  1. Nice one , Brent ! ....I love it!
  2. I`ve only opened the box (and stroked the bags!)..but it looks great!..I`m keeping it (along with the "Cross-bones" and "Hydra Showdown" sets ) to one side to do later this month, when my better half heads off for a short "girls only" break to Spain!....and the "Kryptonite Interception Batmobile" might appear as well (but only when I`m damn sure that she is on the plane!!)
  3. Thanx Bro!,they are brilliant..if you hav`nt already done so, you need to share them on Eurobricks
  4. Good on you Captain, I`ve just got the Avengers Airport set (my first biggish set), although I have a love/hate thing with this Batcave, I can feel it pulling me in....................ahhhh!!
  5. Keep us in the loop, once you get stuck into it!!
  6. Looks really, really nice , I love it!!, this beastie and the long-nosed monster from Batman "The Animated Series", are my 2 probably favourite Batmobiles!!
  7. That`s what I was trying to say ,but you (and others) get what I was on about ,and express it better than I did....................Excelsior!!
  8. Hmmmm, your profile foto looks strangely familiar!! . thanks to all for your kind comments.(and thanks Chris for the S.U.V.!)
  9. Baywatch!....hell that`s superb, we need piccies................now!
  10. My son kindly gifted me a Police SUV, which was taking up display space that he could use for something else.I noticed the color scheme exactly matched the SHIELD pilot from the Spidey vs Carnage £12.99 set.Soo I swapped out all the yellow elements..swapped the grill/head-lights,altered the light bar, put stowage for a gun behind the seats and also put some "junk" on the roof. All in all, I think it looks o.k., it matches the Quin-Jets that you get in other sets ,so as they say; "one man`s junk can indeed be another man`s treasure!" 11. Here`s info from somebody who has been on the shop floor (as have I been;-I`m also an ex Toys`r`Us employee) ....thanx for you input Spidey!
  12. Agreed, but I still want this "Killer Croc Sewer" set more than any of the "Yawn", sorry "Dawn of Justice" sets!....I`ve set out to buy some DC stuff and then passed ,hoping I`ll see them discounted later on ,when the next wave starts.
  13. True , but even Thanos can have a "bad day!"
  14. You`ve made a decent point there.
  15. AFOLs like us would surely want them ,wouldn't we ? (not just kids). Lot`s of the Star Wars battle-packs are snapped up by adult builders, so why not people like us who collect the D.C./Marvel stuff doing the same? Also we would only need to 4 or 5 sets to "cover all the bases".My great-grandson collects Ninjago and I try to bulk up his lack of "baddies" ,which he has himself commented on ,by getting him any Ninjago Lego magazine ,that has a Poly-bag baddie figure "freebie" attached to it, so it`s just not adults who notice the lack of "opposition" in some sets.
  16. As you can probably tell from my membership name ,I`m a builder of Lego Stars Wars, who has recently gotten hooked on Super-Heroes (mostly Marvel, but also some Batman ).These hero sets have been great, but Lego have been a bit mean ,when providing "baddies". A good example is Hydra Showdown, which comes with only one Hydra Agent. The new Batmobile Kryptonite set come with two dudes in overalls and a fork-lift (o.k. it`s a rocket armed fork-lift...but come on,it`s hardly going to get Mr Wayne breaking sweat, is it?). Now if you want to bulk up the bad ( or good) guys in Star Wars, there are many sets to be had;- Storm Troopers ,Rebels , Battle-front packs ....the closest Super-hero format set that could be called a battle-pack ( along the lines of these Star Wars sets ), is the "Iron Man vs Ultron" £12.99 little box set.In this you get Tony plus an "Ultron style glider" vehicle and three non Ultron-Prime dudes, if you buy a couple of these ,then you`ve got some real options for scene building. What I would like to see is a Marvel Hydra set ( Red Skull plus Hydra agents ), Shield ( Fury, Coulson or some other named character plus some Shield Security Dudes ).For D.C., it could be even simpler for Lego,;they already do loads of generic crooks in their City line ,and it would be cool to adapt them and box them up with say the Joker (often in film/t.v , he will have 2 or 3 thugs/hoods with him ).Also how about Sandman and some of his "goons" as they appeared in the the Lego Marvel Super Heroes console game?!!(although I realise this definitely will not happen, it would still be nice!)....So come on Lego, most of these figures are already part of your previous or currently existing lines!
  17. "let`s put a smile on that face!".................well you have put one on mine!....that`s a wonderful build!! (two if you count Bane !!)
  18. M600, this is very clever, I love it! (ce qui est très intelligent, je l'aime !....I think!?) Regards Kenny
  19. U.K Argos retail chain has a release date in latest catalogue of May 31st for Slimer ,confirming what Mediumsnowman has posted already
  20. Best Batmobile by far!!
  21. Been tempted to buy some of the physical sets, but the prices are way too much, I will be getting Slimer to go with my ECTO 1 when he comes out, but until then ,even with my local ASDA/Walmart doing a 3 for 2 price deal, I won`t be parting with any cash.....sorry LEGO, but you are being a bit greedy!
  22. Found this on Youtube.................this is going to be hard to resist and expensive as well! (if this has been shown in another thread,I`m sorry about doubling up!)
  23. Nice one AmperZand; now that`s the way it should be done!...I just wanted to make use of the car`s redundant chassis (which I turned around 90 deg. and then built on top of, hence a bigger build )..but your glider shows "that less can definitely be more!"
  24. Brilliantly done!...hope Lego have enough sense to follow your lead and do their own versions
  25. Here`s a wee rebuild from the Spidey/Goblin Set.....I gave Mr Parker a "normal " length set of blue legs, but I kept Norman as he was .......small and nasty! IMG_1333 by kenny burns, on Flickr IMG_1335 by kenny burns, on Flickr I chucked in Red Skull and Brucie for scale purposes.....(and also because I think Mr Skull is totally nutzzz!!)
