  1. Over a month of design and here it is: The Razor Crest from The Mandalorian Series! Currently I have finished the virtual version, I checked many connections on real bricks. Building this vehicle was one of the most difficult things I did. Mapping the shape required many non-standard connections and inventing more and more strange solutions. Razor currently contains 2040 parts, including a display stand and landing gears. I also built an interior, many things open up. This is not the final version yet, some details, such as the painting may change. The full announcement will be available in a few days on my YouTube - Edge of Bricks! What do you think about this project? :)
  2. Hi all! my new project is ready: Luke Skywalker's X-Wing Fighterreferring to the final episode of Season 2 of The Mandalorian. I wanted the X-Wing in my collection, but the 75301 is average for me, and the 75218 is already very expensive. This is my MOC/MOD based on a set of 75218 and a bit of a 75301. I think the design from Lego (75218) is very good, so I just wanted to improve a few things and build it from easy available elements. The full presentation is now available on my youtube channel - EDGE OF BRICKS PDF Instructions is available: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-76703/EDGE OF BRICKS/xwing-fighter/#details
  3. UPDATED VERSION on the 24/04/2021 IMG_5503 by R Y, on Flickr IMG_5505 by R Y, on Flickr I started off with building up the Cobb Vanth speeder using pieces of the 75299 set, based on the guide from reddit user stocky13, very smart use of inverted pieces to create the core of the speeder. The new Round 3 x 3 x 2 with Recessed Center and Axle Hole makes a great engine intake with the Bar with light cover. [MOC] Outland TIE Fighter

Hi! A long time ago I watched episode 7 of The Mandalorian series, where appeared ... OUTLAND TIE FIGHTER I immediately added it to my "to do list" After a long time and many other MOCs, the time has come for TIE - for the Empire! I was building the project for a few weeks - it was not easy because I decided to use a new 3x3 round corner in it. I wanted to do something different, there are so many TIE projects already, it's hard to come up with something new. Project contains 914 parts. This is the Outland version - it has foldable wings. There are a few good mechanisms, I improved it, TJ Lego Room showed it some time ago. I added technic liftarms, changed a few other things. Landing gears is an additional stand - I didn't want to install it permanently in the cabin. This would worsen its appearance and weaken the structure. More on my youtube, link below. Project is also available on Rebrickable here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-72054/EDGE OF BRICKS/outland-tie/#details
  5. The Gauntlet was a Kom'rk-class fighter/transport owned by the former Mandalorian splinter-faction leader turned bounty hunter Pre Vizsla. Designed and constructed by the Mandalorian starship manufacturing corporation, MandalMotors, the Gauntlet took its name from the Basic language translation of the Mando'a word, Kom'rk. Equipped with powerful engines and twin laser cannons, Gauntlet fulfilled dual roles as a troop transport and starfighter, and was maintained by Vizsla— former leader of the Mandalorian splinter-group known as the Death Watch—as his personal transport during the galaxy-spanning Clone Wars. It was later owned by his son, who used it in bounty hunting during the Galactic Civil War era. The Gauntlet was a Kom'rk-class fighter/transport, and like the smaller models of the Kom'rk-class, measured 52.3 meters in length. Gauntlet possessed broad, angular, rotating wings the rotated to an upright landing position when grounded. The starship was also equipped with dual, forward-facing laser cannons located at the nose of the main body, and powerful engines that made Gauntlet one of the fastest troop transports in the galaxy. (not canon) owner info: After being proclaimed dead (Pre Vizsla faked his death at the hands of Darth Maul), and losing his title of leader of Death Watch to the Sith lord, Pre Vizsla escaped Mandalore on his ship, the Gauntlet. He fled to parts unknown, and had his ship repainted into a rusted colors of browns, grays, and black. Pre Vizsla held out for the rest of the Clone Wars on the desert world of Tatooine, hiding his ship in the bustling space-port of Mos Esiley at Docking Bay 93. It was around this time he found himself a wife, one of the refugees from the further out in the Outer Rim sieges. Her name has never been recorded as she died in child birth, but their son has: Par Vizsla. Around the time of rise of the Empire, the father went into business of bounty hunting, and Pre made sure to teach his son the importance of their shared Mandalorian heritage. When Pre died of old age around 3 years Before the Battle of Yavin ( or 3-BBY for short), Par Vizsla took his father's ship and armor and began bounty hunting full-time. He took this profession as a sort of challenge against Boba Fett, the "top dog" of the bounty hunting world, and another Mandalorian-armor wearing hunter. Their rivalry would go on for some time, until Boba was "accidentally" eaten by the Sarlacc. Par Vizsla then had to fight off several new threats to his "top Mandalorian" status, until finally being lost in the deep core chasing a bounty and was then termed MIA around the time of the Battle for Jakku.... though what truly happened to him and his ship will never fully be known. After all, he was chasing the Millennium Falcon! The cockpit seats two figures, one pilot / owner, and one bounty in handcuffs. The cargo area folds up, (and down) and can store a single crate. The ship, while landed, has the two side arms fold upwards 90 degrees. Builders notes: This model is a color-changed and slightly modified version of set 9525 (Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Fighter). I liked the model, but not the color scheme, so I changed it to match one of the figures in the new Mandalorian battle pack (set 75267), who is going to pilot this ship. I removed the ability for the ship's cockpit to turn 90 degrees sideways while flying as I didn't like how it looked. The landing function still operates as intended, though. The story I wrote that goes with this model is 100% my own fan fiction. It has been inspired by the Clone Wars TV show and other bits of info from the Star Wars Wikipedia about various topics. Most (but not all) of the ship's info is straight from the Gauntlet's page on that wiki. (This model should be built in real life next year, hopefully by mid-March.)

    [MOC] Raider on the Edge

Hi! Some time ago I finished building my AT-ST Raider. I liked the project very much, I thought it would be a good idea to build some diorama... RAIDER ON THE EDGE project has started :) MOC refers to the 4th episode "The Sanctuary" of The Mandalorian series, The main theme will be the battle between Mando and Cara Dune against the AT-ST Raider and Klatooinians. Currently, I already have a diorama outline, there are little lakes and first details. I order parts all the time, a lot of olive green and dark tan bricks. If you want see more, check my youtube:
  7. NEW Models will appear in replies to this thread Models in this thread: RAZOR CREST RIOT MAR'S STARFIGHTER NEW REPUBLIC PRISON SHIP OUTLAND TIE FIGHTER IMPERIAL DROPSHIP (NEW) RAZOR CREST Hello everybody I thought I would take a short break from building stuff from the animated series and build something “real”. Also what better way to celebrate the launch of the first live action Star Wars TV series than by building something out of LEGO?! Unfortunately being in the UK I might have to wait to actually watch it. ☹ Anyway I present my MINI version of the Mando’s starship ‘The Razor Crest’. And I must say I am really pleased with how this little model turned out. I am especially pleased with how the engines have turned out. At first I was not sure how to attach them and keep them at the right level but in the end I settled on the minifigure neck brackets. The engines themselves are built around a 1x1 brick with studs on the sides and the two ends of the engines are connected with a 4L Bar. I also think those grey ingot pieces give the shape perfectly. The ship also goes from 1 stud wide to 2 and back again so I could use those new triangle tiles for the rear ramp section. I have also made the usual ‘Planets’ style display with the new Mandalorian minifigure. I could go on but I will let the model speak for itself. Let me know what you think. Jon PS. Is it just me or does this ship remind anyone else of the ‘Serenity’ from Firefly?

    [MOC] Imperial Troop Transport

Hi! Stay home they said so... this is my new MOC design! Imperial Troop Transport New project ready - this time the Imperial machine, which unexpectedly appeared on the Mandalorian series! The vehicle currently consists of equal 1003 bricks, although it always changes during construction. Inside we have an interior for 2 drivers, 6 stormtroopers on the side, inside an additional 8 or 10 depending on whether we take equipment on board. The roof will be removable, the ramp and hatch open, plus a revolving cannon. The PDF Instructions will be available in April! Full Preview on my Youtube - Edge of Bricks, link below
  9. Hi everyone! This is a series of scenes based on the popular Disney+ series "The Mandalorian" which I built for Bricks LA 2021, a free virtual AFOL convention that is happening this weekend. First up, a vignette of the mandalorian armorer taking on a squad of stormtroopers inside her workshop with nothing but the tools of her trade as seen in "Chapter 8: Redemption". This Chapter is my favorite as it is filled with badass moments like this. There is a Mandalorian crest above the doorway, a table with forged helmets and jetpacks to the right, and the armorer's toolbox to the left. From the cold open of the same chapter, this vignette depicts IG-11 showing up to rescue the Child from the hapless scout troopers that kidnapped him. Nearby, you can see the transmitter that the troopers had used for target practice earlier. Next, we have Cobb Vanth riding his speeder made out of a podracer engine through the deserts of Tatooine from Chapter 9: The Marshal. There is a hook for storing Boba Fett's helmet behind his seat. This MOC will make a nice addition to the Trouble on Tatooine set coming out this year. Based on Chapter 12: The Siege, this vignette shows Cara Dune, Greef Karga, and the mythrol escaping the Nevarro Imperial base with a stolen Trexler Marauder and being chased by speederbikes and TIE Fighters through a canyon. The Mando shows up in his Razor Crest to shoot down the TIEs to save them. That's it for now. I still have a few ideas for vignettes, so keep an eye on this thread as I may add more. Let me know what you think of these and if there are any particular scenes you'd like to see. May the way be with you.
  10. AT-ST RAIDER- 864 parts!- Minifig Scale! This is the second AT-ST I have designed, the previous version was First Order AT-ST. The new design is the Imperial version, but with a completely different style. AT-ST Raider appeared in The Mandalorian series, Episode 4 "Sanctuary". The AT-ST Raider is an old, badly damaged machine that was repaired by The Klatooinian. A few bricks will still be changed - currently I don't have red macaroni parts, as soon as they appear on Bricklink in my local stores, I will order them. I think a very cool option is that I used almost all stickers from the official 75254 set! the feet are the exception This is another MOC from The Mandalorian series, but not the last!
  11. I love the look of the Mandalorian on his speeder bike, as showcased in the Season 2 key art: This speeder appears in the new set "Trouble on Tatooine" (75299), and is a reasonably decent approximation considering it has to be sturdy and hold up to play. There are a few shaping inaccuracies, but that's par for the course. For reference, here's the official LEGO vehicle with no tweaks other than a hastily cobbled-together stand (and my unorthodox placement of the cape, with the left arm threading one of the neck holes to hold it at the desired display angle): The major downside, as with most LEGO speeders, is the scale! While it has some nice detail, it's simply much too large in comparison to the minifigure. The "foot pedals" (at least, that's what I presume the struts with the dark orange brackets are meant to be) are a case in point -- they're huge relative to the minifig, and nowhere near Mando's feet! So, despite the inevitability of loosing some greebling opportunities, I decided to take a stab at a scaled-down speeder bike for Mando to ride that would still successfully evoke the vehicle from the show. I also set myself the challenge of only using parts from 75299! Here's what I came up with: It's reasonably sturdy, fits both Grogu and Mando's Amban phase-pulse blaster, and the nose fortuitously lies at the correct angle. This design also allows Mando to sit a little more upright in his seat! But it's still not quite where I wanted it to be, so I did one final tweak with a few additional bars with clips, some swapped out colors, and a smooth base: Mando can now lean forward slightly as he does on the key art, which allows his cape to be properly affixed without getting crimped up. His hands still can't properly "grab" the handlebars, but it's close enough for my purposes. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has undertaken this challenge, so I'll probably be inspired to revisit this build in the future. For now, though, this makes me happy!

    [MOC] Trexler Marauder

Hi! New MOC design is ready, another vehicle from the Mandalorian series, this time something for the glory of the Empire: Trexler Marauder (supposedly worth a lot of money on the black market according to Mythrol) Main features: - 1002 parts, - minifig scale, - openable door, - cabin with seats and panels, - you can detach the entire roof to get inside, - at the back of the vehicle is the turret operator station. I will build the project next year. In a few days, the full presentation will appear on my YouTube - Edge of Bricks. PDF Instructions will be available in January Now I'm taking the next MOC from the series ...

    Razor crest 1:125 scale

This is my final build of 2020. The razor crest from the mandalorian in minifig trophy scale. It has opening rear and front doors as well as FULLY RETRACTING LANDING GEAR. Really proud of that. The nose angles were inspired by jaeracs awesome model. Its pretty solid as long as you dont squeeze the side panels too hard. I plan on funishing the interior when I make the instructions. More pics here: Old model is on the left

    [MOC] Blacktron LASER THRUST

On Flickr a little bird (...or panda) whispered to my ear that the people on Eurobricks would really like my stuff so here I am! This is my Blacktron Razor Crest. It goes by Laser Thrust and features no original Star Wars pieces so it can be on Lego Ideas. If you like my ship, you could go to Ideas and support it, that would be nice!!! I really have shrunken the pics as far as I could but yeah, have a look at flickr.com/photos/ygreklego - there you'll find more!!
  16. Lego should do collectible mini figures for Star Wars. They would be great for The Mandalorian or other Star Wars. Do you agree. You can have your say right here.

    Micro Razor Crest

I decided to give a try to build my own version of the Razor Crest during the quarantine, but using my own bricks. Due to limited availability it had to be a micro version, but I'm happy how it turned out. I tried to incorporate some play features as well (doors open, kind of landing gear, "interior" or at least hollow space) and keep it as smooth as possible. I'm proud of the sloped cabin, the most difficult part by far. I hope you liked it. Regards, PaulPrime
  18. I thought I'd build something while waiting for my E-Wing parts. I don't intend to build this IRL any time soon, but I've not seen many Lego versions of the Starviper, so I decided to see how it would turn out. So I present possibly the most awkwardly shaped ship in Star Wars. :P And a reference. If I ever get around to building it for real, I'll be sure to bump this. :) New version with instructions. https://studio.bricklink.com/v2/build/model.page?idModel=6733

    [MOC] Baby Yoda

Hi, I know that there are a lot of LEGO versions of the new Star Wars star, the Kid (aka Baby Yoda), but after watching the show, I needed to build my own version. I hope you like it. He can move the ears, the mouth and the arms. Thank you.
  20. Nal Hutta was a hot, swampy planet located in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories that was the homeworld of the Hutt species. The planet was a haven for the criminal elements of the galaxy. We can find here also Bounty Hunter Enclaves, such as this one here. My build to celebrate May 4th. This is my first Star Wars MOC, wanted to build something with my new Mandos. C&C welcome! Sorry for the background, I took them in my store.
  21. Hi! Today I want to show you my new diorama MOC from The Mandalorian series! MOC contains probably 3000 parts. Main details: - Main gate, - two buildings, - main street - a lot of details The construction took about 2 months, I did 4 orders with Bricklink, now I have much more parts which will facilitate the construction of next projects! :) What do you think about this MOC? :) More details on my YouTube channel - Edge of Bricks:
  22. "This is the way." This is my MOC of the Razor Crest from The Mandalorian. Features opening cockpit, opening side and rear doors.
  23. Meet the Assassin Probe -- Tal Merrick's frightening war droids. Appearing in the "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" TV series S02E13, this frightening droid was tilized in the Death Watch's mission to assassinate Mandalore Duchess Satine Kryze. Ultimately failing in its mission, the droid nevertheless succeeded in surpassing the terror and frightening nature of the other Separatist Alliance droid machinations. This droid has not yet been produced by the LEGO company, so my MOC is, as far as I consider, the perfect design. My MOC features all of the characteristics depicted in the actual droid. It features a head that can rotate across 360 degrees horizontally. In addition, the legs are built so they can be flexed and repositioned as the builder chooses. All of the playability features the droid has. If you want to recreate this droid yourself following my design, I have the LEGO DIGITAL DESIGNER file for this model up for sale on Etsy and eBay, both of which are available now. Click here to purchase the instructions on Etsy. Click here to purchase the instructions on eBay. Please let me know what you think in the comments section below.

    [MOC]: Mandalorian Hideout

Mandalorian Hideout My 2nd creation for the Clone Wars community build is a mandalorian hideout, which is in a hangar. (maybe on coruscant) /It's one of my older MOCs, but this is the perfect place to show it./ In the background a mandalorian is repairing the speeder and there are the guns: Other views:
