  1. Ok, i will see if i can make more modifications to avoid that problem.
  2. That is a really cool idea, i really like it, and it actually is very compact, nice work.
  3. I think i should make more improvements, by the way, where did you find that reply?, i dont remember where i wrote it.
  4. i have made some small improvements to my moded cabin, now it doesn't need any custom sticker to get an enough realistic grille: I know it doesn't look as you may expected, but that is because LDD, and in real life the 2x2 tile is placed in an "ilegal" position, i will try to post the real life picture soon (the LXF file: http://bricksafe.com/files/imanol/unimog/cab-v3/unimog%20u400%208110%20cab%20v3%2009-01-16.lxf) I have also started to make some "accesories", so far i have made an air conditioning, some roof mounted headlights and 2 (possibly train) horns, any suggestion to improve these accessories or to make other ones is well received: LXF file: http://bricksafe.com/files/imanol/unimog/cab-v3/unimog%20u400%208110%20cab%20v3%2009-01-16%20accesories.lxf Let me know what you think.
  5. That is becoming bigger and bigger every day (like a certain country´s inflation ), and from the structural point of view, looks pretty strong and robust, the counterweight arm looks amazing with all those reinforcements, is looking very good so far.
  6. That looks really cool, i once made a Belarus tractor with a crane, it is in my LDD Gallery and is also in Technic brand ( and "a bit" bigger), and this model that you have made is a very nice one, and would be a cool addition to a layout, i really like it.
  7. Maybe you could make a similar chassis of the 8110, or make an smaller version of Efferman´s Unimog UHN, which has a very flexible but yet robust chassis, which bends like many real life firetrucks like this one you are building.
  8. It would only (and barely) be a compliment to upload a video if you say that the video is not yours and you give all of the credits to the original creator, is similar to many other life situations, for example, you can create a vehicle with very similar or the same features or concept of other vehicles, but you must say that the inspiration or the main concept are from other people design, you must give the credits (and sometimes pay for the rights), because if you dont, that is considered plagiarism, whether they are or are not well intentioned.
  9. It depends, large trucks which dont need too much suspension but must take a lot of weight tend to use short leaf spring suspension with rigid axles, but if you want to make an small model like this one, a 7L flex axle installed in the chassis with an small curvature or in a U position should be enough.
  10. It looks really amazing, even with those big tires it still has a good balance of sizes (not like some official sets), i really like.
  11. It looks and performs really well, nice work.
  12. It looks amazing, i also found an small bug (which i don´t know if this only happened), this bug caused the shock absorbers to split and create a long layout area, it is easily solved by deleting the shock absorbers and putting new ones, but despite that, the entire model looks good in LDD, you made a great job Miguel.
  13. I was waiting for some one to start the topic, your mods look good so far, other mod that i would like to do is to put double tires in the axles, like in the real machine, but i am not sure of which tires.
  14. It is becoming pretty large and looks amazing, it is looking good so far.
  15. I think the problem might be in the bucket wheel itself, try to look closely to the curved gear racks, it could be possible that they could be a bit misaligned and this results in a small bumping every 90 degrees, and to be sure of this, you can remove the upper conveyor belt that moves the bucket wheel, to be sure of the location of the problem.
  16. I think that guy wants to be banned (and i hope he will); i have reported the channel directly to YouTube e-mail, lets hope they do something about that guy.
  17. That is really amazing Effe, the tractor seems very robust and has many nice functions, i really like the cab movement system, it is pretty interesting.
  18. Hi, for what you are saying the vehicle should be very nice, you can use bricksafe to post images
  19. I have found some other 1.9" tires that look to be of better quality: https://www.amazon.com/Goolsky-Austar-100mm-Scale-Crawler/dp/B01HR64370/ref=sr_1_35?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1472169004&sr=1-35&keywords=1.9+scale+tires , and i also found these ones for rally cars, they are 1.9" too, and might fit well in the Unimog´s rims: https://www.amazon.com/GoolRC-Grain-Traxxas-Tamiya-Kyosho/dp/B0142HD0IA/ref=pd_day0_21_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=WQK6CGF22X6PV9PHNZKN
  20. I am agree with ER0L, i mostly build trucks like Unimogs and Tatras that are pretty big in real life, and i have built them in 7 and 8 studs wide, trains are 8 studs wide and above, because 6 and sometimes 7 studs wide isn't enough for some trains, and the few times i have built cars they were 5 and 6 studs wide, but everything depends of the minifigs, because they are too wide (Fat), and have almost no movement to fit correctly in a vehicle, and so all vehicles tend to be oversized.
  21. It looks really nice, and also seems to have a very good performance, nice work.
  22. Thanks for the file RM8, is one of the best models i have ever got in my LDD.
  23. The only thing that should be changed in this model to convert it to a GBC, IMHO, is put some 5L liftarms in the lower conveyor belt, so the balls wont roll backwards, that should be enough for a efficient working.
