  1. Amazing! It's the sort of thing Nathan Sawaya builds.... You deserve a front-page post.
  2. I’m very impressed with this indeed!! I’ll definitely be picking it up when I have the money.... I’ll edit the topic name now.
  3. Brilliant, unique, amusing build. Love it!
  4. Guessing you mean @Tube Map Central‘s topic from last month, which is I think on page 5 right now of the Train Tech....
  5. Interesting change to Discovery though honestly can't say I'm surprised by the change if it is one. I'll change the title if needed tomorrow when it's revealed........
  6. Amazing! The troll's hair, the bridge's uneven SNOT techniques, the shallow rocky bank descending to a chilly-looking stream.... It's very impressive in every way you look at it! And like @1963maniac said, you may have gotten sick of it but we all think it's fantastic!!!!!!! It's the sort of MOC I expect to appear on the front page. Best, Vilhelm22
  7. Very nice! I wasn’t aware of Juhi Chawla because my experience of Indian tv is approximately nil, but looking her up I can see this is a very accurate representation. Good work!
  8. Ah that’s good to know. Thanks for the intel @Itaria No Shintaku and good luck reaching 10k on its return!
  9. Don’t worry - you haven’t! We know it’s 10283 Space Shuttle Columbia, US$199.99.......and that’s it! I’ve just updated the topic thread title from ‘space set’ to ‘Space Shuttle Columbia’ as we know it is...
  10. LEGO has been a lot better at clamping down on leaks, particularly on major Expert sets, in the past couple of years. If we don’t see anything in the next ten days I’ll be surprised, but in the next two or three I would be.
  11. Interesting thread and discussion! In my opinion, one quick build skyscraper will not look brilliant in a basic city, but it's very possible to build several giants and they look good next to each other. Daryl Bevins AKA Bevins Bricks on YouTube is an example of this, with many big builds that all look good together due to his generally large scale builds. His most recent city update is here:
  12. Very nice - and I definitely agree that the set is too big a scale to fit properly. Nice work @bricksboy - this fits right in!
  13. Great MOC! It really shows the off the 'two worlds' idea, with the front facade that tells nothing and the obvious story happening behind. Excellent MOC @kris kelvin!
  14. Fantastic! Two months well spent in my humble opinion! I particularly like the two domes to either side of the foremost dome (if that makes sense?)! If religious structures were allowed in the Creator Expert Buildings line, St. Basil's would be possibly number one for me on my wanted list....
  15. That’s an extremely nice, impressive, huge MOC! These are the sorts of builds which make me realise I don’t visit the Scale Modelling Forum enough.....
  16. Very nice! Your G Scale MOCs over the years have been repeatedly very impressive, and this, even as your first one, is a work of art. I love the stuff people are able to achieve at this scale, and this is no exception. Congrats on another great MOC! Vilhelm22
  17. The F40 is a little boxy for my liking, but the Chiron looks amazing - excellent job! I'd put the Mercedes somewhere between the two. Nice work! Also this is my 600th post on the forum!
  18. First of all welcome to the forum @Khanid! I think that any model of the twin towers will never happen, but a One World Trade Center model is possible - a tiny one was included in the NYC skyline set after all. There have also been continuous plans for a new Two World Trade Center (there currently isn't anything really at that address in NYC) - possibly TLG is waiting for that and then will sell the two towers as one set.....
  19. Been a bit quiet here but I want to think about something. Sites are still saying US$199.99 and April release. IDEAS Winnie the Pooh (also 18+ so of similar importance) was first officially teased by LEGO on 3rd March and announced on the 4th, with a VIP release date of the 18th. That's exactly a fortnight before. If Columbia is an April 1st release (normally 'April 2021' means April 1st even if not actually confirmed) with no VIP early access, then it is a fortnight until its release this Thursday. Can we expect an announcement around this point? Secondly, are we 100% sure it's Columbia? I'm really asking because I, as the original creator of this thread, am the only one who can change the title, which is still just '10283 Space Set', and I don't want to change it to something it's not.
  20. Thanks @michaelgale! I can quite imagine that the points are incredibly complex and take a long time to develop. Good to know that there are some plans for the slightly more distant future though!
  21. Very nice narrow gauge steam loco! The general shape reminds me of the small locomotives on the narrow gauge railway in the original Thomas the Tank Engine Railway Series books by Rev. W. Audrey (as opposed to either tv series). The video of both trains running together is an added bonus!
  22. Amazing hopper wagon! Your skills in LDD has definitely produced some amazing MOCs, of which these are three. Is the hopper wagon functional?
  23. I agree with @Murdoch17! As I live very close to London and know the deep tube lines well, the tightness inside the tunnels is very suitable! To me the trains of the London Underground look the best out of all subway trains, but that's my opinion as a Londoner.....
  24. Huw at Brickset has also now posted his review of both products on the site. Reading the comments, there’s clearly a lot of support from people not on EB over there, and that should increase sales and therefore certainty of future products. I just missed 9v unfortunately, so have RC, but using over 50 AAA batteries is not sustainable, efficient, or ecological. One day when there’s more of FX’s products available I’ll almost certainly invest in some.... Also @michaelgale, will you be producing any other switches in the future other than the P40?
