    Fantastic MOCS! Your rebuilds are excellent and recognisable! If I had a vast quantity of money I’d buy the set 3 more times to get each of your 3 MOCs!

    Ah. A nice 12v style signal. I was born long after the 12v era, but I’ve been on here a few years now and certainly get the impression that it was a golden age.

    Just saw a leak on insta from Promobricks. €140 1458 pieces Opening doors, bonnet and boot as usual. And most importantly, you can apparently build the Turbo or Targa versions from the set, which is a nice bonus. It also says ‘Vehicle Collection’, which I like, though I can’t spot it on the box myself, though it is a poor image.

    Thing is we've already had the Ferrari and the London bus in red, plus the VW campervan at the start. It makes another red car extremely unlikely.

    If you take the YouTuber Bricksie, for example, I'm pretty sure he goes around the same store twice, and his wife does it at least once. There are many ways to do it. Others include going to the same store on different days. There are too many people going in out of the stores for them to remember if they've been once or not I guess. Usually there are big queues and they want to get people through as fast as possible.

    Honestly not sure if this is a stupid question or not. The Porsche 911 has just been leaked, in white, as 10295 - does this mean that we can expect a set where the main colour is not white?

    Good point. It's not a car, but the Crocodile Locomotive also does not have a 'train collection' or similar label. Not sure why.

    Very nice part usage and excellent achievement of the curvature of the wall. The flowers to the side are a nice addition.

    That’s definitely the place to put it if you’ve been collecting long enough (I haven’t!). I’m gonna put it next to 80107 for the same reasons and hope it doesn’t look too bad....

    Nice! I've ordered 80107, and probably going to pass on this one tbh, but the design is still extremely nice and it seems that it keeps up to the expected high standards of these sets. Honestly I still don't understand why there's such a focus on these sets over other festivals - there are more big sets for Lunar New Year than Christmas (though I know they can't call it that for religious reasons).

    I've said it before and I'll say it again - awesome MOC! Has anybody got a picture of it next to 10278 yet? @koalayummies your scattering of donuts all over the police car at his arrest is brilliant! Great idea for display of @Leewan's MOC!

    On the topic off this year's set, if there is one, I'd love an Enterprise type. And they're clearly trying to stay away from basic spinning types but the last two haven't been, and I missed the mixer.....

    Only just noticed the 'Modular Buildings Collection' label on the box has the most recent 5 on it. Do you think this will change and one will get knocked off every year? And if so will it be the one which came out first or the one which was discontinued first (in this case AS or DD)? Also, unless AS stays or another 48 wide modular comes out, this is going to look less good in the future as it looks good in my opinion with the 5 1/2 modulars width, and 6 would look better than 5 baseplates width above the text imo....

    Nice. I'm actually across the pond from you, so things may be different, but it's still reassuring, particularly seeing as I just spent my funds, and won't have enough again until April probably...

    Very nice! Chamber of Secrets is actually my favourite film as it’s the most accurate to the book. It’s Myrtle‘s main appearance, as well, making it a fantastic film.

    Very nice! Gotta say I agree with @Shiva though, a grave at the end would look good. Also the baby in a cradle at the start.

    Thanks for the review! Actually my first promo I’ll be keeping as normally they end up a sticking present for my much younger brother at Christmas, or I order elsewhere as it’s cheaper. Hopefully I’ll get one, though the Crocodile Locomotive I’ve ordered is on backorder (will ship by 19th January). The promo ends on 17th Jan, so.....

    Woah thanks for that @ScotNick! It's clear from Flickr that @michaelgale has been working incredibly hard and produced some amazing, pretty high quality looking stuff... Looking forward to the near future.... By the way have we any idea of the straight track pricing? And also will there be a European store (quite often there's not and the transatlantic shipping prices are extortionate, plus tax into the UK means I can end up spending far more than is intended.....

    Very nice! It brings back memories of my chemistry exams aged 16.... I also remember being so disappointed when Yvonne's project did not get through, and that none of her other amazing projects even reached 10k! But like many, you have brought her project to life brilliantly - I think that there were many disappointments when that was not approved. Congratulations on a great MOC!
