  1. So I set out to make a smaller warship, similar in shape and size to the merchant ship that came with the Imperial Trading Post. The bow pieces in LDD are larger than the ones from the ship, though, so I wound up with a creation larger than anticipated. It doesn't quite seem right, though, and I'm curious as to whether anybody could help me figure out what's wrong?
  2. Location: G08 - Xerillian Tags: Vehicle, Spaceship / Airplane, Exploration, Science Pilot and interim CEO John Hannibal barely escapes the "jaws" of one of the most dangerous denizens of Xerillian, G08. [G - 08] LIVE BAIT by Ryan McBryde, on Flickr The pressure is on the would-be executive as he struggles to keep his corporation afloat. Where will he steer the Octan's scientists, chomping at the bit for more challenging pursuits, trusting Octan leadership to deliver a path to success? Hannibal has made his decision. Now he gathers a supply of the most ruthless, hungry beasts that Octan has faced thus far, risking his own life to lure this particular creature. As he flies low among the dunes, the giant worm is close behind him. Hannibal brings his speeder closer to the sand, sacrificing his speed and kicking up a large wake of sand. The worm speeds up and closes in. He's almost there. Almost there... The worm lunges at Hannibal as the speeder dives into LaRose's newly discovered cave. It is uncertain what stuns the giant worm more, bursting through the rock at full speed, or the disappearance of its would-be meal. An Octan cargo ship quickly pulls the beast out of the hole and into a secured container. Soon Hannibal will deliver his bounty of death to I06, the future home of a new training facility unsurpassed in its rigorous curriculum and exceptional faculty. The future of Octan is bright. Nothing can stand in its way.
  3. Hey all, here is my latest build for the Lands of Roawia LEGO role-playing game on the Merlin's Beard forum. This is my first large scale ship and I really hate using LEGO prefab pieces of any kind, so I wanted to create a realistic brick-built curved hull. I present the Spirit of Lenfald: Four Masts Fully Rigged Ship 4A She's a solid 77 centimeters long from stem to stern and all LEGO except for custom sails and rigging. All comments and criticism are most welcome! Aaron
  4. +++++ BEGIN TRANSMISSION. While the Bident is in orbit, I decided to track down some rare biomass on G-08. These desert may be hot in the daytime, but at night the cutting cold wind embraces you. It's vast. And I discovered night sets in at an alarmingly fast pace. It caught me off guard. Luckily my sensors managed to spot something in the middle of nowhere. I'll get back to you once I'm back in orbit. END TRANSMISSION. +++++ (Another viewpoint of the Transporter.) [/url]
  5. CHAPTER 1: DAWN OF THE RED SUN On a race to become the most powerful corporation, mysterious KAWASHITA GROUP lastly arrives in the Andromeda system. Setting foot on flourishing planet ORINSHI, the enterprise briskly sends its fleet to the four corners of space, ready to conquer unknown paths filled with undiscutable richness, and that, by all means… ---------- Log 1 - Sunset On the Future With its new cybernetic legs operational, Kawashita pilot N.R Marcus leaves Orinshi with the Second Branch’s colonial fleet. They stop on Greater Direstan as the sytem’s sun sets on the horizon… ---------- The journey was long and hard. I've been stuck for 2 weeks in metal containers. First was Orinshi's medical center... Can you believe it: facing such beautiful surroundings, luxuriant jungles, grassy plains and extraordinary wildlife, but unable to touch 'em. Every morning I jumped out of bed, forgetting that my legs are gone. I hopelessly crash on the floor. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. I just couldn't remember. A very weird feeling to experiment. Then, it was the journey to Greater Direstan when the 2nd branch colonial ship picked me up. I tell ya' that was one heck of a bumpy ride. I've heard marvels of our warp drives, but they're far from perfect, they're irregularly stabilized. Bumpy... And I couldn't move out of bed, recovering from my earlier surgery. At least, when I jumped out of bed this morning I landed on my feet. They're a bit clunky and cold, but I'll get used to it. When our ship finally landed on the rocky outpost, I had to get out, to feel fresh air, new air. I staggered to the closest opened deck. My legs were still hurting and wobbling but I forgot it all when I reached the outside deck. The sea was pitch black and the sky burning yellow. Everything was clear, peaceful, strange and lonely. I knew Terra was far, far away... "N.R Marcus, you are required in Bay 05 for mission briefing." I woke up from my trance. Well, beauty doesn't last. How long was I there looking at the horizon? A minute? An hour? I was about to leave for Bay 05 when I received another transmission - coded: "Marcus, I hope you enjoyed your trip! My name is Mr. Nagashi, from the council. Meet me in office 343 as soon as possible. I have a mission for you. High priority" I stood there, surprised... The council? Did he say he was... from the council?! It can't be. Just what could they be doing on a colonial fleet? And they would call me of all things? It's not right... They're up to something. The sunset of Greater Direstan I tried to force the perspective with this build, but it's hard to make the illusion! I had a more detailed background at first and the "Ship deck" extends with details to the back. But taking it all in one shot proved futile (too crowded), so I scrapped everything and went with very simple elements, which ended a bit better ** This build is inspired by Kosmas Santosa's (one of my favourite builders) Senja (https://www.flickr.com/photos/kosmassantosa/16605586408/in/faves-131957354@N02/). I tried to give it a sci-fi twist. I wish my colors were as vibrant, but I don't have artificial light yet... ** More details and behind-the-scene pictures to come!
  6. Continuing my habit of making displays for my poybags, here is my display for my Mini X-Wing Fighter As you can see, it holds it up quite well And let me try out a new way of making a space background I hope you like it! And, remember, comments are always appreciated!
  7. Guerilla attack on A15. While Everlast has been lost, the High Council still has supporters in the north east. Some of them have established groups of resistance, fighting for the Republic and the People. The High Council has despatched several vessels to supply these partisans with both weapons and other supplies. _______________ Hope you like my first attempt at a forced perspective - I think it works quite well However, I am not sure if this picture might be better: C&C very welcome
  8. LDD 16D Hello all, I`ve been working on a LDD ship a long long time, but they all have just grinded to a halt. Whit LoneBrickersSG`s topic and his first ship in LDD did really give me the spark. (A big thanks to him and the credits) So, I did copy the basic of the hull, and then modified it here and there till I was happy whit the result. The look has been heavily inspired by HMS Ontario which was 22 gun snow, serving in Lake Ontario during American Revolutionary War and did sank in a storm 1780, and was discovered again in 2008. Now, this ship does not have as many guns as HMS Ontario, one reason being that there's just not enough space, and that the bow is just one big piece. But it only lacks 2 cannons less that Ontario did. Im planning on coming back to this ship. Maby, perhaps building it in real bricks some distant future as i am becoming a father this June. So no time for Lego's really. I will try and work on the stern, as its too low and doesn't really please me at this moment, Also the bow will be made again, adding some guns, making Her just a bit longer and bigger perhaps. My goal on making ships is not to look extremely polished and pretty on the outside, but to make sure I would be able to do it in real bricks, and that it would be sturdy, so forgive the rather "Gruesome" look as im not a professional ship builder or anything. Pictures in my Brickshelf http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=554614 Captain Becker PS: I did ask his permission to use his model, but he hasnt read it, or replied. Im sorry if it was not OK for you
  9. Hi, I'm planning to sale my Imperial Flagship. Because I move together with my girlfriend and she's not really into Lego, I want to sell it with a heavy heart. It's 100% complete, in very good condition. Box and instructions in excellent condition. It wasn't played with, just stood on my living room's shelf. I'm located in Germany, would ship worldwide. I'd prefer Bank Transfer, because of Paypal Fees. Pictures can be seen here: https://www.flickr.c...57652220182852/ Feel free to ask questions. If you are intersted in buying PM me. Cheers Sebastian
  10. This was my first time building a ship and I'm quite pleased with the result: More pics here: Link Let me know what you think, all C&C appreciated
  11. I decided to start out my first MOC as a small one. So I basically made up what I think a version of a small merchant ship would like like, maybe going to or from Coruscant. So here we are. Mer2 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Mer8 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Here's a look at some crew or friends of the merchant carrying some cargo. Mer4 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Some of the cargo capacity. Mer7 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Interior. Very basic controls and a seat. Can fit 1 crew member, and a bit of cargo inside the cockpit. Mer1 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr A look at it's simple, but effective engine. Mer5 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr An overview of the ship. (Sorry for the low quality picture, there). Mer9 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Lastly, a final frontal view of the ship. Thanks for looking! Please comment and criticize so I can improve next time, or if I can see if you liked it or not.
  12. *NOTE* This is my first Eurobricks New Topic! Please, PLEASE make it clear to me if I did anything wrong, or you have any concerns, picture shots, building, characters, etc. Comments are really appreciated, they help me to better perform next time. Here we go! INTRODUCTION: Imperial Star Destroyer "Tyrant", Brick System, 2 ABY. SONEe1s1 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Imperial Crewman: Sir, the stormtrooper squad has arrived. Hanger Bay 3. SONEe1s2 by BrickJamesWells, on FlickrCaptain Vars: Excellent, I will go to greet them. Lieutenant, you have the bridge. -Down in Hanger 3- SONEe1s3 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr------------------------------------------------------- Stormtrooper "B-Squad" has arrived on the Star Destroyer. They have been called by Captain Vars to get briefed and prepared for the mission. The B-Squad is compromised of it's 4 main members, Sergeant Trans, their leader, Darek Stens, a highly skilled, bragging, mean member of the team, Dan Jars, a skilled Stormtrooper, friend of our main character. And, last off, James, the newest member of B-Squad, Stormtrooper Corporal. Struggling to fit in, but still skilled. ------------------------------------------------------- Sergeant Trans: Men, prepare to be greeted by Captain Vars. I want you all to be on your best behaviour in front of him. B-Squad: Yes, Sir! SONEe1s4 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Captain Vars: Hello B-Squad. D-Squad Members: Hello, Sir! SONEe1s5 by BrickJamesWells, on FlickrCaptain Vars: It's very good to have you on the ship. You will leave for your mission in a few days, so we must do a final briefing now. Follow me. SONEe1s6 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Sergeant Trans: Let's move it, troops! -B-Squad proceeds with the Captain- SONEe1s7 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Dan Jars: James, come on, you alive? We have a briefing to get to, keep with the group! James: Oh, yes, right. Sorry, I was thinking. Dans Jars: If you think too long in the Empire, you have big chances of getting killed. C'mon, newby! SONEe1s8 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Captain Vars: Ah, here we are. SONEe1s9 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Captain Vars: B-Squad, please proceed into the communications and briefing room. SONEe1s10 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr James: We've been briefed on this plan for weeks, is this necessary? Captain Vars: It very well is, if you fail to plan, then you plan to fail. SONEe1s11 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Captain Vars: Now, listen up closely. I will review one last time. There is a secret rebel station here. Your shuttle will take you just off of scanner range, and you will move in, secure the station, and reclaim the all important Imperial Codes at all costs. SONEe1s12 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Captain Vars: You have been entrusted with a very tough mission, yes, but I do believe B-Squad can prevail. Don't let me down. SONEe1s13 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Captain Vars: I think we have almost everything set, but don't forget your training, and retrieve those Imperial Cod- -Door Opens- SONEe1s14 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Imperial Officer: Sorry to interrupt, Captain, but there is an urgent transmission for you from Admiral Brickton, you are required on the bridge immediately. Captain Vars: Alright, thank you, Lieutenant. I will be up momentarily. SONEe1s15 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Captain Vars: Alright men, I will check back on you later. Get some rest for now, it's been a long day. SONEe1s16 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Sergeant Trans: I'll be off. Remember the plan, and we'll get back together later. For now, I think you boys deserve a rest. Maybe even explore the ship? We'll be on it for a while before and after the mission. If we survive, of course. I know we can do it, though. See you boys later. James: Bye, sir! Sergeant Trans: Goodbye. -Moments later- SONEe1s17 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Darek Stens: Watch it, newby! Heh, I bet you won't even survive the first few seconds of battle. See you later, young one. James: Hey! Don't push me! Darek Stens: You make me laugh, newby. I could do this all day, but I'll be off. Hmf. SONEe1s18 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Dan Jars: Don't worry about Darek, he just thinks he's the best. But, he's really not. He's just the type that picks on newbies like you. However, you're actually quite skilled. I know you'll be a useful member of the team, no matter how new. I know I can trust you in battle. James: Thanks, Dan. Well, I guess I'll be off. I got to start thinking about the mission, and training. I'll see you later. Bye. Dans Jars: Bye, James. SONEe1s19 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr James: Hopefully luck will come my way. 13. 171D Hello all! I said in my last small MOC, I'd probably do another MOC, so I decided to make a ship this time, a Gunboat. It took me almost 4 hours (mostly finding and digging out parts), i'd say remove all the finding time, it took me about 20 minutes to construct, maybe 25 minutes (I did a few designs, and picked the one I liked most). Now, the gunboat itself has 1 small mast, 1 small rotating cannon at the beginning, and 2 swivel guns. The ship can fit about 4-6 minifigures, however I didn't want to take up the whole ship with minifigures, so I manned it with 3 minifigures in the 3 main posts. I myself am pretty proud of my build, I mean, I just built it with limited parts, and the way I thought a gunship should look like. I originally constructed a small grey cannon to go at the front, but it was a little bit too big, so I added a smaller rotating cannon that looks a lot like a swivel gun Alright, let's get started. Gun1 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Side view of the ship. Quite small, but it is a Gunboat Gun2 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr The bow of the ship. A redcoat manning the frontal cannon, and a Royal Navy gunner manning one of the two swivels. As you can see, I've given those new ugly blasters a use! They make great swivels, firing ones, too. Gun3 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Gun4 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Overview of the ship. You can see a bit of the crows nest. Gun5 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Other side of the ship. It does appear that there is a bit of dirt of that piece. Cleaning time Gun6 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr A simple, small stern to the gunboat. Gun7 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr You can really see everything that's going on in the ship in this pic. Gun8 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr At the wheel of the ship, a British Midshipman pilots the small ship. Gun9 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Lastly a view of the whole ship and the crows nest. Let it sail to bring glory to the Redcoats, and justice to the seas. Hope you've enjoyed! Please tell me what you think of my Gunboat! Have a nice day.
  14. The last anyone else had heard of Jack Yharnam, her ship had got lost in the hurricane. Debris was found washed up on a nearby spit of land - quite by chance, actually, the crew were hunting for meat - but no trace of the captain herself. Everyone thought she had gone down with the ship... ...until she sailed into port one day in that monstrosity, the Mirthless Jest. Bigger than the Crow, more guns too. Gods only know where she found another crew for the thing. But there it was, bold as brass. I might just sneak in an MCRA results MOC before the end of the month but just in case I don't I figured I would post this up. I'll have to wait to license this, I don't have the DB for any kind of Class 3 ship and since this is bigger than the Crow I don't think I'll get away with calling this a Class 2. I'm still learning with BlueRender so I may add some shots of the details using the LDD's photo mode, but that will have to happen later.
  15. El Toro Bravo : A class 2A Topsail cutter After being repaired the former Oleon ship known as "La Vaillante" became "El Toro Bravo" and was given to the Eslandian Colonel Ignacio Severus to command. And she began her duty by being sent along the shores of Berelli in order to track down the pirates. I bettered the "Vaillante" I made for Challenge II and I will license her as a Class 2A vessel. I changed the colours, I change the Masts and put more in the middle the main mast. I made the rigging in order to be able to lower the sails. I think my story is well explaining how and why she became an eslandian warship... So I can license her, I never licensed her when she was Oleander. I think I can do that. If not, don't hesitate to tell me. Thank you and enjoy !
  16. Ahoy mateys, I present you the new brig el Matador for Eslandola. She has 14 guns and is under the command of captain Pedro Cabral. The ship is build to escort the trade routes and I will license it as a class 4A as soon as I get enough money. First up a shot of the entire ship, I think the lines are quite nice and I really like the medium dark flesh colour! A bit closer The stern Detail on the bow A birds eye Detail of the masts and rigging Captain Cabral and some of Eslandola's finest The gun crews below deck work hard To deliver a full broadside I hope you like it, may she have good fortune in battle!

  18. "Tales from Another World" is perhaps one of the most famous fantasy-fiction series of novels ever written. In one of its stories, there is exists a nation known as Sparta, renowned for their military prowess, but also for their austerity and discipline. Named after this fabled military powerhouse, the HMS Sparta was commissioned as a warship in 588 AE, towards the end of the 49 years war. She saw her last action at "The Engagement of Pentagora Peninsular", during the final stages of the 49 year war. In one of the bloodiest sea battles every recorded, she famously held back a last ditch attempt to attack the Corrington mainland by a small Oleon fleet of 5 warships, all by herself. Captain Gerald L. Steward (545-590 AE, posthumously promoted to Vice-Admiral) led his men into a daring head-on clash with the Oleon fleet. HMS Sparta charged into the Oleon formation, firing full broadsides at close range, then proceeded to board Oleon ship, Le Tournesol, with the entire crew complement, led by Captain Steward himself. Shocked by the unconventional tactics, Le Tournesol was quickly overrun and commandeered, then directed to crash right into the side of another Oleon ship, C'est la Vie, which was then taken with yet another full boarding action. Oleon ships Amaranthe and Le Chat Noir attempted a pincer boarding manoeuvre to attempt to take back C'est la Vie. It seemed that all was lost for Captain Steward and his men, exhausted and worn down by attrition. But in a desperate but brilliant tactical move, Captain Steward ordered the powder stores of C'est la Vie to be set alight. The resultant explosion killed everyone on board the C'est la Vie, and set alight both the Amaranthe and Le Chat Noir, leading to a series of chain explosions when their respective powder stores ignited. The captain of the last Oleon ship, Le Bouffon, lost all morale after witnessing the scene of carnage, and exclaimed, "C'est de la folie!", before giving a hasty order to retreat. Nearly all the crew of the HMS Sparta was killed in action, yet she survived. The remaining skeleton crew managed to sail her back to port and her bloodiest battle would forever be part of legend. While heroes and legends are made in war, in times of peace, life goes on. After the war, she was converted into a supply ship, removing most of her cannons for cargo space. A quarter of a century later, with Commodore Anselm Whitegate in command, she still sails the Brick Seas, supporting the Empire's colonies by delivering precious supplies to the frontiers. This is HMS Sparta. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  19. So I don't know what buttons I pressed but I can't get a good set of pictures of this using BlueRender, so he's the one good render. and some screenshots from the LDD that for some reason have no background. That was a surprise when I went to resize the image. The Night's Gold's sinister colours are a frequent site around Bastion and Haven. No one is quite sure how her Captain, Montgomery DuLac, manages to earn enough money to keep her afloat. It may relate to his good humour, easy going nature, ability to work with anyone and willingness to take any paying job. He even, occasionally, resorts to piracy - though he tends away from violence towards the prey's crew. After all, no point in needlessly raising a bounty on his head. Captain DuLac himself, making sure his ship is in good shape. He is not above hiring a few "less civilised sorts" as marines. Though some of them do not do much the rest of the time. I'm using my free license for the Night's Gold, classing her as a Class 2 Well Rounded.
  20. Grayther Drave pays many people to bring him exotic goods for his emporium in Bastion, but the Spiders may be his favourites. A team of expert treasure hunters, the Spiders take their name from the unusual little boat the sail around in; the Wight Spider. Some people claim the boat is not white enough for it's name. Drave tells them they misunderstand it. The Spiders - Talia, Gascoigne and Klaus - treat their vessel better than they treat anyone else, except, perhaps, Grayther Drave. The Wight Spider is a Class 1 Well Rounded vessel.
  21. Felipe de la Manzana, after an excellent trade run, (see here for more informations) sent a letter to Lord Smaugton in order to hire scientists to study the Ténotclaxcans myths and legends. He was still hoping to find a clue concerning the Golden Apple with these stories. It was also the occasion to meet and help a new MAESTRO fisherman who wanted to settle his activity in Cocovia, the Quinnsville island, because of the known abundance of Swordfish. Felipe head sail to Quinnsville. Arriving around Cocovia, he saw his new friend, Captain Santiago. His reputation of a lucky man was true as he was already at work to catch a splendid Marlin ! The fish fought well, but the two men in their bright new skiff, La Espada, managed to kill the Marlin. The fish was bound to a hook alongside the boat and brought to the port. Santiago was awared that sharks could be a threat and tryed to eat his catch. He protected his Marlin firing at those predators with his flintlock pistol. A game that he his good at... Seeing that fish party, Felipe was happy to see that MAESTRO's investment in La Espada of Captain Santiago was an excellent idea. He decided to meet the young lucky captain to help him develop his fishing wharf in Quinnsville, Cocovia. “Luck is a thing that comes in many forms and who can recognize her?” Ernest Hemingway, The old man and the sea. This little fishing boat is a Class 0 ship (Skiff) I am licensing with Captain Santiago in command. Of course, the fishing party and the captain name are an Homage to Hemingway text. Though, I decided to choose a younger captain for story purpose. I tryed another hull technique, but the sails are not custom sails, they are old official LEGO sails. I hope you will like this little skiff.
  22. It's been a while since I've been posting on here, so I thought I'd show one of my latest builds, the USS OGEL. The images are from it's latest 'patrol' at Brick-a-laide in Adelaide, South Australia. Some information about the real ship:- Based on the United States Navy Alaska Class Battlecruisers The Alaska class consisted of six large cruisers ordered before World War II for the United States Navy. They were officially classed as large cruisers (CB), but others have regarded them as battlecruisers. They were all named after territories or insular areas of the United States, signifying their intermediate status between larger battleships and smaller heavy and lighter cruisers. Of the six planned, two were completed, the third's construction was suspended on 16 April 1947, and the last three were canceled. Alaska and Guam served with the U.S. Navy for the last year of World War II as bombardment ships and fast carrier escorts. They were decommissioned in 1947 after spending only 32 and 29 months in service, respectively. The idea for a large cruiser class originated in the early 1930s when the U.S. Navy sought to counter Deutschland-class "pocket battleships" being launched by Germany. Planning for ships that eventually evolved into the Alaska class began in the late 1930s after the deployment of Germany's Scharnhorst-class battleships and rumors that Japan was constructing a new battlecruiser class. To serve as "cruiser-killers" capable of seeking out and destroying these post-Treaty heavy cruisers, the class was given large guns of a new and expensive design, limited armor protection against 12-inch shells, and machinery capable of speeds of about 31–33 knots (36–38 mph, 58–61 km/h). Class & type: Alaska-class large cruiser Displacement: Standard: 29,779 long tons (30,257 t) Full load: 34,253 long tons (34,803 t) Length: 808 ft 6 in (246.4 m) Beam: 91 ft 1 in (27.8 m) Draft: 31 ft 10 in (9.7 m) Installed power: 153,000 shaft horsepower (114,000 kW) Propulsion: General Electric steam turbines 8 Babcock & Wilcox boilers 4 shafts Speed: 33 knots (61 km/h; 38 mph) Range: 12,000 nautical miles (22,000 km; 14,000 mi) at 15 knots (28 km/h; 17 mph) Crew: 1,517 Armament: 9 × 12-inch/50 caliber (305 mm), 12 × 5 in (127 mm) guns, 56 × 40 mm (1.6 in) guns, 34 × 20 mm (0.79 in) guns Armor: Belt: 9 in (229 mm) Turrets: 12.8 in (325 mm) Deck: 4 in (102 mm) Aircraft carried: 4 More images available at -
  23. May I present you the first ship sailing under my command: the Warbringer! She is small, does not look like a real lady. But she doesn't behave like one either. When getting in range she is a deadly enemy to every ship of the same size. This is supposed to be a class 2A vessel. Thanks for looking!
  24. Hello all- long time peruser but first time poster! This is also the first MOC I've done since my dark ages. Currently I live in China, so most of my sets are back in the US, but over the summer I brought some back with me because I had the following idea. I love Chinese culture, architecture, and history! When I found out they had done an adventurers orient series a few years ago, I found some pretty sweet deals and was able to pick up the main orient sets. While I loved the 7416 Emperor's Ship, I thought it was a bit lame not to include the emperor himself, and that it was more like a smuggler's ship than an emperor's ship. I combined a few of those sets along with some others (although unfortunately left my Emperor Chang Wu back home), and came up with the ship below. Let me know your thoughts, and suggestions/etc.! Thanks Here are some more pictures I took: https://www.flickr.c...4194@N05/6Mv27g
