    B/A: Gallux

    - Here's my contribution to Hero Factory Month - Small flocks of Gallus gallus dom. populate the desert flatland regions of the planet Fabulox 18. The evil brains have turned the skittish birds into the deadly Gallux, and raised up a formidable army of deadly opponents. Watch out Heroes! Here's a few more pictures: Lego Action Figures Flickr set I have to admit that I've never ventured into the Action Figures forum before this month and never looked twice at the HF stuff . And this is why themed months are so great - I never realized what great MOCs could be made out of all those clicky/ball-joint/etc. parts. I've been enjoying browsing around the last couple of weeks, and couldn't help but try and build something - so I dusted off what little Bionicle parts I had, and spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to figure out how to build something with them - despite keeping it really simple, it was a huge challenge for me - kudos to you guys who do this regularly. Anyways, this being my first Action Figure Moc - comments/criticism are hugely appreciated - hold nothing back, I can take it.

Before transformation, Bruizer was a harmless rock: After, he was transformed into a formidable rock monster: Click either of the images above to view the Mocpages gallery. Feedback appreciated.

    HoM: Torvax

Once a regular Hero, Torvax has been horribly mutated by a brain parasite. Though his body is fully controlled by the brain parasite, he is still capable of thought, and he watches in horror as his body goes against the very group of heroes he used to belong to. Click the image to view the Mocpages gallery. Feedback appreciated.

I really don't know to say about this. It started off completely different, but this is the end result. I suck at LDD. LXF

    HoM: Valiant Venom

Edit: Scroll down for updates. Here is my entry to the Hero or Monster contest: Here's the brain: I tried to make it look like a golden titan's torso fused with Venom-esque octopus tentacles. I hope you all like it!
  8. So yeah, I decided to throw myself into making a hero model that looked good and detailed, looked exactly like a normal, every day HF hero and could also be built in real life (Aside from recolours.) The result? I present to you... Thrusher, Hero of Heroes! (Or, at least, he thinks so.) Basically, the story is that Mr. Makuro wanted to make a hero similar to Thresher, but way better in every way. He sketched up a few designs, throwing away the ones he didn't feel were right along the way. In the end, there were 3 designs left. He passed the designs over to the Design Experts in Hero Factory, and they got to work on improving the designs further. Even later, they found numerous flaws in the designs of two of the three designs, and then there was one. They fixed every flaw and improved every detail and then one flaw remained, although it was so small and unnoticeable that they chose to ignore it and go on with the construction. The armour had the flaw that it would be slightly weaker than Thresher's armour, but the Assembly Tower's programs hadn't been updated to say the specific type of armour that was to be used was in stock. The machines used default, incredibly weak armour instead and so Thrusher, the new hero, was too vulnerable to be sent into extreme battle situations. Now, Thrusher is only used for patrolling the streets of Makuhero City, looking out for crime so he can report to Mission Control and have heroes sent to deal with the situation. Sometimes, though, he fights and easily defeats criminals with his Top Mark Grade Plasma Rocket Shield and Tornado Staff and that leaves people wondering... is he really not fit to go on a real mission? Oh, and LDD file: thrusher.lxf

    King of the Hill

King of the Hill Knights, Barbarians, Peasants and Wizards clash to become King of the Hill This is an entry into the Flickr group Lego War’s The Castle Battle Contest, Category 3: Single Stud Battle! Category 3: “Single Stud Battle” How many minifigs can you have battling (and balancing) over one stud of space? Based on a similar contest from times past, this category will test your creative balancing skills to the limit! Hahaha! This is definitely the most enjoyable build I’ve had in a while! Although, I must say—I did expect it to be far more challenging then it turned out to be! I utilized shields as a way to balance more and more figures, as well as having various figures just hanging on for dear life! I also greatly focused on the first figure since he would be holding up everything, and I gave him a shield and a flag pole on his back to attach more peoples. The horse was something I thought to put in about halfway through the build, and I was surprised to see I was able to balance him—in fact, the horse is actually the only part of the build not attached stud wise to any other part—so he’s basically a free floating structure. So, in the end, I’m very happy with my entry, and my new found balancing skills! Enjoy ~Nemo

  17. The old city, once the largest in Avalonia, betwixt Glevum and Antyria has long been in ruins, however at Historicas recent campaign against the black mage has allowed Nocturnian undeads and goblins to slip in without notice. they are experts at hiding, hoarding and making raids to the closer villages silently during the night. they are only strong in numbers. but numbers they have. the old city has been struck with an apocalypse. Heres something small I whipped up these past 2 days (while meant to be doing assignments that got belated to the early hours of the morning) my entry to the TFOL forums "Apocastle" contest, enjoy! ~Legonardo
  18. Mark of Falworth

    (LCC)[Moc] Restoring Justice

This is my entry to the 4th Global Challenge of the Lands of Classic Castle Roleplay. Mark of Falworth and his mighty host laid siege to the equally mighty Lenfel fortress that barred the way to Stonewald. After five days of constant artillery bombardment, the walls were breached only slightly. Just enough for two men to pass through at a time. The Loreesi had a severe time pressure, for to delay even for a week would give the armies of Lenfald time to gather in such force that there would be no chance of escape. So, Mark of Falworth hatched a bold plan. As there was no time to build a battering ram or siege tower, Mark equipped his War Elephants with short ladders so that they became living armored siege towers! And dismounting his Heavy Knights and re-mounting them on the elephants placed his finest fighters within easy reach of the fifteen-foot high wall. The infantry charged towards the tiny hole in the wall, which was thickly filled with furious Lenfels. To clear this obstacle they shot Loreesi fire from a portable tube-pump. The surviving Lenfels hastily withdrew into the courtyard. And on top of all this, five Areani Knights suddenly appeared out of nowhere behind the walls and began cutting down the astonished Lenfels still trying to defend the breach. All these factors combined led to the remarkably speedy overthrow of a castle that was once deemed impenetrable. And Mark of Falworth continued on his quest... ...For the Glory of Loreos! Also check it out on Flickr! And be sure to check out the Video! Thanks for viewing and have a great day! :)

    Rocky Mountains

Here is my entry to the Action Themes Building Drive: Wonderful Things. Enjoy! Rocky Mountains It appeared mysteriously centuries ago, discovered by our ancestors when they were hunting for food. No one knew its origins. It was believed that whoever owns it will possess incredible super human abilities. Many were tempted by its power, but many were against it. In the end, our ancestors decided that it was too much power for any human to bear. They casted it down the death ravines of Rocky Mountains, so that no one will ever find or retrieve it. The death ravines of Rocky Mountains, so dangerous and unpredictable. A look at those rock formations will deter even the most ambitious, for it reminds one of certain death. The Golden Statue of Rocky Mountains, a legend that is still being told today. Many believed it is just a story. Many tried to venture into the depths of Rocky Mountains. For all that went, None came back alive. But one.
