  1. Perhaps the new theme park needs a better transport which can maneuver in the city, right? Based on my previous truck design, I did this for moving the raptors. The tractor section has a turret that can be used for any emergency cases like dinosaur escape, and now raptor transport can go through the city without problem! Hope you enjoy this :) thanks!
  2. Hi folks, I'm happy to introduce my alternate build from the official set 42126 Ford F-150 Raptor, the Unimog (UniMOC) U1400 with Snowplow attachment. As the little brother of 8110 Unimog U400, this model in 1:17 scale uses 1264 parts of the inventory from the set 42126 Ford F-150 Raptor and 2 spare parts included in the set with a total of 1266 parts. Having the set 42126 Ford F-150 Raptor, all parts are available to build this alternate model and no other parts from other sets are required. The two spare parts from 42126 to build this Unimog U1400 alternate are: Instructions are available on rebrickable Follow this link to my page for more content Functions & Features HoG-steering independent suspension in front and back working 4-piston engine under the hood openable doors detailed interior openable hood to reveal engine attachment for Snowplow, moveable in high and tilting angle fully closed tipper bed with openable lid and lock additional snow shovel 40cm x 20cm x 18cm Impressions Sticker The model 42126 Ford F-150 Raptor uses many sticker for the lights in front and back, which are reused in this Unimog U1400. The images above shows some custom sticker, which are not part of the 42126 model and not mandatory to build this alternate Unimog U1400. Those custom sticker are optional and only used for better and more realistic look. If you have the ability to print custom sticker, feel free to do to polish up this model. Below this is how the front of the model looks like without any custom sticker, but with the original headlights of the Raptor... ...and without any sticker, for custom headlights for example. Instructions The premium instructions with high quality images as usual comes with 254 pages for a challenging but satisfying building experience. For a 18+ set, this alternate model is not more difficult to build than the Raptor. The instructions are available at Rebrickable. Here are some example pages of the instructions: Unimog U1400 in real Have fun with this replica of Unimog U1400 alternate build and feel free to build and discuss. I know this model is not 4x4 and it can't be 'cause the Raptor is not 4x4 and there are no parts in 42126 to do that.
  3. The baby raptor videos in Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom were some of my favorite parts of the movie. Thankfully lego made Owen in his outfit from those scenes, and more importantly all of the raptor squad as babies. I started out knowing I wanted to use the grated floor and being interested in figuring out how to build the roof with plants and vines growing all over it. I tried to match the decor as best as I could, like the wall painted with trees, orange leaves strewn about, black rocks, food+water trough. “Did you get that?” Fulfilling my headcanon that it was Barry who recorded the videos. Camera design taken from balbo._ on instagram. Blue isn’t hungry, she’s curious Barry feeding Delta Echo jumping for the hanging toy. Back when I planned this build I didn’t think it’d even be possible to satisfyingly show this, the DC CMF piece proving useful once again. Cuddly Charlie They make the best of playtime until they become lethal at eight months old. Back view of the whole building. Used a whole lot of clip pieces for both the ladder and seaweed pieces. Top view of all the plants sitting over the roof. Thanks for looking!

  7. In a post apocalyptic world where machinery is rare and mostly doesn´t work, nomadic people rely on domesticated dinosaurs to travel and get from one place to another. This guy is part of one nomadic family and with his fast Velociraptor,he´s there to scout the nearby area for anyimminent danger. Since he´s not alone,he only has some sparce luggage packed in the saddle. His well trained raptor is carrying a body armor made out of wood and metal, enough to protect it from minor attacks by local tribes and still light enough so the raptor can travel at great speeds. [MOC] TIE Raptor

[spoilers for the X-Wing series and Courtship of Princes Leia] The TIE Raptor or TIE/rpt was a starfighter design used by Warlord Zsinj's Empire during his reign from the Battle of Endor until his final defeat at the hands of the Hapan Royal Navy. A fast and manouverable design, it was not a regular SFS product like other TIE models, but was produced from Sienar components at the shipyards of Zsinj's hideout - Rancor Base - over Dathomir. Raptors are known to have participated in the battles of Vahaba and Selaggis, and were most likely used in many other missions and engagements, since Zsinj's elite troopers (also named Raptors) used them for space combat. The TIE/rpt was equipped with 4 laser cannons and 2 concussion missile launchers, but like most TIE models, lacked shielding, though some prototypes were produced. I admit my design is far from perfect, but I hope you still enjoy seeing my take on the Raptor. Pictures can be found on my Flickr page: Technical data and history of the TIE Raptor: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/TIE/rpt_starfighter You can learn more about Zsinj here: http://www.starwars.com/news/the-imperial-warlords-despoilers-of-an-empire-part-1 http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Zsinj

    [MOC] LEGO Beast Wars Dinobot

Wrapping up my latest MOC, Beast Wars Dinobot. This one is a commission piece requested by a fellow Transformers fan, based on this guy below: Since I prefer to build LEGO TF inspired from G1 Transformers series (mostly cars or mechanical-looking beasts/animals), this MOC is a slightly different ballgame since the mode is organic-looking. I'm glad I got enough right parts in brown and similar tones to pull this through. One of the advantages of building LEGO Transformers with beast mode is that the robot arms literally form themselves without complex transformation ... like this Dinobot (or G1 Grimlock) where the dino legs become the robot arms easily.. The raptor arms were the final components I built. Without knowing how they will blend in, in robot mode, I'm suprised they turn out to be one of my favorite design techniques in this MOC (besides the raptor head which took me a while to built). The original BW Dinobot toy is pretty simple actually so its not hard to improvise upon it. But I dislike partsforming in any form (huge chunk of tail becomes weapons, duh). I took BOTH liberties in replicating the tail-weapon thingy (its a commission piece anyway.. cannot detract too much from what's expected by the client) , and also continue my no-partsforming policy in designing (the tail can remain there in beast mode until it end up on the back of the robot mode when done transforming). Attempt to fulfil the latter compounded in extra 1 week of building efforts. I build the raptor arms without considering how they will blend into the robot mode. To my suprise... they blended/tucked in perfectly without any form of redesigning. How I wish the back could be the front/chest instead compared to a raptor head .. but this is a commission piece.. so I gotta stay true to the original BW Dinobot toy =) Without dismantling the raptor tail , transformation to robot mode will cause the tail to end up at the back , facing up. Dinobot once auditioned for 'V' but was rejected due to poor range (he don't have a human /Pretender mode) Visit my blog in my signature to view the transformation sequence and even more photos of this guy. =)
  12. This is a fun little experiment of mine that I've been working on for quite a while. Anyone remember the BIONICLE Master Builder Set? Well, I've been exploring the possibility of something similar based on the Hero Factory building system. So far, I've come up with seven models that can be built from seventy-seven pieces. All images link to Flickr: Dog: Monkey: Hawk: Kangaroo: Turtle: Gorilla: Raptor: Each of these models contains between twenty and thirty pieces. The only piece that I used that does not already appear in sets in the correct color is a black rubber whip (61975) which I used for the monkey's tail. Inventory: Anyone think this merits a LEGO Cuusoo proposal? Or is it too much of a long shot?
