These two railroad Maintenance of Way (MOW) hi rail vehicles are modified from two different sources. The pickup truck on left is highly modified from the red vehicle in set 21354 (Twilight - The Cullen House) with an added camper shell of my own design, while the defect detector van is a slightly edited Brick Train Depot design which can be downloaded from that site for free from the bottom of this page. This is my take on the Crusher vehicle driven by the Roadkill faction in the Mad Max game. Using the chair piece for the fender flares was the initial inspiration, which also pays homage to 10200 Custom Car Garage. The exhausts are another prominent feature of the original design, so I'm happy I managed to come up with a relatively clean way to build them. Admittedly, the there are a few dubious connections, and a lot of the pieces are not available in Dark Red. Here is the prototype for reference:

Normally I would prefer building something really sturdy, as a result these models are always heavy and have a lot of redundant parts. This time I tried something new. Presenting my new MOC: a lightweight 6x6 pickup truck. This model is based on the Mercedes G63 AMG 6x6. It has a two-door cabin instead of the original four-door one, just to meet the definition of “Compact” in its name. It weights 1.2kg, and has around 1350 parts. I’m pretty satisfied with it given the fact that it’s a fully functional 6x6. How to make a lightweight yet reliable frame is a challenge. My solution is to have a unibody design, like most family sedans, instead of a body-on-frame structure, which commonly seen on off-road trucks. This means pillars need to help with sharing the load. The whole drivetrain is simple. All axles are live axles. Rear axles have multi-link suspensions. How to position those links is a big deal, misplacement will probably introduce unwanted wobbles. Considering the weakness of the universal joint, I didn’t put to much gear reduction into it, on the other hand, it has a relatively decent speed. Field test: With no diff lock, sometimes it struggles on rocks. But most of the time it can deal with less bumpy roads. More details: I will create instructions in a while. Enjoy. -
My second build for ABS Round 2.1 The seed part is the red bucket, which I used 19 times (once in another color) in this build, see if you can find them all! I have wanted to try some builds in the city theme for a while, and a fire truck offered some nice possibilities to use the seed part. Then I decided to add the actual fire station, and a smaller fire truck after coming up with some other ideas for the part. The build is complete on all sides, and even has a bit of interior. Some of you may be familiar with the Hob Rod, the project I was doing on and off throughout a few years. The idea was to pull a hot rod with some nice functions and details while keeping it in a ~35 stud size. Various other things and issues made it a long term project and I have no doubt this baby will be improved even further. Well, here's how it looks now. 37 studs long because of the exposed rolling chassis arms, uses Technic and System parts as you can see. Intended as a cruiser and salt flats racer - and a small tribute to the Kustom Kulture - it's based on the '30s trucks and features many details that won't let you forget about that. Raise Hob. Features: ► fake mountain V6 engine with moving pistons ► blower with chain-driven pulley (1:1.5 crankshaft-pulley ratio; 1:3.501 axle-pulley ratio) + Enderle-style bugcatcher + fake carburetor + external tachometer and oil pressure gauge ► working differential and transmission (2.334:1 crankshaft-axle ratio) ► coupled '30s style link steering connected to steering wheel and a HOG ► detailed cockpit with a steering wheel, dashboard, custom skull-shaped gear shifter and comfy channeled couch for two ► channeled and chopped body style with kustom roofline + functional bed with Moon tank ► classic radiator grille and "zoomie" exhausts, front tow bar and rear push bar and rear engine emergency shut-off lever ► locking suicide doors with internal handles and slanted edges + locking, chain-suspended bed gate ► exposed suicide front axle + wide, fake leaf spring-suspended rear axle, each wheel with fake drum brakes -
Hi guys! Today I finished another lowwww project along with Drift Van and Subaru Forester. Now it's Slammed JDM pickup. At this time, I was inspired to build a pickup Nissan Datsun (Nissan Hardbody) mid-90's in D21 body The model is based on rear-wheel drive chassis with independent suspension front and rear axle. Buggy motor is responsible for the nimble movements of pickup space, and servo motor helps to dodge all of a sudden in the way of obstacles. Controlled all so beloved by me, SBrick, and electrician feeds LiPo pack. With the receiver from LEGO model is unlikely to make friends, because he would kill her at first dumb on turn - very high speed, but not so on the reliability front end :) The design of the rear suspension allows the use of one buggy motor and a pair of L-Motors, which are also good model piles, given that the pickup weight is 750 grams. Hi, lovers of Lego! Today I want to show you my new 4x4 MOC - Nissan Datsun '1996 in D21 body. Specifications of MOC Model Lego Technic Nissan Datsun built on all-wheel drive platform, has a beam axle with unlocked differentials front and rear, steering - rack and pinion. The body and chassis are separate elements and are fastened to each other by 4 points. Opened doors, hood and door body. Electrics: LiPo unit XL motor on movement Servo motor - steering IrV2 - Remote control Just want to say that this story of this model, I did not finish and I want to continue it in the back of double cab body. It all began with the construction of low general pickup, its theme, you can see here on EB. By the summer I want to build a second pick-up and take over the full video on the outdoor. I do not really want to ride on the dirty snow right now.

This is my second review of an official Lego Technic set (the first one on the 42026 Black Champion Racer: ).I am reviewing the 42029 Lego Technic Customized Pickup Truck. Includes unboxing, speed build, overview, impressions, and more. This is my first time experimenting with blue screen/green screen. Please share your thoughts. Is this review significantly better than the review I did on the Black Champion Racer? Also, what do you suggest about this review? Any improvements in method / structure / etc. to be made? Well Guys, i finished my newest MOC,the well known red Pickup from GTA V Character Trevor Phillips.The Canis Bodhi might be one of the most iconic Character Cars from GTA V because it`s a unique Vehicle and it has an interesting little Feature mounted on the Grill. Yes,Trevor had some good Times with Mr. Rasberryjam so the little Bear has to come everywhere. I tried to recreate the Car as good as possible and even added some Gimmicks like a Gun, a Shovel (to dig Holes for Bikers) and an Axe for....well chopping Stuff to Pieces. I also tried some detailing under the Car like the Driveshaft and a Pair of Exhausts. To complete the Pickup,i also tried to make two Minifigs of Trevor himself and Nervous Ron. Here is a sneak peak of one of my biggest projects up to date: Project started with a new type of a gearbox, which uses only two toothgears at any time in order to transfer power from motors efficient to the wheels: Here are a few specs of the model: Length cca. 80cm when folded Width cca. 30cm Height cca. 25cm Weight cca. 4,5 cm Dual rear live axles in the back independent suspension in front 4 electrically controlled gears + 1 additional electro-pneumatically controlled gear Working towing arm in the back capable of lifting weights of over 1kg Dynamic lights All functions controlled by 3 Sbricks Currently we have snow here and I can't shoot a video as planned I will post more info as soon as I manage to take more photos and a video.

Fill 'er up! My latest build is a jump into the glory days of gas stations, when full service and free oil changes were the rule and the local station was a gathering place for neighbors. My brick-built gas station is inspired to the Shell one located in Tucson (Arizona) and it’s packed with every details you’d expect to find. It showcases an elegant Art Déco architecture completed with curved corners, a tower in the middle, a red outline all around the station and the inevitable Shell writing on top. The build is three in one: the diner on the left, the garage/workshop on the right and the fully-equipped store located in the middle of the building. A look at the back of the station reveals the three locations with many details and the different characters. Outside there are two period gas pump with a beautiful Lego shell on top under a curved canopy. All around you can find tanks, signs, tyres and other stuff. To complete the work I've built a red stepside pick-up truck, a tan Hot Rod and a reddish-brown roadster with some troubles (it's housed in the garage indeed). It was on my wishlist long since and finally I've found the time to built it as I had in my mind. I'm sorry for posting my gas station here with a little delay Thanks for stopping by. Hey Guys, Im gonna post my Progress on this Moc in this Topic. So stay tuned! Let´s start with some Specs: Chevrolet C10 1972 Pickup-Truck Suspension: The back Suspension, is pretty rare. Well i have not seen something like this before.. It's like a triangulated link axle Front Suspension is a simple Independent Suspension. The original has a 350cc V8 My moc will Feature: The same suspensions as many original Details as possible RC Here's the original car: Colour is not decided yet.. Progress on the cab, still much to do with that front P.S.: The headlights were pretty hard to do... Comments and Critism are appreciated! :D -

Hello everybody, This is my first post here, although I have been a frequent visitor for a while. This is the MOC that I have recently been working on - a 2014 Ford F-150. Features: - 4x4 drive through 2 XL motors -Steering through M motor (will be connected to steering wheel when finished) -Opening doors, tailgate, bed toolbox, and hood -Front winch -Full suspension -Front and rear lights Some pictures: The two front doors, the winch, and opening hood are all powered by an M motor run through a distribution transmission. The three functions are controlled by a servo motor: neutral position (shown in the picture) opens both doors simultaneously, rotating one direction operates the winch, and rotating the other direction will open the hood when it is finished. In the picture below you can see the driving rings of the transmission and the servo motor above it. For me, designing this has been the most fun and challenging part of the model, if any of you are particularly interested I could make a short video about it. The interior and the front end still need a lot of work as you can see. Additionally many exterior pieces around the cabin are not the desired color. I am hoping to get this finished in the next couple of weeks, at which point I will make a final video showing the functions. Of course any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This is my second large scale MOC (the first one was a dodge challenger that was not very well done imo and has already been destroyed for parts). Hope you guys like it! -
