I bought 2, one for my great grandson and one for me!....next month it`s the mini build TIE Bomber, could be the one that came with one of the now discontinued "Planets" sets (that looked like cool Christmas baubles).

[MOC] Batman`s new Batmobile for Offroad Terrain
r5-j2 replied to badchriss's topic in LEGO Licensed
I really like these..they have a real cool "I mean business!" look to them ..the "riot-control" version is my favourite...also as I `ve already posted, there is a Ninjago Tumbler out now that could blend nicely into these Badchris concepts.... -
Just seen this on Jangbricks, it`s only £25 and has side mounted pop-out launchers that Lucius Fox would love!.With a color change and some imagination, this could be a cool Bat-buggy...what do you folks think?...............

I`m about to watch it for the first time!..(a friend has loaned her very old dvd copy to me), so should I be afraid!?...........anyway and more importantly ,ACPin has built an epic Howard figure that looks brilliant!!

Ghostbusters (Reboot) 2016 sets rumors and discussion
r5-j2 replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Me too, let`s wait and see the movie, cos the Lego sets look great...at least in this new version we won`t be straining to see the "busters" thru constant clouds of ciggie smoke!..(I re-watched the original and jeez those guys liked a cigarette or 5 ,didn`t they?) -
Thanks Jase!

Hello everybody;....I`ve been abroad and had limited internet access, so if this question has been dealt with , then I`m sorry to be going over old ground..but I just saw this on the Brick Show and I`m desperate to get it for the Vision and Hawkeye figures...(Spidey ain`t bad either)...I`ve just got back into getting some DC based Lego ...but this Marvel tanker set has jumped to the top of my wants list! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypouzi9N-Rg.... Thanks everybody! Kenny

All good points, well made, this hopefully will mean that LEGO`s next UCS set will be real proper UCS set, not another "mis-fire" like this p.o.s.

Civil War Set 76047; Black Panther Jet; little tidy-up
r5-j2 replied to r5-j2's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks for the kind comments,I think the set designer needed to get some contrast into this set, because there is so much black in it, including Panther himself, but this vibrant green seems a strange choice. Light grey or even some white would have worked inside the cock-pit, making Black Panther stand out more, I used grey to replace the green jet exhausts, but silver would have been even better , there a couple of silver studs under the tail-unit, they really stand out, so why didn`t LEGO use these options. Also I have gotten rid of the gap at the cock-pit, which could have been done at the design stage in a neater fashion than I did it .Anyway that`s the moaning over!, it is a great very solid build and as I said before, it`s worth every penny. Take care Kenny -

I`ve started on my trio of civil war sets, with the Black Panther Pursuit; first thing to say is that is worth every penny of £30.00, it really was a fun build and the Black Panther Figure is so good!.The only fly in the ointment for me was the use of a really yucky green colour in the build of the jet and also an annoying gap at the front of the cockpit canopy which lets you see even more of this vile colour (did LEGO find an old forgotten batch of this snot green cr*p and decided that they had to use it..who knows?). Any way ,I dipped into very my meagre spare bricks box and got rid of all the Green.I then ditched the cockpit fire extinquisher, allowing Panther to sit further back into the cockpit. This gave me room to build up inside the front part of the cockpit , allowing me to seal the annoying gap.I then raised up his instrument panel and cobbled together a gunsight for him, again doing the best with what few spare bricks I had..it now looks a lot neater, but it`s nowhere near perfect! What is your least favourite Super Heroes set and why?
r5-j2 replied to Godtshep's topic in LEGO Licensed
Mines is the Batman Harbour Pursuit set, it`s just messy, with 4 dinghies tacked together and built up to make the jumbled top heavy looking Bat-Boat.It is just a very poor design, it should be a lot sleeker looking and I wish Lego had put the Death-Stroke figure in a better set -
What a clever build, so full of character!.........it put a smile on my face as soon as I saw it, I love it.

I went nuts and bought all 3 Captain America Civil War sets! and a local shop has a couple of the dreadful Iron Man vs Mandarin sets, which are tempting ,but only cos of the Heart-breaker suit Tony is wearing..............gotta stop spending so much on Lego!

What a big, big difference..it looks so much better!

MOC: Batman, Classic TV Series - Batmobile (Mighty Micro)
r5-j2 replied to Adeel Zubair's topic in LEGO Licensed
Adeel, you are a gifted builder, first a brilliant micro Batwing ( http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=126564 ) and now this, wow!,....thank you for sharing! -
totally agree,I put a thread up about Marvel/DC needing battle-packs to "flesh" out builds/dioramas..Dr Who needs be countering invasions, so we need loads of Cybermen, Sontarens, Daleks and also some Ogrons ,who were the Daleks minions in some adventures would be great too! p01nw75j by kenny burns, on Flickr

I`m old enough to remember all the Doctors, Christopher Eccleston was my favourite of the modern "re-boot" (his episode where he encounters the last remaining Dalek, being kept in a billionaire`s private museum in the future; is brilliant!), Tom "mad as a brush,..Jelly Baby ,anybody?" Baker was my favourite "classic " Doctor and out of all the recent companions/new characters, I think Capt Jack Harkness is fantastic...after all he linked us into the "TorchwooD" series, which I loved. I also liked David Tennant, but he became a wee bit too manic (trying too hard to be as batty as Tom Baker ,perhaps?)

MOC: Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice - Mini Batwing
r5-j2 replied to Adeel Zubair's topic in LEGO Licensed
Adeel, this is sweet!..and more authentic lookin` than the big ugly official "Lego`s Yawn of Justice" Batwing!...I love it!.(I think Lucius Fox would like it too!!)- 12 replies

I can`t stand the things..the Force Awakens Rebel Transport is a set I really would like to buy, but it is so sticker heavy and the cockpit framing looks hideously tricky. Why couldn`t LEGO have just printed that one piece (and any other window framing/cockpit parts on other sets)?..I could live with it then ;even if I goosed up some (ALL PROBABLY!) of the hull stickers!

Kit;, these are figures are great!...yet again a gifted AFOL is showing Lego "how it should be done!"
