[MINI] Deep Sea Expedition Ship
Gabor posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi! It's my entry for the 200 contest! This is a ship with a yellow submarine. Hope you like it! Part count is exactly 200! The creation has four functions, two of them are controlled by hand, and two are controlled by the two black gears at the rear (but by hand ): - telescopic crane - posable robotic arms on the submarine - high or low position of the crane - control the reel inside the ship to put the submarine into the water Thanks for watching! -
Hello there Here is a sad one. Not the MOC but the story after. The Lighthouse of Grimmhavn Build up 2011 and shown on many events, especial in the LUG Show Case in Berlin, germany. About 8000 bricks and many hours of work were needed for this one. Its a pity, but the lighthouse crashed a few weeks ago, after an event in Berlin. Here is the last picture of it: Best regards BoB

Hello there I had some dark weeks without that much building, but the Home Sweet Home-Contest gave me motivation to build again. There are several cool Lego-Space themes, but i took the chance to build once again in one of my favorite Sci-Fi-worlds: Steampunk! "Every style-conscious Gentleman needs his home. Some have mansions at the sea. But why living at the sea when you can live in the sea?" -Sir Octavius- This is the home of the steamy gentleman Sir Octavius and the scene stands on a round base. The base is not nearly 48 studs in diameter, but i wanted to have space to play with the tentacles overlapping the border of this circle. All photos on MOCpages. Stay creative and steamy! *toof* *toof* Jonas

Here's one of my most recent MOCs, Hunting in the Loch: The man grasped his spear tightly. Squinting his eyes, he peered carefully into the dark, swirling water. Something dark seemed to be moving about under the water…or was that just a reflected raincloud? A bright flash of lightning broke through the cloudy sky, and the rain began to beat even more heavily on the hunter’s head. Suddenly the water in front of him exploded into the air, and a black, writhing shape burst out. The man never saw its head; by the time the immediate shock had passed all that was visible was its scaly back, capped with large, menacing spikes. Shaking rain out of his eyes, the man prepared to throw his spear. Soli Deo Gloria! Thanks for viewing! :)

Finally got my old minifigs back and can start doing more Brickfilms again! Captain Redbeard's fallen on some hard times out on the open sea, and is about to lose the plot altogether... Lemme know what you think?

A continuation of my Pirate story. Previously The Spanish galleon rocked lazily to and fro some distance off shore, when the sentry saw the glimmer of armor on the beach. "Carlos, look! El Capitan returns!" "Si Pascal, I see him by his armor, I dearly hope he has blotted out the pestilence from these islands… ...But then again, he would not return if he hadn't." Unfortunately for the Spanish, it was not their captain in the rowboat. "Myar har har! This be the best plan ye ever hatched Cap'n!" "Quiet mates! We wouldn't want to spoil the whole plot! Let me do the talkin'. I know a few words of their gibberish that will get us safely aboard." As the rowboat approached, the soldier hailed. "Hola, Señor Capitan! We are so glad to see you back safely! With a wave of his hand, and keeping his face turned down, Captain Mark replied. "Si, si! We beat the scoundrels badly! Throw down the ladder, mi amigo, and I will tell you all about it! ___________________________________ To be continued. Arrr.. Thanks for viewing and have a great day! I'm sure most of you have seen this boat already, but I'm trying to finish the story.

[pid][/pid]231C "I ask ye, Cap'n, whose idea was it to attack that vessel?" Lew inquired coldly. "Arrr!! Belay that!" Captain Mark growled, "How was I supposed to know that the ship we attacked was part of a very well-guarded treasure fleet!?" "We might have at least taken a look about before giving them a hearty broadside..." grumbled Bob. "Shipmates, there be no need for quarreling. As soon as we step ashore on yonder island we'll get us a new boat and sail the seas once again!" The Captain's talk calmed his disgruntled crew but then the first mate called out... "Ahoy Captain!" "Arrr! Forget it Preston! You know as well as I that we ran out of rum yesterday..." "No, Captain, there is a ship on the port side but a half a mile away! I think she be one of the Spanish Galleons that gave us a rough reception a few days past." They all sat in silence for a moment. The stillness was broken when Captain Mark bellowed... "Row for your lives, me hearties!! She's set her course straight for us!" "That's a mighty hard thing to do when we only got one paddle Cap'n...!" ...... To be continued. Arrr.. The first of many pirate scenes to come. Thanks for viewing and have a great day!

CCCX Ras-al-Jabar This story tells us a tale of a gorgeous and rich land now buried under the sands, Ras-al-Jabar "An old castle called Ras-al-Jabar was built hundreds of years ago by Emir of Rabaat in the southern realm of Mamlakat. The Salam river runs through these lands and it is the main source of fresh water and fish. Ras-al-Jabar is the center of trade and learning. Markets impress everyone by rich variety of products from all over the world. Ras-al-Jabar's library is still the largest in the southern region. This castle provided safety and defence to the whole land. But its greatness fell when The Dark times began..." __________________________ CCCX Ras-al-Jabar by Fianat, on Flickr CCCX Ras-al-Jabar by Fianat, on Flickr CCCX Ras-al-Jabar by Fianat, on Flickr CCCX Ras-al-Jabar by Fianat, on Flickr CCCX Ras-al-Jabar by Fianat, on Flickr CCCX Ras-al-Jabar by Fianat, on Flickr This is my first entry for the Colossal Castle Contest 2012 in the Miscellaneous Category Deeplinks : Brickshelf Set More Pictures Thanks for viewing! This is my first entry to the Miscellaneous category. Be sure to check out the Video! During the first Outlaw Crusade, Loreesi and Lenfel fleets scoured and harassed the coasts and the swamps and marshes of the Outlaws. They attacked any vessels they met. Here we see two Loreesi war galleys chasing down some smaller outlaw craft. This one was so much fun to build! :D I like nothing better than palmtrees and war galleys filled with knights! ;)
