Hey Eurobricks! I just uploaded a little Harry Potter short to YouTube that I thought would be nice to share here :) Please enjoy the Shrieking Shack climax In which Harry Ron and Hermione start back to the castle, Crookshanks chases Scabbers, and a big black dog drags Ron into a tunnel under the Whomping Willow. Crookshanks stops the tree from attacking Harry and Hermione, and they follow the cat down the tunnel to emerge in the Shrieking Shack outside Hogsmeade. They find Ron a captive of Black, who disarms them. Harry attacks Black, and with Ron and Hermione overpowers him, but Crookshanks stands between Harry and Black when Harry threatens to kill him. Lupin arrives and admits that he's Black's friend and a werewolf. It is revealed that Scabbers is an Animagus named Peter Pettigrew. Lupin tells the story of his becoming a werewolf and of his school days with James Potter, Sirius Black, and Severus Snape, the last of whom now appears. Snape threatens Lupin and Black with the Dementors, Harry Ron and Hermione disarm Snape, Lupin and Black tell the truth about Harry's parents' deaths, Scabbers reverts back to Peter Pettigrew, the truth comes out about all the players in the drama, revealing that Pettigrew was responsible for the Potters' deaths, and Harry keeps Lupin and Black from killing Pettigrew. --CAST-- Geertos13 as Harry Potter DT98Films as Ronald Weasley Potterminifigfilms as Hermione Granger Druox as Sirius Black Kyle Smiley as Remus Lupin Mustardmanzz as Severus Snape Sean Strawson as Peter Pettigrew

Building a Lego sets using Stop Motion

Recently I had the idea that I can use the camera while building. I decided to make a video with pictures taken during the build. I used the Canon EOS 550D and EOS Utility. First I built 42011. I made about 450 photos. This is the result of this operation: Another set was 42006 Excavator. In this case, I made a 1450 photos. The mistake I made was half the battery. In the film, if you can not see when I take out the battery and Stand the tripod. Photos were taken at night with a fluorescent lamp. A little strange being built with the knowledge that the picture is taken every 5 sec and you have to take your hands :). Significantly increases the time to build if you shoot images. Here is the result: I think to build all the sets in this way. For sure I have to build 42000 and 9396. Ladies and Gents, here is my first PIrate Brickfilm in 5 years! ( wow, that long already?!) It's only a test really, but i'll be making another 10-20 seconds each weekend from now on until I get bored and decide to start a bigger project Brickfilm ( I already have the idea in my head, basing it off the Lego Pirate comic) Anyways, without further ado, here it is! Please tell me what you think and what I could improve on it. Getting a new camera is not really an option at the moment, so excuse the camera quality :p EDIT: Dagnabbit,,, I posted it to the wrong place >< could an administrator please fix this? sorry...

Hello Eurobricks! It's finally Here! Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince PART 9! the stop motion phenomenon is back! Harry discovers his newfound popularity, learns that Stan Shunpike has been arrested, and holds a frustratingly massive Quidditch tryout that includes a run-in with Cormac McLaggen and ends with Katie, Ginny, and Ron making the team. They visit Hagrid and learn that Aragog is dying, Harry confronts Hermione about having confunded McLaggen during the tryout. Malfoy has somehow introduced a possible dangerous object into Hogwarts, the question is why, and how? Hello fellow AFOL's! My name is Alex Kobbs (aka. Kooberz) and I'm the creator of Kooberz Studios. I have made a career out of brickfilming for a while now, and I usually concentrate on the combination of video games and our favorite bricks. My goal is to entertain with the power of animation, while simultaneously teaching new-comers about what I do and raising the bar of brickfilming to a higher/artistic standard. (that sounds a bit pretentious when I read it back, but I just want to do my best and reach as many people as possible) I was featured in this on Lego Art not too long ago, and it basicly covers everything I do.One of the highlights of my career was opening the 2012 DICE awards with a last Feb...with a custom music track by THE Glen Ballard of musical fame.I hope you enjoy what I do! Christmas comes to Hoth, in a little LEGO stop motion movie I made. I had the idea in case LEGO ran another Santa Yoda contest, but when they went with the Holiplay idea I decided to make it anyway. Enjoy and any feedback is appreciated. Unless you are from the Dean Martin Estate :)
