I am proud to finally present my moc System scale Hogwarts castle! This is a project I’ve wanted to undertake since the first wave of sets back in 2018. But with the release of the astronomy tower this summer there was finally enough pieces to get to work. The pieces from the set comprise almost entirely from 2x every Hogwarts expansion set since 2018, along with one broken down D2C Hogwarts. I estimate roughly 10,000 pieces in the thing. The set is comprised of 5 sections: the great hall/staircase tower, the West wing, the clocktower, the astronomy tower and the owlery. The first three of those combining into one connected piece. The great hall and grand staircase tower section comprises of a relatively unchanged great hall, the main differences being the added courtyard, along with connected viaduct, completed roof, and some removed rocks. The interior is pretty much identical to the original set. The staircase tower takes inspiration from the original set, however I’ve added extra height and wider section near the roof for accuracy. And the roof is directly lifted from the D2C tower. Connected to this are an entirely new courtyard entrance section, and Griffindor tower, which is a ‘shrunken’ version of that from the Whomping willow set, it looks similar, but it’s structure is almost entirely different to that of the original build. There is also an added extra tower and the higher viaduct is attached via a walkway. The interior of this section of a bit sparse until I acquire more parts, but for now has elements from different sets thrown in there, such as snapes office, the Mirror of Erised, the magical decrees and the Griffindor common room. This section connects to the west wing via two studs on the viaduct, so they can be easily removed. The west wing entrance building has been rebuilt with extra height and depth added, along with a new roof. Along from the entrance building are the greenhouses, which are unchanged, but have been attached to a facade of the west wing building, making it one solid wall piece. This leads to the bell towers, fully custom with interior in the style of the other sets. (I imagine next years flagship set will be a rendition of these) The interior of this section is a bit sparse right now, but currently contains the positions classroom and Slughorns party. I intend to put in a library there in the future. The bell towers contain the DADA classroom (taken from the clocktower set, along with Snapes cupboard. The Astromy tower is a floating piece. I couldn’t really find a good way to connect it without blocking the interior to the west wing. There has been a lot of extra height added, and the connecting wall removed from the bottom, along with some colour changes on the roof. But apart from this there is little to differentiate it from the original set. The clocktower is also a floating piece. It was originally going to connect to the high viaduct, but instead the viaduct rests on tiles on the rocky landscape base. I changed a lot of colours in this section from the original set, along with combining the sections, getting rid of the technic connectors. I also attached the clocktower courtyard, which doesn’t yet have the fountain, but I do plan to put it there. The interior of the tower here remains the same as the original set, however I have added extra floor space to Dumbledore office, something I’ve also done in the clocktower entrance hall. Also in the clocktower I have added the pendulum. The hospital wing has been moved to the middle floor, with a removable rear wall so as to not show the interior when the castle is viewed from the front. The roof has also been moved and rebuilt to complete it on both sides. Finally there is the Owlery. This is again a fully custom piece, sitting higher on rock than the other buildings. The interior here features a lot of bird droppings, and owl holes. I made sure to include the letter writing stand and owl stand from the whomping willow set, as that was a miniature representation of the owlery in a way. Outside the building I have added the staircase that leads to the rest of the castle, allowing Harry and cho to bump into eachother. And that’s the whole castle! On the face of it the whole thing looks very similar to the original sets, but I reality almost every building has had fundamental build changes, the least of which on the astronomy tower and great hall, with the most being on the west wing and grand staircase tower/griffindor tower. Harry Potter is one of my favorite franchises of all time, so I was really excited to make this trailer! Let me know if you have any advice on how to improve it! -
My very first creation in the Harry Potter universe. The moving staircase on itself wasn't much of a challenge. The moving balustrades were. Note that the port one already starts sliding inside the wall before the staircase begins moving. Additionally the starboard balustrade will only come out after the staircase began moving. (What? I'm used to building ships, don't staircases have port and starboard sides too?). All this is driven by a single mechanical system and I can tell you, this required a considerable amount of patience. I don't think I've ever experienced frustrations of this magnitude when building a lego creation before. You see, in the beginning, after a lot of fine tuning, it worked very smoothly. But as I finished it and wanted to start filming, the mechanism jammed all the time. Turns out the staircase was too heavy, which resulted in too much stress on the drive chain. I removed one step at a time until it worked again. The internals, for the interested, although there's not that much to see I'm afraid. Initially there was a corridor behind the door, with a width of 4 studs. But as the mechanism began jammed a lot when nearing completion, I had to remove it in order to supervise the mechanism below. I intend to expand this scene, I have learned a lot from this build and I'm sure I can overcome the limitations I came across. However, as this means I'll have to completely start over again, It won't be for the very near future. For the next version I want more platforms, so the staircase will actually lead somewhere. Those platforms should of course have moving balustrades of their own. As I see myself bringing this to exhibition events It would make sense to motorise the system so I can make it run continuously. And then maybe adding some other animations, such as moving portraits. It's all possible, I just need to learn how to do it .

4 Privet Drive house 75968 MOD with garage and rear half of house plus 1962 Ford Anglia in dark blue

Here is my heavy MOD of 2020 set 75968, 4 Privet Drive. The car is a dark blue version of the Anglia in 2018's Hogwarts Whomping Willow set (75953), and fits inside the added garage. Here is the front of the house. I added a visible chimney flue, as I didn't like how the set kept the one hidden inside the wall. The rear of the building features a greenhouse and back door to both the house and garage. The greenhouse folds up and open to get at the inside of it, which at this point holds only a telephone. On the lower floor of the inside is the living room (with record player, couch, and fireplace), kitchen and dining area (stove, sink, table and two chairs). The upper floor features a lamp on a table and a bed. This 1962 Ford Anglia 105E is based off set 75953 (Hogwarts Whomping Willow), but in dark blue. (and no, it does not fly!) The rear trunk opens slightly. Two of this part are missing in dark bluish gray, and four of this part are missing in dark blue to finish the car. The LDD file is available at Bricksafe here. This lot encompasses my collection of LEGO Harry Potter sets from 2001-2004. Included are 100% complete inventory -Hogwarts Castle (2nd Edition) -Slytherin -Quidditch Practice -Aragog in the Dark Forest -Hagrid’s Hut (2nd Edition) -Dobby’s Release and a 99% complete -Knockturn Alley (missing 3 pieces) -Harry and the Marauder’s Map (missing 1 piece). The minifgures included are in generally good condition, with some minifgures unfortunately missing. What you see is what you get; the 2 rarest minifgures, Professors Dumbledore and Trelawney, are both included and in great condition. Looking to sell as a lot, not individually. This lot is priced to sell (Hogwarts Castle, Knockturn Alley, and Hagrid’s Hut alone go for $170, $50, and $60, respectively), so I am asking $250 for the entire lot. Feel free to comment and PM me! MOC/MOD - 4-6-0 Hall Class "Olton Hall" - aka The Hogwarts Express

As already shown in a preview in my Hogwarts Express Carriages thread, I have completed my rendition of the "Olton Hall" steam locomotive, famous for pulling the Hogwarts Express in the fictional wizarding world of Harry Potter. Here she is in close-up: [ Hogwarts Express by Phil B, on Flickr This is a model that started as a Mod of 75955, but has progressed far enough from the original set that you can call it a MOC I think. Here is a list of all modifications I made: Lengthened the entire boiler by 6 studs and placed the middle section under a one-plate angle to better capture the shape of the real Hall Class. Widened the engine to 7 studs (almost 10 across the pistons and driverods). This allowed me to accurately model the forward facing windows in the cab, and allowed me to create openings for the wheel flanges to accommodate a larger wheel size, Upgraded the wheels to Big Ben XL Drivers and Big Ben Medium pilot truck wheels - I like how they have true spokes vs the printed spokes on LEGO's regular train wheels. The model works with standard LEGO Large and regular train wheels as well. Extended the pipes from the side to around the nose of the boiler. Redesigned the front buffer beam. Gone is the "lock" from the original model, but it features the same details as the real-life Olton Hall. With the change to 7 wide I widened the cab, but kept the original firebox and gauges from 75955, which was quite an "offset" challenge to do. Completely redesigned the tender to house a LiIon LEGO battery box and a Power Functions IR Receiver, though the model can work with PFxBricks as well. The tender is 6 wide, with one pivoting axle and a fixed PF train motor. On the pictures she is pulling my consist of 5 BR Mk I coaches - 2 First Class, 2 Second Class and a combined First Class/Baggage/Brake coach. Each carriage has a fully detailed interior and is 7 wide. Progress on these carriages has been documented in my Hogwarts Express Carriages thread. [warning: this is very long and wordy] Hi everyone, like the rest of you I am very excited for the revived Harry Potter theme and look forward to seeing more sets next year! After the release of the Clock Tower this year I wanted to have some fun and experiment to see how LEGO could try to complete the entire Hogwarts castle, accurate to the movies with more similar modular buildings. In this thread I’m going to show and tell what I have come up with :) These are all just sketches/prototypes, and I do not plan to design full size versions (that’s for LEGO to do ?). The models I have made are all ‘microscale’ sized and very simplified, with the ‘trophy’ figures representing minifigures, the ‘heroica’ figure representing bigfigs etc, and the 4x4 round plate representing the large hexagonal plate (89523) etc Preview examples: Firstly to get familiar with the layout and design of the castle itself I recommend watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIdYn3L2_0U. I also go by the harry potter wiki for identifying the towers etc. Firstly I decided on the scope of the ‘full castle’ when complete; LEGO for example has already excluded the large courtyards in front of the Great Hall and Clock tower, and also seems to be excluding bridges, overpasses and viaducts etc, as well as outer walls and some of the smaller buildings such as the ‘pepperpot’. So I will be doing the same, which does mean that technically not all of the final castle actually connects together… The first image shows a tiny build of Hogwarts I started with.

The Knight Bus - (Harry Potter 75957 inspired MOD) - real world model

When the Prisoner of Azkaban movie came out, I was very impressed with the Knight Bus prop.... but less so with the original LEGO version (set 4755 from 2004). I originally wanted to added a rear staircase using Fabuland part number 2046, necessitating making the model a double-deck bus and converting it to right hand drive as well. (This was back around 2005-ish) Then, after multiple changes to my bus, Harry Potter went away in 2007 and the bus changed color to all-black until 2008 when it was finally destroyed. When the redesigned set 4866 was released in 2011, I came out with a brown double deck one still using staircase part 2046. Finally, when the recent Winter Village station was released, I changed that bus to a double deck model in blue, designed with the well-used 2046 from the original 2004 MOC bus in mind. But something was missing: I had a hankering in my heart for the Knight Bus of my dreams, which I started to design in LDD but quickly hit a roadblock or three. (No pun intended!) then, Lego came back with out with Harry Potter again! Would the Knight Bus be made as as a set for a third time? I eagerly awaited until summer 2019 to find out yes! But before i get to my latest Knight Bus MOC, what actually is the Knight Bus prop as seen in the third Harry Potter movie, and how was the sequence filmed? The Knight Bus real-world movie prop is a triple decker bus originally made from three separate RT-class AEC Regent III buses as seen in beginning of the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. The triple-deck body was then fitted to a Dennis Javelin bus chassis. In order to portray the bus driving at high speeds, the cars around the bus drove slower while the bus drove at its top speed, and the footage was sped up afterward. Two buses were constructed for the film's external shots, while the interior shots were filmed on a set that would rock back and forth to simulate the bus' movement. Also, the bus's height posed a challenge for the filmmakers when the vehicle was required to pass underneath bridges. To solve this problem, the top of the bus was designed to be removable. (The photo seen above was gotten from Wikipedia and is NOT mine.) The LEGO version of the Knight Bus is a mashup of set 75957 and my own imagination. I parted out the model using LDD instead of buying it, as it cost about the same to buy the parts, plus use some parts I had left from previous versions, than buy and fix the set outright. I'm also using the original 2004 "KNIGHT BUS" printed 1 x 4 tiles for the two sign boards, as a tribute to the first version and so I don't have to use stickers. Sadly, I don't have any Ernie Prang (driver) or Shaun Shunpike (conductor) mini-figures (they were disassembled long ago), but I will have the more recent version of Shaun soon, since the model doesn't open up at all to place Ernie at the controls. I will eventually have Shaun hanging off the end of the bus railing as if he's holding on for dear life! The rear of the bus, which is designed for UK-style left-hand drive, unlike most of my vehicles designed for use over here in the USA. Well, that's all I have to say about this model. To get familiar with Stud.io 2.0 (I have always used MLCAD for my designs in the past), I decided to build a custom carriage for my Hogwarts Express. I intend to build at least 3 of these, with different window/door configurations (possibly including a brake van end). I took my inspiration from this Hornby model: So far, my work is a Work In Progress. Couple of notes: 1. I wanted the coach to be shorter in length to better negotiate LEGO R40 curves. The current iteration is 32 studs wide (across the body), but needs to be extended by 4 studs as the bogies are currently hitting the undercarriage details. 2. The idea was to allow close coupling. As such, I made the cushion between the train carriages out of part 45590 Technic Axle Connector Double Flexible (Rubber). I will need to do some IRL experiments to see if this actually works, and if it does, I might extend the body by another 2 or 4 studs to set the couplings further back. 3. The bottom bars on the bogies might be too low. I am considering moving them up by one plate. 4. I wanted a realistic interior, but didn't want to go 8 wide. So for now the model sits at 7 wide, with a "creative" solution to create compartment walls. 5. The benches in the compartments are too narrow for the "normal" seating of minifigs, but I think I have devised a way to seat at least 2 minifigs per compartment - hopefully a future iteration of this WIP will showcase this method. 6. There is room for more greebling under the carriage - still WIP. 7. I am also still working on a door design to fit in the opening between carriages. 8. Yes, this model uses the old train windows. I have recently gotten my hand on about 40 of them, so that won't be a problem for my build. With that said, I am looking for your feedback so I can further improve this model. A while ago i bought the recent Harry Potter set with the Hungarian Horntail in it. The dragon in the set was okay but i felt it could be improved a lot by adding more spikes and details, modifying the legs and make neck and tail a bit longer. REVIEW: Harry Potter 75958 Beauxbatons' Carriage: Arrival at Hogwarts

Here is my video review for 75958 Beauxbatons' Carriage: THE GOOD: Nice looking carriage with some surprising techniques! TWO Pegasus included!!!! Awesome minifigures. (I believe they are all exclusive to this set) Love the hat piece for Fleur and Gabrielle. THE NOT SO GOOD: Price is a bit high! Would love it to be $60 NZD range. Overall another MAXIMUM EFFORT set from LEGO. Great addition to the theme and actually would also well fitted in non-harry potter settings too. I'm particularly impressed with one of the technique they use to build the interior of the carriage! And the most exciting thing for me is this set includes not just one but TWO Pegasus! I actually bought this set for them =D . I would totally recommend this set to everyone even if you are not a Harry Potter fan, if you can try get it from a retailer that gives you discount! -

Here is my review on 75965 The Rise of Voldemort: THE GOOD: Great minifigures. Great simple cemetery build. I love the statue and overall vibe of it. Baby Voldemore piece =P THE NOT SO GOOD: The action feature to represent The Rise of Voldemort isn't that convincing given there isn't any depth so you cannot hide Voldemore completely underground. Overall, I think this set is great with excellent minifigures. I love the cemetery build just because I'm a fan of this type of them even though I'm not a Harry Potter die hard fans. You can easily modify it to be a part of a bigger Lego cemetery. The price isn't that bad either. So I recommend this to any Lego fans! And wow at the baby voldemort, it's cute yet creepy =)

Here is my review on 75945 Expecto Patronum! THE GOOD: The glittering stag is very nicely done and I hope they use the same mould for Christmas Ring Deers. Great minifigures. THE NOT SO GOOD: Lacking playability considering the intended target audience. I still recommend this to everyone just because it's actually a very good minifigure pack and the glittering stag is useful even outside Harry Potter theme. The build is a bit too simple and lack action features so it may not be the best play set out there but the parts selection and minifigures make this compelling if you can get this with a discount.

Oh dear! I can't believe I am reviewing a set with a new creature mould again. Quick disclaimer: this is my very first Harry Potter set, excluding the CMF series. Therefore, I can't make a direct comparison with the older minifigures as I don't have any. Now that it's out of the way, think of your happiest memory. With all your might, focus on a single, very happy memory. Ready? This is my 24th Eurobricks RA review, set number 75945 - Expectoooo... Patronum!!! Overview Name: 75945 Expecto Patronum Theme: LEGO System / Harry Potter Year: 2019 (2H) Pieces: 80 Minifigures: 4 Price: USD 19.99 / EUR 19.99 / GBP 19.99 Introduction This set is based on a very iconic scene in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban when Harry saved his future self and godfather from Dementors using a defensive charm called Expecto Patronum. The back-end time travel that took place towards the end of the movie is one of my favourite sequence in the entire HP series, save the final battle of Harry and Voldemort. I rewatched the movie late last year and it only cemented my opinion that Prisoner of Azkaban is one of the best directed movie in the franchise. Enough about the movie. Let's talk about the LEGO set. Front panel The front panel shows the roster of minifigures at the left corner. Something that sticks out immediately is the abundant glow effect especially on the stag. Back Panel At the back, the usual action features are illustrated. There is nothing much happening there except the radar dish being shot at the Dementor. More about the play features later. Content of the box These are the immediate contents from unboxing. There is 1 small instruction booklet, 3 plastic bags containing bricks, 1 plastic bag containing the stag and 1 paper box with the capes. And here are all the parts unpacked. I am happy to report there is no stickers! Minifigures Just like what I did with my previous review, I will focus on the minifigures (and creature) first because this is the most important aspect of the set, at least for me. The stag is included in the line up for scale comparison purpose only. Front view with hairpiece/headgear and armours Everything is new to me in LEGO Harry Potter theme so I have no preconceived notion what has changed or what has improved. All the direct comparison that I can make is between this set and the HP movies. However, looking at the pictures of previous Sirius Black, all I can say is that it is a huge improvement over the old one. The re-coloured Luke Skywalker hair looks good in dark brown and it fits the gritty character design very well. Harry Potter sports a new torso and he uses the dark tan medium legs that is first paired on Justin minifigure in set 75810 The Upside Down (Stranger Things). Harry Potter in this set is a decent minifigure. I can't complain about this protagonist. Moving on, there are 2 Dementors included in this set. It is exactly the same one in set # 75955 Hogwarts Express that was released last year. Interesting enough, if you look at the average selling price of these blind dark hooded creatures in Bricklink, 2-3 of these is already worth this new Expecto Patronus set. Crazy, right? How could 2 of these minifigures be worth the entire set? One could hope that as more set 75945 is parted out that the average price of these minifigures would go down. But that's not my point. My point is, if you have been wanting to get the new Dementors, this set will give you so much more value than buying the minifigures in the secondary market. Think about that again. Back view with hairpiece/headgear and armours The back printing for the human characters are very minimal but this is not problem for me. The Dementors use the tried and tested cape with tattered edges. For someone who didn't own the older Dementor minifigures, I think they are just fine. Do I like a better cape like previous Dementors? Yes, but I will not trade the marbled black ghost lower body part because they look terrific on these ghostly minifigures. Front view without hairpieces/headgears and cape Without the cloak and cape, we can see more details of the Dementor. One could say that the Dementor's face is nothing but a ... hole... A black face with a hole. A hole? They don't have eyes because they're blind. So that's just their mouth sucking all the happiness of their target. Whatever. That's the new Dementor minifigure for you. Back view without hairpieces/headgears and cape Sirius and Harry has dual face print. I always expect major characters to have dual face print so I am very glad that TLG didn't cheap out on these two. There is no alternate face for the Dementor because it will be covered by the cloak, always. It has no back printing also because the capes will cover the back anyway. Totally fine. Corporeal Patronus As the only defence against Dementors, Expecto Patronus has to be one of the most famous spell in Harry Potter. It has 2 forms: non-corporeal and corporeal. The set is all about Harry's Corporeal Patronus which takes form of a stag. In the books, Corporeal Patronus is supposed to be silvery in colour. In the movie and games adaptations, the Corporeal Patronus appears to be predominantly bluish so when I saw the first picture of the stag in glittery transparent light blue, I am not surprised at all. I think people remember what they see in the movie so I am not going to complain or argue that it should have been just transparent with glitters. I almost forget -- the stag's horns are made of softer material, likely done to prevent injuries. It does not have glitters unlike the rest of the stag's body. Comparing the stag with other 4-legged animals Next to the City feline mould and NINJAGO wolf, the stag is taller. There is no leg or hind legs articulation likely because it makes the production of these special moulds cheaper and easier. Unlike the recent animal moulds though, the deer/stag mould follows the same design approach of LEGO cows as it has a space for bricks and a plate in the middle of its body so that you can fit a saddle or a yoke for a cart. I can see this mould being re-used for Santa's reindeer but that's purely my speculation. Stag top view Build All parts laid down before building There are lots of good parts included in this set and the build is not shabby, too. Forbidden Forest Trees The trees are not identical but it is using the same trunk and base. They are not as big as I wanted but knowing this is a relatively cheap set, I cannot complain. I am even thankful that we get 2 trees instead of 1. At the back, all you see are anti-studs so it is not pleasant to look at. I think the intention of the designer is to always face the beautiful side of the trees to make the build simple and less bulky. If you put the trees back to back, it could make a good stubby medium-sized tree. It's possible -- but I don't want to go in details because you need to do some modifications. Sexy back... NOT! These side of the tree is not camera friendly... but it's okay for the price. Tree deconstructed The build of this tree is simple and efficient because it is using the relatively new part (#41682) Tile Special 2x2 with 1x2 Vertical Plate to erect the trees upright. Glad that this part exists now. It's definitely going to make more interesting stud not on top building techniques. Completed build The completed build is small but effective because the trees add a lot of depth to the scene. My only gripe is that the lake shore is very small, and the "Great Lake" isn't great at all. TLG is really banking on kid's imaginative play to make this work. "I'm so sorry Sirius, there's not enough space for us to re-enact the scene properly" Parts I like the all brown and green parts included. These parts can be easily used for other purposes and if you buy these set in bulk, you can keep all the parts to make a bigger forest. I hope smaller sets can be like this set -- the parts are really useful and the minifigures are very desirable. Not many sets fall in that category. Excluding minifigure parts, the new mould in this set is none other than the stag in transparent light blue with glitters. The other parts that were re-coloured in transparent light blue with glitters are: 1x2 brick and a dish 4 x 4 inverted (radar) with open stud. The tattered cape included in the set comes in just 1 small paper packaging with numbered "6270340" -- don't panic if you see only one of this paper packaging because there 2 capes inside. 2 capes in 1 packaging Extra parts For reference, here are the extra parts. Note that I didn't use the wand from this set because I have a spare dark brown wand lying around somewhere. Conclusion It's not hard to land a good score for this set because a lot of the pros outweighs the cons. See below: Pros: New stag creature mould is exclusive in this set New Sirius Black is also exclusive in this set Two Dementors are included - an excellent way to get more of these ghostly creature easily The parts used on trees are very useful for MOCs Cons: Very little studded area to put the characters on the lake shore which makes the plates almost useless. Beside, there are only 8 studs of "lake" included. The trees are only meant to face forward as all you see at the back are the anti-studs If you bought all the sets in this HP wave, you'll end up having 3 identical Harry Potter minifigs. Great if you like to make an army of Harry Potter.. So, to wrap things up -- Review summary Playability: 7/10 - the stud shooter seems to be forced just to add additional play feature. As advertised, there are endless magical possibilities with 4 minifigures included -- but it's mostly for role-playing the minifigures only. Design / Building Experience: 8/10 - The trees efficiently use the bracket part but the tiny space on the shore is so little that if the designers just get rid of the plates they could have reduced the cost or allocated more parts on the trees. Minifigures: 10/10 - Sirius Black is my favourite minifigure in this set but one cannot deny that the inclusion of 2 Dementors make this line up perfect. Price / Value for money: 10/10 - Excellent minifigures, exclusive creature and very useful parts included in the set give this set tremendous value Overall: 8.75/10 - A little set every Harry Potter fan should get. Excellent value, great parts and excellent minifigures all in one set. EXPECTO PATRONUS!

This thread is a Harry Potter Version of the excellent thread on the Star Wars forum started by Kingslayer. It's a place to share ways of making the Harry Potter figures look even better, sharing custom items for sale you might find elsewhere and showing off characters created from your own parts. A lot of these get posted in the yearly discussion threads, but the posts get lost amongst price discussions and piece count debates :D First up, I've tried out a few hairpieces for McGonagall. The braided piece is in Light Grey and Dark Tan, the bun piece is Light Grey, but Dark Grey is also available. I think the bun hairpiece looks better for her appearance the first few films, and the braided piece in the later films where she wears her hat less. The hairpieces also covers up her alternate expression better. I think this piece is too light, but the shape is good. Unfortunately this piece isn't available any darker at the moment. I thought Cho's skin tone was too dark in her CMS figure, so changed from Flesh to Light Flesh. I used Paige Tico's head from the Star Wars Resistance Bomber set, as both actors are of South East Asian heritage and the face suited the character. Rose Tico's face didn't suit her as well. I used the original Cho face for the Patil twins. I got four Cho minifigures so I used two for Padma and Pavati. I'm not sure which ponytail piece best suits them out of the three I have, so I've shown them all. I used Boggart Snape, the bird piece from the lone ranger sets and General Leia's face to make Augusta Longbottom. If only the bird piece came in Tan/Dark Tan... I swapped Malfoy's Bright Light Yellow hair for Tan. I think it makes him look a little less friendly! Anyway, hope these are of some help or interest and I'd love to see what others have done too :)

I just wanted to share my wip moc of the 2018 great hall set. The hall is longer and taller, the staircase tower is taller and now is 3/4 instead of the front 1/2 of the tower in addition to adding extra floors. I just created the next section (to the right of the tower) and will eventually finish that section with tower and the courtyard.
