  1. Hi together, the Lucasfilm fantasy classic 'Willow' from 1988 with Warwick Davis and Val Kilmer has recently cast a spell on me. So I decided to create some MOCs to bring the film closer to others as well. I will probably build more mocs for this, so this is called 'Chapter 1'. Please enjoy. Story (very) shortened in comments [spoiler] . The Nelwyn are little and mostly happy people. They live together in villages close to the forest, work as craftsmen, celebrate festivals– all what a happy folk does. But beware, there are also "great" warriors among them. One of these Nelwyn is called "Willow". As a farmer and aspiring sorcerer, he and his wonderful wife Kiaya have two children, Ranon and Mims. One day the children were playing by the river and found something in the water... The adventure begins! If there's one Nelwyn that could be described as rather unfriendly, it’d be Burglekutt. The day they found the baby, the prefect of the village and chairman of the village council accuses Willow of stealing seeds. They can only be bought from Burglekutt. Willow explained he and his wife had been looking for them in the forest last autumn. But the sleazy and grumpy Nelwyn wishes Willow only bad luck and he hopes to own his land soon. On a festival in the Nelwyn Village, all residents are present to enjoy magic tricks , music, dance and more. Looking for a future sorcerer's apprentice, the High Aldwin asked at a ceremony in which finger the power of the universe is in. But even Willow was on the right track, he changes his mind at the last minute. And so again, no application is successful. As Willow's disappointment continues, a frightening threat approached... Evil Queen Bavmorda's Death Dogs had tracked down the baby. Elora Danans is the chosen one of a prophecy who would cause downfall of Bavmorda. Now it‘s the time of the Nelwyn warriors . After deafeating the beast, Willow presents the baby to the council. No, Willow wasn't thrown into the pit. But he should bring her to the Daikini. So Willow, some brave companions (and Burglekutt) leave their home. That’s the beginning of a long journey and the end of chapter one --- The idea came from my current LEGOIdeas project. Maybe you'd like to have a look. Link: https://ideas.lego.com/s/p:2083518f81ae404c88198126c5ad7868 (Of course I'd appreciate a support there too ). Thanks for your attention. And of course I'd be glad to discuss about it. Sincerley, Tobi aka. MontyMatte

Amazing! I can't watch the video often enough. I need to process how you built some elements first. Great work.

[MOC] Majisto's advanced portal magic class

Laughed so much. You must have had to collect the books for some time?! I would like to make a note of the way you built the scrolls and use them once. As simple as it is ingenious.

Wow. Thanks for sharing this great MOC. I love your high level of details and your photos let me dive in the situation. How long did you need to create this?

    Everdell Chapel [MOC]

What an awesome building. I still have to read up a bit. It takes a while with my English. But these clothed animals are just fantastic. And of course the creation anyway.

    [MOC] Assault on Lothlórien

It's really difficult these days. As a fan of LOTR, I bought a few sets back then and always kept my eyes open for second hand. So I have at least 30. But these are of course my favourites. Surely there are also ways to recreate them reasonably well.

[LEGOIdeas] Willow - Battle of Tir Asleen

Thank you for your efforts. I really appreciate that. Now I have the helmet at home. Unfortunately I'm not that happy with the result. I have to think of a samurai every time. We (or I) must think of something else. Maybe misuse parts. I'll think about the troll again later. Thanks for pointing that out too :) In my creation there is a printed acorn tile. Did you see that?
  23. Cute house. Like it very much. The architecture is awesome :)
