Hiya! Here is another Star Wars Battle Mech. This is loosely based on the Bignicle Frame by king_nack on Insta. Whilst doing some sorting I came across a minifig space armour with shoulder protection (part 72326). Initially I thought it would make a cool nose for a spaceship but one thing led to another and it ended up growing into a stormtrooper helmet instead. Minifig ski goggles are jammed in with a rubber band to help shape the shark mouth air vents while the eye assembly is cramped into position as well. Clips and bars hold it all together. I tried to I tried to keep the paneling as tight as I could in order to give him an athletic vibe. This meant that a lot of the frame is visible, especially around the hips but I felt it struck a good balance. Stability is a little tricky due to the narrow hips supporting the weight of the torso and shoulders but once you get positioning right he’s pretty solid. The Imperial Pizza Party was displayed at Brickvention '26 in January but the E11 stood by his side with stock extended to increase overall stability as protection from errant fingers. Hope you like it!

I have been in a process where I have sorted through and assembled +3000 minifigures and I have noticed something: I have noticed a difference or perhaps a "new" sub-variant in the old yellow heads with the solid stud and drawn face. I have tried to photograph it - sorry about the poor quality. The one I am talking about is the right one, where the "jawline" (bottom curvature) are less rounded than the normal 1978-1989 heads, making them more "square". They are quite easy to spot in a cluster of mixed solid heads. To give an idea about the "rarity": Out of the around 3000 heads I sorted, I found around 250 yellow heads with a solid stud. Of those were half "solid plains" (no face) and the other half "solids with face". And out of these "solids with face" were about 20, these "solid squares". They are marked similarly to the normal "solid with face" (same type font on top and same markings inside). They seem to come with two different types of printings - thick and thin face pattern - similar to the normal "solid with face". I have been unable to find any info regarding these heads and I have also been unable to find them on Bricklink. Does anybody have any information where these were used or for how long?

Hello everyone. I am here to present one of my creations: The central perk coffee of the serie "Friends". Being fan of this series for several years, I found interesting the idea of creating this set knowing that no proposal of the central perk has been proposed to date. Friends being a cult and timeless series has attracted millions of fans, as well as BigBang Theory, Ghostbuster and Back to the Future, this set would complement a long series of Lego on movies and TV series. Phoebe behind her microphone and singing her famous song "SMELLY CAT" Gunther the manager of the central perk. He always fantasizes about getting married with Rachel For this, I propose my project on the official website lego ideas. Currently I have more than 3150 supporters and hope to reach the next 10000 to have a chance that my idea is selected. If you find the idea great, do not hesitate to support this creation and also left me a comment to know what you think :) Thanks to all https://ideas.lego.com/projects/156030

The Elf-Witch Cottage In the depths of the enchanted woods, where reality and fantasy meet, an elf-witch has lived since forever. Nobody knows her name or her exact age, maybe 100, maybe 1000 years, but it doesn't matter, she's part of the woods she lives in now. She's always busy with her magic potions and her studies… fascinated by nature's incredible colors and shapes, she keeps on living in her house, away from the rest of the world. I've always been fascinated by nature, by its colors, and by the fantasy universe. In this project I tried to put it all together, using unusual parts and colors that I'd underestimated before. I'm very satisfied with the result. You can look at more pictures here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/vedosololego/albums/72157682099871646 Or You can support on LEGO Ideas here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/172038 Thank You

Round 7 is over and won by the HIPPIE who was close followed by the Kendo Fighter. Now on to round 8. Rules are simple: pick your favourite minifigure among the one you see. This is round 8, we'll go through many rounds before stating the best collectible minifigure ever... but I believe it will be funny! Notes: minifigures are selected randomly. Only one minifigure goes to the next stage. All 384 collectibles released so far are present. 384 / 6 = 64, only 64 will survive the first round. I will tell the winner when going with round 9 and so on.

Hi, I have two very rare developer brick that I'm currently selling on eBay. These bricks are only given to members of Traveler's Tales after a project is complete and will never be sold commercially. They have never been displayed since I received them. These are really hard to get a hold of and a lot of the staff that worked on these titles will never part with them. They'd make a great collectors item. Han Solo: [snap] Ultron: [snap]

Set 75158 (Rebels Combat Frigate) is available at Toys R Us since yesterday, and here in Germany, I even got roughly 15% off the standard retail price of 119 EUR. So I bought two for roundabout 200 EUR, which is a fair price in my opinion. But let's get right to the meat of this topic - the long awaited REBELS-version of Ahsoka in minifig form. I'm a fan of REBELS, Ahsoka has long since become my favorite Star Wars character, and I'm a fan of Lego, so what's not to love? For starters, one of the two Ahsoka minifigs I got has perfect printing - crisp, no smear, only the smost minimal hint of offset, if at all. That makes me happy. The headpiece is made from the slightly flexible, rubbery material, but it has no flash and no visible mould line. That's good. So, how well does the headpiece look as a representation of the character from the show? Much, much better than I initially suspected. The shape of the montrals (the horns) is near perfect for Ahsoka, bending back and outwards. The wavy blue stripe-pattern is done very well in my eyes, and contributes a lot to the headpiece looking right. The black outline around the red and gold print representing the tiara could be a bit more thin, but it doesn't ruin the headpiece. All in all, yes, a custom headpiece specifically for Ahsoka would be the most preferred solution, but what we get here represents the character very well in Lego-form. I wished the lightsaber handles would be metallic silver. Do these parts exist in chrome or metallic silver? If yes, I should get two! As for the lightsaber blades, these are blue, but the blue is more pastel, or crystaline than the blue lightsaber blades we know from Lego. They are pretty much the same as the lightsaber blades in the Ahsoka/Vader action figure set from Hasbro, but the plastic used is much better. So I give them a pass. The graphic designers at Lego did an excellent job at capturing Ahsoka's face and her expressions. I also like the blue eyes (as with Hera's green eyes), because they are pretty vibrant in the show, so the standard black eyes with white highlight would have looked a bit bland. Notice how crisp and white the markings in her face are, even though they are printed on a fairly dark surface. This has been accomplished by two layers of printing, as can bee seen on the angry face of the second minifigure I got where the two layers are a bit offset. In closing, this minifigure-version of Ahsoka is a very good representation of the character in Lego form. It could be better, yes, but that being said, it is a very beautiful minifig, and the complaints I have are nitpicky at best and overall I'm very happy with it. What do you say - feel free to comment, agree or disagree.

I am attempting to create a 18th century French soldiers (i.e. From French and Indian war or American Revolution) and this is what I was able to come up with. I was hoping to find a template for light gray coat but was unable to. From most images I've seen the French wore gray in the French and Indian war and white after. But based on military records the coat of the period was generally a white or off white. The decals were printed by http://www.saber-scorpion.com/shop Feel free to provide some feedback. Thanks.

Whilst ive recently been taking a break from building, here is a little something i wanna throw in just cause i found some time for this: Bugatti Chiron Its going to be an SC Set next year, so i was inspired to make one in my own scale of 1/42. 6 studs wide = 2m (real data wikipedia 2,04 m) 13,5 studs long = 4,6 m (real data wikipedia 4,5 m ) 3,2 vertical studs high = 1,1 m (real data wikipedia 1,2 m) Minifig is 170 cm high (average human height male + female sizes due to wikipedia) So, i got very close to the real size proportions this time ;) Its a bit lower than it would need to be, but since the tires are a tiny bit smaller than "large rims", it helps keep the wheels looking a little bit bigger! what do you think? critique and feedback welcome! BREAKING NEWS! LEGO TO GO INTO THE REAL ESTATE MARKET The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr The world-famous Danish Company known for its toys and highly sophisticated interlockable brick systems took the plunge into the real estate market with a new type of prefabricated house targeted to AFOLs (acronym for ‘adult fan of LEGO’). The standard model in red, is three-storey connected by elegant stairs, features wooden floors, large windows across the whole rear of the house, a amazing Wurlitzer Jukebox, and even a glass display sitting in between the ground and 1st floor hosting a UCS Millenium Falcon in it (included in the price). The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Now on the layout of the various floors: The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Ground floor will have a Brick Room, where you can sort your bricks, a work bench with a brick separator, a personal computer and some cupboards to store your parts. The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr First floor will have a lovely living room with crystal displays, to showcase your favourite sets and custom creations to AFOL friends while listening music playing in the Jukebox. The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Second floor will have a big table to host a city diorama (included in each house, but you can customize to your liking) and practise before taking your stuff to events. A manhole will also lead you to the attic to blow the cobwebs away and, who knows, sport a new IDEAS creation! This whole house will be just 1590 pieces including furniture! The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr You may ask yourselves: ‘No bathroom? A bed? Kitchen?’ Nothing to worry about, a hardcore AFOL doesn’t need any of these and even so there will be some other modular building next to this one where you would seek help. As we said, the model will be of 1590 pieces. Just because you can’t split it like conventional modular buildings, it will have hinges to open the rear all in one piece. The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr All floor can be pulled out to ease playability and to make changes to the layout. This innovative modular building fits to any other existing LEGO products, and gives a touch of color to your city theme. The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Just try now to visualize it the real word, or your city. Would it be awesome, don’t you think? How colourful any city would be, or more beautiful? I would personally buy it, if only LEGO would produce it. Who ever dream of a place where you could express your passion for bricks to the best? For now, it’s only possible to vote for this project, who knows where the future leads.. My first proposition of the model is red, a real classic color for LEGO. The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr On a unrelated side note, the story behind my nickname. ‘VedoSoloLEGO’ means ‘I see only LEGOs’ in Italian, my native language. Reason behind that is anything i look at I try to picture it in brick shape. I hope you enjoy it. Technical notes: The model has been created with Mecabriks and rendered via Blender. Special thanks to gabriele.zannotti for the wonderful pictures and support; without his help, it wouldnt even be possible to show you this project with thee lovely hires pics. If you would like to keep in touch with the project you can subscribe to my Ideas profile, including my other projects, or on Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, Mocpages, by looking for my username ‘VedoSoloLEGO’. If you like this project, please share and vote here https://ideas.lego.com/projects/154372 Your help is much appreciated. Thanks!

I recently learned that in the general figure collecting world, it is well-known that most plastic bags are bad choices for long-term storage of figures. What happens is a lot of plastic bags, especially the ones for food, are not designed for long-term storage. A lot of them contain acids. In time, entropy does its job, and the plastic decomposes, releasing fumes. In sealed bags, this can cause damage to figures. Now, I've heard a solution is to poke holes in the bag to allow the figure to be ventilated, but I find this to be useless, since I am also trying to protect my minifigs against humidity and mold. It seems that the safest way is to get polypropylene bags, which are designed specifically for collectibles and are the ones used in bags for comic books. I found that info here: http://www.mhtoyshop.com/storing-your-loose-action-figures/ My question is, does anyone know if Lego figures are as susceptible to this kind of damage as regular figures? If that is the case, I have hundreds of little baggies to replace...

Hey there! My girlfriend hat a wonderful idea for a friends Wedding: Make a cake out of cake-slices made out of cardboard. Then put some homemade and some bought presents in it, reserve the other half for money presents. And to get a nice finish, you need a decoration on top of that cardboard-wedding-cake for sure, that's where I came into play (and for that one cake-slice with the angry Scotsman, too). As groom and bride are dedicated to medieval reenactment, Game of Thrones and Black / Goth Metal, the setting was quite clear. Well, see for yourself how this worked out:

I couldn't find a thread that already has this. Over on the licensed forum, there is a topic in which people share pics of their Super Hero collections. I was hoping people could share their Star Wars fig collections here. I would start this off, but unfortunately I haven't been able to bring my collection with me to my apartment (and hence why I enjoy seeing other people's collections even more ).
