I love this set. I've just sat there and watched the cars go by so much lol. Love all the expressions on the minifigs, the little things like the photo booth, cotton candy machine, etc. I really only have one complaint and that is the queuing line. It is basically a circle no entrance or exit to the ride. That will have to fixed when I get it placed in a display.

This is great. Just the style that I would like for my winter village. Going to try and build it! Thanks!

I saw these on the Ideas page a few weeks ago for the first time and immediately supported them. So great! I didn't know you had video instructions, that is awesome. I would love to build these!- 45 replies

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
aukevin replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I really like the Diner. It doesn't fit in too well with the others but I hope LEGO starts releasing more than do match that decor, that way we can start building up that part of town. For me, it's just the left side (with the stairs) that I have a hard time finding a place for, so it is basically at a corner for me because I don't like anything attached to that side. -
This is beyond what I was expecting. Can't wait to get it!

Looks great. I've been working on one as well. Love your sign, going to borrow that :)

[REVIEW] Wicked Brick - 75192 - Millennium Falcon Stand
aukevin replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Out of stock already for just the stand! I'll keep an eye out and might get this. Looks real nice! -
I think it looks great! Maybe LEGO will sell individual rail pieces like they do train tracks so we can make it even bigger!

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
aukevin replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
On LEGO's twitter page, they said that the LEGO versions of the Solo posters would be available soon. So maybe they will have a promotion for them when Solo releases or May the 4th. Of course, this is before the controversy that someone at Disney ripped those original non-LEGO poster designs off. -
That would be amazing! I would definitely build one of these for my desk at work!

LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!
aukevin replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It is cool to get the funky speeder thing and the Wuher minifig, but that's all I got out of it. I was hoping to use some of the parts to expand my cantina but there really isn't much new stuff there. I used a couple of the stickers and stuff from the new one I guess to update the one from 2014. -
I would love a Hogswart in the style of the Helicarrier that way you could hopefully have the whole castle with little micro figures as well. Lego already has micro figures of the HP world from a game right? Of course if they go that route, they also need to release a nice set of regular figures with a good display stand just like the Helicarrier did.

Hi there, sorry I didn't reply way back when you made this post. I lost track of where the post was lol! Forgot about it being in the MOC subforum! It's been a while, but I would estimate I put another $200 into it on top of the official LEGO Black Pearl set. It didn't reuse as much of the original as I expected other than the sails, mast, hull.
-
I built Brickstruct.com's custom Black Pearl recently and wanted to share the result with you in case any of you were wondering how it turns out. The build was pretty good, a bit unstable at some points but in the end it all came together very nicely and it is one of my favorite sets. The build is definitely worth the purchase of the custom instructions and bricks. I reused a lot of the bricks from the official Black Pearl set, but this set is over twice the number of bricks. Having a top deck is really nice. It isn't the easiest to get to the bottom deck, this is mostly a display set I feel. So I put some plates down on the bottom deck to hold the cannons in place. There is also a little cell on the bottom deck that I put a skeleton in. It's not really pictured, but there is a skylight that shows down into the captain's quarters. Anyway, here are some pics, hope you enjoy! Here's the full ship. I think one of my favorite things are all the cannons the ship holds: I added a plank and some top deck cannons to the build: I put together a few custom minifigures to go with the official ones to round out Jack and Barbossa's crew: A couple more pics of the ship: I displayed it in a sea of about 6000 trans-blue single round studs. I sure hope it never falls off the shelf! One last pic of Jack stranded on his island with just his compass, a pistol, and some rum.

@de-marco My LEGO Christmas village needed some cars so I made 6 of yours. They were delicate but ingenius to build and I loved the way they turned out and fit into my town very nicely. I was looking through my pics of my village yesterday and thought I'd share with you some of the cars riding around in my town: Thanks for all the models, I'm sure I will add more in the future!

Looks great. I remember what you had last year and it inspired me to do some similar things with my village.

Thanks! Yeah extending it wasn't bad at all other than having to buy the second set. I used a few pieces from my spares for the flooring of the coffee shop and the supports underneath, but I didn't have to. I originally only used pieces from the extra set and was able to extend it. I just wanted to improve it a little more and used spares. I did have to use a long 1 x ? gray plate for waiting area's roof to connect to the two black support beams, that was the only piece the extra set didn't offer, but again I think I could have made do with what was offered but it wasn't as structurally sound. Making one just for the coffee shop works out good with the $10 Christmas Train Ride set from this year because that set comes with a barista minifig.
