Next Chapter: The Tomb of Dar Askelohn Aeldric and Voraal usually took a circular patrol around the outskirts of Vanhorn, but this time they decided to take a different route. They traveled straight out west, on an old and forgotten road. They came across an old, ruined, and abandoned house which seemingly belonged to a Citizen of Avalonia. Though it wasn't necessarily abandoned, for the remains off the owner laid in a corner. Voraal peeked down a deep, dark hole in the flooring. He suggested to Aeldric that they explored it, for it seemed deep, and as if it held secrets down below. More Angles Below: The hole in the flooring: And the forests: I tried out a couple of different techniques for mini-trees here. The triple round 1x1 brick, and the dark-brown telescope.

Windmill module: link Gatehouse module: link Market module: link City hall module: link Gardens module: link Palace module: link The city of Katoren is growing quickly and has already become a prominent city in Kaliphlin. It is well known for it's thriving marketplace, and elegant palace. See lots more pictures here: link Well we hope you've enjoyed our efforts, we certainly had fun creating this slice of Katoren

Residential building with a historic name "House with lions". On the first floor - salon on sale of extra aged cognacs independent producers, with a small patio and a cigar tasting room (in an era when it's not much condemned by society). On the upper floors - residential zone. The interiors in the process of elaboration.

Shop selling hand-made pasta, where all gourmets will be offered not only to buy but also to see the manufacturing process, and even taste. The owners - an Italian family living in the south-western city of Strasbourg in France.

This was an extremely fun build. I tilted the wood sections using ball joints, for the first time. The idea of the build was to create a wacky, and whimsical atmosphere. Hence the unusual colorscheme for the build. There's a full interior, and the elevator actually works. Also Amfridus has devised a bucket system whereby he procures water without leaving his home. Glorfindel's inventor friend, Gimcrack, was going to visit another inventor named Amfridus who lived in Avalonia. Glorfindel decided to accompany Gimcrack and see how the Mitgardian-Avalonian relations were faring after the recent crisis. Amfridus' home wasnt too far from the Mitgardian border, and they soon arrived at the winding path leading to Amfridus' tower and workshop: Amfridus, himself: His cave workshop: Bucket system, inside: See more pictures of the build here: link And see Gimcrack's house here: link C&C welcome

I've been following GoH for a while, and now I'm very excited to be joining Kaliphlin. Here's my character intro: Aymeri had grown up a desert nomad, but had always dreamed of being a knight. So when he was of age, he enlisted as a soldier in Katoren, hoping to one day win his spurs. He had been promoted quickly and now commanded a small group of soldiers. One of his missions was to capture two thieves that had been on a robbing spree in and around Katoren. Aymeri and his men managed to catch up with the two criminals as they attempted to rob a small farm outside the city: After capturing the crooks, Aymeri and his men started back to Katoren: After an hour's march, they reached a side gate of the city: Just inside the gate, several prominent members of Kaliphlin can be seen: Aymeri then continued to the the thieves' final destination: the Katoren jail. Next door is a cartographer's: Thanks for looking, any C&C welcome

Hello all. This is my first "real" post here on EB. A few days ago I started something a little out of the ordinary for me. For months I've been trying to model the American Suburban home. Always unsuccessfully for one main reason. Lack of parts... So I finally decided to have a go in LDD. Here are some pictures of what it looks like so far: Suburban home 1st floor WIP (1) by alexb420, on Flickr Suburban home 1st floor WIP (2) by alexb420, on Flickr Suburban home 1st floor WIP (3) by alexb420, on Flickr I'm running out of materials for flooring. What are some other flooring options? Feedback and constructive criticism is much appreciated!

Winter Village: Uni-kitty is com-ing, to town! As I was starting this build Unikitty came along and screamed, "That's MY house!!!" From that point on I felt like a snowball rolling down a hill. So, she moved in, added a dance floor, decorated for the holidays (Unikitty style), then threw a 'Welcome to my New Home' party. She couldn't wait to try out ice skating. While others from the North Pole and Winter Village are visiting, poor Larry is working again this year, this time DJing. In the living room, Unikitty has hung up her stocking. While on the top floor, she put in a dance floor, complete with disco ball. Inside visitors enjoy the treats Unikitty has laid out, while warming themselves at the fire. Only kids and Unikitty see nothing strange about ice cream in winter. Unikitty's 'Welcome to my New House' party

This is one of 4 micros I built as prizes for the Guild Creation category of the Summer Joust. This particular model was focused on the landscape of Rauor. Rauor is just a fictional land I made up, and tried to develop the culture and setting of with these 4 micro builds, the rest of which will be posted soon. If you'd like to see more details about the Summer Joust, check that out here: link. Thanks for looking, C&C appreciated

A replica of the solar porch on the front of my house. It's where all my LEGO MOCs have been photographed, so it has a special significance to my LEGO hobby: See more pictures on my website: http://www.brickbuilt.org/?p=3903 Thanks for looking, C&C appreciated.

Got 4 dark red profile bricks and just had to put them to some good use! This, by the way, is Guy's Uncle. Not quite sure what exactly he is doing in Weelond, but... here he is! I decided to do an SK style slide-out interior - pretty fun and remarkably easy! I'm on a roll! This pirate era stuff is fun! C&C welcome! This is my third free-build this month.

This was my second MOC, experimenting with a few techniques from Derfel Cadarn's amazing guide to building a medieval village. It's pretty simple and straightforward. C&C appreciated! Previously: Part 5 - The Last Place You'd Look "Malek, you traitorous viper! Siding with the resistance! I thought you had more loyalty the rightful ruler of Kaliphlin than this." "On the contrary, my loyalty is to the rightful rulers of Kaliphlin!" "Malek, what is going on here? Who is this?" "I'm a former friend and colleague of Malek here, but He has changed that. There seems to be nothing left to say, I'm afraid I have no choice but to carry out my duty to the King." He then charged at Malek, sword drawn, but the peasants, quickly countered his attack and disarmed the mummy officer. Previously: Part 3 Turning The Mark Now that they believed they had conclusive proof of Malek's treason, the Desert King authorized his execution. Since Malek was still abroad in Kaliphlin, an assassin was hired to finish him as quickly and quietly as possible. The assassin found Malek collecting taxes from vendors in a market, and positioned himself on the roof of a nearby house, tying up the lady who was sitting there. Gideon was walking along the bustling Market street, when he noticed a crossbow pointing out from behind one of the poles that held the flags. It was pointing right at the official just in front of him. With lightning reflexes, he dove at the official, knocking him to the side and out of danger for the moment. The ruckus drew Erudhalion's attention, and he quickly spotted the assassin. It appeared he wasn't the only one, as a formidable lady was already at the top of the stairs, and had her sword half-drawn. Realizing he had been spotted, the assassin turned and drew his sword, ready to fight. By now, the Captain of the guard had also spotted him, and was about to strike him down, but was too slow, as the woman had already disarmed the man. The guards quickly came, tied him up, and escorted him to the city jail. The official thanked Gideon, the Lady, and Erudhalion profusely for saving his life. The lady then offered to accompany him to a safe location in case any more attempts were made on his life. To be continued... Thanks to de Gothia for letting me put this build in Benoic! As usual on the farm, there’s much to be done: feeding, watering, and milking the goats, feeding the chickens, and most importantly: heading back to the house for some breakfast. Lots more pictures here: Link C&C very much appreciated

Here's my Phase 1 build for the storehouse category in Age of Mitgardia. I limited myself to an 8x8 base size for this build, and was mainly trying to make a realistic looking cellar entrance. Fruit cellars are commonly used in Mitgardia to store food, and other goods. Rats can become problematic, but it looks like this one's food stealing days are over: See more pictures here: link Comments and suggestions welcome

Hello everybody! This is my intro for my sigfig Ulrich von Koehler and his dog Bernd. Ulrich von Koehler was sitting in his dinner room planing the next step in aiding his country, Eslandola, to grow in power and prosperity. The next step was to settle on one of the two colonies that MCTC already had taken. This was not an easy task, so the decision had to be carefully chosen. Bernd, Ulrich's dog, was standing on the floor and was eager to start biting pieces of his recently received bone. This was an example of when Bernd don't wanted to be disturbed! There was some weapons hanging on the wall, because Ulrich thought it was best to be ready to defend yourself and anyone close in most situations. That was a good thing with Bernd, he was a superior watchdog, so Ulrich could relax and do his tasks untill Bernd started to bark! His parents had passed away awhile ago and it was a reason, apart from being eslandolan, why Ulrich had so much golden property in his house. Apart from his heritage Ulrich wasn't so rich, but his plan was to increase his wealth and prosperity in large numbers like a true eslandolan! He already had some crew and soon he would recieve his new merchant vessel! House of Ulrich von Koehler by Tobias Andersson, on Flickr On the wall you could find a painting of a ship. This wasn't just a ship, not a boat dissapering in the multitude of ships, no this was "The Golden Turtle"! From a time pretty long ago this vessel was one of the trading flagships of Eslandola and it was a property of Ulrich's grandfather's father, Walther von Koehler. Ulrich had been told a lot of stories about this ship and Walther. There were stories about Walther facing pirates on the sea, about shippings of enormous quantity and profit and stories about surviving storms so intense that an ordinary ship would be devoured in a blink of an eye. Walther is kind of a hero to Ulrich and in many ways he want to be more like Walther! House of Ulrich von Koehler by Tobias Andersson, on Flickr Ulrich von Koehler is glad for the privilege to be an eslandolan and he really wants to aid his country in a lot of ways! Extra pictures: House of Ulrich von Koehler by Tobias Andersson, on Flickr House of Ulrich von Koehler by Tobias Andersson, on Flickr I would be glad for your comments and constructive criticism :) I hope you enjoyed this intro!

Hello everyone! Here is my latest build. The riverbank cottage set in the country. The cottage is a mixture of several examples found all over the UK. I designed mine to be next to a river as opposed to the coast where many of this style cottage are to be found. This was just for scale purposes. I didn't want to build a beach/huge cliff beside it Anyway, I think this belongs in town as its not quite historic? a lot of these cottages were built in the late 1800's to early 1900's and are still in good condition to this day. I'll leave it up the Admins to decide if it needs moving! It was a chance for me to experiment with scenery, water and texture of which I enjoyed very much. All in all its taken a couple of months. The floors are removable for interior access, although due to the small sizes of the rooms, the furnishings are less interesting than my previous efforts. It's set sometime in the 50's just for a decorative era. Here are some pics; The rest can be found on my flickr stream here: http://www.flickr.co...656812@N04/sets Any comments or thoughts welcome!
