Hello, More than just a truck, it’s a rolling home for rockstars, the Flame Tourer the "big brother" of my Flame Monster is back for BDP Series 11: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-11/main.page?page=1&s=tlg This project was inspired by a favorite childhood toy, a 57 Chevy Matchbox car with an iconic flame pattern. While the truck is a modern long hauler, it carries that classic spirit through its unique brick built decoration. It is part of the same team as my Flame Monster project and they even share a custom team logo. The set fits perfectly with Speed Champions cars and can be a great addition to any LEGO City. Just add a crowd and let the show begin! I have added many authentic details like a front bumper with integrated lights and a custom Flame Tourer license plate. The front also features a custom grille logo that matches the one on the Flame Monster. The most striking feature is the brick-built flame job that covers both the truck and the trailer. The set includes 4 minifigures. You get the veteran driver in his brown jacket and Hawaiian shirt plus the three band members. The cool lead singer has short orange hair, the drummer wears shades and the keyboardist has brown hair. They all wear matching black outfits with a cool bulldog logo on their shirts. Play features and details: Detailed interiors: Both the truck and the trailer have removable roofs for easy access Driver cabin: The truck includes a dedicated sleeper area for the driver Mobile home: The trailer is fully equipped with a sofa, bunk beds, a small kitchen and a bathroom Mobile stage: The trailer and its lower compartment store all the stage components and musical instruments Stage backdrop: The rear door of the trailer can be used as a backdrop for the show Extra storage: A lower compartment with a folding accordion door holds the rest of the gear Functional doors: All doors are fully operational to make the play experience even better Update for Series 11: Optimized build: The total part count was significantly reduced from 1625 to 1499 elements Refined stage: Some stage details have been redesigned for a cleaner look New outfits: The band members received updated black outfits New branding: The truck now features the shared team logo and a Flame Tourer license plate I hope you enjoy this set. Last Wednesday, September 6th, I was kindly granted an early entrance to the LEGO House with a camera and here's the resulting video. Please keep in mind that the House will have more to offer when it officially opens on September 28th, and that there was still some work in progress on several exhibits. This weekend the swedish exhibition Klossfestivalen hade it's 5th run. The show Swedish AFOLs teamed up with MVL Designs to give you a tour of all the builds. For all of you that was not able to visit Sweden. Hope you enjoy it ?

(from the festival website) I had went to Port Washington, Wisconsin's Maritime Heritage Festival, and took a self-guided tour of the Tall Ship Peacemaker. I figured I would post pictures of my tour to provide inspiration for more realistic MOCs that we construct. The vessel is a Barquentine Rigged vessel, and its interior construction is apparently based upon the Cutty Shark. Below are specifications of this vessel provided by the website for this vessel. It's accessed from the lower quarter deck and is located at the stern. It contains all modern furnishings. Here are some pictures of the bow. And here's a close up of the bell. It's located on the fore/main mast. Well sums up my tour of the vessel, and none of you have to pay $6 per person for admittance.

I was lucky enough to get the place on the first one, from May 5th to May 8th! Can't wait for it, this is going to be the longest 6 months wait in my life!

Hello, I’m excited to share my new MOC, the "Flame Tourer" — a black concert truck adorned with brick-built flames - inspired by my childhood favorite, a similarly decorated ’57 Chevy Matchbox car. It’s now submitted to the Bricklink Designer Program (BDP) Series 8: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-8/2924/Flame-Tourer It pairs perfectly with Speed Champions cars and it is great for LEGO City too – just add a crowd and start the show! It includes many details like a front bumper with integrated lights and a registration plate, sleek modern headlights with turn signals, and a distinctive grill featuring a custom logo and frame. Stickers are not used to keep the flexibility of the parts in further builds. I tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The set includes 4 minifigures and offers plenty of playability. Both the truck and trailer feature removable roof assemblies, revealing highly detailed interiors. The truck cabin includes a driver’s seat with steering wheel, detailed dashboard, gear shift, passenger seat, and a sleeper area with a lamp. The trailer contains a cozy living space with a sofa, bunk bed, mini kitchen, and a functional bathroom (toilet and shower). It also includes the most elements of a mobile stage and musical instruments. The remaining stage components are stored in the trailer's left-side lower storage compartment, which features a practical accordion-style folding door for easy access. The trailer's rear door can double as a stage backdrop, see picture 9. All doors in the set are fully functional, enhancing the play experience - and of course you can assemble the stage and let the show begin! I hope you enjoy this set.
