  1. Thanks everyone, these are cool;- I recognise the Sith Vessel,I had seen it before ,but never linked it to the Old Republic"....now I have something to work from. Many thank Kenny p.s. The Zenith looks insanely good!
  2. I`ve just bought these battle packs ( along with the damaged Brickmaster Book )and I need help, has anybody built any vehicles that would be appropriate to this "time-line" ?I`m not a gamer, so I have no idea where to start.I was hoping to find out about something that`s not too big ,like a speeder or a fighter Thanks Kenny IMG_0076 by kenny burns, on Flickr
  3. Ulrik ,have you got the missing part ,yet.I can`t wait to see the real thing built ! Regard eny.
  4. Wonderful stuff! Major Boothroyd would love these!
  5. Brilliant !
  6. Now that`s clever, this wouldn`t be out of place in a Lego polybag or an advent calendar................well done!
  7. Great set, even better review; but not one I would buy unless Lego were to release a few more minifigs of previous Doctors (Tom Baker comes to mind , along with the original William Hartnell ,from waaay back!) to compliment it. The modern day Doctors IMHO haven`t been that great, but they are keeping the concept going and did lead to Capt. Jack Harkness and the Torchwood spin-off ps shame that the Clara character has just been killed off in the most recent episode
  8. Sweeeet!!
  9. Still looks better than the standard Lego set (which for an eye watering sixty quid rip-off price should have at least had the inner spokes!...)
  10. James Bond (if it hasn`t already been done), if Lego can do a Batcopter, then why not the "Little Nell" gyro-copter from You only Live Twice, all the Bond baddies would make brilliant minifigures!
  11. Totally epic and amazing , my eyes hurt from trying to take in all that detail!
  12. It`s blue all the way for me!
  13. I think it`s perfect as is.
  14. Just booked an Orlando holiday ,so have included a trip to LEGOLAND there...can`t wait
  15. By over fussy, I mean too many wings!, I have never liked the X-Wing (since I first saw Ep.4 in 1976.......yes I`m THAT old ),........which means I`m probably in a minority of one!.I much prefer the A-Wing and now the Headhunter. take care Kenny p.s. no offence meant to those who have built stunning X-Wings.
  16. Cornwaille, ,I love TIES and your work is brilliant, hope Lego takes notice, Regards Kenny
  17. Has to be grey (to match Han`s hair!!), remember this ship is well used , old tech as it appears in "Force Awakens"
  18. Dredd (for the umpteenth time); I love this film; "He IS the law!!"
  19. The Entertainer Toyshop at Almondvale South, The Centre, Livingston, West Lothian EH54 6GS 0844 693 1498 , had some also WH Smith in the same centre had only a couple left; hope you are lucky! Kenny
  20. My local toyshop had some 1st series microfighters on sale ,so I grabbed a few.The only one I didn`t like was the TIE, it was the least proportionally accurate one of the bunch, so I started adding parts and ended up with this ( it looks a bit meaner, but is still a fun little microfighter )Sorry, my photography isn`t that goodKenny.<script async src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
  21. I got 2015 calendar,some Microfighters ;- X-Wing, AAT, Republic Gunship and Millennium Falcon...also Rey`s Speeder...gotta stop spending!
  22. This is the best neatest Star fighter I`ve seen so far.I really don`t like the over-fussy look of all the X-Wings I`ve seen ,but this Z-95 v3 has real attitude and the looks of a genuine combat machine; it`s fantastic! take care Kenny
  23. Great informative review (and pics), I am new to Lego and haven`t ever done a large scale figure, but Jango (and Grevious) are now on my "wants" list. regards Kenny.
  24. people laugh when I say I`m into Lego, but they just don`t get how creative Lego builders can be. This is a fantastic build and proves that "less definitely is more"
  25. I really like the look of the film version, but there far better ways to spend money, especially on a set that isn`t near right,- because there obviously was an information gap between Lucas Film/Disney & Lego as to the basic functions of this shuttle.
