  1. Talia: Awake and alert yet, my Detective? The tranquilliser i prepared was timed to wear off around now. It must be quite dark in there, and the air will run out shortly. Are you beginning to take me seriously, at last? The Heretic throws a safe with Batman inside into a pool The Leviathan Helicopter Before i begin talking i just wanted to say one thing. Batman Incorporated: Leviathan Best. Batman. Comic. Ever So this is Wayne Tower Penthouse as it appears in Batman Incorporated. So i finally finished this Moc after making a few others on the way. I think it turned out ok. My favourite part has to be the Leviathan Helicopter, that will be a keep for the next year or so. I have had this in mind ever since i read Batman Incorporated. What a great conclusion to the run of the decade. So i think i will stop making Batman Mocs for a while and expand to other themes. Based off the events in Batman Incorporated #7

[MOC] the Bat and the Batpod

Hi' There are my last MOCs about TDKR. First, my version of the batpod : lego batpod by _quentin_, on Flickr lego batpod by _quentin_, on Flickr lego batpod by _quentin_, on Flickr And second, my version of the Bat : lego MOC bat by _quentin_, on Flickr lego MOC bat by _quentin_, on Flickr lego MOC bat by _quentin_, on Flickr lego MOC bat by _quentin_, on Flickr lego MOC bat by _quentin_, on Flickr lego MOC bat by _quentin_, on Flickr Hope you'll enjoy
  3. Damian gets curious when his mother is busy and walks in to her bedroom. He looks in the chest at the end of her bed and discovers his Father's Cape & Cowl. From the 2006 Comic Book "Batman & Son" which is now been adapted in to a Animated Movie. I know its not much, its just a quick little build as i prepare for a big Batman Moc as my second contest entry into Nick Haro's Batman contest. My first entry into Nick Haro's Lego Batman Contest over on Flickr.
  4. My version of a futuristic Justice League. Inspired by the Justice League Unlimited from the Batman Beyond Universe and the Justice League 3000. Left to Right Green Arrow: With this version i decided to lose the hood and mask and use a fake face (Like in Batman Zero Year). I also gave him a fully armoured suit with arrows like Speedy from the Teen Titans show. The Flash: Out with the Red and Yellow and in with the White and Red. I thought i would give him i suit that lets him perform to the best of his abilities, not designed for looks. Wonder Woman: With all the rumours going around a Wonder Woman or a Justice League movie going around and a load of Fake images going around, it seemed like the modern way is the way to go. Really happy with this one! Batman: One of my favourites. I don't really like how everyone thinks he should have a big red logo on his chest so i was inspired by the leaked pictures of a Batman action figure from the next Man of Steel film to do something different. Superman: The first heavily inspired one from the Batman Beyond Universe. Since all the cloths and gear there have rectangle plates i decided to give him a all out armour look instead of a basic layer with the rectangle plates i was talking about. Green Lantern: With this one i went with the wise little monk from the Batman Beyond Universe, instead of a fully grown human being. I added that bag to the front of him to make it look like the Justice League 3000 version with the cool ghost looking cloak without the hood. Aquaman: With this one i lost the classic fish scale torso and went with a shark like body with fish arms. The creepy head makes him look less human too which is what i was aiming for. Overall i say this one turned out pretty good. So what are your thoughts?

    MOC: Batman Tumbler

The Batman Tumbler is the Batmobile so far and also one of the best cinematic vehicles. I made a Lego version since there had been many othet MOCs done of it, but I wanted to make one myself. I also made a few Dark Knight Trilogy minifigures. Please tell me what you think of the model and what I can improve on. Sorry; due to technical difficulties I have to upload Photos tomorrow.

  7. So this has been through development in almost 3 years! I consider it to be a new start up for future projects and plan to make more movies related to both DC and Marvel comics in the future. It's been a real journey learning the process of the Cinema view in movies and the post production development. Enjoy the movie and stay for the credits. When the rogue God of Apokolips invades Earth, The Worlds Mightiest Heroes (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter) must unite to face this unprecedented threat no matter the outcome. Starring JOEL MORALES as SUPERMAN JOSHUA SIMS as BATMAN BRICK7 as WONDER WOMAN COULTER RAIL as THE FLASH BILL KARALIUS as GREEN LANTERN COULTER RAIL as AQUAMAN REY RIVERA as MARTIAN MANHUNTER COULTER RAIL as DARKSEID SEAN POLITE as ORION CDwaver as JOR-EL BRICK7 as LOIS LANE REY RIVERA as JIMMY OLSEN CDwaver as PERRY WHITE SEAN POLITE as DR. EMILL HAMILITON SEAN POLITE as PA KENT LUCASETAK as YOUNG CLARK SEAN POLITE as KALIBAK CDwaver as VANDAL SAVAGE SUDSPEN as KELEX Follow the official Facebook page for new updates on the future of the Justice League https://www.facebook.com/pages/Outbackprime-Productions/475422389206404?ref=hl Please feel free to ask questions on the movie. Feedback is always welcomed and I plan to improve as much as possible in the future.

    [MOC] Gotham Museum Heist

Catwoman and Penguin rush to the Ruby in hope to not be caught. Penguin: Hurry up and do your thing Catwoman: Alright, alright Catwoman used her claws to cut open the glass protecting the ruby as Penguin loaded a gun and pointed it at Catwoman. Penguin: Hands off kitty cat! Suddenly Penguins goons and a guard under Penguin's payroll entered the rob aiming there guns at Catwoman Catwoman: Well looks like i have been set up, your not the only one. Penguin: Ah? Just as the guard loaded his pistol Batman came flying threw the window and kicked the guard in the face as he was coming in for a landing. Penguin opened fire on Catwoman just as she retaliated and used her whip to take Penguin's pistol off him. Batman then jumped to one of the goons that tried to shoot him with his shotgun. He was to slow and was knocked out by Batman, then he proceeded by throwing a Batarang at the second goon. Penguin had seen what has happened and on his back tried to crawl away just to be kicked by Batman. Batman: Its over Cobblepot! Penguin: Arrrh! Catwoman: This should be enough to put him away for good So i combined my desire to make more Dioramas and to make one more story. I think in the future i will do more Comic/Game related stuff in the future instead.
  9. Here are the 8 playable characters from the Batman: Arkham Origins Online mode. I am okay with how this turned out. To start out I would like to talk about the cons with these figures. I am not to happy with my Joker side (Including the Joker) I would of have used the Joker goon face if Myer would let me use gift cards online! The Bane is meh and I think that covers the bad figures. A pro would defiantly have to be the drones! Oh dear I cannot tell you how much I hate those things in the game. My favourite would have to be the one on the left (Bane's one) and the Joker one is another meh. The Bane Merc to the left of him turned out pretty good as well (Its based off the last picture in the loading screen if you play on Banes side) I would have used the Darth Malgus head but I traded it. Batman is a figure from TLG and I modified the TLG Robin figure for this version of him. I think these actually turned out okay. I will defiantly do some more Arkham Game stuff in the future!
  10. The Bat-Bunker is a secret headquarters underneath Wayne Tower established during the tenure of Dick Grayson as Batman and Damian Wayne as Robin. It's intended as a counterpart to the Batcave, but personalised to Grayson's crime-fighting approach and located in the heart of Gotham City. Alfred Pennyworth helped Grayson build the bunker and also runs maintenance. Although the Batcave was originally left functional, Grayson and Pennyworth eventually moved everything into the bunker when a security breach was made by Two-Face. So this was my first time building something comic book based (Besides Scenes) as a full Minifigure scale sized moc. And to be honest i think it turned out ok, When i choose to make this Moc i was reading all the Comics from Grant Morrison's run on Batman and the Bat-Bunker made its first appearance in a Comic i was reading so i took a lot of inspiration and references not only from that title but multiple. As with all comic book locations it looks different in all the multiple titles so i have taken many scenes and location and tried to fit them together. But most of this Moc has come from my own imagination with inspiration from multiple sources Tv, Movie, Comic etc. Wideshot Exterior shots Interior shots Promotional Poster for the Moc This Moc was displayed at Brickvention 2014, Melbourne Australia. Thanks For Visiting!

    MOC: Party At Arkham

Party At Arkham An Arkham Asylum Inspired Build ---- Following a long series of events that could fill up an entire game, Batman faces off against a Titan powered Joker to save Gordon from certain death! As this scene is based off the the location and boss battle against the Joker, the henchmen here too must like in the game, unlock a safe to get firearms. Titan Joker The centerpiece of the build, I build Titan Joker with an emphasis on accuracy and pose-ability. I was going to could, but I’ll just say he has tons of articulation points, allowing large movement in the arms specifically. I did at one point intend to increase the articulation in the hips to allow horizontal leg movement, but I was forced to drop this when it compromised stability too much. Joker’s head was a particular problem that I managed to solve quite nicely. Originally I started with something similar to a cube-dude head. This didn’t work because of the requirements such as the lips and nose. Then, after looking at some more photos, I focused on building a head that was more elongated and pointed, like the Joker in the game. This proved very successful, allowing me to create an accurate head from brow to chin. Enjoy! ~Nemo
  12. Well hello there! Welcome to what is most likely the best review you will ever... well, no. I lied. This is my first review, as well as my first post. So hi! I've been looking forward to some Batman sets tied to the Nolanverse and couldn't resist picking this up. I also thought I'd try my hand at a review. So, here goes. Set Name: The Bat vs. Bane: Tumbler Chase Set #: 76001 Theme: DC Superheroes Pieces: 368 Minifigures: 3 Year of Release: 2013 Price at Release: US $39.99 - AU $69.99 - UK - £39.99 Packaging/Box: Nothing too special here, although the TDKR logo in the bottom corner was somewhat interesting. The art behind the vehicles is actually better than I was expecting, and is somewhat reminiscent of Gotham in the film. I'm not sure why Commissioner Gordon is firing at the Tumbler. Reverse: Contents I was a bit surprised to see multiple booklets in this set, given the size. Aside from that, you get three bags, the standard comic book (which I believe is the same one included with the Arkham Asylum set and others), and a code to download the PC version of the original Lego Batman. While I own a gaming PC, I can't imagine that most of the kids buying or receiving this set do. However, upon further reflection that was really the only viable option, as I don't believe Lego Batman is on the marketplace of either the PS3 or Xbox 360. Cool that they threw it in there regardless! (Adding to my already enormous backlog of unfinished games). Also seemed a bit odd that all the minifigures weren't included in the first bag, but instead each bag contained the parts for one. Bag 1 had Bane, Bag 2 had Batman, etc. My only thought was that they wanted you to build the figure with the respective vehicle, thus Bane in the first bag with the Tumbler. Finally, the stickers. No. Just no. I'm not going to rehash the usual sticker hatred, I don't think anyone prefers them to printed pieces. But why did the designers feel the need to add what are essentially Bane logos/mascots to the tumbler in this set? Why would there be an image of Bane's mask on the front and hatch of the tumbler. It makes absolutely no sense, and it detracts horribly from what is already a sketchy recreation of the vehicle in the film. The same can be said about the bat logo on The Bat (you wouldn't have known the vehicle called "The Bat" belonged to Batman if you didn't see that logo?), but at least it's not quite as glaring. Extremely disappointing either way. Parts Due to a complete lack of competence on my part, I only remembered to take a picture of the contents of bag one splayed out on the table. Pictures aside, rest assured bag two and three do indeed contain Batman, Gordon and The Bat. As you can see, quite a few tan pieces. The sadly not pictured bags two and three contain blue and black pieces, which of course is quite unusual. No, really. They do! Minifigures As far as I'm concerned, this is easily the best part of the set. I'm a huge fan of the film trilogy, and the opportunity to get my hands on a Bane minifgure was something I couldn't miss. Thus, let's start with Bane: Reverse: My own excitement from the fact that this even exists aside, the detailing is pretty good. Bane's mask has a nice silver paint, and the plates on his armor also have a darker metallic paint which looks pretty great. While I would have preferred a molded headpiece over the printed mask, it still looks great even with the weird split between the print on the sides of his head. Aside from that, the legs are a bit barren but the lack of leg printing makes sense in this case. Batman: The suit printing is great, although perhaps more inspired by the design of the suit in The Dark Knight. The lack of some basic leg printing is disappointing, I think even just some kneecap bits would have been incredible. Not clear on the grey color either, but it still looks fantastic. Reverse: Back printing is excellent as well, especially the metallic ribbing. Without cowl: Commissioner Gordon Not much to comment on here. The swat uniform is pretty much what I expected, and it looks exactly like a minifig version of Gary Oldman. I'm satisfied. Could it have been better? Sure. But all in all, it's fine. Build I didn't document the entire build, but I compiled a fair chunk of it. Nothing crazy to comment on, just a fairly standard build with some of the new-ish SNOT pieces seen in, for example, the Arkham Asylum set. I'll let the pictures take it from here: Tumbler: The Bat: Completed Set I'm going to be a bit critical here, so be prepared. Well, maybe a bit of an overstatement, it's not going to be that bad. Let's start with the tumbler! Doesn't look too bad! However, there are a few flaws. For example, the design. (I said I was going to be critical. I meant it) While it retains the distinctive look of the tumbler, it is easily one of the worst designs I've seen of the tumbler. The oversized tumbler from the Batman Begins set a few years ago was better, most of the MOC's I see are much better, and to be completely honest it's just disappointing. It's also way too small. There's the usual flick fire bit, hidden by some flaps (which I definitely appreciate, I'm not a fan of the aesthetic qualities of the flickfire setup). From the front: Definitely a tumbler. It's worth noting that when a minifigure is in the cockpit, their head is up near the hatch, not by the window. Hmm. The flame is kind of cool, and somewhat accurate to the films. However, the lack of double tires is completely unacceptable. That is a defining feature of the real vehicle's design, and the lack of it here is just bad. If I had to choose only one thing to fix about this set, it would doubtless be this glaring flaw. I could go on for days about how disappointing this is, so I'll just move on. One more picture, from the side: I lied again, I still have one more with Bane: The Bat: Not sure why I had the wings folded flat in the last two, but now you know it's possible! Which is totally why I did that. Yes... completely planned. Oddly enough, I actually like this model better than the Tumbler. Does the cockpit design remind me of something I built a decade ago? Absolutely. It's not very good. It's also worth noting that literally almost ever MOC I've seen of the bat is better than this one. But once fully assembled and articulated properly, it's a pretty cool looking vehicle that does look essentially like the one in the film. My only real complaint is the blue highlights. I hate them. They have no purpose, and they really detract from the set. Also, Nightwing. Ratings: Minifigures: 8/10 - Bane is great, Batman is pretty great but could be better, and Gordon is kind of just... there. He exists, and I can't find anything objectively bad about him, but... I feel that it could have been better. Parts: 7/10 - Nothing special. I don't have a lot of tan pieces, and there was one or two new SNOT pieces, but just an average selection. Design: 5/10 - It's pretty bad. The tumbler is missing significant, defining features and is not movie accurate at all. The Bane mask logo stickers are almost unforgivable. The Bat is merely ok, but the cockpit is dated, and the blue trim is unnecessary and overall detracting. Price: 6/10 - Not bad. I paid $39 USD, and I feel like I got my money's worth, which I've only thought before about the UCS R2-D2. However, the price in several other regions, specifically the U.K, is absurd. Playability: 8/10 - Playability seems to be the only thing this set was designed in mind of, with the tumbler and The Bat being very sturdy, and of course the atrocious stickers. Yes, I mention the stickers here because the only reason I can imagine someone justifying their existence is to make sure it looks cool enough for the demographic it's targeted at. Overall: 6/10 - I want to like this set. Honestly. And for the most part, I do! It has some cool elements, and the minifigures are amazing, especially if your a fan of the films. For me, even with all the problems this set has, it was worth the purchase because of the property it was based on. However, that isn't enough. I hadn't purchased any sets from any themes aside from Star Wars until this point, and as far as design goes I have to say this is the worst Lego set I own. Even the 7144 Slave 1 I own from over a decade ago was a better depiction of the source material than the vehicles in this set. Unless you love the films, I can't recommend this set, and even as someone who does love the films I was quite disappointed with almost every aspect of it. I'm crossing my fingers that future sets in TDKR sub-theme will be much, much better designed. Thanks for reading, or glancing at the pictures as I often do myself. As I mentioned, this is my first review so any tips would be appreciated and put to use in the future. Hope you enjoyed! Edit (1/07/2013): I updated the original pricing score to reflect the pricing in other regions.

    Lego batcave 7783 help please?

My boyfriend gave the lego batcave set 7783 for christmas and he took the whole thing apart so I could have the fun of building it. Big mistake on his part because I'm trying to build the flying batship thing its the third vehicle you build with the big black wings on it. Well when I get to the second step I don't get what to do! http://www.peeron.com/scans/7783-1 The directions are here on page 12 but I don't get what pieces I use in the second step can someone please lend me a hand?
  18. So when the list of names for the 2014 Batman Sets at the end of one list i saw on one list was a Green Lantern exclusive set. It was been over two years since the SDCC Green Lantern figure so the time would be appropriate. Here are the reasons i think why this could happen and why i think this won't happen Why this could happen - We have not got a Green Lantern set before - For the 2014 set list there are four DC sets and five Marvel sets - Lego may be trying to branch out to other heroes like they did when the launched the DC line they did a Superman/Wonder Woman set instead of heroes appearing in Batman sets like The Flash and Aquaman Why i think this could not happen - The Arkham Asylum set was not on the recent list of sets to retire. - Sets are already popping up on store shelfs in some places and i think we would have scene some pics by now. So whats you take on this?

Hello!! this is my Fav Bat Car ever, from Tim Burton Movies I know its not the Perfect replica, but capture most of iconic details :)
  25. Just received my BTTF DeLorean set and absolutely love it! Along with StickKim's DarkKnight Tumbler design, the Time Machine is by far one of my favorite vehicles in LEGO. The figures are very well done and I like the design of the car (aside from the hood pieces), though I know there is debate by lots on that. The pics below show TLG Back to the Future set (you can see the Flux Capacitor) with the Marty McFly and Doc Brown figs. Below that, Stickkim's Tumbler and my custom Dark Knight Batman (design copyrighted). Anyway, wasn't sure what forum this belonged in, as it had both official LEGO sets and a custom designed vehicle and minifigure. What's your favorite vehicle - custom or TLG??
