Hi everyone I'd like to present my latest MOC, a new modular building called Bricks & Blooms. I hope you like it. Bricks & Blooms is a modular Garden Centre built over 3 levels on a 32 x 32 base plate. in total it uses 2587 bricks. The facade is supposed to give the impression of being 2 buildings side by side but it is of course just one single building. The front to back measurement of the building is quite narrow, similar to Parisian restaurant. This is because I wanted to maintain plenty of space at the rear of the building for the main outside garden centre / plant sale area. THE MINIFIGURES I've included 6 mini figs and a cat with this MOC. Left to right they are: 2 customers (a father and his daughter), The garden centre shop keeper and gardener, the chef and the Aquatics shop assistant. THE GARDEN CENTRE AND GROUND LEVEL DETAILS The main garden centre area of the store is situated on the ground level. Outside on the street, I've included a tree, bench and lots of plants and flowers for sale. The garden centre also has a fruit and veg stall that sells it's produce directly to passers by on the street. Inside the shop I've included the cashier desk and more plants and gardening tools for sale including a little lawn mower side-build. Here is the interior of the fruit and veg stall that is accessed through a door at the back of the cashier desk. A door at the back of the shop leads out in to the main outdoor gardening area. Here I've included a large glass canopy covering rows of tables holding bedding plants. There are also more flowers, pots and other gardening products including a water feature. The stairs at the back of the building lead up to level 2. LEVEL 2 - CAFE/RESTAURANT No garden centre would be complete without its own cafe/restaurant. The cafe on level 2 has a fully equipped kitchen with serving desk and tables and chairs for the minifigs. There is also a small balcony in the cafe that looks out on to the street below. LEVEL 3 - AQUATICS Many garden centres here in the UK also have departments that specialise in pet fish and Aquatics. Bricks & Blooms is no exception and has it's own dedicated Aquatics section on level 3. The Cat below seems to have its eye on the goldfish. The door behind the desk leads out on to a small roof terrace area. FLOWER CART The model also includes a flower cart. THE FINISHED MODEL The picture below shows Bricks & Blooms combined with my other modulars and vehicle MOC's. Left to right they are. The Queen Bricktoria Convenience Store Brick Square Post Office Bricks & Blooms The Old Workhorse - Traction Engine LEGO IDEAS I have submitted Bricks & Blooms as a LEGO Ideas project. If you like the model I'd be really grateful if you'd be kind enough to head over to LEGO Ideas and give the model your votes. You can find the project at the following link. Many thanks! http://bit.ly/bricksblooms I hope you like my newest MOC and thanks very much for reading. As always, there are many more pics on my Flickr page and feel free to leave comments and let me know what you think.

Hello everyone. My most recent moc is a streamlined bus depot inspired by ones constructed in the USA from the 1930's to the 1950's. I've included some typical features of the time such as a vertical tower, glass blocks window and porthole windows within the doors. I enjoy making older vehicles so I've added one here to complete the scene. As usual you can find them on my flick page here if you wish. Cheers! Andrew

Hello! A year and a half ago, I saw somewhere on Flickr a building assembled on something like that. The idea came up to assemble an entire city from such buildings. At first standart basis were used, then doubled and quadruplet, and sometimes more. During this time two cities were built. I will share renders for those who are intrested. First city Original here I will continue to add buildings in the comments. Thank you for attention :)

After some work in my (not so much ) freetime, I almost finished my project for a F1 racetrack with paddocks. I started to work on it some months ago, due to I like F1 and motorsports and I was partially inspired by old LEGO sets I played with when I was a child. First design idea was based on old road plates, but I cannot find a plate that really matched my idea and needs. So I decided to move on to new LEGO modular roads and I think it was a very good choice: they gave you ability to reach high details level. I was able to reproduce racetrack start line, cars positioning lines, pit lane markers and so on. In addiction to it I was able to add studs on pitlane so you can attach mechanics minifigs. The top section of each team-box can be detached easily and can be swapped togheter as you prefer. I designed some race commentary rooms with microphones, race statistics on monitor and so on and a podium part. The podium section is two team-box wide, fully detachable and has a pilots after race interview room on the back. MOC has width compatible with standard 32x32 road plates (2 of them) so it can be easily added to an existing layout. I also tried to imagine some stickers to be placed on podium section top panels. I tried to design this as modular and extendable as possible and now I'm working also on the part for the spectators which will be attached in front of paddocks (where there's the small green grass part) and it will be also compatible with 32x32 road plates. I added my MOC to LEGO Ideas, if you like it you can support me here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/a914f1ad-f2da-4ec9-80df-009c2073b7c1 NOTE: I cannot edit the project on Ideas yet, so some images here are newer and a bit different. In a couple of weeks I will be able to edit the images on Ideas as well :D

Hey guys! I recenty designed a LEGO Opera House which I want to present to you here: I wanted a design that shows a closed building from all sides, but with the option to get a good access to the interior. Therefore, the roof and the first floor is detachable: But for a real access to everything, or to get a different shape with a long front facade and an open backside, the two halves of the main room can be taken off and attached at the sides of the front section: If you like my Opera House. you have the chance to support it on LEGO IDEAS, to improve its chances to become a real LEGO set: LEGO Opera House on LEGO IDEAS (As I submitted this model to IDEAS, only 3,000 parts were allowed which led to an untiled first floor or the less-detailed roof) Thanks for every one who supports my idea! :) Hope you like the model! Cheers, Aldar Beedo

Here is my other Via Rail train, The Corridor. To see more pictures, please see Via Rail Canada - The Corridor. I'd love to hear any feedback, comments, questions, or criticisms. It's a big set, so let's tackle it one car at a time. :) If you like it, please support on LEGO Ideas if you believe it would make a great official set.

Hola, I wanted to get back to Eurobricks to show some of my MOCs, and I wanted to enjoy the release of Final Fantasy VII on PS4 to conclude my Midgar miniscale model. I literally spent several years until I get the technic and receive the last parts and finish the building. It is based on the 1997 version. I can still improve it by adding smoke on the Mako reactors and details on the slums underneath the plate, but here I wanted to share my work with you :) Feel free to comment and to visit my Flickr page to see more pictures ! But please forgive the poor quality of the pictures, I don't exactly have a professional stuff... Hello! This is my first time posting a moc so let me know if I can improve anything. 41B4834C-6DAC-4F9F-836E-CFEDF4952B98 by Bob, on Flickr I made this a year ago but have recently revisited it to redo parts and make it better! The ground floor is dedicated to the garage and a small holding cell. This would mainly be used for over night prisoners, higher risk criminals would be transferred to a bigger facility. 49D03DCD-7CDB-4B73-865F-19C63E596D80 by Bob, on Flickr The whole build is modular so the floors can be easily lifted away for easy access to the interior 3B42090C-32F0-4038-B444-D92493EA6186 by Bob, on Flickr Unfortunately due to space constraints, a standard car just sticks out a little bit from the garage. However, it can fit the small undercover police car and the police motorcycle. Once I put this in my city (currently dismantled), the 2 police cars and truck will be stored in a yard behind the station. Besides, it makes more sense to me to store things that cannot be locked inside a garage. BD0F2094-0795-49B0-9AF1-21265188A57B by Bob, on Flickr 51CA1179-CE8F-4C6A-8A67-EC89A911287E by Bob, on Flickr The 2nd floor houses the main area for the officers. A divider wall separates the work stations from the rest of the room. Currently I have it set up so an officer could stay at the station 24/7, sorta like a security guard. E7B2BB48-61B3-4FDC-BD0C-5DDDB661E32E by Bob, on Flickr 149C6413-4225-484F-BD3A-CDFBFA86C596 by Bob, on Flickr The far desk is a sort of forensics area, with a computer to document finds and plenty of space to do all the necessary forensic stuff. It seems an officer is working on a strange case involving a pan and some money. Wonder what that could be? 448B3EFD-0D7E-4DC5-AF45-E40FDC2BAB93 by Bob, on Flickr The other desk houses the dispatch area, with a computer and some sort of station that has a mic and some gauges. A59CDAC6-CC52-4EB2-9277-F689545D263E by Bob, on Flickr On the other side, there is a simple bed and a cabinet containing some food and utensils. On the counter, there is a plate with fresh subs from the local deli, and a tasty donut from the coffee shop. Next to that is the all important coffee maker. 477B89F7-C1FE-4A2B-AFE6-330F5B3E56B2 by Bob, on Flickr Finally, on the roof, a simple overhang with some tiles on top completes the main structure part of the roof. On top of that, a big police sign lets the public aware of what the building is. Also on the roof, a security camera records the entrance of the station. Eventually I need to find a better place to mount it but it works for now. 17D4C4F8-3B07-4A0A-97BE-C77CB0005695 by Bob, on Flickr The 2 main vehicles that serve the police station Sorry if this got long, I like talking about my LEGO builds. Please leave any feedback that you have so I can improve my future mocs! hopefully the pictures work- first time using Flickr

hello this is my idea for a city/town set for a better Lego bus. the vehicles are built in modules to allow custom changes that a person may want for their bus. the modular design also makes it possible to make longer buses using more sets since they have extra pieces for doing so. the sets will include alternate instructions for making the buses into longer articulated buses for Bus Rapid Transit systems in a city. these sets will be cheap since each set only has about 213 bricks in it. don't let the number of bricks fool you, however, as the set will still have good playability. some of the features that the bus has is a folding chair for a wheelchair to be seated as well as the ability to customize the vehicles with more ease. when two or more sets are combined for one big articulated bus, theres even more playability because the bus now pivots at a joint or two. theres also the extra pieces that you get from just one set that can go towards other projects if needed. my goal is to get to about 1000 supporters on this project, if not enough to make it a real set that everyone can enjoy. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/624c9c1a-a950-4524-b7ae-6ff372c1cb08

Just been browsing the store and saw this. https://www.lego.com/en-ch/product/road-tape-854048 initially hopeful that this might have solved the issue of placing roads between modulars, but i think its going to be too narrow and repetitive skid marks and grass verge drawn into the road kinda ruin it. I’m interested in thoughts to persuade me differently.

Once I have visit city Ternopil (Ukraine), and saw there a nice church. Since that I wanted to recreate it in bricks. It is not exactly that church (and not in Ternopil), but also not bad, as for me. For the second tower I just haven't parts. Also I haven't parts for square in front, so I made just stands for small scenes of citylife and unite all in one with pipes. So free your imagination ;-)

Hello all! I have begun planning for a MOC I am making in my goal to create a realistic depiction of a bustling metropolis city, heavily influenced by New York City. It would be a police station! I am not an experienced builder (as in I have never made a modular MOC before), and I thought the best way to come up with a design was to lay out my options, by scouting around the Internet for other existing MOCs are real precincts in NYC. However, I have noticed many of these Police Station MOCs are just "big grey boxes" (I don't mean this in a mean way, but they are largely grey and they are very rectangular), and the real precincts are decrepit, brick boxes! I want my station to look nice, have texture, etc. etc., but I don't want it to be just one big box. The coolest station I saw so far was this French Police Station (I forget the guy's name, but I believe he posted this on Flickr; his name was French too), but the problem is that its architecture is obviously French in nature, and would look odd in my American city. I have come here for advice. Specifically, how do I make my station look "nice" (i.e. doesn't look like a City set, it has texture, it looks like the great MOCs I always see here on Eurobricks!) and realistic without it looking like one big grey box? Any ideas for sources, or any existing MOCs you really like that fit my criteria (Urban, American Police Station)?

I have for a long time, wanted to share some pictures from my LEGO city/train layout, but as you all know, a LEGO city is never completely finished, so now I choose to share anyway. The project started in 2015 where I found interest for LEGO again as an AFOL, and started collecting trains, primarily 9V. Over time I have been able to make this layout. There are still things missing in the city, empty building space next to the gas station, and the Modular houses must also be changed to custom buildings at some point. I am also still missing to finish the harbor area, but it will probably come later I don't know if the windturbine should stand there, but for now it does. 1 by SpinX125, on Flickr 2 by SpinX125, on Flickr 3 by SpinX125, on Flickr 4 by SpinX125, on Flickr 5 by SpinX125, on Flickr 6 by SpinX125, on Flickr 7 by SpinX125, on Flickr 8 by SpinX125, on Flickr 9 by SpinX125, on Flickr 10 by SpinX125, on Flickr 11 by SpinX125, on Flickr 12 by SpinX125, on Flickr 13 by SpinX125, on Flickr 14 by SpinX125, on Flickr More pictures: https://www.flickr.com/photos/137767198@N08/albums/72157713834197663 In some areas I have found inspiration from other builders and therefore credit must be given to them. Eleonor Boat Restaurant is a typical restaurant built on a river boat. The set includes a small marina and 9 mini figures. Eleonor is a modular LEGO Boat Restaurant. It is designed to be compatible with existing modular LEGO buildings and it is constructed on a 32 x 48 base plate from 1837 pieces. The model is made up from 2 modular levels featuring a cafe/restaurant and a hold with engine room and galley. Level 1 - The restaurant The restaurant has access from the marina crossing a small bridge. On the inside there are the counter and the kitchen, tables for customers and a piano designed to create a romantic atmosphere. The interiors are decorated with many details: table lamps, wall lamps, curtains, the counter with the cash register, the stove, the sink and the piano. At the stern and bow there are two outdoor spaces provided with tables and umbrellas. The roof has a window that enable the light to come from above directly to the dining room and to a little control tower where the boat commands are managed. Level 2 - The galley Below deck is located the restaurant galley, the engine at the stern and in the bow, two camp beds for the cook and the old captain. The galley is full of stocks for the restaurant such as: barrels, crates with fish, crabs and lobsters, barrels of fuel for the engine. Thank you! Thank you for checking out my project and for the support. https://ideas.lego.com/content/project/link/a0285bdc-2989-4960-9687-1efd19e50766

In The Netherlands, people are hunting for toilet paper because the Covid-19 crisis. People are afraid the toilet paper runs out of stock, so they go to the supermarket to buy as much as possible toilet paper rolls. We have to take care of each other and the toilet paper. I'm glad to introduce Boulevard des Lumières, my very first big 'Moc'! I started this project in march 2015 and abandoned it a few months later due to professional and family reasons. Then I restarted it again last September and finished it now in January 2020. The idea was to create a building inspired in the Haussmann style present in most of central Paris, without any piece count limit that would keep the modular compatibility and the minifig scale. So this is not a direct replica of any particular one. The street name is also fictional, there is no 'Boulevard des Lumières' in Paris, but its spirit is highly Parisian. Also, I'm adding some extra info and videos in the next days in my Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lepralego/. Any suggestions, questions or comments are welcome. Cheers!

Hello dear Lego fans, After having signed up here in the Eurobricks forums in 2011, I posted a new thread in the "Hello my name is..." section about my plans to create my own Lego City layout. Now almost 9 years later, I can finally show you some of the progress that has been made just at the beginning of the new decade :) Good things come to those who wait. Renovations on the attic are finally complete (apart from the lighting) and we now have around 110 m² to unleash our imagination. The current plans of the Lego city layout add up to around 60m² in size and they are, as you can see in the video, far from finished. However, I thought you might be interested in some of the things that my girlfriend and me were designing in the last couple of days. The name of the city is still unknown, but the overall design has started to take shape with a downtown area, which includes all the modulars, and shops, a residential area, an amusement park, a winter village, a train yard and a harbor/beach area. I would also like to add an airport to the city and some of the classic monorail tracks have been placed already. We are also getting into MOC a little bit and we will add our own creations to the layout as soon as they look nice! The commentary of the video is in German, but I am trying to add English subtitles into the system. Please let us know what you think here in the forums or in the comments section of YouTube. I will keep you posted on future updates if you like :) Note: All of the parts used in this layout are original Lego parts, except for some of the baseplates. I thought that lime green in the Hogwarts castle area might look cool, but I will probably exchange it for regular grass green baseplates in the near future. Thank you so much for taking a look! :) Christof
