I am very sad that there are no constraction sets and lines anymore. So I developed an concept for a science fiction based constraction line. The main characters are robots with A.I. which are built on an big space station and then launched in canisters on a planet to explore it. There also would exist other robots, like mining robots, which only have a primitiv A.I. and they would be produced in mass, while the main robots would be built idividual and special with an advanced A.I. The villains could be some evil robots or alien cyborgs(I think a similar design like the Phantoka Makuta would be cool) or something like that, while the protagonists would learn and develop their own personality. I think there is still hope for constraction. When we constraction fans are able to create a theme, an idea, which is interesting, lego could bring constraction back. I know that no theme will ever be as great as bionicle but i really like constraction and maybe a new line could bring it back. I want to know your thoughts on this concept and what you would add, change or rmove in the concept.

However, I never managed to finish that design and had to put this on the backburner indefinitely. And here we are, a whole four years (and an entire LEGO collection rebuilt from scratch) later. Hope you guys enjoy it and I look forward to showcasing some more MOCs on here! It's been years since I posted something here XD

Hi everyone! This is the first part of a series of revamps I've recently done of the Phantoka and Mistika sets in the CCBS style of BIONICLE G2. In this thread I'll post my revamps of the six Toa. Since the moment I lay eyes on the kanohi Iden I've always pictured it belonging to an elegant, gentlemanly-looking character. wanted to make this redcoat aesthetic work. Safe to say I managed to pull this off? I'll let you all be the judge of that!

Though ever vigilant, the threat of the Mutant Lizards was getting to be too much for Shadow, Digger, Viper, and Specs. Will the new rookie Chunk, with his experimental new Dino-fighting machine, the Magma Tanker, be enough to turn the tides of battle..? Reverse shot Something I've had lying around for a while now inspired by the theme fusion round of last year's Bio-cup. Kind of a mix of Dino Attack, Power Miners, and Bionicle. Special thanks to Chubbybots for the brilliant leg design.

Oh I just learned this will be my 100th post. This is also my second MOC Here.I am still getting used to my new camera so I'm sorry if the photos aren't the best. Once again I appreciate all feedback. Here Is Po-Scorpio IMG_20190129_131716946 by Dark Maste, on Flickr Po-Scorpio is a giant species of omnivorous Scorpio Rahi that inhabits the central arid regions. It is territorial and aggressive beware all Toa who cross it's path though it's slower mind might allow you to out smart the beast. Here's a rundown of what I built for the BioCup 2024. BioCup 2024 R0: Journey to Mars! Journey to Mars by Mohamed Marei, on Flickr "Seven years of astronaut school. Seven more years of travel... And here we are. RING RING RING .... Time to wake up." Built for the preliminary round of the BioCup. Theme: space. For this MOC, I combined the classic Lunar Buggy aesthetic with some modern concept art designs to yield this piece. The astronaut builds on top of a Technic Fig whose arms are swapped out for thicker-looking padded arms. The legs get a similar treatment with metal ingots in white. Merlin the deranged! by Mohamed Marei, on Flickr "Merlin's newfound fascination with alchemy has yielded an array of.... interesting experiments, to say the least." Built for BioCup 2024 R1 Theme: Energy Subtheme: Chemical Building something interesting for this round was a real challenge. I toyed around with various concepts until I stumbled upon my limited collection of light nougat bricks.. and then a face emerged. Slowly over the next few days, I built up Merlin and the rest of the scene, inspired by an alchemical twist on the traditional Dungeons and Dragons evil wizard trope. The whole time I was building, you could hear me sing "Necromancer" by Judas Priest. In fact, this ended up being the theme song of this build, and Merlin was built in the image of Rob Halford, legendary musician and Judas Priest frontman, who's also a native Brummie! The gargoyles at the back came last; they were more of an afterthought that panned out quite well I must admit. Sadly, this MOC didn't make it through the matchup I was in, but I took it to my display at Brick Festival Birmingham the following day (Saturday 22nd of June), where it received widespread critical acclaim.

King Mathias and His Royal Guard by Mohamed Marei, on Flickr "At long last, His Majesty is crowned! Long may He reign!" Initially built as a spiritual continuation of the Knights Kingdom 2018 collab, this build has now been assimilated into my UK 2022 convention lineup. My display was called: CCBS Kingdom Figures. The build started off with a janky looking prototype of King Mathias, where the challenge was to sort out the appearance of the shoulders. Once I had the concept figured out, I trialled several iterations before I was happy with the end result. The throne draft came together thanks to a spontaneous handful of visits to my local PAB wall and some yet-to-be-sorted BL orders. It was left at 70% done in early 2021, when I first posted an earlier version of this design. Then in 2022, in the week before my first UK Brick Festival (May 2022), I hashed out the Royal Guards, which I aimed to keep simple yet detailed. Finally, the base, initially coming together during one of the slower events I was displaying at, was used to incorporate the entire build. Again, another spontaneous PAB wall visit was the source of all the white tiles I came to possess. Overall I am quite happy with the end result, and will be taking this along to some more 2023 shows before retiring it for next year, but not before I've changed things up a bit with my new display (currently in the works). I would send it along to the US convention circuit but I don't think it's too feasible for me right now. Here's a link to an Instagram Reel to show you a full 360 view!

As we all know, vote caused a conflict between Bionicle fans and System fans. The main reason is fact that all of Top 4 series (exept Bionicle) have already some great sets. LEGO Pirates fans have 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay set, LEGO Space fans have 70816 Benny's Spaceship and 21109 Exo-Suit. Fans of Castle series have 21325 Medieval Blacksmith and I'm sure, we'll see some kind of Castle-themed series soon, even without voting. What about LEGO Bionicle fans? After cutting short its story in 2010, and waiting 5 years for proper continuation, LEGO created a reboot that failed in many ways. But gave us great parts to creating MOCs. Unfortunatelly, Bionicle G2 ended in 2017 and since that, it's really hard to get any pieces for normal price. Remnants of LEGO Star Wars buildable figures are expensive cause of license and Bricklink is the only place where we can get CCBS parts now. Bionicle fans are affraid that LEGO will soon destroy moulds from G2, making impossible for us to get bricks like 24189, 24190, 24191 or 20474 that were great for building MOCs. The conflict will increase until LEGO start caring about Bionicle fans. If LEGO doesn't want to give us new sets, it should at least release some jars with CCBS parts in three size variants: Matoran, Toa and Titan, which will contain skeleton parts, shells (not only in standard colors, but sand-green, purple etc. too), weapons, technic joints, technic panels and recolored masks that will allow us to reforge our anger into creativity. Bionicle has great potential to create action figures, giant fantasy creatures and vehicles with lot of technic functions. But it's hard to build MOCs without parts. If there's a LEGO theme like LEGO Classic, we can have LEGO CCBS too. I know, part of system fans doesn't care, but what about you, Bionicle fans? Do you think, there's a chance for CCBS jars or we'll continue to buying sets like Corvette ZR1 just to have parts to create another Rahi? :p -
“Alone in the barren desert of po-Wahi, this lone bohrok va is on his way back to the hive when he is attacked by Rahi, the Matoran villagers of po- Koro take him to their village elder and he instructs the Matoran to repair him and they do so, now he repays his debt by protecting the Matoran from further threats. His enhancements include improved armor, better movement, a better visor for increased accuracy for his..., new weapon quad barreled energy blaster attached to his right hand. Dispite being a bohrok va, saw the light of the Matoran and defected and helps protect them, he eventually found and met with nuparu, an onu Matoran, he discussed on how he found a decommissioned and badly damaged exo toa armor and they worked together to make a battle suit for the guardian bohrok. He had fallen during the take over from Makuta. But he has reportedly been seen on the island of okoto defending villagers from the villans.” Will we see you again, maybe. If you don't get stomped you'll be impaled on his horns! His green eyes has seen much from his long life. The building of cities destroys precious grassland environments for Mammut-kals, Which need large areas to herd, eat, and live. Illegal hunting has taken a toll as well. Their horns while comparatively small, are the hardest and purest ivory. And because of this many are slaughtered each year. Though many die while doing so. the toa Steven may be small but he is mighty his razor shield will cut through the opposition and his wrist mounted blaster is great for when the going gets tough.

In onu-Koro after the bohrok swarms invaded the Onu-Koro Matoran decided they needed a guard force so the first volunteer joined the guard and as such is the captain, he is equipped with a light stone torch and a arm blaster for crystals. action pose
