  1. I love Tartan Batman, The new guy from the upcoming movie.....and also Catman...(even if he is a "copy-cat"..pun intended)
  2. Well done ,I like mechs and this one is really good!!
  3. Probably too war-like for them, Lego don`t do much in the way of military equipment, you get the odd jeep, bland looking fighter jet or mech (like the hulk-buster), but you don`t get Tanks or even realistic small arms, the old style "wild west " Lone Rangers revolvers are the only guns I can think of that look mildly realistic!
  4. Mr. Freeze: "Sooner or later all who stand in my way must feel the icy touch of death!"
  5. You are right Cap, it`s the minifigures.com version and I love him, I maybe a D.C. fan at heart ; but Stan is "The Man!"
  6. This is insanely good, I love the Haz-mat suit!
  7. Magic build!!............. ,can`t wait for Agents of Shield season 4 to start in U.K.!
  8. Another great review, but I find these vehicles to be a bit over the top (now not sure at all about getting the Batmobile ) ,but maybe once I see the movie, I`ll relate to them better. The forth-coming Batwing ,with Harley is the one I`m looking forward to, but this Penguin set is now definitely on the list, the Penguin figure is stunning as are your fotos...keep up the great work!! Regards Kenny
  9. Time to get my spares boxes out and I see the reasoning about not everything being printed, I tore down my Black Panther jet to complete a Batwing and managed to clean off the sticker goo with nail polish remover so I could reuse the parts, but it was a pain Kenny
  10. I did, I`m a bit cack-handed with stickers, but you don`t see them much anyway, there`s also a sticker for the consul above the steering wheel, but I can live with that, but I would have happily paid a few pound more to get printed parts instead of stickers...what do you think about maybe spending a bit more to get a guaranteed neater finish? Kenny.
  11. Here`s a couple of pics of the two Marvel "characters" I`ve been waiting on and are long overdue.I haven't yet opened up the other bags of the set yet ,because to be honest the Detroit Steel mech to me is only "o.k."; Lego have not provided much in the way of printed parts (only Lola`s front grill looks be a print) and the mech is heavily reliant on stickers for it`s red, white and blue colour scheme, unlike the earlier Hulkbuster which is much better, also I think I prefer the old style Iron Man helmet moulding . However for the money (£30) ,this set is still worth getting, but I`ll be looking at some way to improve the mech. IMG_2360 by kenny burns, on Flickr IMG_2362 by kenny burns, on Flickr Regards Kenny.
  12. I nearly caved in as well, but ended up using my £20 Toy`s R `Us voucher card against some Batman The movie stuff , I also picked up the £30 Detroit Steel Set from Argos, Agent Coulson,Lola and the new Iron Man rock...but I still want these Hulks................damn you Lego !!
  13. Thanks for the faith in my abilities VaderFan, but I can barley type my worms propperly, let alone doo a verdeo revoo!! Take care Kenny.
  14. Astounding...............really astounding!!.............that`s all I have to say!
  15. Argos have this in stock finally ,so I`m off to get my reserved one tomorrow...but my local Toys r Us still doesn`t have it! I`m a happy camper!!
  16. Thanks for sharing, It`s nice that you have shown clearly all the elements of the set and the photos are great...!!...basically everything you need to see has been presented in a simple clear way. Take care and I look forward to seeing more Kenny
  17. Oh ,hell yes ..I love this!!!
  18. I`,m a die-hard Batman fan, but this Marvel set at only £29.99,has Coulson,Lola and a new Iron Man Helmet mould and is a must have !!
  19. I agree , it`s time the station wagon made it`s debut, well done on a brilliant fun design !!
  20. Toys`r`Us has it listed (but doesn`t have stock yet ) and it is £54.99...way too much, but like you Captain Britain, I want those figures !
  21. Ahh!....alien,nasty thingies, created by David Gerrold.
  22. That`s what AustrianLegoFan is quoting in this build up video...to me ( cool figures aside ) ; this is nothing more than an over-priced Juniors set, but if you want the figures (as I do ),then you either pay full price or hope to pick it up later on sale...Lego really do want their pound of flesh these days ...more stickers (in other recently released sets ), less pieces but a bigger price tag!Just2Good has already mentioned this set on his youtube channel ,he wasn`t too impressed and I can now see why.......what do you folks think?......(sorry about messy look of this post,...an edit turned into a quote! ...so you get the video twice...(I am a total @$*£-head when it comes to the inter-web! )
  23. I found I had a lot of grey, black and yellow bricks ,so I used some of them up on this beastie.....( sorry about the back-ground ;all I could find that was white was an old piece of card-board ) Kenny. 24. Duncan I totally agree; the Zod head is much better than the original and I really like the re-build of the Hide-out a lot. This is one of the weakest Lego Super Hero sets yet. But the figures do bring it up a bit , I ended up making the desert buggy into a sort of "Bat-V.W.",. Cos it was so weak and I was stumped as to what to do with it, the building parts ended up in my spares box, but now I might dig em` out thanks to you! Regards Kenny
