  1. Perfect future that our ancestors were waiting hasn’t come. High technologies couldn’t give happiness to everyone. Endless space was too cold and empty. Timid attempts of travelling to nearest stars have shown that there is no planet like Earth in the nearest space. And Earth was overpopulated. And even space colonies on Mars and Moon couldn’t help. There was giant lack of food and clean water. Nowadays it’s impossible to find the truth about those days. Anyway this truth will change nothing. The fact is billiards of people died. Some say the reasons were wars, famine and climate changes. Some say it was well planned genocide. New world order wasn’t perfect. Only few people could stay on Earth. All facilities were transported to space in order to clean the planet. Most of people had to go there too. Moreover progress in automation and robotechnologies made most of them unemployment. Argues between Earth and colonies turned into wars. That moment it has become obvious that humanity will disappear if it doesn’t find new home. Project “The Ark”. 30 giant space ships. There were 100 billions of cryocells on every ship. They had to start the journey to the far space in order to find a planet, where the colony could be set up. Those days navigation was too bad to find a way back. So it was one way ticket. Potential colonists were very different: there were enthusiasts, refugees, criminals, scientists, beggars, homeless, businessmen and politics. Some of them were looking for better life, some wanted to save the humanity and some searched new opportunities. And the project failed. After decades of quest only 8 ships have found a suitable planet. The others had to survive in severe conditions. And 10 ships were lost. However this poor steps become the base of true human expansion to space. SHIPtember 2015: The Ark by Sunder_59, on Flickr
  2. [Challenge 2] [Cat A] OF63 "Ace of Spades" Excerpt from the Octan Corporate Guide to Spacecraft, pg. 345: The OF63 is the latest in a long line of Octan single-seat fighters. This particular model has been dubbed "Ace of Spades" due to its near dominance of space warfare. Don't let it's sleek profile and spindly guns fool you; this fighter packs a punch! 4. Well, as I have many Duplos at home (I got a 2 yo kid which is a Lego enthusiast), when I want to "physically" build something, I use those, instead of LDD. Of course, the size and colors of the bricks tend to limit the results, but Duplo can also be useful to build something nice. These are starships I made for my little kid, and he enjoyed playing with them at least as much as I enjoyed building them (and it was much!). Frigate Cruiser Carrier/Battleship Does anyone else build something with Duplos for their toddlers?

    Microscale starship fleet

Hi, I signed up for 3 years but it's the first mocs I have post on Eurobrick's forum (I'm shy and it's hard for me to write in English). I have put the photos of these mocs in the eurobricks FlickR group since many days, but I never present them in the forum. I started slowly this mocs for six months. At the beginning, I have'nt planned to create an entire fleet, especially the vessel carrier. I had a lot of fun with the fisrt starship, so I continued up not having more ideas... So here is the Têta starship fleet : => The main starship : The Asimov class vessel carrier: => The battleship : => The "U-ship" : => The cruiser: => countermeasure corvette: => Light corvettes Luna A & B : => Supply vessel : => stealth bomber : => F-76 fighter F-76 fighter par Alkinoos_38, sur Flickr => F-78 fighter F-78 fighter par Alkinoos_38, sur Flickr => I have more photos in my FlickR album : microscale starship
  6. Hey there, i'm relative new in this forums, but not to LEGO Star Wars.. ^^ Until now, i've spent my time on Imperium der Steine, a german Lego Star wars forum. But now, i want to introduce myself here, with my first MOC. It's my version of the E-Wing Escort Starfighter, well known from the Expanded Universe. Introduced at the time of the New Republic, it was later one of the major starfighters in the New Republic's Navy. It's a single-pilot Starfighter, with support from an Astromech-droid, which is placed in a slot behind the cockpit. The Starfighter is equipped with a Shield-generator and armed with three laser-cannons and one proton-torpedo launcher. This shown model is created out of 343 bricks, including the Pilot and the Astromech-Droid. It's build in minifigure-scale and fits in it's size to the second generation (2006) x-wing. Created as a concept model in LDD. I have uploaded it on Cuusoo too, so maybe, you would support me. It would be great.. ;) Thanks, and best regards $leeper

    [MOC] K-Wing Starfighter

Hi, I just wanted to share my K-Wing with you. If you want this to become an official LEGO set, please support this project on LEGO Ideas (formerly LEGO Cuusoo). History The K-Wing was a heavy starfighter in the Star Wars universe. It was developed for the New Republic during the Yevethan crisis, replacing the B-Wing. In the Second Galactic Civil War, Commenor deployed K-wings for defense during the Battle of Commenor. (→ read more on Wookieepedia) The LEGO set The set I'm thinking of includes 3 rebel pilot minifigs and a R2-series astromech droid. It would fit perfectly to the other already released starfighters, like the official X- or Y-Wing sets. I created the model using Lego Digital Designer. My construction consists of 1020 pieces, the price would probably be around $100.00, but please consider that the final set design by LEGO could be different. Please support this project Again, please cast your supporting vote and spread the word, inform your family, your friends, and anyone you know who could be interested in supporting this LEGO set idea - the path to 10,000 supports is a long one and this mission needs any help it can get! ;) PS: I’m going to build one when reaching 1,000 supporters

    Star Trek: U.S.S Enterprise

My first MOC here on Eurobricks, The U.S.S Enterprise from Star Trek I want to make the disc shaped part thinner so it doesn't look so clunky, then I'll be working on a Klingon bird of prey. Thanks for looking at my MOC. Comments and constructive criticism welcome.

    NCS Infiltration viper!

Introducing my latest MOC: The NCS Infiltration Viper! This was built as my contribution to Vic Viper Novvember. Originally Commander Grayson of the NCS Star fleet's personal transport, the Infiltration Viper was built when agile space combat ships were needed. It's a favored design by many federation fighter pilots, although it's a very rare opportunity to be able to drive one of these as very few were ever produced. only about 6 are currently scattered around the stars. Well, I have officially created one Neo classic space ship in each of the three color schemes! I call this a success :-) My flickr! You can find my blog at spacebricks.blogspot.com! -Jasbury!
