  1. The "Save Martha!!"..scene from Dawn Of Justice!
  2. I really like this...!!!
  3. Pure magic,, totally amazing!!;.. I went and watched the episodes again (A piece of the action/Batman`s satisfaction) and you have captured that "60`s cool" factor perfectly!........(But wouldn`t Bruce Lee have "kicked the brick" out of Burt Ward in real life?!!!) Looking forwards to you next build!! Regards Kenny
  4. Supported, this will look great alongside the Mini and V.W. Camper....Lego have to build this!!
  5. Brilliant!, thank you for sharing!
  6. We will probably be let down again, the new Death Star set ,with it`s 25% price hike from $399 to $499 , tells me that what ever they do will involve separating it`s loyal followers from as much money as they can squeeze out of an AFOL...hey you could say (with some truth) that LEGO has gone from being known for it`s "brick separators" to becoming skilled, cynical "cash separators"!!nuff said Kenny.
  7. Now you`re just showing off! ! ...but it looks great!!!
  8. Another great "tweek", but it does make you wonder if the LEGO design team are really fans of the "genre" that they are tasked with designing sets for. We look at these builds and see little imperfections that we can improve on, but they probably don`t see things the way that we do. Most of the mods that have been done wouldn`t add much (if anything at all ) to the production costs of a set. Sometimes it`s a simple color change that can make the difference!
  9. I fr#$*ing love this!!!... it`s a great link back to the Michael Keaton/ Tim Burton Batman movie (and losing the crazy wings doesn`t detract from the build at all! ).............it`s fantastic!! Kenny.
  10. I did a MOD of the B.vsS. Batmobile ,but like you I couldn`t see a way to get the armour around the front wheels. There is space under the nose guns for attaching and also you have attachment possibilities where the clear headlight pieces are .But the vehicle`s scale is just a bit too small and makes things really awkward, I tried using mud-guard pieces but they didn`t work..anything else ,just looked over bulky! 11. Thanks for the kind words, I`ll never be a master-builder (just not confident or creative enough to do total rebuilds like you guys do ), but I do like to have a "tweak" every now and then!!. Best regards Kenny
  12. I just got this version of the Batmobile, it`s really very good ,but there are some weird color choices, the front wheels were way too light in color, so I swapped them out and used “press-on” black wheels (and the appropriate mounting bits) to replace them .I also made up better nose guns, bulked up the empty nose space under the gun position and raised the hinges behind the cock-pit, so the aero-foil “thingies” sloped down at a steeper angle and added exhaust pipes. Finally I dealt with the bright blue (why!!) elements in the cock-pit.I think it looks a bit meaner now, but why Lego didn`t go down this route at the design stage is a mystery (remember the yucky lime-green bits that were in the Avengers Black Panther Jet set?) regards Kenny. 13. Really, really nice work! , but as the joker said "why sso serious, lets put a smile on that face!!"..and if you can`t ,don`t worry about it (maybe try flattening it, as already suggested ), it`s still a hundred times better than the official Lego minifig!! Regards Kenny
  14. It`ll never happen , but I would like to see some "Young Justice " minifigs, Red Tornado would be epic ,as would Black Canary, Sportsmaster and the "kids" (just finished play the Xbox game with my grandson).
  15. Thanks ,Percy, I`m really starting to get badly hooked on "Bat-gear", the next two items on my list are the "Yawn Of Justice" (yes I watched and stayed awake through the extended film cut!) Kryptonite Interception Batmobile set and also the Black Manta set with the Bat-Sub, maybe also the Bat (hover?) boat set..(in Gotham City Breakout animation film, Nightwing refers to it as a hover-craft), but I may wait until I see that on a reduced sale price. regards Kenny.
  16. Brilliant family fun, these mosaics look fantastic .
  17. I liked the design of Lex`s copter, but didn`t like the colour scheme or all those clumsy looking flick-missiles, so I tried to make it match up with my very simple looking grey Batman figure (which is a mighty-micro torso fitted with longer legs ),- it came out looking quite plain, but not too bad when paired up with "grey" Batman. Hope you like it Kenny. IMG_1907 by kenny burns, on Flickr IMG_1919 by kenny burns, on Flickr
  18. What a great first post!!!
  19. It`s a really cheap way to get Scooby, Shaggy and a Mummy, but is lacking something ,the big gaps at the side of the coffin kind of let it down, but my ASDA/Walmart had it on a sale price, so I got me one.
  20. Good to see "The boy-scout" on the defensive !!...and what a great build!!
  21. I thought it would be good to have a thread (if it hasn`t been done before) just for the Dark Knight and his friends (and foes) vehicles.I can`t think of another comic book super-hero that has such a variety of vehicle types and gadgets and there are people on this forum ,who have done amazing MOC`s and MOD`s.. creating all manor of superb Bat-mobiles, Whirlybats, boats ,subs.....etc. So here are my 3 MOD`s to begin with....The Bat-Pug (looks like a weird V.W. Beetle, gone badly wrong) from the desert buggy in the latest "escape from Ra`s al Ghul" set,The Bat-Mech, from the "Grodd" set and the Bat-Bike from the "Cycle chase set"...these are my simple "newbie" builds ,there are many, many, more out there ,that are so much better than mine,................so please lets see them folks! 22. Pepperoni, you should check out Hulk_Smash`s thread, I borrowed (pinched) his idea for a control cab, but he also tidied up the back of the Bat-mech in a really neat way..................... he went for an enclosed cab, I left mine open ; http://www.eurobrick...od#entry2493075
  23. Fantastic...!! (and fun too!)
  24. brilliant, it almost looks alive!!
