Hello, I thought I'd share my creation, the Defender-class light corvette, with you guys! I had tried my hand at replicating the corvette in LEGO before news leaked of the official set and subsequently stopped improving my own design, hoping the TLG version would be as awesome as the Fury had been. Alas when the pictures finally leaked last week, I couldn't help but be disappointed. So I present to you now my own (finished) design; My favorite shot. The crew and view of the ramp and landing gear. It's a bit impractical but I really wanted to include a ramp for my figs, so the corvette sits a bit higher than I'd like. The landing gear itself also folds up neatly (forgot to take a picture of that). The pilot's seat can rotate so he can actually get out and take a nap when I'm not looking. The medical beds can slide out so the injured can be transported safely, or they would anyway if those damn troopers would stop watching TV and let them pass. A picture of the "airlock" hatch open. The floor slides out revealing sweet sweet death or maybe a space station airlock if they're lucky. The engines where the hardest for me to translate into LEGO, I'm quite happy with the final result. Maybe some trans blue dishes though. My creation's approximate dimensions are; 41 studs long (not counting laser cannon tips), 34 studs wide and 13 studs high (with landing gear folded up). It consists of 1222 (or 1226 once they update the parts list) parts, not including minifigs and weapons. You can download the "instructions" here. I've used normal red as a junk color so those bricks can be any color. Also if you're building it replace the yellow 1x4 tiles with the 1x4 light bley stud plates. Thanks for taking an interest, khatmorg, on Flickr

I recently found two relatively nice mechas where the creators were nice enough to share the instructions. They were both older creations and I'd like to see what they made after ball joints became more readily available. Who are the top MOC creators to pay attention to, especially when newer parts are available? The finest minifigure scale Gundam RX-78-2 I've seen was GYUTA's.

So, a few years ago I was obsessed with trying to create my own Jurassic Park out of LEGO. It stalled, and I eventually broke up what I'd built (A Jeep, the gates, and this - the brick-built dinos were already scrapped) for parts. The Ford Explorer was the only one I managed to take a decent photo of before breaking it up. Yeah, some of the decal work was cheated with construction paper. Bite me. I managed to make it so that you could cram four people into it.

This '8x8 Vingnette' concept is based on the #40120 Valentine's Day Dinner and #40121 Painting Easter Eggs. It's a great way to display minifigures and show different scenes. This model is based on Stephen's iconic studio from 'The Brick Show.' It features all the main details such as the minifigure wall, brown desk with a LEGO Apple, table with a PC monitor, spinning chair, LEGO City boxes on the floor, white storage unit with a UCS Sandcrawler and two Brick Show stickers. The Stephen minifigure needs printing of 'The Brick Show' logo as well as on the two 'Flat Tile 1x2.' It's not necessary but I feel the computer monitor should have a sticker to show the screen and the LEGO City box. Any other graphics will take away the charm of this '8x8 Vingnette' concept. Would you purchase this kit and realistically how much would you pay if the torso printed and the stickers? I would say it would cost £15-£20 without the figures and stickers; if those are included I would increase the price to £20-£25. Let me know and if it get's enough requests at those prices I may join with 'The Brick Show' once again and sell them as kits :) I really hope you enjoyed this in MOC; feedback and criticism is much appreciated. A big thanks to Jason who took notice and contacted me for this to potentially become a product at their store. When redesigning it I had to make it stable and strong enough as well as making it aerodynamic, the original design was too blocky. I'm quite confident that is is the best outcome for a mini Milano spaceship design. I hope you enjoy it too. I really hope you enjoyed this MOC and plan to purchase one; feedback and criticism is much appreciated. Available to purchase at: TheBrickShowShop.com Adeel

Last week I bought two 75078 Imperial Troop Transports, because one can never have too many stormtroopers. I wasn't too pleased with the vehicle build and decided to rebuild the two of them into one transport, more faithful to the series/comics/etc. I managed to get close enough using only, 5 or so extra parts, 4 of which are 2x8 slopes, and one of which is a 6x16 plate that it's all built on. There are a few unused parts left over. To be more accurate it's missing the front guns and rear turret, however I will probably revise it to add them. The interior can hold about 5 figures in awkward seating positions, and there's no interior details at the moment. The lower half of the doors are 1x2 bricks which need to be taken out for the 'door' to be fully open. Probably will change that for a full door built out of plates on a hinge.

As first preparation for a Technic MOC of the famous Fokker Dr. I, I tried to make the most compact 8-cylinder radial engine (I know, it should be 9-cylinders...) See attached the solution I came up with, but with this size the model would still be 100 studs long/wide and this a bit too big to my liking after the huge Cadillac. If anybody has a solution for a working 8-cylinder that is smaller then this, please let me know. This one does howvever work quite nice also at high speeds (~1500 RPM) Instructions can be found on rebrickable: http://www.rebrickab...aircraft-engine

The Luctor is back! And it's back with a bang hitched to it. A €600, 2.5kg, 2500pcs, one year build-time bang. And the video is on YouTube. Check out a more elaborate review on http://www.mocpages....moc.php/414168. To give you a hint: this is the first ever forage wagon made out of Lego bricks that can actually pick up grass and dispose it when the cargo is full. It took over one year to build, the pickup system for the grass alone cost me a full-time week! A picture says more than a thousand words, click here to see them all on brickshelf: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=556822 Watch the video here: More about the Luctor itself (this video has already sometime ago been posted here)

Activity- Exploration. Location- A05 Yallorn II Previously, Mark of Orion had helped in the occupation of Barnius and was disgruntled with his task of constructing a "very complex" sensor array... After complaining explaining to his superior officer, Second Branch Executive Ninja Nin, that he was more interested in exploring than assembling equipment, Mark was given a different mission on MANTIS' next target, Yallorn II. Mark was very pleased with the change of position, now he was free to wander around and explore an entirely new planet! Yallorn II was a particularly interesting place. Mark had decided to explore the southern sector along the coast. To his surprise, the normal earth tones of the soil gave way to mud of a deep blue color with small plateaus of clay on which vegetation abounded. Mark deduced that the tide was out, and the foliage in this vicinity was not capable of growing below the waterline. Mark's peaceful walk was interrupted by by his radio ringtone... "Mark here, what's up?" "Hey Mark, this is John." "Hey John! How's the view in your sector?" "Pretty good, But that's not why I'm calling..." "Oh?" "Yeah, my scanner says my area is clear, but that there is some unidentified lifeform activity near you. See anything?" Mark took a quick look around. "I don't see anything near, maybe there's something underground... I can see there being clams or something in this mud?" "Heh, probably nothing serious, just thought I'd call and check." "All right, much appreciated, John!" "Okay, see ya later!" "Later! Bye!" (Click) After hanging up with his co-worker, Mark reflected on the dangers of being too absorbed in the scenery. "Hmm, I should check my scanner more often, something big and ugly could creep up on me without me even knowing!" "The planet description did say "moderate alien activity" and..." The Ghastly Galloping Garctaloid of Yallorn II ! by Mark E., on Flickr Suddenly, Mark looked over his shoulder and realized that a huge alien had snuck up behind him!! "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!" The ferocious alien bellowed and screeched as it galloped towards Mark! "GROGGLAAK!! SKREEEHHKK!! GROGGHLAAKK!!" Mark wasn't about to let himself get gobbled up! He quickly raised his MANTIS death ray blaster and fired into the belly of the beast! The enormous creature screeched out ten times louder than before! But the MANTIS death ray blaster is quite effective on most fleshly beings... The monster collapsed into a pile of squirming dismembered tentacles as it's gnashing mouth slowly stopped chomping in rage. Mark, in a rush of adrenaline and exuberance, dashed towards the dying creature and grabbed one of the limb-like tentacles. "What a monstrous brute! You could've been so useful to MANTIS! To bad there's no stun setting on my death ray blaster..." Mark, still clutching the limb, turned and continued on his exploration. "But all is not lost! I'm sure Big Sal or one of our other scientists will be able to concoct something absolutely terrifying with your DNA sample!" Yes, Mark was beginning to enjoy this exciting job! To Be Continued!

Hello all again, last time I showed you my first ship in LDD after the "Come back". After that I started on another ship, this time I wanted to make a smaller and try to add some curve into it. I think this is a huge improvement in such a short time that I build this. The ship itself took some time to finish as my wife gave a birth to our son, so the project was in dry dock´s for a while. But now I have finished it, added some small details into it and ready to show it. Comments and Critism are more than welcome. Cutter 10A More Pictures: Captain Becker EDIT: Added more pictures

This '8x8 Vignette' concept started with 'The Dark Knight - Interrogation Scene' vignette, which as based on the #40120 Valentine's Day Dinner and #40121 Painting Easter Eggs. This is loosely base on the #76005 Daily Bugle Showdown set. I didn't want to have the set displayed but the top floor I had to keep as it was the highlight if the set. I have changed the design of the the office and the exterior of the top floor and kept is simple and small as possible as it could be whilst using all the cool stickers used in the building. Hello. When I started this MOC I didn'n know if it will be a wolf, a wargo, a dog or a lizzard. I know it could be better but It's the first time I build an animal so I'm satisfied with the final result. When I finished the beast i found that I don't have a minifig that matches the model so I've improvised with the rider. This is the result. Hello fellow AFOLs and Star Wars fans, I recently built my first MOC since I came back to the hobby after a very long absence I really like the Shadow Trooper Minifugures and so I decided to build a larger, hopefully improved , version of the speeder from the battle pack. I used mostly the parts from two battle packs but of course I had to use additional parts to ensure the "structural integrity". I also added few non structural parts like the antennas and forward blaster cannons. I don't have many parts available right now and it was not easy to find the parts I need and I had to work with the limited pieces I had but at least I can confirm the speeder is sturdy enough to be even used for play I named the speeder "Low Altitude-Infiltration Vehicle" In addition to the image I attached to this post ( I hope I did things right and the image shows up) you can find more detailed (and in higher resolution) images on my blog (link below) "Low Altitude-Infiltration Vehicle" aka LA-IV I know this is a very small and modest project. Nothing compared to the outstanding works I see around the forum but I'm happy to have finally built a MOC after my absence. Comments and feedback are highly appreciated. This is my first MOC in, well, more than 10 years so any advice would really help me, so I can improve. Thank you very much May the Brick be with You

Hello... After some time away from LEGO... I created something I had designed a long time ago in paper using digital bricks. This is a concept I used for a script i sent to darkhorse when the LEGACY comics were out. In that script the Corellian armada had become one of the most powerful fleets in the galaxy and had incorporated in their cruisers, technology from the lost galaxy gun... SO those big guns you see on each side are supposed to shoot hyperspace energy shells, turning the ship into a deadlier vessel than the death star :D Of course, that is only a tale I made up. But I would really like to see one such ship in the new STAR WARS movies. Even if it is not a cruiser it can be adapted to become a ship for a crew of three or four :D That's how many minifigs fit inside :D Hope you like it and let me know your thoughts. Cheers

This is Brez (II), the oldest sister alive of the legendary Xian bounty hunter squad called Breznikova Triplets (formerly Quartet). She is Selakhian, being same species of Pridak the Bloody. Their current mission is to liquidate Purifier, who supposedly killeds the olders sister. They are Killjoy's allies. The "real life" backstory (Why she is almost like Breez???) can be found on Cyclopic Bricks with more photos and stuff. Enjoy.

Activity - Exploration. Location - Guinevere - A06 The overall strategy of MANTIS™ HQ was being revealed with each planet its associates occupied. They had dashed a straight line to Guinevere, a humble volcanic desert planet with one huge attraction to explorers and conquerors alike, GOLD. Yes, mighty MANTIS™ needed gold. And it seemed that a rival corporation, Kawashita, needed gold too, as they had also made a beeline to planet A06! Previously, Mark of Orion had successfully survived a harrowing mission on Yallorn II. As a reward for his brave service in shooting a dangerous pest, he was transferred to the First Branch Division Exploration Team. Captain Brutus checked the sight on his MANTIS™ Death Ray Blaster© "So, Spikes, what do you think of the new transfers?" Spikes took a long sip from his glowing flask. "Hard to say Brutus, If they survive this mission they should be able to handle anything!" "You got THAT right. Lew is from Special Forces, he should be ok. Malcolm is a newbie and he probably won't be ok... What about this Mark guy? His resume said "extensive interstellar piracy experience"! I think he'll fit right in!" Spikes spat out his second sip. PHHIFF! "Cough-cough"... "Wait, Mark? As in, Orion?" "Yeah, you heard of 'im?" "Yes! I had the misfortune to run into him and his ship on a trader just off of Rallawok III a few years back!" Brutus raised his only eyebrow. A bionic implant rested in the socket of the other eye. "What happened?!" Spikes grinned as he wiped the green liquid from his stubbled mouth. "Don't ask. Just know if he's with us, we should do well." Brutus inspected his new crew with his single critical eye. "Looking right, rough, and ready, men!... Wait a second! Lew, that flame-job decal on your helmet is NOT up to regulation..." Lew looked furious. "SO?!?" Brutus grinned. "Haha! Right answer! I like a brave trooper! You can keep it, Lew! All right troops, grab what gear you want! Don't carry more than you need!" The MANTIS™ operatives quickly picked out their favorite weapons and scanners. Lew and Malcolm snatched some Phasers. Mark grabbed his favorite MANTIS™ Death Ray Blaster© and Bert picked up a long-range handheld scanner. Bert looked around nervously. "Uh, hey. You didn't taste anything weird in the cafeteria lunch yesterday, did you?" Mark didn't look surprised. "Nope, I don't usually eat at the cafeteria..." "Well I haven't felt right since! I think it was those maggots." "That's why I don't usually eat at the cafeteria..." Brutus bellowed in his deep scratchy voice. "Ok, guys gather 'round! We're gonna have a little "pep-talk"!" "Ok, As you know, Kawashita is just as interested in this planet as we are. They could potentially have drones, ground troops, and their famous battle mechs on the surface already..." If you see ANYTHING with different corporate colors than ours, shoot first and ask questions later. I'm sure they will be doing the same. Unless you are totally outgunned, in which case, retreat as fast as possible. Get in, find gold, and get out! Understood?!" Brutus nodded to Spikes. "Open the door!" The armored visor on Brutus' helmet snapped shut. "And remember, DON'T GET KILLED! The entire previous crew DID! Let's go!" With that stirring speech, Brutus leapt out the open doorway! The entire crew (aside from Spikes) followed suit. Mark of Orion was beginning to wonder what he had gotten into... To Be Continued! (Begin commentary) Man! This AG stuff is addicting! Really enjoying this purposeful and exciting foray into the sci-fi genre! Some of you avid Top Gear fans out there may remember the episode in which Jeremy Clarkson tested the Alfa Romeo 8C while answering the question “Can a car ever be considered art?”His definition of art was that it must serve no other purpose other than to look good. He ended the episode by saying that yes a car can be art as the Alfa Romeo 8C looks absolutely stunning, yet it isn’t the best car out there. So the question is, can a Lego Technic car be considered art? Yes, it can. Meet Dirk Klijn’s Mclaren MP4 12C, a model designed with looks as a priority over functions. (larger versions of pictures can be found on my Bricksafe) When I first saw this car I was immediately amazed by it. All the gaps were filled in and the model looked incredibly realistic. As soon as the instructions were released I had to start gathering parts. It took me several months to gather all the parts, but I finally finished it and decided to write a review of this amazing model. The Build An interesting feature of this model is that it is built in a modular fashion. This means the model is built in sections and in theory should be easy to put together and take apart. More about that later. The build starts, as with most models, with the chassis. The chassis is one of the best I have seen. It is built starting with the middle section and then moves onto the axles. Other details are added and you have a complete chassis. Honestly I think I could just display the chassis by itself, as it looks stellar with a lot of details such as the engine bay and exhaust system. The model has working suspension, steering, and a working 4 speed gearbox with a linkage system. The gear box doesn’t work a lot of the time as the linkages cannot transfer enough force to engage a gear. I also had to add a half stud of length to one of my linkages in order for it to reach the gearbox lever properly. It’s a 3+R gearbox, but it’s not of much use in this model as the view to the engine pistons is obscured and the aforementioned linkage problems make it difficult to shift. Aside from that, the steering and suspension work flawlessly. Steering is transferred by CV joints to the dashboard, where a 14T gear connects to it and is geared to the steering wheel. The steering module is an absolute pain to connect to the front axle as one has to connect the CV joints to the dashboard while mounting it at the same time. It took me a good 20 minutes along with a few select words, for this module to finally get attached properly. I recommend partially disassembling the dashboard and attaching it to the chassis one part at a time as it makes it easier for the axles to connect to the dashboard. Also off topic, but check if your CV joints have a strong connection. Mine had weakened over time, and once I finally attached the dashboard, I tried to steer and the light gray part of the joint completely popped out of the model, and I had to replace it. The model’s suspension requires you to disassemble some 7.5L hard shock absorbers, which can be a bit difficult at first. Along with the shock absorbers, the model uses many other illegal techniques, which I will also cover later. Overall, one of the best chassis designs that I’ve seen in terms of looks, but a few parts can be a bit tricky, the shock absorbers must be disassembled, and the gearbox is not very good due to the linkage system. The build then moves onto the body, which is far more difficult compared to the chassis due to it not being fully strengthened until the whole module is almost done. I personally recommend adding a couple beams here and there to keep it stable while building, and then take them off when you’re finished. The body starts with the rear end and moves to the front. I won’t spoil too much about the building process, but there are some very interesting connections used to get all these angles. Many parts are mounted on only one pin or stud, which sacrifices rigidity for a better angle. The doors are opened using ball joints, which I always considered Bionicle type pieces, but it is quite a nice mechanism ; however, they don’t sit perfectly flush with the body unless they are forced a bit. Also they are quite heavy and are prone to breaking if not opened properly. Once the main body is finished the build moves on to the front fascia. This is possibly the most delicate area of the model and many illegal and weak connections are used to keep it together. The front grille is entirely made up of tiles attached to clips. This technique is now legal only with 1x1 tiles, but with other parts it doesn’t work. One of my 1x1 clip pieces actually broke after repeatedly reattaching the tile to it. Despite all this, I think the front looks absolutely beautiful. The grille is one of my favorite parts of this car and it really just looks absolutely fantastic. The rest of the front looks great and I especially like the panels behind the headlights as they are slightly angled outwards. Finally, the front is attached to the chassis and with a few more pieces here and there, the car is complete; however, when I attached the front of the car, the front suspension promptly collapsed. Dirk recommended adding a half bush to it to make it stiffer, but I didn’t implement this change as I didn’t want to disassemble part of the model; however, I recommend that anyone building this model implement this change while building the front axle in order to avoid this problem later. Also my doors collided with the front area, so I moved a couple pieces back one stud. Final Model After 3 days of building I was finally done. At this point I’ll let the pictures do the talking. This car's looks never cease to amaze me . I gotta say, Dirk absolutely nailed the looks on this model, especially the rear area Impressions (taking a leaf out of Sariel's reviews here, all credit for this idea goes to him) The model is a little bigger than a 1:10 Technic supercar, due to its body shape and building style. The model itself is absolutely stunning, but the illegal and weak connections quickly catch up as it is one of the most delicate models I've ever built. You think UCS, sculptures, and other display models are delicate? Forget them all. If you hold this model the wrong way, a few pieces are guaranteed to fall off. It took me a few tries and many pieces falling to find the right way to hold this model. Another problem is that you have to be very careful reassembling it as a little too much force and bam another piece from somewhere else falls out. Heck just during my photoshoot, I tried to shift the model around, and this happened I already discussed the door problems, but the wheels on this model are a massive problem. Here's the problem: Every single wheel is connected with a 3 axle connected to a Technic disc. The disc is connected to the wheel with a couple pins. The main problem is that the 3 axle simply cannot support the weight this wheel very well. Most Technic models use 8070 or 42000 hubs so this isn't really a problem for them. When you hold this model in the air, the wheels actually sag downward like this (its a bit exaggerated, but this is the best pic I could find) But that's ok as this model should not be held in the air, its a car not a plane. The problem with the wheel is that since the connection is so weak if you shift the models weight to the side to fix something, the wheels will slightly bend and can easily pop off. These are a pain to fix. Because of its delicacy I'm afraid to use the technical features of this model as I'm afraid I'll break something. Instead I leave it on my shelf and simply admire it like it is a fine piece of art. To answer our earlier question, yes a Technic car can be art as evidenced by this model. It looks wonderful, yet should be admired from a distance due to its fragility. Thus it only serves the purpose of looking good and I am absolutely ok with that Conclusion Build- 9.5/10 Very entertaining/frustrating build, and it is definitely not for a novice builder or for the faint of heart due to its illegal connections and fragility. Also the spring disassembly might be frowned upon by other builders Looks- 10/10 This car honestly looks like nothing else I've ever seen. I've been on this forum for almost 3 years and this car has to be one of the best looking creations that I've ever seen. Even the chassis has amazing attention to detail and looks just like the real thing. Parts Availability- 8.5/10 This MOC has about 2550 pieces and most are relatively easy to get; however, there are a few that are a bit of a pain and I'll list them for any other builders wanting to build this car: 3 16L red flex axles, 2 11L red flex axles(These aren't visible so could be replaced), 2 toggle joint connectors in red(Not rare but very uncommon nowadays), Steering rack(This isn't visible so could be replaced), Steering arms(These aren't visible so could be replaced I used light grey instead of black), and wheel covers( i replaced mine with brickbuilt ones and those look fine to me). I started off with 800 of the pieces and it cost me a little under $200 so not bad for a MOC of this size. Playability- 5/10 Sorry, but this has to be the weakest point of this MOC. Illegal and weak connections make this a very delicate model and I'm honestly afraid to touch it. The doors work well mostly, the steering feels very nice, it has a nice engine access hatch, and if you're daring you can try disassembling it into its modular components. Due to its delicacy I'm very afraid to even try disassembling it, and even though the modularity is nice, it isn't that easy to disassemble it. The gearbox linkages also aren't the best Instructions- 10/10 The instructions look great and are very well done. The steps are clear and some text reminders are given along the way to help you out. $15 is also a reasonable price Overall 43/50 It lost points for rigidity and parts availability, but it is honestly one of the best things I've ever seen and built. Honestly after i built it I was considering disassembling it and building some other supercar as I didn't like the spring dis-assembly and weakness, but every time I looked at it..... I forgave it for all its flaws. Its as good as any real piece of art out there IMO and is definitely going to be a permanent member of my collection. I highly recommend all of you build this model or just look through the instructions as it is so interesting. I would also like to nominate this MOC for the Hall of Fame as it truly deserves it Thanks for reading this review and please give me feedback so I can improve for my next review

EDIT #2~ Here is my updated Challenge 1 entry! A Desert Butte on Guinevere. 20x20 studs, unedited and no figs. Not exactly superior to my larger scene/story below, but it's the best I could do in 30 minutes! Below is a freebuild based on my previous build, which would not qualify for the challenge (And I do not want to delete it!). Please do not consider it in judging. Begin A06 Freebuild- AG Challenge 1 by Mark E., on Flickr The pristine desert landscape of Guinevere. Only erosion and wind has disturbed these majestic canyons. Until now that is...... When we last left Mark of Orion, he had just jumped from a MANTIS™ dropship onto the surface of Guinevere. Upon contact, the MANTIS™ associates had divided into two teams, one led by Captain Brutus, and the other by Mark. Malcolm strode along with an air of pompous self-importance. "I don't understand why you went back to the ship once you heard we had to split up! What's the deal? Are you afraid of going off on your own?" Mark rolled his eyes. "I don't want to take the risk of walking blind. I had a near-death experience with a 20 foot alien on my last mission and I'm only alive now because a friend of mine was paying attention to the scanner. I'm not so stupid that I can't learn a lesson..." Malcolm grinned like a baked possum. "You were a space pirate or something weren't you?" Mark nodded and continued to scan the rock formations. "Yeah, something like that." Malcolm plodded along after Mark, now oblivious to his surroundings. "You must have not been a very good one if they caught you..." Mark's brow wrinkled. And it was only his solemn duty to MANTIS™ that prevented his teaching insolent Malcolm firsthand the hazardous effects of a certain MANTIS™ Death Ray Blaster© he had strapped to his back. "Avoiding the law is like a marathon, the run is long, but there is a definite end." Malcolm laughed. "Brain over brawn, dude! It's smarts that count in the corporate world." Mark sighed. This was going to be a tiresome mission. "A little physical competence never hurts. Speaking of which, are you covering those cliffs? My scanner reads no lifeforms but something or someone could be cloaked." Malcolm waved his hand as if shooing a fly away. "Relax, man, there's nothing out here! Brutus just likes some drama. There's absolutely nothing to worry abou...(GASP) LOOK OUT!!!!" Malcolm had glanced up at the cliff in question and was horrified by the sight of three armored Kawashita special forces agents! He quickly raised his hand phaser to fire at the enemy! But alas, he was too late! With a bright flash, a nano beam from the Kawashita special forces agent vaporized poor Malcolm on the spot! BRRZAAKKK!!! *Pooof* As soon as Mark heard the shot, he dropped his scanner, drew his MANTIS™ Death Ray Blaster©, and dove towards the canyon wall in one quick motion. He was none too soon! Another nano beam hit the spot Mark was standing milliseconds before! Mark snapped up against the rock wall, blaster ready, and listened for the enemy. He didn't get a chance to see where they were. It wasn't a minute before a taunting voice echoed across the valley. "Come out, come out, wherever you are! Mwahaha!" Another Kawashitan voice chimed in. "Don't worry, Zeloot. He won't get away. This is like shooting a fish in a barrel!" Mark began to analyze his situation as he noticed the small pile of ash where Malcolm stood a minute ago... With the help of a soaring pulse and a rush of adrenaline, a clever plan for survival sprung to mind. The ex-space pirate carefully drew out a small capsule that he had been keeping in his spacesuit. Mark mused to himself, they probably haven't seen this in Kawashita before... Without further thought, Mark threw the small cylinder up towards the jeering voices. The Kawashian special forces anticipated a conventional method of attack. "HAND GRENADE! QUICK, FIRE!" Before they could fire, however, the "hand grenade" let out a powerful electron pulse which promptly zapped the nano beam rifles of Mark's foes! ...Immediately rendering their weapon battery cells useless! Mark didn't wish to let his enemies recover from their shock, and so fired up his Awesomnium Powered Jetpack! Mark now glared eye to eye with the helpless Kawashita employees as he cocked his MANTIS™ Death Ray Blaster© four feet from their faces! "You were SAYING?!?!?!" To Be Continued! (Begin commentary) No hard feelings to my dark red friends! Clearly a truce is in your best interests since you are technologically inept in combat. Here are a few shots on a plain background for those who prefer them! Enjoy! The Dire Deserts of Death. by Mark E., on Flickr EDIT* I now realize I didn't read the rules. Shucks! Unless I can find time to fix this consider this a freebuild.
