  1. Congrats on 5K @Former Itaria No Shintaku!!!! Looking forward to seeing this reach 10K in the next month (It will!) !
  2. Very nice! That's a lot of stations. I particularly like Festival Gardens with its trains logo in the glass!
  3. Hadn't picked up on that. The Discworld might be of interest to me if these are the 3 approved sets.... otherwise they aren't.
  4. Can definitely agree on this one. 10277 is nearly always on backorder or out of stock, at least in the UK, and is also imho one of the best sets for display produced in all of 2020. Hopefully the popularity of trains will shine through finally.
  5. Was thinking that myself. But as the Brickset article says, it's still not obvious why the set was released now....
  6. You build bags 1-7 and then 8 and 9 for one or 8 and 10 for the other. So you'll have a bag's worth of spares left over.
  7. Really liking the Amelia Earhart set. Will be picking it up when I finally buy the roller coaster!
  8. Very nice! I actually prefer this to the 2 in the set and might consider buying it now to make this...
  9. Niiiiccccceeeee. Two extremely nice sets, both of which I have. The heli in particular is very nice as it’s clearly a heli whilst still being made out of more standard pieces than the incredibly specific pieces today. It hangs well too. It’s also the advertised set for ‘a man has fallen into the river in LEGO City!’ Have you got the police station with the minifigure whose torch lights up or the version without?
  10. Awesome! Actually just picked up Brothers in Arms on vinyl about a week ago. The Peter Gabriel one is particularly impressive.
  11. Very nice car! Would love to see this with the modulars, as it looks like it would fit there perfectly....
  12. I'm actually pretty pleased about this, as I have no interest whatsoever in American sports like American football and baseball, and there was a chance it would be one of those if it was going to be a US stadium. I'd like Wimbledon Centre Court or Roland Garros Court Philippe Chatrier, as Tennis is basically the only sport I really have any interest in.
  13. The flaw with the Beatles and Marilyn Monroe is that they work as a set - the others can be more of a standalone type.... As a result they probably sell better that way. All the bad reviews of the Beatle set in particular that I've seen are people who have expected enough to build 4 because they didn't read the description at all.
  14. I can't wait to see a side by side comparison of this and other models - the smoothness of the overall model makes size quite hard to work out just from the images. I'm very behind on these, only having the two VWs and the Mini, but intend to catch up this year....
  15. Great idea - I would love to see this!!!!! But there's 15th anniversary next year to come first........could it take that position.
  16. This is my 500th post! Very nice modification - one I may consider doing to mine..... 40448 is still one of my favourite GWPs even without any changes.
  17. Interesting. Shame it's only in the US though but as many of the European flagship stores, such as my local one in Leicester Square, London are closed at the moment, I hope they will add it to the European sites soon....
  18. Very nice to see pictures of the actual lighthouse more close up, and I can see now just how well done it is. This is a true masterpiece!
  19. Definitely will intend to get this one when it appears - it sounds brilliant!
  20. Very nice! I wonder if LEGO themselves will ever come out with something of this kind.....
  21. This looks amazing!!!!! LEGO hasn't produced a farm since 2009 - another is overdue.
  22. I love this! As an Englishman myself, I know these sorts of buildings exactly, and this is a very accurate representation. Another awesome MOC!
  23. Love it! That curved entry is particularly nice in my opinion.
