Many of the minifigs in this MOC were used by @paintballman in his CP5 MOCs and then mailed to me, in order to have the same level of details and a solid storyline. The container on the side of the building is hiding a power functions battery pack which powers up the lights in the hardware store! It took me a total of 3 days to make this MOC. I was at about 70% when I realized I had forgotten to install the hidden power funcions cables.

  4. GBW Campaign 5 - Deland Republic - At the rescue of the COST men Map : Studica Location : Somewhere in E8 Inside Xenor Territory - Here is RTE8 Rescue Team, We are arriving at the location of the COST base. We are deploying the half track vehicle here. No resistance encountered. Do you copy ? - Yes, RTE8, Here is Headquarter Command, receiving 5/5, you are authorized to look after the survivors. If you find Xenor troups, you are allowed to defend yourself ! Over. - Thank you HQ ! Apparently, there is not much left of the outpost; everything is ruined or in fire... We will quickly assist the survivors and leave the area. Over. The bombed outpost was nearly totally destroyed but the team managed to find a hurt soldier on the snow. He was a COST special force officer and had his leg wounded in the bombing. The medical officer took care of him in order to prepare his evacuation. With just one men to rescue, the team concluded to a terrible fact : the COST outpost was definitely lost... They evacuated the man to return him safely in his country and left the area without any problem. In the spoiler, I am adding some single shots of the half track vehicle and another overview of the build. Thanks for reading !
  5. [GBW - CP5] Alsarh - Behind Enemy Lines 1/8 - The Cave Downright Corner E8 Studica Map Alsarh had waited to long too join the war. Many have died and Alsarh had to stand by and watch. But no longer will that be the case. Alsarh is now at war. The new President of the country sent troops to Alsarh's close Ally Refnor. Though the President was disappointed when he heard that his troops were not going to invade a RON country but instead the neutral Xenor. He was upset but agreed to send troops to help find the missing COAC pilots and nothing more. 20 men were sent into the Julob Mountains, where the crash site was close to. 2 men to a group. Private Kurshive Eugluer and Sgt. Peter Torts were at the bottom of the mountain in an Alsarh army truck. Then they stopped. Kurshive was in the back and Peter was driving. "Why did you stop?' asked Kurshive. "I see a cave I think, perhaps we should go look and see if we find something related to the pilots." Replied Peter. Inside was a Filace coin, and what looked like some burnt logs. "One of the pilots must have stumbled apon here." said Kurshive. "Yeah, we ought to go tell the rest of the COAC." replied Peter. "Refnor Base this is Alsarh group 8. This is Sgt. Torts speaking. We have found a Filace coin and some burnt wood inside a small cave at the bottom of the Julob Mountains. We are at the downright Corner of grid E8 on the Studica map. We believe the coin to be of one of the most pilots." "Ok copy that, we will send this information to the Plantasea rescue team. Is there anything else?" "No." "Ok, thank you for your work gentleman. Continue you're search in the Mountains. Over and out." "Ok, we have to still go on Kurshive." So like good soldiers they start up the truck and continue their search. ______________________________________ This is my first time posting in this fourm and my first time really trying to make a MOC. Suggestions on how to improve for the future are very much welcome. Thanks.
  6. To secure the area surrounding the LZ for the Plantasean heli, a Plighian Air Cavalry Unit was sent out. Just as the Plantasean chopper was one minute out the squad received information from Command that an enemy QRF was less than 4 klicks from their position coming from the north-east. Not wanting the enemy to come close enough to take down the chopper with anti-air, the Plighian sergeant decided to intercept the Opfor, contacting the Plantasean rescue helicopter before moving out. Stopping there the team decided to contact Command for an update. Sergeant: Bravo 1-5 to command-over. Command: This is Command-send traffic. Sergeant: Command, requesting update on location of QRF-over. Command: Roger that Bravo 1-5, Opfor on same trajectory as your squad-break-enemy location one klick and closing-over. Sergeant: Roger that Command-break, will move to intercept-over. Command: Command copies, over and out. The sergeant then set his squad up in an L-shaped ambush at the top of the gully. 8. GBW- CP5 - EROTEMA – Behind Enemy Lines 4/8 Blindspot The action hereby depicted takes place at the same time than episode 3/8 (Captain Gennaro). Grid E8 After the last events, the situation with Xenor has gone worse and worse… The Filace Ambassador declared that he would not allow the RON to use Xenor territory or airspace to carry out attacks on the COAC. This implied the dispatching of a pair of jets to gather information on RON forces in Xenor, but they were shot down by Xenor Harriers on grid E8 (Studica). The pilots had to be rescued, and air cover for the operation was necessary, so a retaliation air operation was launched. This operation will involve a Filace (The Beeze) SpecOps unit to destroy an enemy airbase, an Erotema attack plane as well as a Filace sniper team (Captain Genaro) to destroy a Xenor SAM site; the sniper team will be extracted by New Brickika forces (Spud The Viking). This was reported by the snipers… "TIZONA, missiles inbound, missiles inbound. They're shooting at you" the spotter exclaimed with just a hint of excitement in his otherwise calm demeanor “Redeye, roger, taking evasive action” A few seconds later TIZONA reported… “Missiles evaded, repeat, missiles evaded” Laser guided bombs on their way by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr Another picture of 2 lovely laser-guided bombs impacting the enemy SAM site. 20. Recruiting Campaign 1 The Fight for Support We are going to run a small contest and support campaign before rolling out Campaign 5. The goal here is to help boost our membership here on Eurobricks and gain some new members. There are a lot of talented military builders out there who we still have not reached. Our goal with this project is to reach them. Due to the sizing guidelines listed below and the goal of this campaign, players are asked to focus and build extremely detailed builds. The whole point of this game has been to advance ourselves as builders so let's put that to work here and shell out some serious quality work. All builds can be used as promotional material for the Great Brick War. If players are not okay with us using your Pictures to advertise the game, do not submit a build. We reserve the right to disqualify and not include any builds from completion or in our promotion campaign if we do not feel they are up to the quality we desire. There is no team planning needed for this so start working now and don't wait until the last minute. Build Guidelines Players are to build a 16x16 Vignette - No bigger, no smaller. Players are to show their troops doing anything of their choosing in any location- No Blood or Gore All builds must be posted as a new topic in the “Great Brick War” subforum, the title prefixed by, "(GBW- RC1)" followed by the Country you’re representing, and then your MOC’s Title. Example "(GBW- RC1) Filace - Make Building Great Again") All LDD Builds must be labeled- Example: (GBW- CP4) Country - Title of build (LDD) All builds must be new MOC’s and not prior builds. Players can only submit (1) Picture for Judging. (Other pictures may be linked) Pictures cannot have any watermarks as they will be used for advertising. Photo Editing is to be kept to a minimum with only real edits of lighting and color correction. No special effects. Players may crop one picture of their MOC onto a background picture to help with their landscape if they’d like. Picture Size is limited to 800x600 but players are encouraged to link to a Higher Resolution version we can use. Players may post a link to an offsite host such as Flickr where Higher Res pics are located. Share your photos in the GBW Flickr Group! There are no restrictions as to what you can show in this image based on your points scale. Upon completion, players must also post a link to their build in the AAR Thread as well letting the judges know that it is eligible for scoring. 21. Campaign 5 Through the Mountains Map Name: Studica Grid: E8 Time: 2330 Hours It has long been rumored that the COAC and RON were breaking international law and moving troops and supplies through Xenor to try and gain an upper hand on one another. The recent tumultuous activity in the Brick of Nations has stirred up a bit of trouble for all nations. Since the latest revelation of the CoST base inside Xenor being bombed by the Xenor air force, RON forces have begun amassing along the North Eastern border of Xenor in preparation for an Assault. Meanwhile a pair of COAC jets were dispatched on a reconnaissance flight over Xenor after the Filace intelligence agent was executed in hopes of spotting more RON Forces. The two jets were picked off by the Xenor Harrier force. Both pilots safely ejected in Xenor territory and are currently on the run. Efforts are now underway by COAC forces to push into Xenor to try and rescue their pilots and restore some balance of order as diplomacy has long since failed. Campaign Guidelines RON forces are to be shown either A. Coming to the aid of the bombed base they had inside Xenor or B. Attacking Xenor forces. COAC foraces are to be shown either A. Searching for the lost pilots or B. Attacking Xenor Forces. RON and COAC forces can be shown bumping into each other or bumping into Xenor forces while completing the rescue parts of the mission. 22. Servants of Freedom 1 Servants of Freedom 2 Xenor. An aristocratic nation, prosperous and vibrant. On the surface. Beneath the calm veneer, tension runs like ocean currents. The wealthy upper class, the business owners, CEOs, government officials, and rulers have become more heavy-handed and oppressive over the last few years. A rebel group, calling itself Servants of Freedom has made a name for itself in this nation among the not-so-fortunate people, a whispered name that brings hope to many. They wield a growing influence among the oppressed, and are growing quickly. Little is known about them, but rumors have leaked out, brief mentions of this partisan force. About 18 months ago, an agent was sent to substantiate these rumors. He was able to make contact with a ranking member of the Servants of Freedom. A deal was made, and in exchange for information about Xenor's internal affairs, money and supplies were passed to aid the rebels.... [GBW-CP5] Aiding Rebels Jim was getting worried. He'd been waiting in the alley for nearly 20 minutes now. His contact, Caesar was running late... Or worse. It was conspicuous enough to have been standing here for 15 minutes, but if anyone had noticed both he and his delivery were still here.... He refused to dwell on that thought. Yes, he had been a few minutes early to the exchange, and yes, these were dangerous times, but still. If someone had informed on him, and he were caught with this box of materials, he would see nothing but cell walls for what would remain of his very shortened life. He turned and gazed at the graffiti on the wall across from him. Innocuous, common, and usually ignored. Except this symbol signified much more. The skull, crying a stream of blood, embodied the resentment, suffering, and resolve of the people of Xenor. It was the mark of the Servants of Freedom. To Jim it was simply a marker of this place, where exchanges were made. [GBW-CP5] Aiding Rebels And speaking of exchanges, he wasn't going to wait much more. "I'll give 'em two minutes, no more. Then I'm outta here. Should have been gone already," he muttered. At the one-minute mark, two men came up behind him, spooking Jim. "Holy---! Don't-- I-- Argh! You're late. I need to get gone, lets do this quick." "Agreed, time is essential." Code phrases exchanged, Caesar clapped Jim on the shoulder. "Sorry we're late, thought we grew a tail for a bit. Had to lose him, just to be safe. Now then, is this lovely package here all mine?" "It is, but first-" "Right here friend, right here." Caesar handed Jim a USB drive, then asked, "What's in this one? It's probably the biggest one you have personally passed to us." "I don't know," Jim replied, "Plausible deniability and all that. Regardless of what it is, it'll be of use to you." [GBW-CP5] Aiding Rebels Thanks for checking this out, feel free to give C&C. More photos on Flickr. And for those who like the skull art, LDD is here. - Leonardo da Bricki Judges, please look at the spoiler, it has images of the whole build for you!
  23. GBW TNN Reporting "I am your host Samuel Cook, and tonight on the Toohati News Network, I am joined by Director Avery Eslinger, and we have a special report from the Department of Weapons Acquisition, Research, and Development. The Toohati National Army has finished all phases of development of its latest, and greatest, armored vehicle! The new 'Rapid Assault, Armored Vehicle' is now being deployed across our nation, and we are here to bring you the first photos ever released! Take a look at these!" Rapid Assault, Armored Vehicle Rapid Assault, Armored Vehicle Rapid Assault, Armored Vehicle "Now, Director Eslinger, since you're in the hot seat, I have some questions for you." "I hope I can answer all of them, much information regarding the Rapid Assault Armored Vehicle, or the RAAV, is still classified." "I sure hope you can! I like that name: 'RAAV' just sounds right. First of all, how long has the RAAV been in development?" "It has been in constant development for about three years, but the idea first crossed my desk about 5 years ago. Recent events hastened its research, production, and now, deployment." "What purpose was it built for? I'm by no means expert, but the RAAV seems smaller than other tanks." "Yes, it is smaller than other tanks, as it was built specifically for the purpose of engaging in urban warfare, or fighting in tight quarters. Through many advancements in various aspect of technology, we have created a next-generation vehicle which is capable of supporting, transporting, and protecting a group of soldiers in a hostile urban environment. Although the reduced size may seem to reduce effectiveness, it presents a smaller target to any enemy, and allows for improved maneuvering in the tight quarters of city streets, forests, or mountains." "Excellent. Has the RAAV been tested in a real-life combat situation?" "Yes, it has, actually. The first four RAAVs manufactured fought in last month's Battle of Carrefour, where they were used to great effect with inserting soldiers to key positions during the attack." "Alright. There you have it! After Xenor's recent declarations of war, Toohati is pushing back, and pushing hard! Thank you for joining me tonight, Director." GBW TNN Reporting ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Some more info and good photos of my RAAV. C&C welcome! To the judges: I was not sure if this would fall into the "Lord of War" or "Media" side build categories, I think either one would work. If I need to change it, let me know. - Leonardo da Bricki EDIT: I am such a megablocking idiot! @TheBeeze I just added this to my AAR post. Forgive my stupidity...
