UPDATE - March 2023 - INSTRUCTIONS are still available via PayPal donation - just let me know or write me a mail to boonatix@gmail.com :) Prevously: Working on the instructions is close to the finish... WIP - Instructions by Brickmasta on Flickr UPDATE - FINISHED on 22nd of April The Batwing - Front by Brickmasta on Flickr See the Album with details and more: https://www.flickr.c...th/13973416094/ ----------------------------------- I would like to present my current WIP to you all and love to get some feedback on it As soon as I saw the first Trailer for "The Lego Movie" I was in shock... a childhood dream coming true. With so many awesome creations in it. And one was standing out the first time I saw it: "The Batwing". I immediately knew that I needed to build this asap. Even though I just came back out of the dark ages by end of last year and was very fresh to all the building processes, parts and stuff... I thought It can't be that hard with having the model right in front of me on the screen. But it wouldn't be as easy as I thought... I researched all the internet for more pictures / trailers, fortunately there was more released with special scenes and stuff for this Batwing. I did frame by frame analysis and took a whole lot of screenshots, scratching my head how and where to start. I had the best material of one of the turbines, so I just got to work on one of those! But then I was kind of lost... not enough details, not enough shots of the Batwing. And then somebody on Flickr linked me a video to the Lego Movie Videogame. Woah! There was actually a building process you could unlock in there for it. I had to get the game, started gaming until I was able to unlock this plan and rebuild it over and over to see how they did it. And got to the point where I finally started with one of the wings! The Batwing - WIP #003 by Brickmasta at Flickr And the first challenge occured and I knew it would not be that simple / as easy as I hoped. The wing consists of 4 sections. And each section basically just featured 1 connector, making the whole wing completely unstable, bending and nearly breaking apart. That did not look good. So I got to understand that I won't be able to do a 1:1 true copy of it. The physics in the movie and the videogame are just easier / different because there is no real physics So I got to work again and tried and tried and thought and planned... and found a solution! First step was to double and exchange the connections for each section: The Batwing - WIP #004 by Brickmasta at Flickr But that was not quite enough and after some more thinking I had another idea, so I took the shot and gave the second wing a try with new elements in it and a stabilizer under the wing, connecting the sections and holding them together... and it worked out! "The Batwing" is going to be huge...! That is my progress so far. I am now starting to work on the cockpit and will try out the connections from wing to cockpit asap because I have a feeling they also won't hold up that good... each wing weighs around 260gr wich is around 0,6 pounds. That is quite a lot to be held together by slim Lego connectors. Lets see how this will work out then Let me know what you think! Appreciate every comment and input

If you have seen Joker the movie, you will probably agree the scene of Joker dancing on the steps is a real classic. Some many others had recreated the scene many times. And this is my version, a mini one (8x8) so that it is more economic to reproduce :) ____________________________________ Please visit my page at Rebrickable.com for more MOCs!

While making texture files for the 2008 Harley Quinn figure, I noticed that there appears to be two distinctly different versions of Harley Quinn from set 7886, one of which that has gone mostly undocumented. One version with black print for the half the chest details, and one with full white printing for the chest details. Can anyone else with the set confirm this? Or am I overlooking something or a page documenting it. Also if you have the 2nd version with the extra white printing, it would help to provide some images for a Bricklink page.

Hy Guys!! Today, I show you my first own design of Batmobile! The shapes are simple. I turned around my BTAS Batmobile I took ideas from different Batmobiles : - BTAS Batmobile - Rebirth Batmobile - White Knight Batmobile The interior is fully detailed and the Bat of Gotham himself and a passenger can fit on it. You can add energy effect or a flame for a dynamic look! YouTube Video (Showcase) : Building Instructions : https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-26146/BricksFeeder/brickfeeders-batmobile/ More shots!! I hope you enjoy this MOC! Let me know what you think about, if you want more information about or if you have advice ! See you soon!

This video game depiction of the Batmobile is one of my favorites, with the gold bat symbols adding quite a bit to the "over the top"ness of the design. I decided to recreate the video game model as best I can, but I did reach something of a snag in depicting the front bat symbol. In the game, it has a taper matching up with the rest of the hood, but I've run out of ideas in how to depict this while retaining the structural integrity of the original 76035 set. I have come up with a decent solution using a jumper piece, and if this is the best that can be done I'll be happy. Additionally, there's one game detail that I'm wondering if it's entirely possible. The side panels (2 x 2 tiles) seem to work, but the fit is either too tight or impossible. Can any more experienced MOCers weigh in on these issues? I'll be happy to provide the IO file if need be, but see the pictures of the current build below. Hope you enjoy!

I was inspired by this Winter Village build over on the Town forum by user @Nieks from 2015 to build this mid-20th century (think like around the 1960's or 70's) inspired Gotham City police station. The station comes with a Bat-phone on the Commissioner's desk, and a Bat-signal on the roof. (though, it's lacking a single printed part on the signal plus the front door should have this printed piece above it) On the right side you have an drive-thru awning for patrol cars to drop off criminals for booking at the station. Inside the station on the upper floor, just above the holding cell is Commissioner Gordon's office with the Bat-phone. Dotted around the station we have five desks for the officers to do paper work at, and finally, a single holding cell for inmates before transfer to Arkham Asylum (for the super-powered inmates and / or the criminally insane, such as the Joker or Poison Ivy) or Blackgate Prison (the common riff-raff / lower rated powered criminals who are technology dependent go there, such as The Penguin or Kite Man.) NOTE: The grille pieces in front of the building are supposed to go on the desks as part of the typewriter assembly. (It doesn't fit in LDD, sadly.) As it's the late 1970's or early '80's here in my model's timeline, the desktop computer has yet to make it's mark on crime-fighting.... unless you're a billionaire / inventor named Bruce Wayne that is! Set 71016 (Kwik-E-Mart) has had the police car changed from black and white to blue and white. The car feature seating for three, with two officers in the front, and one criminal in the back behind the security fence. The trunk of the police car should have this part on it. The trunk opens up, and both side doors open as well. Most of the roof lifts away (not shown) for access to the inside. As for the Batman and his arch-nemesis, I've already got his ride and the Joker's covered by previously released Lego sets. I also plan on manning the Police station with Lego Batman movie figures, such as Commissioner Gordon, Chief O'Hara, and a few other surprises. If anyone has any comments, questions, suggestions, or complaints please don't hesitate to respond below!

A list just sprung up in the usual place, and while I'm not sure if it's legit, it sounds very Lego-y in terms of set selection. Sets: Batmobile Ra's Al Ghul Baby Battle Ra's Al Ghul Ninja Lair Riddler's Jet Heist Nightwing vs Deathstroke Batcave and Robin Nest

Greetings! New here and I hope I'm not breaking any rules, I did read over the guidelines and FAQ. Fairly new to Lego, Fathers day gift of 2019 got me into it and have been collecting a few Batman/Batmobile related things. I purchased the display case/stand From Wicked Brick for the 1989 (76139) and smaller 40433 https://www.wickedbrick.com/products/dual-display-case-for-lego-dc-batmobile-76139-and-batmobile-40433?variant=31464464711727 As well as the case/stand for the Tumbler (76023) https://www.wickedbrick.com/products/copy-of-display-stand-for-lego-dc-the-tumbler-76023?variant=31949921386543 I'm looking for a case/stand for the Batmobile UCS (7784) and the smaller inspired version (76119), similar to the case for the 1989's I posted above. Is anyone familiar enough with Wicked Brick products to know whether the 1989 case will work for this as well? Perhaps with a different set of the Vario display stands they offer? I did e-mail them and ask if they would consider making a case for this or if a custom one could be made but looks like no dice there.

The idea of the nose is come from 76120. I hope you guys like it, comments are welcome.

Hi everyone, I'm a rookie in Eurobricks, this is my first time to post and hope you like it! The animated series batmobile. The size compared with 40433.

I put these together over the past few weeks, mostly to alleviate the boredom of staying indoors all the time! Trying to evoke different styles of Batmobile rather than recreate existing designs. A 'classic' car, trying to evoke the original designs, with a dash of the 1989 take. The 'car of the future' style that ran through the 66 show into the Super Powers cartoon. Mostly an exercise in getting the canopies to work! The militaristic version, patterned after the Tumbler and the dune-buggy from Dawn of Justice. Not especially pleased with how it came out, but hey, steering. A stylised look, more taking after some of the comic interpretations than the film versions. I started with this and the idea of the horns for wheel arches. Enjoy!

First introduced in Detective Comics #168 (Feb. 1951) ("Mystery of the Red Hood"), ACE Chemicals is well renowned as the place the Red Hood died, and in his place the Joker was born. After falling into a vat of toxic waste trying to escape from Batman, the Red Hood discovers that the chemicals bleached his skin and dyed his hair permanently green. This disfigurement caused a psychotic break and he became The Joker. Over the years, the Joker has revisited Ace Chemicals several times, using it as a temporary hideout, as in this case. In a scenario not dissimilar to the Lego Batman Game, where the Joker sent Jervis Tetch to retrieve deadly chemicals from the facility, The dynamic duo have tracked the Joker and the Mad Hatter to the old plant. I was inspired by @Digger of Bricks's suggestion of a batmobile that uses the nexo knights canopy so I decided to throw something together for Batman's 80th anniversary . It isn't based on any one version of batman's iconic vehicle but takes inspiration from many of the numerous depictions of this famous car. I'll apologise in advance for my lacking photography skills. You can see Batman's head but sadly that's all as a whole minifig can't fit inside. I was originally going to use a the smaller fin shown above but I preferred that look of the larger bat wings. I was going to make the stripe blue and use this part but I thought the grey looked better.Anyway thanks taking a look, comments and criticism are welcome.

Hi, I saw this article over on Brickfanatics yesterday about a press release stating that Lego would release a Batman 80th Anniversary set to celebrate. I couldn't see a topic already covering this but apologies if it's already common knowledge. Here's the quote from the Warner Bros press release source: “Global partners such as LEGO, Mattel and Funko will release exclusive Batman 80th anniversary products throughout the year.”
-
Hi everyone. Those who follow me on Flickr have probably already seen the beginnings of this project. To celebrate Batman's 80th anniversary this year I made a series of 12 vignettes that spotlight his most famous villains. Then, to top it off, I made a GCPD building which was added on top of the assembled models Below you'll find the Imgur album http://imgur.com/gallery/q096Per Thank you for your time

What I mean is, for example how on some Batmobiles (Notably the 1989 version) and the 1989 Batwing, as well as the Delta-7B Aethersprite-class light interceptor from Star Wars or the machine guns on modern fighter jets, the guns are receded/receding into the hull. Has anyone figured out any kind of techniques to try to replicate that?

Walt Disney's Frozen! For clarification, that apostrophe is to say "Walt Disney is Frozen!", not the possessive form to say a movie his company might have... Come look in the Disney Vault and see just where they have kept Walt all these years. Inspired by 76252 Batcave - Shadowbox, I knew I wanted to do something like this when I saw the set, because sometimes I just like building somewhat kooky things. This build gave me a chance to use some fun Spike/Powered Up elements like the string lights, light panel, and force sensor, which you'll see down below. Here you can see the build and Mickey's silhouette. I have eight lights peeking through to help illuminate because this thing can get a little dark. BUT! when you press on the force sensor here, the red light from up above glows on Walt. Spooky! A closer view with both red light off and on with some better shots of the greebling. See Mickey Mouse in his lab coat taking care of his Creator. Looks like Donald is going to do some maintenance on the vats of cryogenic cooling to keep Walt in stasis. Minnie also in a labcoat going to check on some things with Gus. I mean, Walt Disney is Frozen, it makes sense that one character from the movie shows up. Side and back views of the build. And just some fun photos to leave you with. Comments and criticism as always are more than welcome. Enjoy!

The guys from NAG Magazine asked me to build a Batman-themed PC case entirely out of LEGO, using MSI hardware as the foundation. It started as a group project, but a few weeks ago I took the time to refresh the exterior and completely rebuild the interior. This time, I built the frame and internals freehand out of LEGO Technic for strength and structure, and I reworked everything into modular panels so the case could actually be opened and serviced by non-LEGO people. The “Batcomputer” control room and dressing room area even split neatly into two sections. I honestly don’t know how well the airflow compares to a proper case — there’s a big opening in the front, which isn’t ideal, but it runs smoothly and doesn’t seem to struggle with heat. The build is heavy but manageable, and sturdy enough to hold real hardware without feeling like it’s going to collapse. And yes, there’s a little Easter egg: Homer Simpson IS Batman! For anyone who ever suspected Homer might be the real Dark Knight, this build confirms it. Specs: CPU: Intel Core i5-13600KF Motherboard: MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK WIFI (MS-7D91) RAM: 32GB Geil RAM Storage: 2TB MSI M480 Graphics: MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Liquid Cooler: MSI MAG CORELIQUID C360 Chassis: Custom LEGO Batcave After finishing it, the case went back to NAG, and I believe they’ll be giving it away in a competition. Happy to answer questions about the design, or share more detail shots if people want to see the modular system, Batcave interior, or the Homer-as-Batman Easter egg.
