Pirates of the Caribbean Disneyland Ride As my all time favorite Amusement Park Ride I have always wanted to represent Pirates of the Caribbean in LEGO. Hey all, we'd like to present another alternate build from the Lego 42154-1 Ford GT set. This was the best I could do out of the Ford GT! Honestly, I'd just like to hear if you guys liked it :) A 1/12 Scale Technic Ferrari F40. When designing this model, we wanted to preserve the Ferrari's iconic features and looks to make it a worthy replica of the famous sports car. The limited parts available in the Ford GT set proved challenging, making a functional car that looks accurate and performs as a good display piece. Spent the last few days using spare blue parts to make this mech. Decided to go with a water theme since it was blue. And why not a trident? And a giant fan thingy? Lemme know what you think. Last photo is a bit grainy cause the sun was going down :p

Once again I dug up something from the 80s... and once again it's something related to a movie police character called "Murphy" - Frank Murphy this time, to be precise. But although this Lego version of the Blue Thunder helicopter is in minifig scale unfortunately for Frank I wasn't able to incorporate functional cockpit doors... sorry Frank, you're stuck in there for all eternity! I hope you like my take on the iconic Blue Thunder from the 1983 movie. If you like it and you're up for a bit of a challenge you can find the free instructions here & some more pics here. [MOC] Inspection Submarine: The Humpback

My latest creation; ...it's another submarine . It's a small one, I do hope to build a really big submarine one day. The observation dome on top, the printed transparent dish, came from some Star Wars set. Lots of canopies to give the operator a complete view of the surroundings. I hope you like it. I'd put it on Ideas but who am I kidding, people are only interested in yellow submarines . -

The Blue Cottage My latest creation is a rural house that joins my series of weird houses I have built in the last two years ("Walden", Joe's Cottage, A-frame Cabin, Stilt Houses etc ..). My goal was to build a cozy country house featuring three new elements: an uncommon color scheme, a shape that I hadn't used before and an unconventional doors/windows shape. The main feature is probably the asymmetrical roof with a very sloping shape to the left. The woodshed is located under the excess roof. The uncommon blue/black color combo is simple but effective, and the yellow trees in the background match well. Last but not least the door and windows are round, a shape never seen on a cottage but quite common in Hobbit houses. The host, who is coming home from a hunting trip, has a nice off-road vehicle painted with a color scheme matching with the cottage. It was very funny building the "long sloping roof" structure and trying to add a few weird details. I also played with the light to let the scene as deep as possible. Hope you like it!

These are two 4.5V 70s/80s train motors, one in the tender and one in the 7720 loc. The tender also has a Power Functions receiver and a 4.8V NiMH battery pack. The charger is USB and the batteries can be charged via the plug, no need to remove anything. I tried to push-pull 17 wagons with it, which was succesful (engines in the middle). Then I tried to pull all 21 wagons I own (engines in front), which failed because the magnets wouldn't hold despite added thin neodymium magnet discs. I'll see about uploading a video if the quality is acceptable... Ah yes the roof of the tender wasn't finished yet in the video => And new attempt with all 21 wagons succeeded (23 wagons if you count the engines too): https://youtu.be/8dZ3aVw015E Legotux

Hi all, I gave another try to the new 12-wheeler chassis, and this time I could not resist to recreate another iconic locomotive. The real DB E03 is based on a CoCo wheel arrangement, so the 7740 locomotive was more accurate on this aspect. But I'm in the "Blue Era" , so I am a bit limited to the 4,5v/12v motor size and "rigidity". Therefore, my DB E03 is still a 12-wheeler, but in a BoBoBo-like arrangement. Don't tell anyone! This is my first DB E03 - I've never built one in other styles or sizes, apart the 7740. I chosed the first one produced since i liked that silver middle line separating the red and the yellow parts. It can be built also as a DB E103, removing the gray line in the middle of the body, adding a second line of lateral grilles, and changing the pantographs to the one-armed model (it was already used in the late 70s - so it fits the Blue Era). The correct wagons for this one could easily be the Rheingold ones, but in red/yellow color scheme. They should be a bit longer too. In this case, they would be also a lot heavier, I wonder if the 12v motor can pull such heavy things on highly-uneffective wheels lof the time. I hope you like it! Ciao! Davide

I'd like to present the Tower Crane - PF: 3x L-Motor, 2x IR, LiPo - Trolley movement - Hoisting - Turning. The goal of this creation was to make a playable machine with optimal movements speed. The body is made of sections, it may be higher and longer. -
This model was part of a recreation of the not-yet-released set 10259 (Winter Village Train Station) by user @JopieK (many thanks to him for the file!) over on this post seen here. I added some of my own touches, including a second level with spiral staircase and a change from yellow to blue for the color scheme. The rear of the bus features a slightly hidden spare tire behind the stairs. The model has a opening entry / exit door at the front of the bus and each level comes off individually. The staircase is attached at two points: a four-stud connection to the second level, and a single stud to the lower level. The staircase comes off easily when needed, but is sturdy enough not to fall off at the wrong time. As usual, Comments, Questions and Complaints are always welcome! -

Hello all! Kinda late but better later than never. I want to present you my entry for REBRICK contest :BUILD THE FUTURE . And I built a trike :) The main feature of this model is the trazition from drive mode to fly mode . Front wheels are lowered by 2 small LAs and the rear wheel raises (by 2 small LAs) . This is done by 1 M motor. Driving works at any time and it is powered by 1 M motor. About the steering , it is powered by 1 servo motor . The handlebar is conected to the steering. When wheels are lowered they can still be sterred [it looks so cool :) ] . The last freature is working front independent suspention (works in both modes) . Managed to fulfill several things I wanted to do for a long time with this new model. First thing first - built in blue. This colour isn't very common in Technic area - part variety is limited and some are harder to obtain. Next thing I wanted to get my hands on, after seeing wonderful James Tillson builds, are these new Technic panels. Bought a bunch of them recently and finally had a chance to explore the possibilities. Ended up using 15 smaller and 4 longer panels. Some shapes are just wonderful thanks to them. Last thing I wanted to incorporate were RC motor with SBrick. Model is medium sized and thanks to smaller battery box everything is well hidden. Thanks to that model has interior. Oh and controlling model with smartphone is horrible (worse than running after model with IR stuff). Need to find a physical controller. Model features opening doors and suspension. Rear is nothing special - RC motor is used as arm with two hard springs. The front is a bit special due to lack of space - it has torsion bar setup. More pictures on Flickr

This is more like a "mod" than MOC :) I have finally got the 76004 set with Nick Fury, Spider Man and Venom (I love Venom!), but the green car does not look right in my setup which contains the original Quinjet, original jeep and my MOC Avengers truck. So I just turned it back to the official blue color... And now everything is all good and ready for battle!

Hello Train peoples :) Here to you I present a Tank Engine I built some time ago. It is probably obvious enough what it's based upon :P It may not be much, but it was the first thing I built after my dark ages. Now, with no further ado, here are the pictures! Please excuse my poor camera quality :( The rods on the wheels are actually single track pieces. This side view shows how big the cab is, i'm not sure if the proportions look proper or not.. The Unexciting back view! The inside of the cabin is a simple firebox and 4x1 tile with controls on it. Another angle of it... And finally, here is a front view of the engine. I think it looks better with two headlamps, but that's just my preference. I think I prefer working in 8 stud wide engines more than the usual 6, which is what I used to do when I was younger. The main reason I put these pictures up is because i'm probably going to dismantle it in a few days to use the blue parts for some other creations. Please let me know what you think of it, or if you have any suggestions that could make this or any future engines I might build any better? There was a great steam engine that used to run through my back garden in the 1850's to the 1950's, recently a book was published on it, i'm considering recreating it in Lego form.. Axle

Hello everyone, i just unearthed some old 4.5 vilt trains from storage. Now I am not so sure what to build with them so could you please show some of your creations with 4.5 volt trains? One more thing is do 4.5 volt trains run on pf track as well as 4.5 volt track? Thx.

I have motorized my 7939-inspired MOC and added a new engine inspired by early Box-cab diesels. This is my first couple of motorized MOCs ever, and I'm not sure I did it quite right. I won't be building them, but if anyone wants to take a crack at them be my guest. Here is the front view. The yellow engine is also build able in red or black, while the blue engine is also build able in white. The cab on the yellow engine opens up, but the blue loco is inaccessible at this time. It may be possible to fix this, but it would require a roof redesign and I don't feel like redoing the engine (again) right now... Here we see the innards of the engines: The triple A Battery box and IR receiver. There are two 2x2 holes in the frame of the engine for a PF cord to the motor. No lights are included, but it may be possible to make them fit inside if you really wanted to. The roof sections that are hidden in this picture are removable, and are held on by four studs each. Terrifying thunderlizard. Another one of these big lizard things I've been building a lot lately. I built it to test the scaling technique and try out some weird proportions. Originally it had a thinner less reptilian tail but I decided to go with something a bit more traditional. The black legs and tail section are there because I ran out of blue CCBS shells, but I think it actually works. Like a change in the pigmentation of the skin. The katana on the tail is supposed to be a sort of offensive adaptation, a sharp bone ridge or something. Anyway, thanks for taking a look! Your comments and criticism are very appreciated.

Bluecoat Ship ahoy! In response to the increased threat from pirates and redcoats alike, the ship builders of the home country of Bluecoat forces ordered a ship to match, or beat, the pirates feared Brick Bounty. This ship turned out to be the HMS Arcangel, which features six guns, three masts, a lifeboat, and opening captain's quarters with hideaway for valuable maps, charts and medical supplies. Fully Rigged, Two Square Sails on the Main 12B Okay, so the ship took a while to do: I wanted to take set 70413 Brick Bounty and make a non-pirate ship from it, and it took a month to do so. Also, the sails are Technic panels, so if you don't like that, you are out of luck. here is the Captain's quarters, with hideaway for secret maps, medical supplies, or just "sparking water' (read: alcohol) you don't want to share with anyone.
