  1. Same feeling here, i have been looking at the Buwizz blog expecting a new update or something, but the last update was in August and it was about a "MOC Contest", i hope them to say something soon, like if the products are still in construction or if they are ready to be sold, because we haven't got any information in a while.
  2. I don´t think so, i think that it could be just a prototype piece and that is why there are no sets that have it, and maybe someone just got an example of it and published it (which i think is the reason of why there is only 1 picture of the piece in the internet), but i don´t think that we will see this piece (or a similar one) in a while.
  3. I think it is just for catalog at bricklink, not for sale (yet),seems to be an extremely rare piece, it actually looks to be a lever, it has 14 pin holes, and one cross-axle hole in each side, so far i haven't been able to find a seller, maybe you can try by searching it in internet as "Lego liftarm02", which is its name.
  4. I know that those absorbers can be used for suspension, not by personal experience but i have seen them into heavy trucks, i will post it in a while, i need to remember where is the post (i saw them in Efferman´s MAN truck) EDIT: I found it: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/topic/60459-effes-moc-corner/&do=findComment&comment=1567193
  5. Don´t worry, so, what do you need? Now i see, as i know that part is just like a normal liftarm, but it has 16 pin holes (as far as i know).
  6. Mmmmm, i think there is something missing in your post.
  7. Hello everyone, i would like to share you my recreation of this amazing model in LDD: LXF: http://bricksafe.com/files/imanol/baja-trophy-truck-by-rm8/RM8 BAJA Trophy Truck Double Trouble.lxf It was a bit hard to recreate some of the nice features of the model, i couldn't place some parts (because of LDD), like the servo and the flex axles of the mudguards, they were placed at a side of the vehicle (in the same file), but even without those parts it looks amazing, the positive caster and the rear axle are extremely realistic, and the whole model it so cleverly built, i really like it, i actually like it to a point that i decided to make a modified version of it, with that said, let me introduce to you my "BAJA Police Interceptor Truck": LXF: http://bricksafe.com/files/imanol/baja-trophy-truck-by-rm8/police-mod/RM8 BAJA Trophy Truck Modified.lxf I hope you like both, if you are interested in the modified version, feel free to go here for additional details: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/topic/141812-imanolbb´s-moc´s-and-mod¨s-and-possibly-good-ideas/&do=findComment&comment=2679620 Thanks for sharing the instruction Rm8, this is a very cool model, and i hope to build it in a future. EDIT: My modified version is already available at Rebrickable: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/imanol/rm8s-baja-trophy-truck-modifed
  8. Hello, this time a modification, i have made Rm8´s BAJA Trophy Truck (AKA Double Trouble: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/topic/109447-double-trouble/&page=1) in LDD, a very satisfying construction with lots of clever techniques and realism: LXF: http://bricksafe.com/files/imanol/baja-trophy-truck-by-rm8/RM8 BAJA Trophy Truck Double Trouble.lxf The model has brick-built buggy motors (which are grouped so you can put them apart), i couldn't place some parts because LDD doesn't have the real life "flexibility", but it still looks cool, and after making it, i decided to make "little" modifications: This is my "BAJA Police Interceptor Truck", i don´t know if there are real life police trophy trucks (i don´t think there are, but i would like if there were), this model has almost the same features of the original model by Rm8, the difference is that it is powered by 2 Buwizz: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/topic/136273-buwizz-high-performance-lego-power-functions-controller-and-battery/), so it should be even a bit faster in real life, it has reinforced bumpers in in the front and in the rear, the front one has some rubber parts, which are there to give more grip when it is "intercepting" another vehicle, it is also thought to use 3rd party tires (they are represented with other tires, but possibly it would use the same ones as the original model), standard (ugly and fat) lego tires still can be placed by only adding 1L bush on each side of the axle to make them fit: INSTRUCTIONS: http://bricksafe.com/files/imanol/baja-trophy-truck-by-rm8/police-mod/RM8 BAJA Trophy Truck Modified.lxf I will try to upload my modified version to Rebrickable, so you can get the parts list to buy them. Special thanks to Rm8 for sharing the instructions for this nice model, i hope you like both them. By the way, i have made some little advances in the Uni-moc, i need to finish all the mudguards and make a locking system for the 3-side tipping bed (and make better headlights): EDIT: The modified BAJA Truck is now available at Rebrickable: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/imanol/rm8s-baja-trophy-truck-modifed
  9. Those tires look perfect on your model, about the video, i don´t care too much about the time, for me its better late than never .
  10. And i also would need a place to store those parts , maybe i would put all those parts into boxes... which would be made of Lego parts too .
  11. That´s pretty good, very clever solution, and it is very compact too, i like it.
  12. Hello, i like this model, looks very robust and very strong, the A-like structures look very good and the base with the tracks is very well built,i really like your work on it, is huge but seems functional and has that "Heavy equipment" look which i like a lot, i hope you can create a video of how it works soon, because i am very interested in it, and i hope to see more models by you, nice work.
  13. So many hoses, that is looking awesome, that suction tube (if it is a suction tube) looks good too, nice to know you found that blocked T-piece.
  14. Thanks everyone for your kind words, right now i am finishing both sides of the Uni-moc, i have placed all the PF components and the pneumatic valves and the pump (sadly i got space only for 1 pump), and i am expecting to add the covers, the rear mudguards and finish the rear end of the truck, once i finish that, i will start the cabin; i will also browse in my computer to see if there are any more models which are worth to share here, thank you all for your support and you interest.
  15. You would need pay for a container to get all those parts (yes, i will be pretty expensive), but if i could get them, i would be the happiest man in the world.
  16. I think he would get more earnings by selling everything individually and would be easier to sell than a bunch of 4 tonnes at 1 million, maybe at Bricklink, or directly to the buyer, but oh my God, 4 tonnes of Lego, that would make my collection better (which is only like 15KG of parts )
  17. That is really good, thanks to God you found that mis-printed CV-joint, is really cool how well the whole model is working now, in my mind is almost if i was hearing the real sound of the vehicle while accelerating and shifting, like vrrrrrrrr - tuc - vrrrrrrrrrr - tuc, it is looking very well.
  18. Hello again, i have an important advice, to avoid filling this topic with only my own MOC, i have decided to continue its designing and building here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/topic/141812-imanolbb´s-moc´s-and-mod¨s-and-possibly-good-ideas/, however, i will post the highlights of its building process and when it is finished, so you will see it too.
  19. Hello people, as i have seen some topics made by some members were they share their creations, modifications and ideas, i thought it was a good idea to start my own topic about that, this way i can avoid filling other topics with too many information by saving all that information here and just posting small texts in those other topics. To start, i would like to share some creations which i worked on: Model Team Nissan Frontier. This is one of my oldest models, i made it even before i knew about Eurobricks, and i would like to share it with you because you might like it or modified it: This model features front independent suspension, rear leaf spring suspension using 5.5 axles, HOG steering, working doors, bonnet and tailgate, 5 seats and a towing hitch; its very possible that some parts are with wrong colors or there could be outdated building techniques, but i think that is not too bad for one of my first LDD models (i am no sure, but if i have enough time and inspiration i could make it in real Technic parts), The LXF: http://bricksafe.com/files/imanol/nissan-frontier/Nissan Frontier.lxf. Model Team Paramount Group Marauder MRAP. Again, one of my oldest models, it is made at a pretty small scale but it could still be considered as "model team" (i think), it has pendular suspension in both axles which are damped by cross-axles which act as leaf springs, it has HOG steering, working winch and doors, a spare tire and 2 turrets that can be mounted on the roof: The LXF: http://bricksafe.com/files/imanol/paramount-marauder/Paramount Group Marauder.lxf Technic Unimog U500 Long Chassis (I have called it UNI-MOC) You might have seen it in the latest posts at 8110´s Mods topic ( http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/topic/57543-8110-unimog-mods-and-improvements/&page=78 ), it is a 64 studs long and 24 studs wide model which i started to make because the modifications in the 8110 got to a too high level and i wasn´t satisfied with the whole model, i created this new model to hold all of my wanted functions and details, this model has some designs from other builders: Madoca´s Tatra 2-speeds gearbox (slightly modified to fit in this new chassis), Efferman´s planetary rims, a modified version of Didumos knob gear driven axle and a 3-side dumping system and dropping sides inspired by Kumbbl´s modifications, it was also made by some help and inspiration by Pat-Ard: This Unimog has 4 M-Motors, 2 L-Motors, 2 XL-Motors, 3 IR RC Receivers, 2 AAA Battery Boxes and 3 PF Switches (brick-built with ugly colors), why so many motors? well, as you might know, the 8110 had only one M-Motor inside it, which was meant to drive the 3 main functions of the set (front PTO, rear PTO and the pneumatic pump) the problem was that the functions couldn't be used simultaneously, you couldn't power front and rear PTO´s at the same time or with the pneumatic pump and because this system uses a gearbox and axles to engage and transmit the power to the different parts, this results in a lot of friction and power losing (other of the reasons of why i started this MOC), other thing that bother me about the 8110 was the proportions of it, it was very tall with lifted wide axles, but very thin cab and bed which made it look silly, the chassis had no space for all the functions that i wanted, i couldn't place enough motors or functions on it, and the axles were another problem, the steering pivot and angle was a disappointing, the tires couldn't steer too much with the half pins, and if you removed them, the mudguards and the surrounding elements needed to be placed far away from the tires to avoid them from colliding, these are few of the reasons of why i started to make my own version of this UGN class of Unimog (which are U300, U400 and U500). Some of the good features of this model are: Improved steering pivot (2 studs closer to the wheels compared to standard portal hubs) Wheels and portal hubs can handle more torque without jamming parts The axles are more compact (less tall), so the chassis can move even lower for a more realistic performance Front steering by L-Motor Rear steering (By M-Motor) with the same axle design as the front one Anti-roll bars in both axles, which help a lot to handle with weight and give a lot of stability, and they can be easily removed for serious offroading Remotely shifted 2-speeds gearbox by M-Motor Directly driven pneumatic pump (L-Motor) and PTO´s (M-Motors) for less power losing 3-side tipping 37 studs long 23 studs wide dump bed with dropping sides using a V2 large pneumatic cylinder Drive by 2 XL-Motors So, these are some of my models, i hope you like them, and i hope to upload more of them, i will try to do my best with all them, let me know what you think about this topic and the models, and any suggestion is well received Thanks.
  20. That is exactly what happened to me, i was making my Uni-moc chassis and i was putting the anti-roll bar, and when i was watching the truck i found it was slightly tilted to a side (which was weird because it has no weight on it), i compressed and released the whole suspensions, nothing changed, i changed the shock absorbers from one side to another and it was still tilted, i was scratching my head trying to understand what was wrong, and about 5 hours later when i was making the pictures and i uncoupled the anti-roll bars, it magically leveled how it was thought, and then i find that there was a bent 5L axle, i was angry and i felt a bit idiot, but finally i was happy to find the problem, is sadly that you couldn't find the problem in the CV before all of that hard work, but you finally found it, and this is also a very important information to many builders, so they should check for mis-printed parts too.
  21. I think it is a molding issue, because i don´t see any evidence of twisting, and actually i think that the 2 walls would wear up or bend outside before that the axle could twist, and there are also previous molding issues in other models axle-like parts, i have seen a lot of people complaining about bent axles in the 42055, so it is possible to be the same in the 42056 (and the bent part seems new compared to the other one, which makes this theory more possible).
  22. Interchangeable turrets?, that would be really cool, you are starting to think like a truly military engineer, aiming to make the vehicles easy to assemble and disassemble with modular design and easy to replace parts, i am very interested in that.
  23. At this point it is supposed to be a U500, but i am also planning that when i finish this version and i get all the pieces and the finished model in real life, i will start to design an UHN version, which wouldn't need to have the PTO´s and the pneumatic pumps, and that could give me enough space to add buggy motors or even 2 Extra XL´s for a total of 4 XL´s, and if the inspiration is enough, maybe i will make it 6x6 like a U2450, i am not sure if i could be able to keep the rear steering in that version, but i will try to.
  24. Good idea, i will try to save as much space as possible, it might be possible, and after i finish all the chassis, i will start with the cabin.
  25. the mog is getting in good shape: The dump bed with the dropping sides is almost finished, and i feel good with the result, it is 37 long and 23 wide, which means it is pretty much bigger than the 8110 bed: The dumping system, based in Kumbbl 3-side tipping design, but this one uses a V2 large cylinder, real life testings (with a brick built version of the cylinder) have shown that the inclination of the dump bed is about 30 degrees backwards and about 80 to the sides (yes, almost vertical), this happens because there are no multi-stage cylinders which would be the right option here, and the V2 one works different. So far i only need to finish the rear steering system, place the pneumatic pump, the PF switches and the gearbox shifter (i am thinking to use a micro-motor for this), the red axle connector is for the rear steering, i also think that i have used the weirdest but still efficient way to attach 2 of the IR RC receivers: I am glad to see that this project is being successfully finished.
