  1. It's time for you to cast your votes for your favourite entries in .... Pimp My Camper! We have been overwhelmed by both the quality and quantity of entries in this contest. Well done to everyone who has entered! Now we need you to vote for your favourites. To reward you for voting, we are proud to offer a Voting Raffle: thanks to The LEGO Group, three copies of 40079 Mini VW Camper will be awarded to eligible voters by random selection. Entries are indexed by thumbnail in the post below. We recommend reading through the Entry Thread before voting, as many entries have features which will not be apparent from the thumbnails. If your entry has not been indexed, then it has been ruled ineligible. Common reasons include two or more entries in one post (first only is indexed), or pictures not deeplinked. If more than four pictures were included, we have still included the entry but have removed the image tags from the excess images. Use this thread only for voting. Please use the Discussion Thread for questions relating to the voting rules or process. Please do not ask us to fix titles for the thumbnails - we have chosen them based on the information you have provided. Your username may not show exactly as it should be; please do not ask us to change it unless it is completely inaccurate (eg. shows the wrong member). In view of the extraordinary number and quality of entries, we have allowed extra time for voting. Voting will close on 1 November 2013. This has nothing to do with any holidays planned by the Special Themes Staff. So Get Voting! Voting Rules Winners will be decided by public vote. Only Eurobricks members who registered before the start of the contest (registered on or before 30 August 2013) are eligible to vote. You may cast a total of 9 (nine) votes. You may cast a maximum of 3 votes may be cast for any one entry. You may cast a maximum of 3 votes for any one entrant, regardless of how many times they have entered. You may not vote for yourself. Any member who infringes these rules will have ALL their votes disqualified and will not be eligible for the voting raffle. Any attempt at vote-rigging will be dealt with harshly. Elibile votes will be entered into a voting raffle with further prizes detailed below. The Eurobricks staff reserves the right to adjust these rules as necessary. If there is a tie, or any dispute, the EB staff decision will be final. Example vote: The Prizes (kindly provided by The LEGO Affiliate Programme) First Prize 10220 VW Camper + 40079 Mini VW Camper Four Runners-Up Prizes 40079 Mini VW Camper Three Voting Raffle Prizes 40079 Mini VW Camper Some tags also may be awarded at the discretion of the Special Themes staff.

  14. I am pleased to announce the winners of the Heroica RPG 2nd Anniversary Building Contest! There were many fantastic entries and it is clear a lot of voters had difficulty choosing their absolute favourites. In the end, a clear winner and runner-up emerged from the voting. Coming in 1st place and winning the grand prize of his choice of either 70404 King's Castle or 79008 Pirate Ship Ambush, with 45 votes, was Fianat with his Temple of Ennoc creation, congratulations! Runner-up in this contest and taking away the left over prize, with 28 votes, was Etzel with his Shrine of the Blessed creation. Well done to both of you! Two really fantastic builds that captured exactly what this contest was all about. Honourable mentions also go to, in no particular order, Emma, Legonardo, Scubacarrot and Cara, who each received over 10 votes and deserve recognition for their efforts in this contest. Thank you for entering! There was only one entry into the staff category by Peppermint_M, who wins a landslide victory and the unique in-game item, Mod Rod (WP:10, causes the afraid-effect; lightning-elemental staff suitable for staff members only). Congratulations to you also! The staff entry requirements were much stricter, requiring the builder to also include a duplo element in their build. A really big thank you to everyone else who participated, commented on and voted in this event, it has been a tremendous success and a great way to celebrate the on-going popularity of the Heroica RPG here on EuroBricks. I'd also like to thank Darkdragon for helping tally the votes with me, and Sandy for running the Cruel Angel's Thesis game as part of these celebrations. Congratulations once again to our winners! If you are interested in viewing all of the entries they can be found here. Winning Entry: Temple of Ennoc by Fianat Runner Up Entry: Shrine of the Blessed by Etzel Staff Category Winner: Ninja Chicks by Peppermint_M

    DH: Quazara Angelata

Quazara Angelata is an extremely powerful and special Hero. Not only can she fly (thanks to her Quaza wings and boot thrusters), but she also has built-in warp drive (on her ankles). making her among the first Heroes designed by Hero Factory for use in outer space. Her essence is stored throughout her body, so even if her Hero Core were to be damaged or run out of power, she would survive. Moreover, her warp drive is independently powered, but she can re-route that power to her Hero Core or her weapon. She carries a Dual Quaza Staff, which can unleash energy blasts, generate a force field to protect herself in battle, and split into two half-staves. Click any image for a larger version. <LXF File (wings out, staff together)> - <LXF File (wings folded, staff split)> -<Brickshelf Gallery> Good luck to everyone in this contest! -Toa Of Justice

  20. Eurobricks Collectable LEGO Minifigures Series 7 to 9 Building Contest Results [Category 7A, 8A and 9A winners] The Contest: Hey everyone, it's finally over! This is the exciting moment which all of you are waiting for. Without further ado, let me proceed to announce the winners for Category 7A, 8A and 9A. Special thanks, to our lovely Eurobricks Friends Moderator, Pandora for assisting in the counting of the votes! Thank you so much, Pandy! What do you stand to win? After 8 days, the votes will be calculated for each category and the winners will be declared. Once they have sent their name/address to DarkFang. He will ship out their wonderful prizes. What wonderful prizes, you ask? Well, TLG has generously sponsored these new lovely minifigures from Series 7 - 9 while Eurobricks sponsored all handling/shipping costs. Attention to all winners, you are to post your preference from the most preferred to the least preferred based on one complete Series 7, 8 and 9 set in a systematic listing format regardless of your winning position. I will do the sorting myself once I have received all of the winners' PMs. For winners who win in more than one category, you are to specify your preferences accordingly for Category 7A, 8A and 9A. The preferences are not to be mixed together. There is a special arrangement for the prize distribution. There is a tie for Category 8A and 9A for the fourth place. Both winners in the fourth place will be able to get the equal treatment of the prizes. I will make sure you will get it. But, I do apologies for that two categories, there will not be any prizes for the fifth place as each category can only allow five winners. Administrative note, DarkFang and myself will only be able to process the PMs only after 15 June 2013. Therefore, there will be a delay in the shipping process. I seek your understanding in this matter. Thank you. (LCC) The Last Stand

(LCC) The Last Stand. by Mark of Falworth, on Flickr A lone Areani knight faces off against a horde of outlaws! They may outnumber him 100 to 1, but they will never take him alive! He will fight to the bitter end! For the Glory of Loreos! _________________ This is my small addition to the Art of War contest over at the LCN. Be sure to check it out!

    B/A: Koboldon

My entry for the Before & After Brain Infection contest. For full disclosure, I built both models with the help of my twin brother Lyichir. Click through any of the images to see them on my Flickr photostream. In their natural form, Koboldon are tunnel goblins with a diet of metallic ore, which they mine for with their powerful, shovel-like claws. They are reclusive, but generally not aggressive. But once the evil brains landed on their home planet, many were mutated into grotesque, hulking fiends that burrow beneath cities, reducing buildings and infrastructure to rubble. Can any hero stand up to the might of Koboldon's radioactive power claw? More pictures: About the MOC: Lyichir and I came up with the foot design for a much larger model a few months ago, and we decided a bestial foot design like this would be perfect for this contest. The head was designed in an effort to create a brain-infected head that looked as detailed and fearsome as any of the official 2013 villain faceplates, but which had a unique character of its own. Lyichir had the idea to use Transparent Bright Green (the same color as the brain) to highlight areas most heavily affected by the mutation, and I designed the power claw with that in mind. Comments, questions, and criticism are welcome! Hope you enjoy this MOC!
  23. As the darker powers in the corners of the world grew, the former strength of great kingdoms no longer seemed so unshakeable. Magic found its way back into the world, and the world trembled. I was gone for a while, but I was still following the community when I could. But now I'm back, and hopefully will be able to build some more. This is my entry to the CBC Epic Siege category, and is definitely one of my bigger mocs. Credit for damaged wall technique goes to Legonardo Davidy and Mark of Falworth. Comments welcome!
  24. I was on BrickHeroes yesterday and I came across a Brickfilm contest through tongal. Has anyone else heard of it or even entered? If so what are some of your ideas? Post some of your videos. Here is the link to the site: http://tongal.com/project/LEGODC2013# Pie
