Happy May the 4th everyone! Today is a special day. That's why I'm releasing my first MOC: the Torment Imperial-II Star Destroyer. Made of 3,011 pieces, 25 inches long (79 studs), weighing 2kg, it's a medium-sized, modular Imperial-II Star Destroyer holding on a single Lego stand. It features all of the recognizable elements of the real studio model: turrets, antennas, hangars, bridge, neck, engines, with close attention to every detail and proportions of the original Imperial-II ship from Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Designing took about 70 days, plus 15 days for building / testing, & another 15 days for making instructions and photos. More than 3 months of work. My goal was to build the most accurate SD as I could, in a limited scale - a moderately-sized build that could still easily fit on a desk or shelf, and be moved freely. This choice of scale made working on greeble and proportions a real challenge. Designing a single, secure stand was not an easy task either. But after all this work, I'm really happy with the result. Hi I am back from holiday i spent the last past 2 days on this build and rendered it of 360° turn on bluerender took 2 hours and 11 minutes tops. I reckon it came out well I hope you's enjoy it and the acclemator class mK.II or 2nd build is comign soon so stay tuned for that. The images you have been waiting for are here:

I'm not sure where to put this... Does anyone have a booklet or plans for building captain metalbeard like the one in the duel? I'd like to get the plans and order the parts. I don't feel like shelling out $190 for the duel set when I only want half of the set. Thank you for replies!

DEAR LEGO STAR WARS FANS!!!! If you have found your way to this account, you are either interested in the world of LEGO Micro-building... or you just clicked on a wrong link somewhere and are now very surprised to be surrounded by these tiny marvels of creations... or not. If the former is true then, welcome. In 2011 I received my first STAR WARS Advent Calendar for Christmas, and was blown away by the sheer ingenuity and accuracy capturing the looks of iconic ships in truly micro form. Naturally, I had to have a go myself! I built a few... I was pleased... I built some more... and here we are nearly 6 years later, and I am still building them. I began by reading my first LEGO STAR WARS Visual Dictionary (DK) and building a micro of EVERY SINGLE SET IN THE BOOK! With that now exhausted, I moved onto the 2014 edition with more sets... I built all of those too. So now I just build a micro of every new star wars set that has, is, or will come out since 2014, amongst other iconic and less well-known ships from STAR WARS 'non-canon' such as the Old Republic, Freemaker Adventures, Yoda chronicles to name but a few. With a back catalogue of over 270 mini micros and counting, this truly is the World's largest Encyclopaedia of STAR WARS micro kits. Hey guys, I decided to create this topic and the main idea came from this and this post (so special thanks to @danth and @Digger of Bricks!). I would like to highlight three things before I start to post inspirational MOCs: I’ll post three staff picks everyday! Please feel free to post your favorite MOCs! This amazingly detailed MOC by @pj_bosman! 3. This greatly shaped modular by @cimddwc! Here are the three best Baroque MOC’s IMO! What do you think about them? Would you buy modulars like those if TLG made? Here are the Steampunk ones: 1. This incredible layout made together by @castor-troy and @domino39 (they also made one MOD of the PR and the MS and two MOD’s of the CC included in this layout. I am an aspiring special effects artist and Lego helps me channel in my inner creativity, as well as my love for taking what I see on the silver screen and building it in the palms of my own hands. Hey guys I was also looking at at Episode II of star wars and when the clones attack the droids.I seen the at-te's i did look at the set (the old set)I did take some blueprints from it so I dont know to even say it was my own but i build it on LDD and then rendered it in Bluerender and results turned amazing the shadowing is amazing the graphics is amazing on this software , it almost makes it like its real, giving credit to : KamalMYafi thanks mate. i think i missed a peace at the front oopsss!!....

I want to build a little motor combination that will allow me to slowly move an item on a pedestal, quarter of a turn one way then after returning to starting point go a quarter turn the opposite direction. I have seen a few ideas on other sites but no instructions how to make them. I guessing I need acouple of cogs and lever combinations to make it move back and fortyh. Can someone help. Thanks Mark -

Tried my best to see what I could do with the parts from JUST the scarecrow pizza delivery set and this was what I was able to come up with on my first try. Basically its an abandoned factory or building which is being used by the Scarecrow to sell or distribute his poisoned pizza. -

Hi guys, I am in the US, and will be moving into the house of my dreams next month. I will finally have the basement I've dreamed about. The one where I will have plenty of room for storage, build space, and a large scale city display. This brings me to my point; what should I do about tables? I'm going to need tables for building on, sorting on, etc. And I'll need tables for my display(s). And I'll need a bunch of them. What's my best bet? My most economical option? Do I buy a bunch of tables? Or do I build my own? What have you guys done??? Thanks!

This is a build I have been wanting to do for a while, and thought I'd share with you guys on the forum. In this build I'll be combining one of my favourite sets with one of my least favourite sets. The 7900 heavy loader set is one of my favourite sets of all time. I love the cab-over design and the three axle chassis, and although its big, I think it looks perfectly proportional for what it is, and hasn't dated as much as other sets I own from the same release year. The truck looks awesome and beefy on its own, but the bridge that came with the set is too large to be sitting on the back of it all the time, and without a trailer or implement to tow it isn't of much use. There are no other semi-trailers that are compatible with the truck, and any custom trailer or implement that I've made has doubled up on what I own already. In this build I will be combining the 7900 heavy loader with the 60060 auto transporter, one of my most hated sets. I'll be making a new dual-axle chassis for the semi-truck and putting the car transportation bed on the back. I've already tried a test fit of the parts and it looks great. The 60060 auto transporter is very minimalist, and looks silly when it isn't trucking anything around my town. The proportions are just wrong, and with such a small puny cabin, anything that I pose on the back that's wider than 4 studs looks silly. The 7900 cabin would be a nice touch, and allow me to pose some bigger vehicles on the back without it looking dumb. Hello! I am currently trying to create a box-like build, where on all sides i want to mount building plates. The base is 16x16, as are those vertical mounted plates. What I figured out so far on how to mount them with minimal space, are those bricks with knobs on one side. I should probably mention that i am also limited by the availability of bricks to buy from the official LEGO shop (Austria, if you are wondering; might be relevant as brick availability differs between countries?) I am looking for suggestions if maybe there is a better way to do this. Requirements: - plates need to be mounted on all 4 sides of a cube - top side stays open - as low profile as possible - side-plates should sit as flush as possible with base/top - front of plates on the side should be fully visible, as there will be additional artwork built upon them Thank you for your feedback!

"Wrecker, easy with my ship. "Your ship?" My Midi-Scale collection expands again with this nanofig-scaled Havoc Marauder from the Bad Batch series. Despite the small size, I once again went for a full SNOT look and paid close attention to proportions of the original shuttle. Hey everyone, This is it! After the Torment, the Negotiator proudly joins my Midi-Scale capital ship collection, engineered with the same philosophy in mind: maximizing accuracy, features and proportions of the original model in a moderate size. Made of 3,145 pieces, 68cm (27 inches) long, weighing 1,6kg, the Negotiator is a medium-sized, modular Venator-class Star Destroyer holding on a single, unique Lego stand. This piece of work is the result of weeks of designing, engineering and intense testing. I wanted the Negotiator to be dense, massive-looking, intricate and packed with detail, while being compact and manageable. Building at such a scale, I had to take into account every possible constraint (balance, weight distribution, structure sturdiness) while never compromising any aesthetics (SNOT look, thickness, greeble). The Negotiator features every intricate part of the studio model: turrets, hangar and docking bays, engines, bridge, greeble... with utter attention to detail and proportions of the original ship, as seen in the Clone Wars movie. Modified Circle Track Racer built from set 42137 Formula E Porsche using most of the pieces, and using only the pieces supplied in the set. Has lever at rear to launch it! Powered by its two pullback motors. -
As an absolute fan of the original trilogy, I had to build more Empire ships in Midi-Scale. I decided to start with my favorite TIE model, the TIE Advanced. This 496-piece TIE Advanced features a fully SNOT and detailed surface. It also includes rear engine thrusters at the back of the cockpit dome. Most importantly, being able to design smooth but razor thin wings was the key to making this build look proportionate and realistic. The same applies for the rear section of the fuselage which, being only 1 tile-high, ended up looking just a thin as the original prop model. Logically, the ship scales well to my previous TIE Reaper - I'll keep exploring more of these in the same scale, and maybe one day have a whole fleet of Midi TIE ships! ► Instructions will be available at Rebrickable soon. "I like your ship. She's a classic. Razor Crest, am I right?" My Midi-Scale collection keeps expanding with more than a classic piece of spaceship, the legendary Razor Crest from The Mandalorian. Made of 1,230 pieces, 30cm long, this baby ST-70 Gunship has a total of... zero stud across its entire surface, making it a true 100% SNOT build. At such a size, replicating all the complex angles and features of the original model required advanced SNOT techniques. I really wanted to push the limits of what could be done at such a small scale. Capturing the tapered body also required making a very compact 2 stud wide structure that could still hold everything together securely. The ship has two display modes, "in-flight" with its canted stand, and "landed" with easy-to-install landing gear. Hope you like it! ► Instructions for the Razor Crest are available at BrickVault. Do you use or know any unusual or unofficial building techniques that other people may not know? This topic is suppost to be for MOC builders like me and many others here on Eurobricks. Maybe you have some cool building techniques that could be useable! I don't call these techniques "illegal" because I don't understand why they should be illegal. It would be great if maybe some people could take inspiration for building their own MOCs here.
