  1. Hi! Here is my rendition of the Battlestar Galactica Colonial Viper MkII. The model is 55cm long, made of 2696 parts. The canopy can be sled open, and the landing gears are retractable, just like the real one! :) There is also a display stand: You can see high res pictures here: https://flic.kr/s/aHsm1djZ7U I propose the building instructions for 10EUR (268pages pdf files, including the ready-to-print sticker sheet, part list and detailed step-by-step building process). Drop me an email to get all the details! So Say We All! David

    [LDD MOC] Colonial Vipers

I finished a recent update to my TOS (MK-I) Colonial Viper in LDD/Bluerender. Thought I would render it with my MK-II version for comparison. The MK-I version is a major update over my previous versions and incorporates many of the building techniques from the MK-II version. Both feature nearly studless exteriors and fully retractable landing gear. It was quite a challenge to incorporate the landing gear while getting the shapes as accurate as possible in a "mini-fig" scale implementation. The cockpits are very cramped and not as detailed as I would typically like, but that was one of the compromises to achieve the overall form. Though, not apparent from the picture above, both models have studless under-bellies allowed by many of the newer "snot" bricks that are now available. The MK-II version contains 322 pieces and has been built in real bricks. It has been posted for some time and can be found in this brickshelf gallery The MK-I version contains 438 pieces and for now is a virtual model only. Other renders can be found in this gallery (when made public). Though previous iterations of the MK-I have been built, this one relies on many newer parts and will take some time to acquire via bricklink (if they exist in the desired colors). Thanks for looking, drc
  3. Hi! After the Colonial Viper MkII and the Cylon Raider, let me present you my latest MOC: the Colonial Raptor. 4. Hi All! After my UCS Colonial Viper MkII, here is the UCS Cylon Raider, inspired from the same reboot series! Built at the same scale as the Viper, it will be the perfect match. Lighting effects can be easily added, and will give your model a final aggressive touch. For this model again, you can purchase the building instructions as a high quality 326 pages pdf, which includes the ready-to-print UCS sticker, as well as separated part lists for the display stand and for the Raider itself. The part lists are also provided as an XML files. Just drop me an email at davdupmocs(at)yahoo.com and I will send you all the details! So Say We All!

    [MOC] Colonial Viper Mk. II

Hi all, I just finished the reimagined battlestar galactica, and it was phenomenal. So, I just had to build myself a viper. It has landing gear that raises and lowers, and it can fit one pilot.
