I have a question about this image, does anyone here know where it comes from? Was it ever part of a catalouge or a poster? I would really like to get a high res version of it in some form. Would love to hear if you know something!

With this MOC I wanted to create the feeling of a working class area in Sweden during the 70s/80s. The car is a Volvo 242 DL from 1975. Hope you like it!

Who doesn't love the Moonbase Alpha Universe borns during the TVShow aired from 1975 to 1977 called "SPACE: 1999" and produced by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson creators of other cult series like the Thunderbirds and UFO. The eagles are iconic spacecrafts from the serie which I always wanted to build in Lego. Since few time Lego production give me the opportunity to get some parts which fit perfectly with the design of these. Of course I made them take part of Lego.Ideas in order to make a real fleet, one day... You can support this project if you want. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/119421

ZOINKS! Shaggy turns out to be one hell of a hotrodder, turning his Dodge A-100 van into a pro-street pavement-pounder. Inspired by the full-size-engined/half-sized-bodied Zingers, the famous customs of the early 70's showcar-scene. The engine is a 2:1 scale full blown V6 race-engine. It's got dragslicks in the back, a wheelie-bar, and a drag-shute. To really appreciate this car it's best to compare it with the standard boring original cartoon version.

In this scene I wanted to create something atmospheric and mystical combined with a feeling of the 70s.

I saw a video clip from an old 80s TV show, where there was a scene similiar to this one. I thought that scene represented a kitchen from the 70/80s very well, and I got very inspired to build it in LEGO! I thought it was interesting to build in a larger scale, because some LEGO parts can then resemble new things (such as the lamp and the blinds) that they normally would not in minifig scale.

Hello Eurobrickers! Today I want to show you old race car from '70 years. I built it almost 3 years ago and from that time car was put in wardrobe until today. It has V6 supercharged engine placed right behind drivers seat, disc brakes on each wheel and big spoiler at the rear. This is only my vision of that kind of car it's not a copy of anything. Functionality is very poor but it has a openable trunk and steerable front wheels It is built mainly from 8258 parts and stickers from Crane Truck were used as well. Diameters: 35 stud lenght, 11 wide and 6 high. Weight about 240g. Gallery: Link to BS gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=529491
