  1. Well I just finished my copy of 80107 and gotta say that I’m even more impressed than before. The parts usage is incredible, and the PPP as well. Hoping we’ll get a similar one for next year, when it’s the tiger....
  2. Indeed. I actually live pretty close to his old house and pass it frequently, so it means even more for me.
  3. Awesome! Definitely one of the best I've seen, and great parts usage! Good luck!
  4. Lovely miniature build there! You now just have to fit him in some random scenes!
  5. Really nice idea and spooky feel - definitely gives me the creeps as intended! Good luck in the contest!
  6. Thank you so much @Itaria No Shintaku!!!! I'm looking forward to these stunt sets far more now, and the wildlife sets are ever increasingly anticipated as more info is announced. Thanks again for your info!!!!
  7. @Ecclesiastes has posted his review of the set. https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/183247-review-10295-porsche-911-turbotarga/
  8. Definitely intend to pick this up eventually, but I'm 4 vehicles behind at least.... Great review @Ecclesiastes. !
  9. Well my copy of 80107 finally arrived today. Looking forward to building it later today.... I have to admit there's something satisfying about seeing sets which say 'temporarily out of stock' on S@H and knowing that you don't need to worry about this.....
  10. Here: https://jedijacpenguin.com/everythingweknowaboutLEGO2021.htm
  11. Ah interesting - just checked it out.... The prize of your model as a GWP is too late for it to be a GWP for this set - the contest that the Vintage Car came from was in late 2019, so it was just over a year between competition and release....

    MOC: Riad

Amazing! It was even better because I misread the title as 'Raid' so expected something completely different...
  13. Yes they are perfectly compatible. The easiest way to get an entire loop is 3 x 60205 (£15.99). I may be wrong but I think I read somewhere that there’s not enough space for the track as the set is - you’ll have to raise the bridge a couple of plates to allow it through under the bridge. Good luck and happy building! Vilhelm22
  14. Niiiiiiicccccccceeeeeee!!!! that's a great lot of mini modulars there with brilliant attention to detail. I particularly like CG!
  15. Very nice! Was just rereading this thread yesterday thinking nobody had posted on it for a while.... I don't have the money currently for a CRS, though due to monorail prices I will eventually get one I think. Airport Shuttle looks good like this - though that motor you've chosen to use is pretty rare (it starts on BL at around £20...)
  16. Ah. It’s the 3H ones I’ve got....
  17. Very nice unique build! I’m quite surprised there haven’t been more competition entries posted here....
  18. Awesome to finally see it in real bricks @shellshock! Can we see any pics of it with the other mini modulars?
  19. Nice! Guessing you found that the yellow doors in the first pic were hard to come by! (I've got 4 from my dad's collection of LEGO from his childhood (1960s) (which also included blue rails!). The VW logo does exist in the form of a 1x1 round tile (see the more recent VW Beetle) and could easily be added to the front....
  20. I know it's a bit off topic, and I know I've mentioned this before in other threads, but the Expert sets in the 10000 series with numbers announced so far this year are 10278, 80, 81, and 95. If all were to be released this year, that's 18, of which 4 have been announced + 2 rumoured. That's still 12 others - one could easily be a train! I've honestly not had a huge amount of disappointment from this vote because I never expected trains to be in the top 3. It's annoyingly popular but niche at the same time....
  21. Yeah, saw this less than a minute after the review results came out! Very pleased that this was picked and will eventually pick it up when it comes out (it probably won't be released until late 2022.....)
  22. I realise it's not actually mosaic art but The Starry Night has just been approved on IDEAS!
  23. Well that's pretty damning. 35 projects + Sonic - they approved The Starry Night and Sonic only!!!! I will say that I'm pleased about The Starry Night, and it hit 10K insanely fast, and I will probably eventually pick it up when I catch up from how behind I am, but there were some other really good rejected projects. And I'm honestly not particularly interested in Sonic (though I can understand precisely why it got chosen and why it will be popular - congrats @toastergrl!)
