  1. This is the perfect moment to say "Hey, that´s pretty good!", the video really shows how good this model is, i think that the steering system works enough good and i don´t see almost any movement due to the suspension, i think it works perfectly, as well as the differentials and the VR6, i didn't expected that it would have sound but it did, that is a great feature too, a model like this would be really great for an official set, nice functions and lots useful pieces, thanks for sharing the video.
  2. Nice recreation, i am very impressive of the amount of details you could replicate on it, nice work, hope to see more updates.
  3. That is serious speed, and it is already a lot considering that the RC motors aren´t fully powered (yet, because of the single Li-Po), the modifications look really good so far, i hope to see more updates of this truck.
  4. This truck looks very cool, despite it is not motorized (at least not yet) i can imagine it must be a very fun model to play with, the suspension system along with the detailed body and engine, as well as those robust axles and that amazing steering system, all these features make this model a very nice one, i hope to see more of this model (i would like a video too), showing the functions in detail, thanks for sharing it.
  5. Cool MOC, it works pretty well and looks amazing too, the video presentation really makes it all better, the functions and the compact design are truly masterpieces, nice work on it.
  6. I think that you have just built a perfect chassis for a Ripsaw; i cant believe the speed, is really great how BuWizz can boost the models, thanks for the video ZBLJ, i hope there will be more of them.
  7. I think that if you are looking only for the pieces and not for the boxes or maybe the instructions, it is okay as long as it is complete, of course if this person lives near you, it is more preferable to get the sets personally, independently of the reputation this person has, this way you can check perfectly what you are getting without being scammed, and i think that it is highly possible that this person gets the sets which don´t pass the "quality control", like opened or damaged boxes and bags, or maybe like you said, he gets them when they are returned, because these kind of "offers" or "bargains" never happen near my place (and even in my country), i might not be the ideal person to advise you, but if you consider that these sets are worth and have the conditions to buy them, you can buy them, but be careful with their condition.
  8. I have reverse-engineered a lot of MOCs and ideas from a lot of other builders, gearboxes, axles, body-works, suspensions and many other things, and as well, i know people who have used some of my MOCs and ideas, for me, both cases are acceptable as long as these actions don´t affect the original designer, i would try to avoid posting instructions of models which include designs of other builders which are meant to be sold, that way i wont affect the original designer and in both cases i also expect credits for the original designer; and backing to reverse-engineering a MOC or idea, i think it is also a good practice for every builder and it is like some kind of tribute for the original designers, it also trains your skills and your knowledge about building techniques, and this can also be possible with official sets, i have seen many people who have made whole official sets from only a few pictures or videos, for me this shows how skilled and experiences one can be at the time of recreating a set, so, i think reverse-engineering can be accepted with the previous conditions.
  9. Hi Milan, i would like to suggest The Indominus Rex Truck And Indominus MKII Truck by SilenWin for the HOF: Indominus Rex: Indominus MKII: I hope that the images and the links are okay.
  10. Thank you, and thanks for giving that extra information about the panhard bar, actually, i will consider using it in my Uni-Moc, but only if there is enough space in it (i hope there is).
  11. Hello @FabioF, welcome to Eurobricks, first of all, the original Unimog 8110 Modifications topic with lots of MODs and very helpful information is this one: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/57543-8110-unimog-mods-and-improvements/&page=1 But don´t worry , i still can give you some tips, the misalignment or displacement of the front axle is a well known problem with this model due to the "Panhard Bar Inclination", some time ago (in some of my first posts ever) i posted some solutions for this problem, here is a gallery with some of my pictures: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=557983; i once lifted the truck by 1 stud and needed to make the same solution as you have done there of swapping the double hole piece for the single hole one, and it did worked well, but i just wanted to make it better and that is why i made all of those extra modifications, about the other improvements and features you want to add, the trilateral tilt caisson (also known as "3 side tipping bed"), the pneumatically tilted cabin, the RC conversion, the crane behind the cabin, etc, all these modifications could be possible, maybe not all of the at the same time, but at least most of them, you might need some RC sets (like the 42030), some pneumatic sets (like 42043 or 42053) and possibly a few other sets for other parts, i hope these tips could help you and if you have any other doubts or questions you can always post in the Unimog Modifications topic (the one where there will be more members that will help you too, good luck with your Mog .
  12. Hell it is fast despite how massive it is, i didn't expected that speed and the video really impressed me, i imagine that it might be one of the most dominant models in the truck trial, is good to see how well everything performs, specially those planetary rims, i hope to make my own truck in a future and see if it is at the same level as yours; thank you for sharing this model with us, is really amazing like the previous one.
  13. Splendid performance, it seems to have a very low gravity center, thus it is very stable in those obstacles, good video, it really shows the power of the model.
  14. It looks really good, you made a great job with the body, it has some pretty nice shapes, and the tires make it look cool, i think you made a great job by making it like that truck you showed in the WIP tread, the looks cool too, is a bit small but i am sure it compensates it with its nice look and strength, for me this model turned out very well, i hope to see more updates and possibly a video of it in action, nice work.
  15. The truck chassis looks good so far, the rear outriggers are pretty cool too, the whole model looks promising, by the way, for a moment i thought that the truck shown in the picture had a rail-gun cannon (wouldn't be a bad idea), it looks very nice and i imagine that it must have a lot of capacity which such crane and outriggers.
  16. I must say that i am amazed with the level of functionality of the pick-up truck, it is really amazing, 2 differential locks and a 2 speeds gearbox in such small model and they work perfectly, and even having all those functions you managed to add a modest but cool interior and those levers are a great addition too (considering that they actually have a function), i really like how it performs, the suspension works very good; the hatchback car is really cool too, is like a rocket, and is so detailed with a nice interior, i like that it even has positive caster angle, and despite it maybe didn't worked perfectly, i think it is okay for such fast and small model, for me both models are truly masterpieces, they perform very good, 2 nice and outstanding models, nice work on them and thanks for sharing.
  17. It looks very nice and has an outstanding performance, the body is very detailed and has some pretty nice shapes, and i like how it can be separated from the chassis, i think that this is a very nice model, nice work.
  18. For me it looks pretty good so far, maybe i would change the gear ratios, but only if it is going to do some heavy off-roading or hauling, just to protect the gears, i am very interested in the crane, the whole model looks promising to me.
  19. Nice work on that crane, i was hoping that someone could recreate it, it looks very nice.
  20. Oh my, this truck looks terrific, that ground clearance is just crazy!!! the suspension twists a lot, i really like this truck, with 3 XL´s it must have a lot of torque, the body looks good too, it looks like an Ural truck, i hope to see some more pictures (and/or videos) of it soon, maybe a detailed look of it good luck in the truck trial (And i must say that it really impressed me).
  21. The gears look pretty cool, at first i thought that my brain was starting to fail, hopefully it didn't, i really like how new things are being tested and improved, everything is looking great.
  22. Sound function, i really didn't expected that , very nice work on the crane, looks very robust and i can spot very good building techniques, it looks amazing.
  23. Hey, that´s pretty good, it performs amazingly well, nice work.
  24. This truck looks pretty cool, it reminds me the War Rig from Mad Max, a big and robust truck, the overall design is great, the drivetrain looks amazing and the steering angle is incredibly good, the suspension in both the truck and the trailer works great, i really like all the functions and details of this vehicle, very nice work on it.
