[MOC] Magma Tanker vs Mutant Lizard
Digger of Bricks replied to Mitch Henry's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Heh, a Dino Attack/Dino 2010 MOC! That's something you don't see very often, and I know @Lego David would be interested! -
So glad to hear that, as it's a theme I've always hoped more AFOLs would come to appreciate as Lego ups their game with it!

Check out @Ashnflash's April Fools Day CMF Draft!

While we're waiting to hear if whether or not this D2C rumor is true, here's some interesting news: Screen Rant - Stranger Things Ending With A Movie After Season 4 Edit: Damnit! That was the first APRIL FOOLS joke I feel for today!

Lego City 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to TheArturro's topic in LEGO Town
I though he was working full time on HP/FB sets I don't think @Nabii has ever worked with the City theme before; but, if he did indeed contribute in some way to this subtheme, I'd be most amused! Technically they're supposed to be inspired after real-life conceptual proposals for such from NASA; but, most importantly, they can serve as close-enough representation for generic SciFi-esque Space while any sort of proper Space theme is absent for the time being (for whatever reason that may be). -

Given that City's Space subtheme seemingly circuates every four years, I still hope to see a Lunar Expedition/Outpost subtheme next time around.- 991 replies

LEGO Elves 2018
Digger of Bricks replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
While I know such a theme could potentially deprive us of the chance for a minifigure-based theme in the same vein for a few years (depending how it'd be executed), yeah, I'd be very interested to see how Lego would do a minidoll-based Adventurers-type playtheme! * * Minidolls in brown leather aviator jackets sounds particularly enticing! If such a theme took on a similar Neon Cyberpunk/Tron look as Ultra Agents had done, that I'd be potentially interested too!!!- 568 replies

Heh, except I was presuming they'd take such a subtheme to the moon first...- 991 replies

Okaaaaay, that Valkyrie at the end just blew me away... DAMN Robert, yet another brilliant Series from you all in all, with so freaking many groundbreakers!!! Special mention should go to the gorgeously-designed Circus Acrobat, the lovely Southern Belle, that jaw-dropping Valkyrie, and that seriously excellent ADVENTURER!!! I mean, he's absolutely perfect!!!

Say, has anyone here seen this promo animation yet?

LEGO Elves 2018
Digger of Bricks replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I know this has been brought up here many times before as it became more and more apparent that Elves was winding down, but, does anyone here have some great ideas for what Lego's next minidoll-based Action/Adventure theme will be as a successor to Elves?- 568 replies

Like I'd said earlier, I find it quite comparable to Agents' 8971 Aerial Defence Unit, except definitely a little cleaner.

Lego City 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to TheArturro's topic in LEGO Town
Well seriously, as City's first-ever extraterrestrial venture, I'm surprised they bypassed the Moon and went straight to Mars! -
If there isn't already, I personally think that'd be better. Edit: Alright, I guess there is already at least this topic:

Which one? The one from 7781 or 7784? That it stands alone without a complementary vehicle makes it more like a Speed Champions set, which is pretty cool if you ask me! -
Is there no separate topic(s) for those movies? If not, perhaps this one could be inclusive of such; but, this topic was once titled something along the lines of "LEGO Cinematic Universe Discussion" before being simplified to what it is now, so I'm not sure if the newer title is necessarily accommodating of Direct-to-Home-Media releases or not.

I know they're not Classic Space or anything more fantastical, but I think they're at least a step in right direction for the City theme. Plus, I feel they're in the same spirit as Lego's first wave of Classic Space sets, as they're both reflective of the hopes and aspirations for extraterrestrial colonization of the times they were released. After the Apollo Missions, we hoped to set up shop on the Moon, while nowadays we instead hope to make at least temporary residence on Mars.

What are those larger Bat Wings? Bionicle/constraction? Heh, speaking of the Light Bluish Grey you used elsewhere, I do like how the rear wheels are "sandwiched" in a Blade Runner Spinner/Tumbler sorta way. Man, I wish that windshield did come in either of those colors (Trans-Yellow most preferably); but, so far, we've only seen it in Trans-Light Blue, Trans-Black, and Trans-Reddish Neon Orange. Here's to hoping for further future recolors though while we're on the subject! I do know of one other Batmobile MOC from @TheBrickBuilder14 that utilizes the Nexo windshield part: While I admit his attempt at giving that part a roof is a little better, still, Lego really needs to make a proper plate/tile/specialized part that can top off that windshield more precisely.

Same here! Honestly though, while I'm placing my hopes on Mystero's "fishbowl" being reused for a '50s B-Movie Spaceman CMF, TLBM Mr. Freeze's two-part assembly would work just as well for such an archetype! -

True, as the Statue of Liberty is not only more complex in its construction, for the same price, you get oodles of Sand Green goodness from the former!

Plus, there is also a leaked preliminary of a Space-themed fairground ride coming this summer for Creator's Three-In-One line. Readers of this topic might be interested in that one too!
