    Badshahi Mosque

Another free-build for Kaliphlin. I quite like how this turned out, though getting all the patterns to look right was a bit tricky. I would like to claim UoP credits for: Wall techniques -- Demonstrate mastery of three advanced wall techniques. Standard, studs-up walls of bricks are not included. Round walls and towers The Badshahi Mosque is a very prominent mosque in Kaliphlin, known for it's ornate architecture and massive gateway. Lots more pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, C&C appreciated

    Kaliphlin Port

A free build for Kaliphlin! This was one of the funnest builds I’ve done in a while, and I quite like how it turned out; particularly the bright color scheme. Inspiration from Mark of Falworth’s Seaside Harbor: Link More pictures here: Link All C&C appreciated
  3. The Company of Lord Theodore Bruin has heard the call from the Desert King. Much like all the other mercenary companies that gather at Sultan's Gate, the so called "Teddy's Bears" are hoping to gain both gold and glory from the upcoming crusade. Travelling down from the North these Mitgardians need to pass trough some rough terrain before reaching the land of Kaliphlin. The company consists of three divisions, the knights, the footmen and the archers, all resourceful and reliable soldiers commanded by the respectable Lord Bruin and his counsellor. The company is of course also bringing their loyal mascot, the brown bear Boo. For the Desert King's Nocturnus Crusade Mini Challenge. /Etzel
  4. A powerful and mysterious mage who fought in many battles during the civil war travels towards Sultan's Gate with his newly trained dragon to fight for the Desert King once more. This is for Ska's mini challenge.
  5. This is my entry to the Desert King's Nocturnus Crusade mini-challenge Changing Allegiance (again) The notorious mercenary company "The Arkbri Falcons", under the command of Ediz Falconi, were fighting for the High Council during the Kaliphlin Civil War. They have however decided that at the moment joining the forces of the Desert King presents the most likely prospect for hoards of gold at a moderate risk. Mounted on camels, the Arkbri Falcons are now following one of Kaliphlin's ancient paved roads on their way to Sultan's Gate. They will meet up with forces from all over Kaliphlin to support the Desert King in his crusade to return Nocturnus to it's rightful rulers. Falconi leading his troops.
  6. The call had gone out from the Desert King; fighters were requested (more like ordered) to gather at Sultan's Gate for a crusade to rid Nocturnus of the Black Spire. There had been much debate in the Nestlands Clans High Ministry about whether to heed the Desert King's call. Not about opposing the Black Spire, but about joining the Desert King's forces beforehand. Ultimately it was decided that a small, token force would keep the Desert King's ire away from the Nestlands. The warrior group calling themselves A Flight Of Ravens volunteered for this duty. Beyond this, the priests of the Armored Eagle Goddess have decided that it would be an appropriate time preserve copies of the holy texts, pressed onto copper sheets, in a far off place. Somewhere upon the Great Escarpment would do nicely. The path to Sultan's Gate has the Nestlands Clans contingent passing through a barely dry wash near one of the latter battle sites of the Kaliphlin Civil War. Namses Setesh offered to guide Priest Ydreesur Albon to a shallow cavern where the holy text could be secured. Ydreesur had concerns about the layout of the cavern. Namses assured him that there was a moderate wall with a flat, north-facing side where the fiery portal could be represented. When all the texts were properly arranged, and portal represented, the cavern would be sealed by Namses with his recently acquired power. Raun McUrsgur has the dubious honor of driving the cart with its holy cargo. He is worried that this hump may just be too big to go over. Olik Funrirr is just vibrating with the thought of using his mage talents on some Drow flesh. Sorcha Dyrfyr is mildly irritated at Olik's bouncy demeanor. Fergus Kenzit has been singing songs of bed conquests, and his sister Nessi is about ready to knock him senseless. The cargo for this journey. The gold chest is the agreed upon taxes that the Nestlands Clans owed to the Desert King. Since the tax collector never showed up, it was decided that the taxes delivered this way would be advantageous. Particularly when the High Ministry wanted the Desert King to be mindful in protecting the southern Rakath from invasion. The large crate holds the painstakingly crafted copper sheets of holy text. The right barrel contains the orange paint for representing the fiery portal. The left barrel contains the oh so precious fresh water. The brown chest has a bunch of dried meat sticks, mostly mountain cat, and enough wax to fill the ears of the whole party. The wax was included because there was rumor that the Desert King was to make some "prophetic announcement", so the priests were kind enough to provide this protection from the usurper's demagoguery. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's some more overall and detail thumbnails (including empty shots). 7. Weird things are happening throughout Historica. Among these are that creatures which normally avoid the heat of Kaliphlin have been sighted in the desert sands. This worm actually looks like a being of the Frozen Beyond, north of Mitgardia! There must surely be some strange and ancient magic at work to make this happen... Run for your life!! The cold mouth of the beast. The entire build. I'd also like to claim a UoP credit for brick-built animal #1 [Agriculture and Zoology].
  8. A small castle in the lush Arkbri valley of Kaliphlin is attacked by the Algus. They have easily breached the gates using their formidable ice magic, and even frozen the ground and vegetation close to the gate despite the tropical heat of Kaliphlin. This is my category A entry to The Frozen Beyond contest. I also would like to claim the UoP credit for Siege [Military Science]. Resistance is futile... ...so some try an alternative to fighting. Most soldiers have already fallen. More pictures:
  9. In the GOH timeline, these events happened mere hours after the events in Nestlands Clans Embassy in Nocturnus: Lord Vladivus' Visit, part 1. -------------------------------------------------- Ambassador Bloodmane: It took quite some work to clear the blood fountain of what the Drow had done to it. I'm told it is one of Danag's original fountains. Lord Vladivus: Is that what I think it is? Ambassador Bloodmane: Aye, but I must caution you with its use. Once summoned it will only do your bidding once, and then it will escape back to its own realm. This war of yours will be a hard one, and you will incur some losses. You should keep this in reserve until your need is greatest. Lord Vladivus: I will keep that in mind. This has been a pleasant and fruitful trip, but Shadowmere and the war beckon. Ambassador Bloodmane: Well then, I'll have my people carry these to your zombies. Lord Vladivus: Kasalia, I will be leaving now. Librarian Kasalia mutters an unintelligible reply without even looking up from the scroll she is examining. Lord Vladivus shrugs. Lord Vladivus: Take care of her. Ambassador Bloodmane: She'll be safe here. ----------------------------------------------------------- Upstairs in the study area before the Nestlands Embassy Grand Library: Twali: Mistress, do we stay? Librarian Kasalia: We stay. You guard. She gives a sidelong glance at the Avalonian mage to her left, sniffing the air to get a sense of his power. Nolan Baar, a minor mage from central Avalonia, is here to study the raising of phantasms and specters. His aim is to use these to patrol the remaining Drow tunnels in Avalonia. Nolan Baar: Such bounty in this place. Food and knowledge. Nolan needs to be a bit more careful, as his sword is about to knock over the game board. It is an odd conquest game that Nolan hopes the Ambassador will teach him. Kasalia has pulled Nolan's trencher over to hold the scroll she is reading. The scroll details the construction of the first temple to the Armored Eagle Goddess, built by the Sky Elves. ------------------------------------------------------------- Above the study area are the symbols of Ambassador Bloodmane's faith, a statue of the humanoid version of the Armored Eagle Goddess and a representation of the Staff of Winged Grace. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Here's a shot of the build sans character figs and loose items. More detail shots can be found in this Flickr album. ---------------------------------------------------- CCC
  10. Chapter 1-Going Underground There was a distinct musty odor to the room. That in itself was odd. Here in Kaliphlin, moisture is rare so a musty smell is not common. However, this far below the city Ras-El-Akhen which was located on the Akhenaten Delta and thus on the coast of The Great Southern Ocean, there was a definite mustiness to the air. Kha removed his breastplate and placed on the stand just beneath his helm. For a moment he just stared and admired the workings of the Kaliphlin Lion standard and the Red and Blue accents that denoted his loyalty to this great kingdom. With a great exhale, he turned around and readied himself to leave. “Sir, are you sure this is such a good idea?” asked Henrik. Henrik was Kha’s oldest advisor here in the city of Ras-El-Akhen. For the duration of Kha’s rule, Henrik had been there attending to even the most minute details that he felt would help Kha be a great leader for his city. “No….I am not sure this is a good idea. But, now that we have started the Resistance and with the uprising that Malek has caused, I am out of options.” “Yes sir, turning Malek from the Desert King has certainly changed the landscape throughout Kaliphlin. However, I am not sure that this undertaking of yours is absolutely necessary. I am certain that you are the leader your people need here when all of this comes to a head.” Henrik countered. “Henry, you know that the Desert King has put a mark on my head. And even though most of the citizens here are loyal to me and to Kaliphlin, there are movements in the shadows even here. I have seen them, and I have been lucky so far. With what the Desert King is unleashing now, I fear that I must take drastic measures to ensure the future of a free Kaliphlin. “We cannot stand against the might he has gathered, and the unnatural powers he has at hand. Masa and I have uncovered something that may change the tide of this war for good. An ancient knowledge, or power actually that can help us remove the tyrant from his seat of power.” Kha continued. “So, I must go not only for my safety, but for the future of our land.” “My Lord Kha, I understand, but must you go looking such a vagabond?”, despite his proper upbringing and positive outlook, Henrik wasn’t able to make that sound complementing. With a laugh, Kha responded, “This is the only way I can get out of the city without being recognized! And I am in for a rough and dusty road ahead.”, he paused and took on a serious look. “Henrik, I need you to keep an eye on things here in Ras-El-Akhen as I’m gone. No matter who takes over the palace and the city, you must not let on your loyalty. Be the most loyal servant to them you can be. I need an insider when I return. And when I return, it will be in force and the Desert King will tremble.” As Kha wove his way through the streets of the city, he paused to take in the sights, smells and sounds of the land he loved. Through it all though, he could sense an air of fear and tension that seemed to crackle just below the surface. It was the fear of a free people that knew liberty was at risk. As he passed through the great Akhenaten gate, Kha paused and turned one last time to look on his city. He silently vowed that no matter what it took, he would see the council restored in Kaliphlin and the sovereign states returned to prominence. And at the last, he had to chuckle as he saw a member of the A’shan Daes standing vigilant atop the gate. With a quick tribute, the A’shan raised her spear and departed. Now, it was up to Kha. He and Masa had uncovered some ancient tomes that referred to an ancient. Referred to only as the Elemendi, but with such a combination of fear and reverence as to imply great power… Just a couple more shots of the gate... So....The Resistance is taking shape now. To the Ax with the Tax was just the beginning. I have quite a bit planned here, and some interesting new elements to bring to Historica as the plot thickens in Kaliphlin's turmoil as well as the impending Nocturnus civil war. Hope you enjoyed it, and stay tuned as I will try to continue this story in a grand fashion.
  11. Not long after Zeno had begun his Grand Tour to discover and describe all remains of the civilisation of the ancient Ulandians he stumbled upon his first find. Not far from home, directly next to a small path in the woods stood one lonely column. It seemed to mock the flow of time with its refusal to succumb to the forces of nature like the rest of the structure it once undoubtetly belonged to and from which no trace was to be seen. Zeno took off his backpack and placed it carefully against a rock. Then he searched for a piece of parchment, his quill and some ink. Successfully having found all things necessary he could start to document the site and all visible structures. Upon further inspection the lonely column was actually not as lonely as presumed. In short distance behind it there was a second column, albeit in much worse condition. Only a short stump was still in place. Single column drums lay, nearly complety hidden by foliage, in a straight line next to it. Without any doubt these once formed a column similar to the other. What they once supported Zeno couldn't determine because even carefully searching the vicinity he didn't find any traces of bigger structures. He only found some small fragments of a pavement made of large marble slabs around to two columns. From what he had learnt about architecture these scarce finds were not enough to draw a conclusion about the building which they once belonged to. But the precious material of the pavement and likewise the columns - marble - spoke of a more exquisite context. Maybe a villa of some noble family or even a small temple. Zeno carefully put his documentation is his backpack, gathered all his belongings and left to continue his adventure, now, after this first great find, even more motivated. I'd like to get UoP credit for - trees (1/3) - flowers and dense foliage landscaping Also I apologize for the bad image quality. This beeing my first MoC I didn't have a proper backdrop for photographing available and therefore had to make use of Photoshop to get a white background.
  12. A lone Algus sets his foot upon Kaliphlin sand... and the transformation has begun. Before long, it's a full-fledged attack! The nearest garrison rushes to protect... but will they be in time? Even the Algus have a sweet tooth, though! Well, I finally got a chance to try out the crack sand technique - figured it would be necessary to keep it from having a beach look. In retrospect I don't think that color blue was quite right for under the ice and it would have been nice to make the fortress a bit less rectangular (but since it was already late afternoon by the time I got to that point I knew I had better not try anything fancy!). Building the Algus figs was fun however! Thanks for looking!
  13. This build is for HSS Hospitality - Lodging - Inn. ---------- At the Blue Dolphin Inn of Ruadh, the mood is dark. The oppression of the Desert King is all anyone talks about. Downstairs, the proprietress constantly monitors for DK spies while guests enjoy the firepit and the bathing rooms. Upstairs, two prostitutes gossip outside the private rooms while waiting for evening clients. In the cheaper shared room, two Kaliphlinites relate their run-ins with the DK. The bathing room might be a place to cleanse and relax, but it is also a place to plot resistance. ---------- A recent trip to Japan inspired a lot of this build, including many of the interior details, like the futon beds, cushions, fireplace, and bathing rooms. The exterior loosely references Kinkaku-ji (the Golden Pavilion). The round tile wall technique is inspired by NiceMarmot, and JacobNion was an influence for the rough walls. I'd like to claim UoP credit for: Architecture: Wall Techniques (for the round tile walls) General Building: Interior Design Anthropology: Village Life

    Ageven's Manor

Welcome to Ageven's summer residence down in Auner! But it's much more than just an exterior... there's a fully furnished set of rooms inside once you fold it out! No manor would be complete without a kitchen! Above the kitchen is a bedroom. Credit goes to SK and LJ for the bed, I took their use of headlight bricks for a spin. Really like how it ended up; I've been trying for a quite a while now to get a good bed design! On the opposite side of the foldout (this picture is taken from the bay window): One of the two rooms with a door (besides the attic) is Ageven's bedroom. This room is located on the bottom floor, right inside the bay window. The other room with a door is very inaccesible for a camera, so I didn't manage to get good pictures of it, which is a shame. It has the same kind of rafters as the chandelier room and a dismantled bed and a large dresser/shelf contraption. Moving upwards, the roof: My last build for the year, I assure you. Somehow it didn't quite turn out as I had anticipated, I think because of the flat roof. I was planning on more of a traditional tudor vibe with a bit of an almost modern touch thrown in with the stair stepped windows (which, by the way, I was super happy with! - even though I did keep running out of tan 1x1s), but instead it got a dash of an eastern feel. Oh well. On the whole this was a rather exhausting build. In some ways I almost like it better than my cathedral, but on the other hand... C&C welcome! Thanks for looking, I hope you enjoyed it!
  15. Previously - Part 1 - Plots and Preparations "What a day! What miserable cold!" Malek complained. "Sir, it is 80 degrees." "Eighty! Such a chill!" The coachman shrugged. Mummies! His passenger presently resumed the conversation. "Are we almost there yet?" "There's our destination - right over that dune." "That place? I took it for a chicken coop!" The tax collector looked out of the gilt coach window, disgusted. "Guess there won't be too many taxes to collect here... but you bet I'll get a hold of whatever there is to be had." To be continued... A few more pictures of the build: The back of the carriage: Carriages are always fun and though at times this one was a bit of a pain on the whole it was an enjoyable building experience! Pretty happy with how it turned out too, though like all my other carriages, it was too big for the base! Thanks for looking! Comments are always appreciated!
  16. The Algus had setup a minor fortification on a small hill in the middle of the Kaliphlin Desert. The location has some strategic importance, however was deserted many years ago due to the lack of water supply. However this did not seem to affect the Algus at all, as they held their watch in the desert and awaited further orders. Prior to their arrival, though, the rare nomad travelling the desert could only see ruins on the hill, and occasionaly a scorpion or two: Some day a lonely wanderer, clad in a dark red robe and with a golden staff, approached the ruin. The Algus were in wonder about the fearless wizard, and even more so once he conjured his magical barrier. Little did they know! Neither had they realized the other two warriors approaching (both the Leander warrior in gold and the red-clad assassin), nor did they have a clue what was going on behind their back. Lulu the unicorn sorceress had come and already started melting the ice, bringing love, life, flowers and butterflies to the desert once more, and fighting the Algus her very own way. But Lulu's mission was more than just freeing the world of the Algus. She made the world a better place to live in. Together with her loyal warriors she cleaned the ruins of all remainders of the Algus. They chopped the magical ice the Algus had created into big blocks and stored them inside the ruins. Yes, the heat of the desert made the magical ice of the Algus melt, but it would take many, many years for those big blocks to fully melt. Until then, they would provide the ruins with enough water for plants and life to flourish, at least inside the ruins. Some weeks later, with a little initial help of Lulu's magic, that made plants grow so fast that the eye could watch, the once dry ruins had turned into a weird oasis, bringing some almost tropical flair into the midst of the deserts - and would do so for many years to come. Lulu had achieved a victory. But she knew her journey was not over, yet. ------------------------------- I hope you like this MOC. I had started the build (and photographed the ice-less version) before christmas. The ice-version is also some days old. Today I finished the oasis-version. Though I am not 100% happy with the way the plants and especially the pics turned out (I love the front view, but the rear views are not that great imho), but BoBs has captured most of my attention for now, so I will leave it as is.
  17. "Don't look for your enemies' weaknesses. Take their strengths and use them for your own benefit." The words of her mentor echoed through Lulus ears as she strode through the icy desert, towards the leader of the group of Algus her valiant fighters were about to clash with. Snow and ice were actually great in the desert, if used correctly. Transforming them back to water, the foundation of life which the desert lacks - that was all Lulu did. And, of course, leave a trail of plants and flowers behind, immediately using the freshly generated water and making the desert a livelier place than it had ever been. Lulu, the unicorn mage, strode forwards. The Algus were strong, but her magic of love, warmth and life was superior. She had always understood that real magic was far more than fancy fireballs. Now she could use that knowledge to fight one of the greatest threats the Guilds had ever faced. And she started freeing the world of ice.
  18. Previously: Part 3 Turning The Mark Now that they believed they had conclusive proof of Malek's treason, the Desert King authorized his execution. Since Malek was still abroad in Kaliphlin, an assassin was hired to finish him as quickly and quietly as possible. The assassin found Malek collecting taxes from vendors in a market, and positioned himself on the roof of a nearby house, tying up the lady who was sitting there. Gideon was walking along the bustling Market street, when he noticed a crossbow pointing out from behind one of the poles that held the flags. It was pointing right at the official just in front of him. With lightning reflexes, he dove at the official, knocking him to the side and out of danger for the moment. The ruckus drew Erudhalion's attention, and he quickly spotted the assassin. It appeared he wasn't the only one, as a formidable lady was already at the top of the stairs, and had her sword half-drawn. Realizing he had been spotted, the assassin turned and drew his sword, ready to fight. By now, the Captain of the guard had also spotted him, and was about to strike him down, but was too slow, as the woman had already disarmed the man. The guards quickly came, tied him up, and escorted him to the city jail. The official thanked Gideon, the Lady, and Erudhalion profusely for saving his life. The lady then offered to accompany him to a safe location in case any more attempts were made on his life. To be continued... Some more pics of the build: Lots more pictures can be seen here: Link C&C appreciated
  19. With bands of Algus roaming Kaliphlin, there have been an increasing number of reports of strange weather. From some of the caravan routes, reports have even spoken of fairly deep snow! Many animals are perishing due to the hard conditions, so the Kaliphlin vultures are thriving. I would like to claim the following UoP credits for this build: Brickbuilt animal #2 [Agriculture and Zoology] Brickbuilt animal #3 [Agriculture and Zoology] To be continued... ...with the burning of the tar pits to repel the Algus. Unedited image, if needed for the judging:
  20. Since oil has proven to be an effective weapon against the Algus, the Council of Barqa has decided to set fire to a number of tar pits despite the economic implications. The black oily smoke has proven to be effective in deterring the Algus and reverse the effects of their weather manipulation, of which one effects are that it has been snowing in Kaliphlin. Together with the other measures used throughout Historica to fight the Algus, the hopes and prayers of the people of Kaliphlin is that these frosty invaders will retreat to their frozen hell in the north once again. I would like to claim the following UoP credit for this build: Forced perspective [General Building (Other Techniques)] Photo spoilers: The lighting of the fires was accomplished by using a blacklight and a long exposure time, as you can see in the photo below. Since using only the blacklight makes all the other colors strange, I also mixed it with a bit of flash illuminating the other parts. The hard part was to find a suitable mix between enough blacklight to light the fires and enough flash to not make all the other bricks too purple or blue.

    Auner Chapel

After months of construction, Auner's chapel is finally done. The chapel has a fully functional interior: One last overview: And, finally, I'm done! This build took a good deal longer than anticipated, but I'm happy with the end result. Not quite the largest build in terms of footprint that I've ever done, but almost certainly the largest in sheer bulk. Thanks for looking! C&C welcome, hope you enjoyed it!
  22. Previously: Part 5 - The Last Place You'd Look "Malek, you traitorous viper! Siding with the resistance! I thought you had more loyalty the rightful ruler of Kaliphlin than this." "On the contrary, my loyalty is to the rightful rulers of Kaliphlin!" "Malek, what is going on here? Who is this?" "I'm a former friend and colleague of Malek here, but He has changed that. There seems to be nothing left to say, I'm afraid I have no choice but to carry out my duty to the King." He then charged at Malek, sword drawn, but the peasants, quickly countered his attack and disarmed the mummy officer. Some more shots of the build: More pictures here: Link C&C much appreciated, thanks for looking
  23. Previously: Part 6 - New Loyalties As Malek walks along the Kaliphlin coast, he looks around. It's been a while -- since before the war -- since he's been truly alone, without soldiers, without refugees, without the ugliness of war and its aftermath. Feeling the glorious Kaliphlin sun beating down on him, he takes another quick look around, then strips down to his bandages to enjoy the warmth on his ancient desiccated bones. Pulling a bottle of pine resin the Murphys had thoughtfully packed in his bag, he takes a swig, savoring the preservative soaking him from the inside. Malek couldn't stop thinking about his last encounter with his old Desert King friend. Malek had always considered himself a good and loyal servant of the Desert King, but somehow, he had found himself attacked by his own people, and defended by those he once considered enemies. The Kaliphlin people, High Council loyalists, had repeatedly shown more compassion and integrity than the Desert King. While it shocked Malek that, in the heat of the moment, he had actually uttered the words, "My loyalty is to the rightful rulers of Kaliphlin!", it somehow felt like the right thing to do. He had a lot of thinking to do, Malek thought, warm and drowsy in the warm heat of the sun. --------------- Notes: This build was inspired by the coastal dunes of South Texas, like those near Corpus Christi and Padre Island. The base consists of old Belville light yellow pieces. The tan and "medium tan" grasses are from Altbricks. I'd like to claim UoP credit for: Anthropology: Countryside Scene Landscape Design: Sand Dunes As always, comments and constructive criticism are very welcome!
  24. Previously: Part 4 - A Dangerous Twist When The Lady brought Malek to the Murphy house, the mummy eyed the mercenary couple dubiously. With their rough leather clothing and shaved heads, the Murphys looked rather disreputable. Hell, Mrs. Murphy even had an eye-patch! "Don't worry, Malek, they're smarter and nicer than they look, but just as tough. The Murphys will keep you safe. They're some of Kaliphlin's finest." ----- "What's the meaning of this? How dare you break into my home with swords drawn?" Murphy shouted. "Where's the traitor?!? We know he's hiding here!" The Desert King guard responded. "What traitor? Hiding where? Are you kidding me? Do you see this place? Where do you think we could possibly be hiding anyone?" The mummy guards harrumph, clearly disconcerted. "We had good intelligence he was here. Well . . . " They quietly left. A few minutes later . . . "The coast is clear, Malek! Let me give you a hand." Malek shivered. "That was the worst, coldest, dampest place I can remember! And this is a DRY well!" "Yeah, sorry 'bout that," said Murphy. "But no one would look for a mummy in the old well! C'mon, the wife has a bottle of pine resin the warm you up." "Oh! How thoughful! Y'all have been so kind to me!" ------ I'd like to claim UoP credit for Architecture: Wall Techniques: 1x1 Round Plate Walls. Comments and constructive criticism are always welcome!
  25. "These are my tenants, and it's my job to protect them! I simply am not going to let any official come and..." "Yes, yes, we understand that. But you can't just..." "Why not? Aren't we strong enough - " "Excuse me, Ageven," Kha interjected, "but these Ruadh twisted pastries are just so delicious - Siedna, may I?" "Help yourself, Kha - they're there to be eaten!" "Thank you! ...go ahead, Ageven." "What was I saying? Oh yes - can't we take whatever they throw at us? What sort of knights are we, frightened off by a few dry bones?!" Ageven glared around. Aymeri glanced at his companions and shook his head doubtingly. "You know I'm as tired of the Desert King as you are, but let's be realistic here! He beat us the first time!" "Look," Masa interjected, "We just plain can't use brute force. You know that as well as the rest of us, Ageven." "So? Do we just sit back and whine?" Ageven snapped. Not being able to use force to cut the knots quickly always shortened his temper. "No." Masa lowered his voice to a mysterious whisper. "There are other ways." "Other ways?" The conspirators gathered round and put their heads together. To be continued... An overview of the build. Inspiration for the windows came from MKJ's recent BoBS build!
