My entry for Series 11 of the BrickLink Designer Program - please vote if you have a moment! https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-11/5033/Armada-Galleon-Esperanza Legendary for the amount of gold that they carry, the treasure galleons of the Imperial Armada are also heavily armed in order to fend off any daredevil Pirates. Esperanza features an integrated mechanism to run out the cannons on each side. In between the cannons on the gundeck is the massive cargo hold, that is filled to the brim with gold! I worked hard to ensure that Minifigures can still stand below deck and the interior is fully accessible on both the gundeck and the great cabin above it. The pilot house contains a functioning steering mechanism - using a historically accurate whipstaff instead of a ship's wheel: Galleons were built before the ship's wheel was invented (around1700), so they all would have been steered in this fashion:

Hello, and welcome to the Royal Nest! The updated Griffin Castle is back for the BrickLink Designer Program Series 11, you can find my submissions here: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-11/main.page?page=1&s=tlg The round bastions, the decorated main gate, Gothic windows, the yellow half-timbered house, the plants, and many other details make this castle a worthy home for the king of the griffin faction. It can be displayed either closed or in multiple open formats, and in the open configurations, the interior becomes accessible. It includes a throne room, the king's bedroom, an attic with a treasure chest, a dining hall, a kitchen with a masonry oven, a blacksmith's forge with an anvil, a prison in the basement, and servants' quarters. All the doors are functional (though the one at the top of the staircase is blind). The set includes 9 minifigures (8 characters and 1 skeleton) and some animals, including a horse, offering plenty of play opportunities. Notable changes from Series 10: Much more detailed Gothic window and additional greenery on the main tower The color scheme and flags have been adjusted to better represent the Griffin faction The King now carries a faction flag Dimensions of the castle (closed): Width: 51.2 studs / 16.1 in / 40.9 cm Length: 51.9 studs / 16.4 in / 41.5 cm Height: 55.2 studs / 17.4 in / 44.1 cm The set is not actually based on a real building, but was inspired by some famous castles. Hello, Meet my prison bus! While not a direct copy of a specific model, it is packed with cool vintage style. It looks right at home alongside Speed Champions cars and can star in any LEGO City scene. The real showstopper is the clean, brick-built front mudguard and hood, it's what makes this vehicle truly unique. Hello, More than just a truck, it’s a rolling home for rockstars, the Flame Tourer the "big brother" of my Flame Monster is back for BDP Series 11: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-11/main.page?page=1&s=tlg This project was inspired by a favorite childhood toy, a 57 Chevy Matchbox car with an iconic flame pattern. While the truck is a modern long hauler, it carries that classic spirit through its unique brick built decoration. It is part of the same team as my Flame Monster project and they even share a custom team logo. The set fits perfectly with Speed Champions cars and can be a great addition to any LEGO City. Just add a crowd and let the show begin! I have added many authentic details like a front bumper with integrated lights and a custom Flame Tourer license plate. The front also features a custom grille logo that matches the one on the Flame Monster. The most striking feature is the brick-built flame job that covers both the truck and the trailer. The set includes 4 minifigures. You get the veteran driver in his brown jacket and Hawaiian shirt plus the three band members. The cool lead singer has short orange hair, the drummer wears shades and the keyboardist has brown hair. They all wear matching black outfits with a cool bulldog logo on their shirts. Play features and details: Detailed interiors: Both the truck and the trailer have removable roofs for easy access Driver cabin: The truck includes a dedicated sleeper area for the driver Mobile home: The trailer is fully equipped with a sofa, bunk beds, a small kitchen and a bathroom Mobile stage: The trailer and its lower compartment store all the stage components and musical instruments Stage backdrop: The rear door of the trailer can be used as a backdrop for the show Extra storage: A lower compartment with a folding accordion door holds the rest of the gear Functional doors: All doors are fully operational to make the play experience even better Update for Series 11: Optimized build: The total part count was significantly reduced from 1625 to 1499 elements Refined stage: Some stage details have been redesigned for a cleaner look New outfits: The band members received updated black outfits New branding: The truck now features the shared team logo and a Flame Tourer license plate I hope you enjoy this set. Hey ! This is my submission for the BDP series 11, please go vote for it as soon as you can ! Link to the submission : [The Sakura Express] [BrickLink] You may have recognized it, the Sakura Express is a modified version of my Shinkansen N700S, designed to better fit the rules of the contest. My previous N700S design was judged too close to the real model (I take it as a compliment haha !) so the bricklink team asked me to change its livery. That explains the pink stripe, and the flower logo on the side, that I linked to the cherry blossoms (Sakura in japanese). Link to the WIP of the Shinkansen N700S : The model is still composed of three cars, I added all the detailed interior and some removable roof : The front car with the driver's cab, some 1st class seating and the train staff office. The pantograph car which can either feature some engine details or the components necessary for the motorization (not included) The 2nd class car which also has some seating and Japanese toilets that feature a sliding door. Hi ! About a month ago I teased this project, and now I’m opening a topic to follow the WIP of my Shinkansen MOC. My goal is to submit it to the BrickLink Designer Program Series 11 in April. My inspiration is the Shinkansen N700S, the latest version of the high speed train that connects Tokyo to Fukuoka via Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka, and more. It’s definitely not an easy train to reproduce in LEGO because of its proportions and overall shape. It’s extremely flat and very close to the ground. The nose is terribly very complex. Let’s start with the front end. It took me several months and many iterations to achieve a result I’m satisfied with. I finally got something that works thanks to the many slopes, wedges, and curved slopes LEGO has released in recent years. The second problem I’ve had to deal with so far is the bogies. On the real train, part of them is covered by skirts. That means I had to design bogies without using the LEGO parts normally intended for that purpose. Since I want to submit this MOC to BDP11, I can’t use unofficial parts or illegal techniques. So I had to get creative to design bogies with as little friction as possible. I’m quite happy with the solution I ended up with : the 7L axle only rubs on a single stud. I’ve done some tests and it rolls almost as well as pre-assembled bogies. Here’s where things stand today. There are still a few challenges I already know I’ll have to face: fitting powered bogies into one of the cars (they are much larger than my custom bogies), and making sure seated minifigures can fit inside the train (there won’t be enough space for them to stand). My goal for the BDP 11 is to build, one end car, one intermediate car and one power car with the pantograph. Maybe I will build a second end car for myself to have a full 4 cars consist.
