I just came across this ,this evening and it is really, really nice, Phil Coulson is one of the coolest dudes in the "Avengers" universe and this design is equally as cool.

[Mod] Batman control centre, batmobile and jet ski
r5-j2 replied to AmperZand's topic in LEGO Licensed
I like the spiky-ness (is that even a word?) of your Bat-mobile very much!!...nice work! -
That`s a really cool concept!...without these folk, there wouldn`t be any franchise materiel for Lego to make money from (or for us to enjoy)
-
Thanks for the links everybody, there`s more to this minifig collecting than I knew.I really appreciate the feed-back. Regards Kenny.

So there is the option to get him custom made?, would it be expensive?...who could provide this service, if he is unlikely to appear from Lego themselves/ Thanks Kenny.

I`ve been playing the Lego Marvel Super heroes and Avengers games with my great grandson and every level has a "Stan Lee in peril " to save. I think a lot of AFOLs ,would buy a Stan Lee set (myself included, even though I`m really a D.C. fan), cos who out there doesn`t like Stan?....the man is a legend! He has appeared doing cameos, in cartoons, movies and games, so why not give this genius a Lego set?. It wouldn`t have to be too expensive; i.e. Stan being held captive in some setting or locked up in a vehicle by one or two bad dudes (AIM or HYDRA come to mind) along with a named bad guy, with an appropriate hero to save him, (maybe a £20-£25 set, like Doc Ock`s Truck set or similar ) What do you good people think? Kenny

I like it ,but it is a bit small, I so changed the fins at the back and added the canards at the front ,to try and make it look more interesting. Take care Bro Kenny.

My figs either live in boxes or are displayed on a high shelf (way from my grand-kids), I have only recently got into the Lego super-hero theme ,but despite being a D.C. fan, I have been buying more Marvel ,than D.C., but that has now changed and I now have 2 more D.C. sets to build (and more on my wish-list. Here are my Marvel figs, which are just on a base-plate along with my only Quin-jet (Giant man is packed away, until I get another couple of base-plates) IMG_0842 by kenny burns, on Flickr This is most of my meagre D.C. Collection, but once base-plates are bought, I`ll get my "Clash of heroes" and "Bat-wing" built and added into the display IMG_0844 by kenny burns, on Flickr

This is brilliant !,easily better than the Polish Kobi "knock-off" WW II tank series...I love it!

Just got "The Force Awakens" Lego game ( for Xbox 360 ) from ASDA, which came with the Finn in trooper armour figure and also a First Order Star Destroyer poly-bag (which I didn`t expect).

Totally agree, you even got the arc generators built into the legs........sweet work!!I modded the original Lego version ,but it looks weak compared to yours!! IMG_1323 by kenny burns, on Flickr

Totally agree, I also like the Iron Skull, he`s my favourite Marvel bad guy and although I`m a life-long D.C. fan ,I think Lego have failed to produce a mega good bad-guy ,even though Deadshot isn`t bad!;that said I`m only posting about figures I`ve actually got myself, not ones seen on this forum or Youtube

Ta very much! Kenny,

Here`s my rebuild of Mr Wayne`s "hog" from the Gotham City cycle chase.I ditched the yellow ,and tried to give it a meaner, darker look, but I couldn`t do anything about it`s size!....it is huge....(as is Batman`s grin!!) I really like this, the scale is great ,lovely work!!

Thanks Badchriss, from the side it now looks a Goth version of a V.W. Beetle/Bug, bad news is that I am now going to have to get the Krytonite Interception Bat-mobile and the Harley/Batman cycle sets as well! p.s.--I ditched the over-tall ariel and it looks better without it Take care Kenny.

Gave this an above average vote,it looks very, very nice;- but I must be in a tiny, tiny minority ,in that I can`t stand the Potter Franchise ,even sets as good as this one, which from a pure Lego design stand-point are very clever and brilliantly-executed........sorry.

As a fellow (scots)canadian, you have my vote for this wonderful and nostalgic idea, Cole"

I did think about that, but it made the "Pug" look a little less "business-like" (for lack of a better way to put it!)
-
"It does look more armoured and less derpy than the one in the set and is an improvement to the one in set ,though black would only work for desert camouflage at night. " I couldn`t bear to do a Bat-vehicle any other color than black; but it does look a wee bit like a tubby, shrunken down "Tumbler"........I think I`ll call it the "Bat-Pug"!

That is sweet, especially when compared to some of the so-so Lego DC Sets that have come out, hope Lego`s design team are taking notice!!, this is how to do it properly!!
-
I just got the above set and whilst the figures are pretty good, the "dune -buggy" was a bit of a let-down, so I used it`s chassis as a basis to build something a bit "chunkier". I think that this set is one that I should have waited for ,until it went on a discounted sale price. In terms of value for money, I think it is border-line ;;; like a lot of the DC sets , it is definitely not horrible :- but it was lacking something..I tend to think that Lego`s Marvel sets just have a slight edge over their DC offerings! I know nuthin` about Angry Birds, but this set is really cool and colourful, it has a real charm to it ,I think I would like it purely as a display piece..it just looks hilarious!
