This model was originally inspired by three sets: 3817 (Flying Dutchman) from the Spongebob Squarepants theme, set 4184 (The Black Pearl) from Pirates of the Caribbean, and 21322 (Pirates of Barracuda Bay), from Ideas. It features three and a 1/2 masts with what are going to be fabric sails of Black Pearl size but of 2010 Imperial Flagship markings. The 2016 Ninjago "Skybound" flag (see below) will fly from the middle mast as Captain Henry Walker's pirate flag. The ship also has a crows nest and two removable sections: a rear upper deck for access to the captain's cabin and a forward deck panel for getting at the front four cannons. (there are eight cannons total on the ship) Here is the rear of the ship featuring the captain's cabin windows and a trio of lanterns. The ship's name, the Inferno, goes in printed 1 x 1 tiles on the exposed gray studs on the rear of the ship. The rowboat sits on a section of deck that easily comes off for access to the cannons. The roof of the captain's cabin is removable, with a table and chair for Captain Walker to sit at and read maps. Captain Henry Walker (in green) and his crew. The pirate flag of the Captain Walker. NOTES: I'm working on getting this built in real life, since my last ship is so unreasonably expensive to build in real life it's ridiculous. (Thus this one is better, as it less expensive / parts intensive) I'm gonna need help on the sails, so I'm asking @Alazon, would you mind helping me with these please? They would be in Black Pearl sizes, but in 2010 imperial flagship style colors? Comments, questions, and complaints are always welcome!

Hello friends! After so many years of reading and fawning over everyone else's ships, I finally got up the courage to post one of my own. I wanted to make a pirate ship that was playable while still being sort of accurate. So while you won't see any hand-strung shrouds and ratlines, I can assure you that it's a hit with the kids. I call it the Medusa, mostly because of the green color scheme I adopted for this project. Pirate ships look so good in red and black, sometimes I forget that any vessel could have been a pirate ship. I opted to portray this pirate captain before his debilitating injuries. His name is Horatio North, in case you're wondering. Okay, so I'm aware that rudder is garbage. I actually forgot to build a rudder at all until I went to take pictures. It will get revised out when I go to clean up that quarter; it looks o.k. in real life, but the picture definitely doesn't catch its good side. Fun fact: half the cannon doors on this ship are fake! Even though I'm too young to have played with classic pirate sets, I respect the nostalgia with this fancy chap. Besides, he matches the ship! The more attractive, rugged version of that last bloke I think that thing is called a 'cathead.' The figurehead was a pain in the butt, but the end result is worth it IMHO Most of the sails are easy to take down and replace after a fierce battle The very meh stern Yup. This is the innovative, super-useful thing I put in the cabin. Kinda looks like the chair from Blue's Clues. A bookcase, since I failed at making a brick-built map of the world on that wall. I did, however, find room for my favorite detail from The Brick Bounty Okay, so I basically make storage space when I can't think of anything cool to go there. u_u Under the bell and the [fake] scuttle, I included some bunks. Can someone help me out? I know I took this cannon design from somebody on this forum, but I can't remember who it was. Let me know if these look familiar so I can properly thank them. Finally, a shot of the jolly bunch all together. This was my fourth focused attempt to make a brig that was both fun to play with and more accurate than not. Not sure if I succeeded, but I had a blast doing it. I have another ship I built for the Bluecoats that I haven't photographed yet. With your comments and constructive criticisms, perhaps I can coax up the courage to post that piece as well. MAC

Hello fellow builders, I present you the Flying Dutchman, the infamous ghost ship from the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, in LEGO! The idea came to me a year ago, while I was sitting at my desk when I cast me eyes upon the 3 official LEGO POTC ships on the top of my shelf: The Black Pearl, The Queen Anne's Revenge, and The Silent Mary. For years I had been waiting for LEGO to release a Flying Dutchman, but to no avail it never came out. Determined to build the ship myself, I embarked on an exciting, challenging but rewarding journey to produce a MOC which would take up its rightful place among my fleet and make it complete. As a LEGO dragon fan, I had been eyeing up Ninjago set 71829 Lloyd's Green Forest Dragon for a while but hadn't pulled the trigger when a friend bought it for me as a surprise gift. The reason for not getting it myself was that there were features of the dragon that bothered me. I'm not particularly into Ninjago so was seeking a more generic green dragon, e.g. a quadruped, not a biped, and one that was better proportioned (the wings are very large compared to the body). When the set recently went on sale at a retailer where I have loyalty points, I couldn't resist the urge to get a second dragon and combine them. The resulting dragon is very much more to my liking. I set myself the following requirements: Quadrupedal dragon More proportional overall More posable/better articulation More greebling/more organic looking More generic fantasy/not specifically Ninjago Not designed to be ridden Smallest possible number of additional pieces, i.e. parts not from two 71829s In the end, I only used four additional parts: two 6043656 and two 6039479. This is what I came up with. What do you think? -
Anyone here has found a safe way to create transparent green color Lego pieces out of Trans clear pieces? Just like the Turmeric technique to create trans yellow pieces.

This green 1930's streamlined caboose was inspired by a very similar real-world Wabash caboose (Katy didn't own streamlined cars like this as far as I know) located on the Katy Rail-Trail at St. Charles, Missouri. The caboose model is also inspired build-wise by the Katy Caboose (as in, "The Caboose who got Loose" from the children's book) model I copied in late 2021 from @zephyr1934's MOC, The one shown later in this post is my own version of that caboose, which you can read about in it's own topic here, or you can see his original version in his own topic. I was going to put MKT (standing for Missouri - Kansas - Texas Railroad, the same owner of Katy caboose, and from where she gets her name) on the sides of the new caboose where the printed brick is but in printed 1 x 1 tile letters, but the needed green 1 x 4 Technic bricks were problematic, as was the two letter T's that I don't have. Also, the doors to the inside open, but there are no interior details. There are a number of similarities between the two caboose models. However, they are more different than alike for several reasons. For example, Katy has A LOT more SNOT-work compared to her newer cousin. Why, you ask? Katy's walls are all sideways to better represent planks of wood (typical in caboose construction up until early-1910's), whereas her opposite number has only SNOT in the base of the body / stairs and regular bricks everywhere else to represent more modern steel construction. (I also left the mouth and eyes off the new arrival.) Thoughts anyone?

This model was heavily inspired by the 2014 original eight-studs wide Ghostbusters Ecto-1 (set 21108) and a convertible MOD of that set I found on Rebrickable. I've been kicking this model around in my head since early September in several colors, (black, blue, dark gray, and red were among those considered) but green is the one I finally settled on. Instead of a late-50's Cadillac Miller-Meteor ambulance, it's now based on the (very similar) '59 Cadillac Eldorado. In the changeover, I added a hardtop (removable) roof, mirrors, and 1/2-stud offset side-by-side seating for two (with a third seat in the back row). I also changed around the wheels. I thought about putting a spare tire back here, but it proved to look stupid no matter what I did, so I left it off. The roof and rear windscreen are only connected by a few studs, making them removable. The car easily seats three figures total. Here is the original set 21108 I was inspired by, Ghostbuster Ecto-1 from 2014. Thoughts? EDIT 1/4/23: Real life photos added of finished model. Thoughts anybody? -

After seeing the new lantern piece, I thought to myself "What's stopping me from putting different colours in the lantern?" Nothing is. Then that's where the lightbulb lit up like fireworks on 4th of July: Green Lantern's Lantern! I like the lantern from the 2015 set; the designers did very god work with the old lantern considering the scale and the pieces they had available back in 2015. However, with the addition of the new piece I feel it looks a better scale than 2015. Honest opinions are appreciated and welcome. Expect to see some more photos soon

When the adventure gets tough, it's time to break out the rough-and-tumble Dark Green Jungle Machine! As soon as I started building, I knew I wanted to use dark green as the main color. I included a few details here and there to maintain a connection to the Adventurers theme. See if you can spot them; I've used older pieces as well as newer ones (including old shapes in new colors). I know I normally post stuff on the forums about Lego Technic, but I also enjoy building Lego MineCraft sets as well and connecting them together. Today, I looked at my The First Night set and noticed something very odd. I got the set on Christmas Eve 2015, and I never noticed this problem the entire time I had it. This is Lego's official picture for the set. Focus on the green 2x2 plate with knob above the brown 2x2 brick with the rose on the right of the pig. When you build the set, the instructions show that there is no green plate below the rose. I don't think there is even a spare piece for it. I checked the internet and I believe nobody ever noticed this before. I'm perfectly fine with it though, since everyone occasionally makes mistakes. What do you think? Has anyone here saw this mistake before?

Hello eurobricks train tech!! I bring you today my first lego train moc. I am new to eurobricks so please point out any mistakes I may have made. I was inspired by scotnick's 14xx and decided to have a go at it. The construction of the model went very smoothly and I had originally used the 2x4 turntable for the trailing wheel. When I tested it, it wouldn't function properly and I had to replace it. So for two hours, I experimented with many different designs until I came up with one utilizing the ring plate and that err...longish blueish pin thingy! But it fit the bill and I'm happy! It is powered by the lego train motor with lights for the Lantern and the receiver in the cab. I do plan to build a autocoach to go with it which will house the battery box. Another problem I encountered was I had none of the I think 4x4 round bricks with holes in dark green, and since I don't buy any parts, I just used the 4x6 long half circle brick (I'm not that great with piece names!) And used some double sided tape to stick on the domes and an ausini clone brand chain for the chain on the front (I'm unarmed don't shoot! ) So stay posted guys, and look out for more projects coming soon! This is my third Lord of the Rings/Hobbit MOC and it is more of an artistic view on the famous shot of Bilbo's door in the Hobbit. This is not an exact re-creation identical to the movies but I still really like it and the scale is really nice. I wish I could finish the whole house but like most of my MOCS, I just don't have the parts. I hope you enjoy my idea of The door to Hobbiton.

This is a fast 15 min build. What does eurobricks think? This oni has two katanas and a barrel on hes back. And a nice addition of a beer gut armor made out of a bohrok head armor piece.

A time when villages weren't burnt or plundered, and peasants murdered or taken as slaves. A time when you didn't walk in fear and look over your shoulder at every turn. A time when you could rest under a tree, and know no drow would slaughter you in your sleep. First build of the year (at last) :P and its pretty simple. Just a small scene to start with larger ones on the way. The Hill was a nice challenge to try and create, and I needed another tree design so this was the perfect time to try it out. I'm pretty happy overall. I will probably post one or two builds today or tomorrow. Hope you enjoy :) P.s. I did mean it to seem a little blocky :P

This 2-6-2 Prairie type engine was inspired by the My Own Train series of 2001 and a boiler from set 79111 (Constitution Train Chase). The passenger coaches and baggage car were inspired by set 10015 (Passenger Wagon), and set 10194 (Emerald Night). They feature no interior but all three passenger cars have four opening doors. The baggage car has two opening doors, two sliding panel-doors and an "exploding" back wall inspired by set 79111. (Constitution Train Chase). The whole train together. Here we can see the rear of the train with the back wall (and dynamite) still in place. (You may notice the baggage car is a modified version of the green Western jail car I already have built) The yellow 1 x 4 bricks used are actually supposed to be green printed bricks with this on them. The tender features a coal bunker, and water tank, plus a ladder at the rear for accesses to the passenger train. The cab features a firebox door (a 2 x 2 round tile) and two printed gauge tiles. The coaches were inspired by set 10015 (Passenger Wagon), and set 10194 (Emerald Night). They feature no interior but all three passenger cars have four opening doors. The exploding baggage car was originally the Jail car from set 79111. (Constitution Train Chase) while gaining the styling of set 10015 (Passenger Wagon) and doors from 10194. (Emerald Night) This car has one play feature that is sure to blow you away: the back wall can be removed to get at the baggage compartment via the "dynamite" on the outside of the back wall. (actually, the roof top lever knocks the wall loose) Then your train robbers can make off with whatever valuable are inside! As usual, the LDD file for the whole train is seen here while the loco and tender by themselves are here. Comments, Questions, Complaints, & Suggestions are always welcome. This train is on my to-do list, but won't be built for a while... maybe this summer?

Just a quick discussion...I was planning on buying the Ninjago set 70752 Jungle Trap so that I could use the translucent green sword pieces for my Green Lantern. I now realize that there are way more translucent green pieces than yellow and that Sinestro only has his one sword-thing. Anyway, are there any good translucent pieces (specifically yellow) like weapons or just normal bricks for the Lanterns to use?

Hi there! Cant stop with building yotas. Here is my next one. Based on red FJ40 posted earlier, but chassis was modified. The most visible change is increased wheelbase. Beside that: another rear suspension with 4 links+ panhard, 2 speed gearbox. Wider axles installed now with bigger ground clearance under front axle. Roof is convertible as in FJ40. Place for aux motors is free and waiting. And now the most interesting part of process started: Brainstorming extra functions... And I've also made 1 step forward to construction machines: This MOC have yellow pieces.... lets see what I can do with that:) your comments can help me;) UPDATED AFTER FINISHING MOC BUILD: Here is Toyota FJ45 pickup with snow plow attachment. Truck is based on early FJ40 model. Difference is in wheelbase, rear axle and gearbox. Features: • All time 4x4 transmission • 2-speed manual gearbox (high/low ratio) • Live axles suspension with 2 link + panhard rod at each • Openable doors with locks, bonnet, bed door • Convertible roof • Detailed saloon • Customs stickers • FJ45 custome Sbrick control profile was designed at designer.sbrick.com • John Deere color scheme Motorized functions: • Propulsion: XL-motor • Steering: Servo-motor • Winch/Plow elevation: M-motor • Snow plow tilt left/right: M-motor Powered by LiPo battery block thru Smart Brick final release unit (sbrick.com) + Additional plow PF LED-lights Plow is elevated by winch. This scheme is popular in cheap and simple snow plows. Tilt in such model usually manually customized or use hydraulics. I used lever-push mechanism to tilt left/right. Hi everybody ! NickAb and I would like to present you our new collaborative project based on the 2011 movie The Green Hornet. The set has been designed like an official superheroes set. My main inspirations were the old Spider-man sets #4850 and #4853, and the Catwoman Catcycle City Chase. The minifigs : The Original decals have been created by NickAb. I've tried to attach importance to the renderings so as to give all the prestige that this car deserves.
