while I'm watching Die Hard... I'm building it completely from Lego Technic, mostly studded. I use my own designed electronics to control the motors, pneumatic valves and read out the sensors. It saves me hundreds of Euro's by not using the NXT platform ;) Next to that: the NXT platform is not as flexible as other programming platforms. I have been busy with it for a few months now and there were some problems to be solved so I've divided "the project" in smaller goals: 1. Get the rover over a bump in the living room (success!) There's a nasty bump between the kitchen and the living room. Since the robot is going to be well over 10kg, I had to find a way to get it over the bump. The solution was to use caterpillar tracks (the robot needs to be able to turn around its own axle) with on top of that studless beams for extra grip. I've put some filt on top of the beams so my wooden floor doesn't get damaged. Video 1: 2. Make the robot move sideward to be able to position itself (success!) Not being sure about the precision of the tracks, I need the robot to be able to move sideward for positioning itself in front of the fridge (to be able to grap the handle). I designed a pneumatic system with 8 pistons that push down 8 wheels, that lift up the robot just a bit. That way the robot can move sideward, which is impossible with caterpillar tracks. As you will see in video 3, the accuracy of the distance sensors is good enough that the robot doesn't need to move sideward. If the system isn't needed when the robot is completed, I could remove it. Video 2: 3. Indoor navigation: make the robot find its way to the frigde, couch and back (success!) Using 4 ultrasonic distance sensors and a digital compass, I make the robot navigate around the house. It works just perfect! Video 3: 4. Think of a way to make the robot open the fridge I'm working on this one now. This one is by far the hardest to complete. I have already a pneumatic system that can grab the handle and open the fridge a few centimeters by setteling itself against the fridge. As you know: sometimes the fridge door is a bit stuck and you need some force to open it. Grabbing the handle and just drive backward doesn't work because of the height of the robot. Right now I need to find a way to open the fridge door further and move the robot to the inside side of the door. This is tricky and I haven't figured it out yet. If you have any suggestions: let me know! Further things to do: 5. Make the robot able to grab a can of beer/soda 6. Make the robot do the whole thing: getting out of hibernation, getting a beer, bring it to the couch and go back to the hibernation spot 7. Design an Android app that communicates with the robot through Bluetooth so I can order a beer from the couch

    Blindvolt

A powerful AI enforcer created after the fall of Toa Oxell at the hands of his at-the-time psychotic partner Toa Ramnux. Blindvolt wants to prove he's more than a machine. His first emotionless action once put online was to put Ramnux out of his misery, which (now that he has developed a personality) is a decision that Blindvolt has come to completely regret. His name stems from the fact that justice is blind- and from his electric weaponry as well- though this title is merely poetic and Blindvolt himself is far from sightless. ^ CLICK THE IMAGE ABOVE TO VIEW THE MOCPAGES GALLERY . ^ This MOC was made in March 2013. Feedback is appreciated.
