  1. Personally, I'm hoping that we'll be seeing indirect, comic-based tie-in sets for those shows instead. Like I'd suggested above, such can be both instead.
  2. His render of comic-styled Star-Lord in particular is my favorite amongst all his designs, as I've wished for a figure of that incarnation earlier on this topic!
  3. Sounds great! I'll be looking most forward to all the complete interviews!
  4. This is a very specfic, obscure wish, but I'd love to see The Aviatrix from Marvel's Mystery Men as a minifigure. Speaking of Marvel CMSs, have you yet seen @The Brick King's Classic Marvel CMF Draft?
  5. So, I guess you're just generally hoping for anything that may fall into the context of "Classic Space" rather than setting your heart on anything more specific within that context? Personally, I think the most ideal archetype the Classic Space genre/subtheme could use right now from the Collectable Minifigure line is a Starship Captain. Ya know, it'd essentially be a Yellow skin-toned Captain Kirk from Star Trek, except with a Classic Space logo rather than a Starfleet one.
  6. Well, as of the time of this post (pre-Series 19), my own standout favorites for each Series include... Series 1: Spaceman Series 2: Explorer Series 3: Pilot Series 4: The Monster Series 5: Detective Series 6: Intergalactic Girl Series 7: Galaxy Patrol Series 8: Diver Series 9: Hollywood Starlet Series 10: Warrior Woman Series 11: Evil Mech Series 12: Space Miner Series 13: Classic King Series 14: Skeleton Guy Series 15: Queen Series 16: Hiker Series 17: Retro Spaceman Series 18: Cowboy Costume Guy

  9. Oh, and since you initially mentioned an idea for a Time Travel theme, might I also suggest these two topics for Action/Adventure themes more specifically. The first one is of a more casually general nature, while the latter is designated for more specific, fleshed-out ideas.
  10. Here's an alternate wishlist of mine: Edwardian Gentleman/Gentlewoman Legendary Lumberjack (a.k.a Paul Bunyan) Inventor (preferably Steampunk themed) Alpine Goat Herder Motorcar Driver (a.k.a turn-of-the-century automobilist) Dutch Boy Old-Western Locomotive Engineer Airship Captain (essentially, a Steampunk take on a 19th Century Navel Captain) Medieval Blacksmith French Queen (a.k.a. Marie Antoinette) Shepherd Dickensian/Victorian Christmas Caroler WWI-Era Aviator Nature Elf (a.k.a. generic CMF homage to Lego's Elves theme) Evil King/Queen Mother Goose
  11. Without going into specifics, what subject matters and topics were discussed?
  12. So, does anyone see any future potential with any of Disney+'s upcoming streaming exclusives for Lego? TV Guide - New Disney+ Details on Star Wars, Marvel, High School Musical, Classic Movies, and More
  13. Say, maybe you should build a smaller, non-UCS counterpart to this utilizing the other Trans-Purple Slave I canopy that comes with the Pop-Up Bus, perhaps basing it off of the instructions for this year's 75243 Slave I: 20th Anniversary Edition!
  14. He has done one licensed CMF draft as a commission for the YouTube channel Brother From Another Brick.
  15. Have any particular CMF hopes for Series 19 and beyond? Personally, a few wishes I have for the future include... Rocket Trooper/Hero (think The Rocketeer) Retro Space Heroine (a female counterpart to the S17 Retro Spaceman) Intergalactic Cop (in other words, a Space Police Officer!) Mecha Pilot (perhaps as a tribute to LEGO's Exo-Force theme) Starship Captain (think Star Trek's Captain Kirk or Picard) Inventor (preferably Steampunk themed, much like @Robert8's design) Retro Space Explorer (more akin to bubble-helmeted spacemen of '50s Sci-Fi rather than Flash Gordon) Time Traveler (preferably Steampunk themed) Malevolent Android (inspired after Metropolis's Maschinenmensch) Starfighter Pilot (like any pilot character you'd see from Star Wars, except Classic Space themed) Galactic Overlord (inspired lightly after Darth Vader, but with a Blacktron theme) Airship Captain (essentially, a Steampunk take on a 19th Century Navel Captain)
  16. By the way, do you (or anyone else for that matter) know what products/sets may have came of this inquiry?
  17. This has been noted before by others elsewhere in the past, but the blind bag model is sort of a "necessary evil" if Lego is going to sell individual minifigures, as there are many archetypes that otherwise couldn't be viably possible without it.
  18. Discuss your hopes, wishes, and speculation on what LEGO's Collectable Minifigure line may offer for Sci-Fi fans in the near future!
  19. WE NEED MORE COLLECTABLE MINIFIGURE WISHLIST TOPICS LIKE THIS! Alright, here's my shot: Frontiersman (think Daniel Boone) Oriental Emperor/Empress Sorceress (think Sleeping Beauty's Maleficent) Victorian Gentleman/Gentlewoman Heroic Prince Steampunk Adventurer/Adventuress Pilgrim (Mayflower colonist, that is) Viking Chieftain Masked Avenger (a.k.a. Zorro) Babylonian King Heroic Fantasy Knight Valkyrie (especially if it's anything like @Robert8's design) Atlantean Warrior Arabian Prince/Princess Dutch Milkmaid Renaissance Airman (a.k.a. DaVinci-esque Glider Aviator)
  20. I think it'd work quite nicely for an Automobile Showroom, perhaps fit into the modular format with apartment/office spaces on the second and third floors.
  21. Well, could you perhaps gain some insight into what most of China's Lego-purchasing consumers are seeking from Lego, maybe in terms of what product lines/themes/franchises are the most popular over there and what Chinese AFOLs feel is lacking currently in their product line-up?
