A very clean looking improvement all around! The incorporation of the newer windshield part from The Lego Batman Movie Batmobile in place of the older Trans-Yellow windshields works quite nicely!

BrickHeadz 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
Pertaining to Disney particularly, I could see us possibly getting classic Winnie the Pooh and Mary Poppins sets in early 2019 following the late 2018 theatrical releases of Christopher Robin and Mary Poppins Returns. For tie-in sets related to 2019 Disney movies specifically, Toy Story BrickHeadz are most certainly a given to tie into the fourth installment of the series, while sets based upon the classic animated incarnations of Aladdin and Jasmine could be another possibility to tie into the upcoming live-action remake.- 238 replies

This is a most exquisitely gargantuan easter egg of a build! I first saw this exclusively featured over on The Brothers Brick blog just a few days ago and was quite awestruck! By the way, does the Manor have an interior by any chance?

What future LEGO Movies would you like to see happen?
Digger of Bricks replied to Realshow's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I don't exactly think that Warner Brothers would cooperate with Disney for such spin-offs. If anything, TLG would instead work solely with Disney for a separate series of crossover movies, with no relation to WB's cinematic universe. Super Creative Hidden Message kinda film? Not sure of exactly what you mean by that.- 97 replies

I'm rather certain that this may be this year's Creator Expert automobile set they're referring to, possibly of a classic Aston Martin DB5 in that particular scale. But, while I know that the DB5 may be as closely tied with the James Bond franchise just as the DeLorean is to the Back to the Future movies, I'm not quite exactly sure if the Creator Expert theory may hold water, since Lego doesn't necessarily need to label a Creator set with James Bond branding. Agreed, as I think Lego should stay away from most (if not all) adult-centric media, specifically of the nature that the James Bond franchise touches upon. Everything that TLG produces should be based upon age appropriate source material, even if a particular set is recommended for older builders. If it is indeed an Expert scaled DB5, that would make even more sense, given that they're both classic British sport cars from the same era.

Lego BrickHeadz 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

I'm not quite certain of that myself, but if this says anything, Warner Brothers does have a cinematic movie based upon the franchise hitting theaters in 2019. So... -
Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation
Digger of Bricks replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Just as a little bit of DCEU news to act as some food for thought for this discussion, November 2019's sequel to Wonder Woman has been officially titled Wonder Woman 1984; and, believe it or not, Chris Pine will be returning as Steve Trevor. Here are our first two official images from the film also: -

We most certainly could use a new underwater action/adventure theme, as we're going on nearly eight years since the last one was introduced.

What future LEGO Movies would you like to see happen?
Digger of Bricks replied to Realshow's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I've expressed this on the prior page of this discussion before, but personally, I think Hugh Jackman would be the perfect choice to voice Johnny Thunder in an Lego Adventurers Movie if that were to ever happen! For that matter, I could also see Russell Crowe voicing one of his archnemses while Marion Cotillard could voice a love interest of his. How so? Are you perhaps suggesting more of a Superman/Green Lantern reluctant cop buddy movie instead, perhaps? Technically that could make sense, as Channing Tanum (a.k.a. Superman) and Jonah Hill (a.k.a. Green Lantern) did play such parts in Phil Lord and Chris Miller's 21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street. Precisely what I had in mind!- 97 replies

Inspirational Modular and Castle MOCs
Digger of Bricks replied to LegoModularFan's topic in LEGO Town
Indeed, and also my very first! With some of the top-notch modular designs you've wowed us with recently, you too really do deserve a title yourself! A Fabuland mushroom house? That's pretty sweet!- 817 replies

Well, I was certainly flabbergasted to see it when I got home! Thanks a billion to whomever granted me the title, as I'm most sheepishly flattered! By the way, was it you by any chance @Pandora?

Disney Movies and TV Shows Discussion

I've heard others postulate that theory elsewhere before, which is pretty possible since others think the full title sounds redundant at surface level. If so, what could that "part" be in reality? A glitter glue cap? Upon and before the release of the teaser, some mainstream news sources had reported upon that element, which I too had initially missed.

Lego BrickHeadz 2018 - Rumors & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
As strange as that may sound, I wouldn't be surprised myself either to see that happen. -
Well, when Sweet Mayhem requests they bring her their fiercest warrior(s), perhaps she (a.k.a. Finn's sister) was gathering/kidnapping fighters to bring back to her star system (a.k.a. Finn's sister's bedroom) to counter some other sort of threat. But, I doubt that threat would still be Duplo, presuming the sister has graduated from that. Perhaps that threat may be in the form of the shape-shifting Queen Watevra Wa-Nabi?

What future LEGO Movies would you like to see happen?
Digger of Bricks replied to Realshow's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
You know, I'd rather wish to see Jonah Hill's Green Lantern be a sort of hanger-on sidekick type in a Batman/Superman cop buddy sequel to The Lego Batman Movie; but, perhaps that's just me not seeing the potential plausibility in a Green Lantern centric entry to the LCU.- 97 replies

Congratulations! Initially, I'd thought your tag was referencing tagging over on Flickr rather than topics here. Why of course...
-
I hadn't initially thought of it that way myself (me, of all people!); but, in retrospect, I guess you've got a point there, especially looking at its tailfin once again.
-
This was the first thing I immediately pondered upon hearing the news, but unlike a merger such as Disney/Fox, the repercussions probably wouldn't be as apparent initially. If anything, I'd guess for now that it may only affect how quickly they'll want to progress forwards with the LCU, and whether or not they'll want to prioritize it over other "tentpole" franchises. Given the somewhat messed-up shape the DCEU looks like it's in currently in, I think they may turn the majority of their attention towards that instead.
