  1. hello, finally i found this topic; i make my models based in the movie vehicles, but some time ago, i found that its more easier if you make them based in the LEGO game, see in this page, there are almost all the vehicles of the 4 movies in LEGO: http://www.igcd.net/...1333&width=1280 , but sadly, there arent instructions, but if you have a good eye, and you are very detailed, you can try to build thems, i am right now, trying to finish the Pinzgauer, and before i found this page, i made the JW unimog: http://ldd.us.lego.c...a6-8362f295cd1b , as you can see, it seems to be very basic, but it has a very nice and modular frame with realistic suspension. I hope this help you to make more vehicles, and i will upload the Pinzgauer picture and instructions once i finish it; and nice all of your creations.
  2. yeah, that is the sad thing about the tatra in real life, they dont have portal axles.
  3. hi, i think maybe this crane would be very nice: and i wanted to know if someone can make some custom pieces like the pieces in this model for a tatra transmission: https://www.dropbox.com/home?preview=independent+suspension+with+custom+parts+(blue%2C+red+and+green).lxf the blue piece would work as a deifferential and the red and green gears would be on each side and would slide in the blue pin, but would move the wheels axles, i hope you can understand what im thinking, and good luck if you want to make that crane ;).
  4. hi, i want to explain the working of the tatra´s independent suspension, in a picture i used the Steyr Puch Pinzgauer transmission, which is made in the same principle: https://www.dropbox.com/home/suspension In these pictures maybe you can see how this transmission system works, the blue line represents the output of the engine, and the red and green lines the wheels axles, in the LXF file, the model 2 is very likely to the transmission used by Yoraish in his truck (which is very likely to the real life system), the model 3 in LXF file is used by some builders to fix the different axis between the wheels, and the model 1 its how it would looks like in real life trucks, which gives the option of a differential, and maybe, if someone could make custom parts, this transmission would be possible to build very likely to real life trucks, i hope this could work for you, and nice truck Kit Fisto, it remembers me a truck i made long tima ago with rubber bands instead of shock absorbers.
  5. hi efferman, have you ever tried to design or build your own custom pneumatic cylinder?
  6. oh, yeah you are right, i forgot to put mudguards and finish all the rear part.
  7. Something that would be nice is that there were lego lifting air bags, or suspension airlifts, they would be awesome to make a low rider, hot rot or others cars.
  8. this is my modified version of the tractor, it has 2 blades, larger wheels, rear trailer attachment and a differential gear, i hope you like it: https://www.dropbox....ified).lxf?dl=0
  9. https://www.dropbox.com/home/lego?preview=unimog+winch.lxf , this is my own version of the winch, which is very much stronger but still works with the clutch, hope it works for you.
