Makoy, I love the look of this set except for the stud-shooters, which I`m not a fan of. If you go with the "hammer-hand" on one side , are there enough parts left over from not building the two shooter assemblies and the "Mayor`s splat-trap" to make up a hand or even a fist (bearing in mind ,the unique colour parts combinations)? Take care Kenny.

A peach of a review!..thanks for taking the time to do this

That`s a great idea. Thanks Kenny.

If "Lego Batman" replaced Mr Affleck, then would the Batmobile look more like this perhaps?.....black and yellow is supposed to be the new black after all!..(also I thought the original colour scheme was a bit dull.) So cool and a great use of the Mighty Micro Batmobile...sort of "Lego Juniors" meets the "A.F.O.L. world of Batman"...I love it!

Damn right, for me this is THE Batmobile!!

No, it just looks silly and clumsy (even for a Joker set!!), but the parts would come in handy. -

Like the video work a lot!!.....but the poly-bag build itself is in my opinion pure pants!.....apart that is ,from being a cheap way to get another joker and some useful parts. Please keep sharing your reviews Regards Kenny -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
r5-j2 replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Brickbros uk have a video on youtube showing this and I have to say I won`t be giving Lego £85 for a Batwing, 2 small builds and only 3 figures...I think it is an outrageously over-priced set...... -
Great minds think alike!!

Looks great, sometimes less is definitely more!!, also now it has potentially more uses, i.e. not just being specific to the Penguin. In the Marvel Universe for instance ,you could see Wilson Fisk ,The Kingpin standing next to a variant of your build. Regards Kenny.

Another thing just occurred to me, how durable is the printing going to be?..the old helmet is made up of two differently colored plastic components with the eye/mouth detail recessed into the visor piece..so I think the older style would be less prone to accidental damage.
-
Only what you see, but I`m now a definite fan of the old school version , that said,Lego will be able to put more complicated prints on the smoother surfaced new design, so this might be the way it is going to have to be .Maybe as already pointed out, Lego are trying to ease production issues with this one piece design. It won`t be so bad I suppose , providing they supply a hairpiece, if they don`t then they might as well just go with an all black head! Kenny

Lego have gone with a simplified one piece (no movable visor) moulding for their latest set including Iron Man etc, whilst I like the fact that they give you hair pieces as well, I don`t like the design nearly as much as the old one I first saw when playing Lego Marvel Super Heroes with my great grandson. I thought it looked cool and it got me started collecting Iron Man minifigures, however I don`t think I`ll be as keen to collect this new style if Lego persist with it..what do you think? Here`s some pics of the Detroit Steel set, it packs a lot in for £30 (a mech, a unique vehicle and some neat figures!).The only changes I made were to the mech itself; I tidied up the cockpit area, ditched the winglet thingies (which give a Japanese Gundum look,in my opinion), simplified how the buzz-saw and six-shooter are attached and added a bit more yellow to the body to match in with the yellow power source on Justin Hammer`s suit. The mech itself scales nicely with the Hulkbuster and is not half bad once you start to build it! IMG_2407 by kenny burns, on Flickr IMG_2416 by kenny burns, on Flickr Speaking about the suits, Lego have gone with a one piece helmet moulding , which I`m not sure about..but at least you get hair pieces and dual faces! ( I posed a couple of other Iron Man figures for comparison) IMG_2422 by kenny burns, on Flickr IMG_2418 by kenny burns, on Flickr Regards Kenny

Well remembered Robert!...Mad Love was one of the best episodes ever.....I wish Lego would look more to that era for inspiration (and having gone off topic a wee bit, I`d like to say again how much I like this MOC!!) Regards Kenny.

Very, very nice, I also love the hand-basin and the water cooler, this reminds me about seeing a Batman The Animated Series scene where Jim Gordon was in the chair and the Joker had the syringe in his hand!
