Have no fear, Series 19 may be here this September! -
[Compilation] How to Collect All LEGO Iron Man.
Digger of Bricks replied to kaelthas's topic in LEGO Licensed
After all these years, it's kind of a shame that the character hasn't as much proper comic-based representation as a minifigure when you weigh what we have seen for such in comparison with Iron Man's cinematic offerings. -

LEGO Minifigures - Disney Series 2 poll
Digger of Bricks replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Licensed
While I do love how this Series' Anna and Elsa CMFs have both turned out, honestly, Hercules has to be my favorite singular entry, as I'm always a sucker for heroic archetypes in both non-licensed and licensed CMSs. -
REVIEW: 71024 LEGO Minifigures - The LEGO Disney Series 2
Digger of Bricks replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Licensed
Say, does Scrooge McDuck's tophat work on Mickey's/Minnie's head, or does it not fit in between the mold's ears? For that matter, while I'm presuming it works just fine with Donald's/Daisy's head, how about Huey's/Dewey's/Louie's head mold? P.S. I never noticed in other reviews of this Series how Jasmine's torso is done. I mean, why? Can you imagine if Series 1's Ariel was executed in the same way? -

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I myself I'm still waiting for something else Art Deco more in the way of BioShock's Rapture rather than Fallout (just as one way of putting it). -
Ooooh, I'd love to see @Ashnflash design an original, non-licensed Series!!!

Here is someone's two cents on the film that I found rather interesting (though it is somewhat spoilery):

LEGO Disney Minifigures & D2Cs - Rumors and Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Licensed
Just please maintain room for at least one un-licensed CMS per year. I most heartily agree, as it's definitely one of Lego's better choices for a long-term licensed CMS line. Ditto.- 961 replies

Lego City 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to TheArturro's topic in LEGO Town
Besides, Lego seemingly can't venture into "deep space" at least until after Star Wars' Ep. IX blows over. After Solo, not much as been said about Star Wars' future right after the wrap-up of the Sequel Trilogy, with no news about further development of anthology spin-offs or those other two trilogies they had announced intentions for. -
Well, generally speaking, I personally think the more simplistic designs of DC/Marvel characters' comic-based iterations are definitely more fitting for the classic feel of the Lego Minifigure. I mean, outside of minifigures, I usually prefer such characters' more photo-realistic, cinematic iterations for the most part; but, their comic-based counterparts just work better for minifigures in a more Classic context.

CMF SERIES 19 GUESSING GAME!
Digger of Bricks replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Since the last time this topic was last commented on, reports from Zusammengebaut at the Nuremberg Toy Fair have confirmed that September's Collectable Minifigure Series will indeed contain SIXTEEN different CMFs, acting as further confirmation that we will indeed be seeing SERIES 19 this year. While Sandy Cheek's two-part mold would be nice (especially in accommodating that sweet hairpiece recolor you suggested), would you at all mind seeing such a archetype wear this newer, smaller "fishbowl" instead (as pictured on the figure below)?- 36 replies

Alright, I understand, though I still do sincerely hope that your work influences TLG and other fans alike in some way, perhaps even propagating an increase in the output of further non-licensed CMFs in both official products and fan art! I mean, regarding the latter, there are not many CMF fan artists who render original archetype designs outside of your own work, as most of them take the licensed route.

I mean, the more devoted regulars have turned out, but I'm wondering if it's rather escaping everyone else attention instead. I forget, has this topic ever been frontpaged before? If it has already, could it be frontpaged again? Can select posts from within a topic be frontpaged @WhiteFang?
